In this segment, I ask more questions than I Offer advice, and but I’m talking through a proposal that I’ll be sending to Dr. Eric Thomas regarding a project he would like to implement at A Place Of Change (APOC) Ministry in Michigan.

Information should not be hoarded for the upper management or because you don’t want to burden your employees with “stuff” they don’t “need to know”. Communicating your promotions, open positions, where to find information, and the standard responses you want your employees to share will empower them and lend confidence that your business has a specific direction for growth. If you’re like most small business owners, you don’t make a habit of searching for your own products or services….unless you are checking to see if your business is still listed on Google. You’ve probably been doing your “job” for so long, it’s difficult for you to understand ALL the ways a potential new customer might want to engage with you or envision new ways to make it easier for existing customers to continue doing business with you. I mean, if it’s not broke, why fix it, right? WRONG! While you are “busy” servicing your current customers the same way you have for the past (fill in the blank) years, months, etc., your competitors are courting them with offers, faster service, extended hours….basically countless ways to get your customers to try their service for the first time. Meanwhile, you’re under the assumption that your customers will never leave and they don’t mind waiting for your schedule to open up….until that ONE time, you can’t meet their need and your customer has no choice but to engage with your competitors for the first time. This episode delves into why understanding YOUR CUSTOMER’s experience is so important and how ignoring it can cost you valuable customers.

When you focus your energy inward, to become the best possible version of yourself (at that moment in time), and you share insights about your journey with friends, colleagues, strangers….you might find yourself being an accidental inspiration. This is my first ever podcast. It’s not perfectly planned, the sound is less than great, and completely unedited. But it doesn’t need to be perfect to inspire others. Just do it.
