The part that we're fucking stupid enough to Start this horrible idea in the first place and then of course, create a mob out of this, which goes on today. And the fact that we can't do the math, that we all recognize the mob. Mob got its roots. It got its filthy, dirty La Cosa Nostra roots buried in our US soil because of prohibition. But yet we cannot do that same modern day math with marijuana or any of the other drugs. Well, we don't have Italian mobsters running around anymore. It's not the Godfather. We have Mexican mobsters cutting people's fucking heads off, putting them in duffel goddamn bags. We can't do the same Prohibition math that we did in the 20s and early 30s and apply to today and Mexico and all the fucking drugs and all the death and all the mayhem and again, all the money going to the guys you don't want to have any of the money, who are just going to buy more automatic rifles and pay off more city officials and cops. Because as they say, my friend, take the silver or take the lead. The Taboo 2 theme song. What? God damn it, Stall, Brian.

Yeah. And I've accepted in some ways that I just don't have that today. And that's, that doesn't really matter. I mean, when I, when I had two nights, it really just took me two nights sleep. And I thought, oh my God, wait a second, it was two nights sleep. And I read one book, I read this. I mean this is not a big deal book. It's the happiest toddler on the block. And basically the kids books or books about kids should all be called that's normal. What your kid's doing is normal. And the entire book was like, here's what 18 month olds do. They cry a lot because they can't express. And I thought, I thought he was crying a lot. And he would go on these for like a 10 day period. He would cry for 45 minutes straight. But he didn't have enough language to communicate what was wrong. And I couldn't comfort him. And it was the most devastating feeling. I just thought, I can't. This is going to be Forever. He's going to be going to his prom and sigh sobbing And I didn't. What I didn't realize was, no, this is actually a normal developmental phase. And I didn't have anyone in my life to really tell me that. I read a book and the whole book said every single thing that your child is doing is normal. And then I thought, oh my God, this is just a terrible, terrible twos. It starts at 18 months and good. Which I didn't know. And then it kind of gave me a few tips, which I applied. In a matter of days, those crying jags stopped and I took that week off. I spent. I got up with my boy, I spent time with him, I took walks with him, I looked at motorcycles and bicycles and trucks with him because that's all he wants to do. I put him to sleep at night. I spent, you know, and then by the end of that, because it was 10 days, because let's face it, I took off the Monday too. Cuz if you're going to take off that long, throw in Monday, you know what I mean? At the weekend, throw in Monday. No one's going to bug you when you say you have a family crisis because people don't want to know what it is.

Maybe we can start podcasting yours something. I don't know. We should talk about this because, you know, I think there's a new world order which is you do not have to be chained to the clock in the calendar anymore. You can have your kids and raise them too. You can sort of make your own schedule and have your own. Have flexibility and have the ability to be there for when you need to be there. And it's sort of, I guess it's sort of taking an extension of the computer and bringing it to your calendar and your life, which is to say, all right, people now understand. Hey man, I got a computer. I can work from home a couple days a week. I don't have to go into the real estate office or the fill in the blank office. I have a computer here. It's got all this stuff on it. I have a telephone. I can call my client. I can have my calls forwarded to my cell phone and sit here in a Starbucks in Toluca Lake and open my laptop and I'm getting my work done. We're not working in a salt mine. I'm not going to have to give a shovel. So there's that version of work and that I got a computer, I can work from home thing. It's starting to expand into more than I can do my work from home to. Let's really define work. When is work? Does it have to be as clearly defined? Does it have to be, you know, from 8am to 9, you know, 6pm Five days a week? Maybe I choose to do my thing in the evenings and spend the day with my kids. Or maybe I, I work on the weekends mainly. I do a ton of work. I do a ton of gigs, I do a ton of shows, riding with whatever, but I like a Monday off. Like I like a middle of the week. I love, you know, the idea of going out shopping when everyone else is at work or taking in a matinee when no one else is around, you know, so it's completely Been redefined. And I don't Even know if 10 years from now there will be a work week. I mean, there'll be a work week, but a cycle that's 9 to 5 and the freeways are crowded at this time. And so I would say for you, and life is about a. It's a big gin rummy game where you keep discarding things that aren't working for you and collecting things that are working for you. That maybe the next. The next step and the next evolution for Teresa Strasser is doing it on her own terms. Because obviously doing a morning show is a hell of a lot better than working retail, but there's still a notch above doing a morning show. Yeah.
