In a culture that confuses emotion with love and blurs the lines between men and women, what does the Bible actually teach about marriage? In this episode of 21st Century Acts, we return to the foundation — from Book of Genesis to Epistle to the Ephesians 5 — to examine God’s design for covenant love. What does it mean that the husband is the head of the wife? What does biblical submission look like? Why did Paul ground marital roles in creation order? And how does marriage ultimately reflect Christ and His Church? This is not a reaction to culture. It is not an apology for Scripture. It is a clear, holistic look at what the New Testament actually says — about headship, submission, sacrifice, responsibility, and redemption. At the center of it all is the “great mystery”: marriage as a living picture of Christ’s covenant love for His bride. If we want strong families, stable homes, and a faithful Church in the 21st century, we must return to God’s design — not improve upon it. Listen, reflect, and share.

In Romans 14, Paul addresses the balance between Christian Liberty and Christian Charity. This is a crucial lesson for the maturation of every Christian. Listen in as Pastor Jonathan expounds on this crucial chapter of God's word.

Does God desire that I pray in tongues? Or is that gift for a select few? Or is it done away with altogether? I Corinthians 14 is often used by those who have never experienced speaking in tongues as a club against those who do. But the chapter is promoting tongues, not condemning it.
