In early 2006, a 30-year-old woman in Tallahassee was four months pregnant and navigating a tricky time in her life. Cautiously optimistic about welcoming her rainbow baby, she was also going through some personal troubles. Her and her husband had been separated for a few months and she was casually seeing another man, whom she was breaking things off with to work on her marriage and prepare for the arrival of the baby. After a regular day of working her 9-5 office job followed by her side gig at a grocery store bakery, she headed home to get off her feet. That was the last anyone saw her. Even though she was normally in touch with friends, family, and co-workers every single day, a series of events led her to not be reported missing for a few days. The investigation revealed persons of interest, clues around a late night telephone call, and a missed counseling appointment. All of these things paved the way for theories. Finally, fifteen years after her disappearance, more of what happened that night came into light but it still hasn’t been enough to close the case.
