THIS MOMTH ON THE RECASTING CALL...We enter the storm, step into the library, and completely rebuild The Pagemaster for 2026.Who survives the recast?A legendary storyteller becomes the mysterious keeper of the library.Adventure gets a bold new heroic edge.Horror turns into pure chaotic fun.A rising young actress steps into the lead role. And the biggest debate of the episode…Who should become Fantasy? The eccentric wildcard? The grounded heart of the story?Or the fast-talking modern chaos option? We break down:what made the original movie specialwhat absolutely wouldn’t work todayhow to modernize the film without losing the magicand why the dragon voice might be the most important choice in the entire movie. It’s nostalgic. It’s chaotic. It’s surprisingly emotional. And somewhere along the way, this fake remake became a movie we’d actually want to see.The Recasting Call — where Hollywood’s old ideas get one more shot at greatness.

Lights, camera… body slam. This week on Central Booking, Freddie and Kevin welcome special guest — filmmaker Issac William Joesph — for a cinematic showdown with a twist. The mission? Build the ultimate movie lineup… but there’s a catch: every pick must feature a professional wrestler. It’s a full-on movie draft, round-robin style. One by one, the guys assemble their starting lineups, digging through action classics, hidden gems, guilty pleasures, and maybe a few “wait… they were in THAT?” surprises. Strategy comes into play fast — do you grab the obvious heavy hitters early, or take a risk on a sleeper pick before it’s gone?Expect debates, steals, questionable choices, and plenty of trash talk as each host tries to outbook the others with the strongest roster of wrestling-fueled films.By the end, only one lineup can reign supreme.Grab your popcorn… and maybe a steel chair.

The stench of the sewers clings to you like a second skin as your party presses deeper into the dripping tunnels beneath the city, the echoes of something ancient and hungry slithering through the darkness ahead. Rumors spoke of the dreaded Year-Eater Basilisk—a creature said not only to turn flesh to stone, but to devour time itself, aging its victims into dust with a single gaze—and now, the air trembles with the proof of its summoning. Rounding a broken archway etched with forgotten runes, you find two figures standing amidst the chaos: Cosetta, shackled no longer yet bearing the marks of captivity, her eyes sharp with hard-earned defiance, and Waldove, a cloaked wanderer whose steady grip on blade and spell suggests both caution and experience. Drawn together by fate—or perhaps by the same dark force stirring below—you have only moments to exchange words before a low, grinding roar reverberates through the tunnels. The basilisk is near… and whatever brought it here is far from finished. What happens when you take one of the most powerful stories ever told and drop it into today’s Hollywood? This month, we’re recasting To Kill a Mockingbird—and yeah… we didn’t play it safe. From Atticus Finch to Scout, Bob to Tom Robinson, and yes even Boo. We break down who today’s actors are that could carry the weight, the wisdom, and the emotional gut punches of this timeless story. Some picks feel perfect. Others might start an argument—and honestly, that’s half the fun. We’re talking:- Who has the presence to step into Atticus Finch’s shoes without trying to imitate Gregory Peck- Which young actors could capture Scout’s innocence without losing her edge- The hardest role to cast—and the one we nailed instantly- And how a modern version of this story would hit differently in today’s worldThis isn’t just a recast… it’s a conversation about legacy, storytelling, and whether some roles are truly untouchable.Tap in, argue with us, and tell us who we got completely wrong.Because let’s be real… you will disagree with at least one pick.

2026 WWE Hall of Fame: Who’s In, Who’s OutThe Hall of Fame isn’t sacred… and we’re about to prove it.This time on Central Booking, we’re stepping into the role of WWE decision-makers to rebuild the 2026 Hall of Fame class from the ground up. Who deserves a spot? Who’s long overdue? And yeah… who are we taking OUT if we had the power to rewrite history? From legends that should’ve headlined years ago to controversial picks that never quite made sense, nothing is off limits. We’re debating, defending, and probably starting a few arguments along the way as we craft our own version of what the Hall of Fame should look like.Respect will be given… but it won’t be blind.

In this episode, chaos and questionable decision-making take center stage as the party’s misadventures escalate in classic fashion.Things kick off with a spectacularly clumsy moment when Flinth quite literally crashes the scene—falling directly onto Varulle and Drakhan in a pile-up that’s equal parts painful and hilarious. Whether it was poor footing or worse luck, the incident sets the tone: this is not going to be a smooth journey.Shaking off the impact (and their dignity), the group presses on, drawn deeper into the sewers by an eerie, echoing moan. What starts as curiosity quickly turns into tension, an oppressive and unsettling sound hints that something is very wrong beneath the city streets. That tension comes to a head when the party discovers a goblin trapped in a brutal torture device. What follows is less a heroic rescue and more a drawn-out moral debate. Can the goblin be trusted? Is freeing it the right thing to do—or a terrible mistake waiting to happen? As opinions clash, the group reveals more about themselves than they might expect, blurring the line between pragmatism and compassion. With physical comedy, creeping dread, and ethical dilemmas all in one session, this episode perfectly captures the unpredictable spirit of the party—and leaves listeners wondering whether their biggest threat is the dungeon… or their own decisions.MusicMichaelGhelfiStudios: The Sewers (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pv7sc85UZ-4)Travis Savoie: The Sewers (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0xQD4ZUnB5U)SenorMusica81: Cinematic Dark Ambient – Guarded Stillness (https://pixabay.com/music/ambient-cinematic-dark-ambient-guarded-stillness-475740/)Questions/Comments/Concerns : Please write to us at DoctorDeathhand@gmail.com
