The Clever Rabbit and the Lion Once upon a time, a fierce lion ruled a jungle and terrorized the animals. Every day, he demanded that the animals send him one creature as his meal. To survive, the animals held a meeting to devise a plan. They decided to take turns sending one animal to the lion each day. One day, it was the turn of a clever rabbit.
