EPISODE 6 When everyone is picking out their word of the year, almost every person with ADHD will want to pick “Consistency” because we're just not so good at it! I challenged that belief and I don't quite subscribe to that anymore because it's not very realistic for me. In the previous episode, I talked about how inconsistency shows up for me, how it personally affects me and shared some ways on how we can shift the narratives. In this episode, I shared a little bit about how I do this with my business, why being persistent is more important than being consistent and some tangible tips to implement it in your business. EPISODE 5 Whether you are into business or not, you might have come across the phrase “Consistency is key.” In this episode, I talked about this uncommon opinion that I have about consistency. I also shared how inconsistency shows up for me, how it personally affects me, and some ways on how we can shift the narratives because speaking from my own experiences, consistency does come hard for people with ADHD for many reasons. EPISODE 3 Taking pride in something we're good at and something we're really interested in makes us want it to look the best. We may even have an image in our brain of what the best looks like. But sometimes, it's hard to live up to that image and we end up being a perfectionist. But perfectionism can really hold us back in our business and halt our progress and ability to put out awesome things into the world that can help people. For many years, I used to say that my “perfectionism was the death of me”, and without realizing it started killing my entrepreneurial spirit and almost even my business. In this episode, I share how perfectionism is something that ADHDers struggle with a lot, where it stems from, and 3 simple tips I discovered on how we can manage it. Disclaimer: I am not a mental health professional. I am not licensed or certified, but I'm just sharing my personal experience as someone diagnosed with ADHD.
