Welcome to The BCC Podcast, the official podcast of the Biblical Counseling Coalition (BCC). Previously called 15:14, this podcast is based on Romans 15:14 — reminding us that, as believers, we are "full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, and able to instruct one another" — this show is dedicated to multiplying relationships and robust resources within the biblical counseling movement.
Join host Kevin Carson (Executive Director of the BCC) along with BCC staff and leading voices from across the global network as we explore the sufficiency and necessity of Scripture for the personal ministry of the Word. We tackle the real, messy realities of human relationships and soul care — including depression, anxiety, grief, and conflict resolution — through insightful interviews and theological discussions.
Whether you are a pastor, certified biblical counselor, lay leader, or believer seeking to speak God's truth in love, The BCC Podcast equips the local church for compassionate outreach, progressive sanctification, and Christ-centered discipleship.

A Conversation with Dr. Howard Eyrich (Part 1): A Historical Reflection on the Biblical Counseling Movement In this episode of the 15:14 Podcast, Kevin Carson sits down with Dr. Howard Eyrich, who is one of the earliest and most influential leaders in the biblical counseling movement, for a wide-ranging historical reflection. Recorded at the Biblical Counseling Coalition Global Summit in December 2025, during a season of transition between executive directors, this conversation captures both the roots and the heart of biblical counseling. Dr. Eyrich shares his personal journey into biblical counseling, his formative years training under Jay Adams at CCEF, and the theological convictions that shaped the movement in its earliest days. This episode offers listeners a rare firsthand account of how biblical counseling developed, the challenges it faced, and the faithful leaders God used to establish it in churches, seminaries, and counseling ministries around the world. In this episode of 15:14, Kevin Carson, Executive Director of the Biblical Counseling Coalition, is joined by David Peterson, BCC team member and director of the 133 Networking Groups. David reintroduces this vital ministry, shares stories of how God is using these groups, and explains how listeners can join an existing group or even begin a 133 group in their own region. One of the great joys of the Biblical Counseling Coalition is bringing together biblical counselors from a wide variety of backgrounds to cultivate gospel-centered fellowship, encouragement, and collaboration. In this episode of 15:14, we highlight one ministry that does this in a unique and powerful way - the 133 Networking Groups. This conversation invites counselors into deeper fellowship, reminds us that ministry is not meant to be done alone, and encourages participation in a growing network committed to Christ-centered, Scripture-saturated care. The BCC currently supports 133 Networking Groups around the world, along with two virtual groups. These groups provide meaningful spaces for counselors to encourage one another, share resources, pray together, and grow stronger in their ministry.
