And if you can't pay attention, and you can't, most people are easy to beat because they're never really where they are. You're never present. One of the big reasons why I got triggered to change my life is because my wife had a hard conversation with me that I wasn't ever present at home. Which, to be honest with you, I learned later in life there's a difference between being at home and actually being present when you're there. I want to see who's the most coachable person in this room. I want to see who it is. I want to know. When I sat in your chair in 2019, in November, and I made a decision and I changed my whole life. You know the crazy thing about making a decision is God doesn't show you when you go to make a decision what your life looks like on the other side of that decision. You have to trust and have faith. You have to Understand those are 100 million dollar chairs. Hundred million you're sitting in them. And some of you take that lightly. You play casual with it. The reason why I get so passionate and pissed is because I know that chair, what it's worth now. Cause I'm living that life. And I didn't know it when I made that decision and I sat there. I had no brand. Nobody knew me. I had no business. Guys, I am a car salesman. Listen, at the bottom of the food chain, there's car salesmen and insurance salesmen. You guys know I'm good with it. My mom left when I was 2. My family's taught me to quit my whole life. My dad is a coward, He's a pushover. He never stood for anything. Listen, maybe you don't know who you want to be in this room, but maybe you know who you don't want to be, right? Do some of you know who you don't want to be? I heard Alex or Mosey say a focus fool can beat a distracted genius. I was a fool. I'm a car salesman. A lot of you are smarter than me. But I know how to learn. I fall in love with learning. I love it. Your mind. I need it. The next 50 minutes. I'm gonna change your whole life. Your life will never be the same again if it doesn't change your life. You didn't come here to change your life. You came here for some other reason. I wanna build the greatest leaders that have ever been built on planet Earth. I want you to become rich. I remember when I married my wife, I promised her the ride of a lifetime. So many men and women, we chase business, we end up destroying our families. Nobody teaches how to have it all. We're all one dimensional. We all are after this. But you got to sacrifice for what you want. Because if you don't sacrifice for what you want, for what you want becomes a sacrifice. Am I right? So you want money, but you burn your family to the ground. Or you're close to your wife, but you're not really there to take your son through boyhood to fatherhood. I'm not okay with that. My wife called me out. She is very direct. So today I want to ask for permission to be direct with you. Number one. Do you want me to feed you ice cream like 2, 3, 4, 5 year olds and make you feel good? Is this the feel good session? Or do you guys want the cold hard truth to be treated like the badass as you are? And I had an automotive company and I wanted to train my salespeople. So I recorded 10 videos of me teaching automotive salespeople how to overcome the prices too high. I want more for my trade. The payments too high. I need to think about it. I got a couple more cars to go look at. Just common objections. Does that make sense? I don't know anything about the Internet. The only thing that I know about the Internet is Internet leads. So we can make phone calls, MySpace, all the. I missed all that. I don't even know what that means. I'm 45 years old. I tell my wife I need to record these 10 videos and I need her to be able to make it to where my salespeople can watch them. We record the 10 videos, she puts them on YouTube. I don't know what YouTube is, but I train my sales team and I say, you just missed a sell because you couldn't overcome the prices too high. Go to YouTube, type in Andy Elliot, which was my name. How to overcome the prices too high. Pretty simple, right? That's where the story starts. I would go back to work for five years. Who in here. You're a little insecure when it comes to the camera. That's me. I am an introvert. I am not an extrovert. I don't like the camera. If you guys in here want to create influence, you're going to need to build a brand. Am I correct? Do you want to change people's lives. You can't do it without a brand. 2019. My wife, the second step here, says, andy, I'm looking into our old email and remember those videos we put out five years ago? Remember that? She goes, you're not gonna believe this. I don't even know what's going on. She starts showing me they have hundreds of thousands of views on them. She's like, you gotta check out these comments. You can only imagine. I hope you die. I hope you burn in a fire. Watch. Why is this guy's shirt so tight? And then. You changed my life. Watch. I almost killed myself. I watch these videos every morning. You saved my life. I hope you burn. I hope you die. I hope you die. I hope you die. I love watching your training. I don't quite know what to think of this, but. I've been hated on my whole life. I've been hated on my whole life. Can I ask you a question? Can you guys take the hate? Can you, can you? Listen, guys, you know, if no one's hating on you, you know you're not doing nothing, right? You guys know that, right? You guys know. You know, like when people change, when you change someone's life, you know, they live in the. In your DMs. They DM you. You change my life. I love you. I didn't believe that lives like this existed for people like us. And it does. And it is crazy. And it's not even that hard to get. But you got to run this play. So my wife, who's married, raise your hand. I married a Mexican. And so hot blooded, super direct. Like, no, she doesn't walk on eggshells around anybody. She tells you how she feels. A lot of guys wouldn't like that. My wife, when I married her, I was a project. She was a firecracker. I told her I was on my way home. She's heating up the food. I wasn't on my way. I was working a deal. Anybody ever been there? Hey, babe, I'm on my way. An hour later, you coming? Hey, babe, I'm on my way. Okay, heat the food up. Hour later. Hey, babe, I'm on my way. We're having the conversation tonight. Tonight's the night. I'm so glad she did that night. She would say something that would break my heart. It made me feel like I had let everyone down. My heart was ripped out as soon as I walk in the house. I have three beautiful kids. Jackie says, me and the kids have learned to live without you. We just do life without you, Andy. You're always at work. And then when you're here, you're here, but you're really at work. Your mind is always at work. I don't know why, but scarcity was beaten into me as a kid. Being one dimensional is what I see. All around the world. People don't believe they can get rich, stay in great shape, have a marriage that's on fire, be close to God, lead a big team, look in the mirror, be proud of themselves, be a great daddy. People don't believe that anymore. And my wife, that night, she was kind of drawing a hard line. What man am I going to get now? Are you going to go play the victim? Everything you want in life's on the other side of your ego. You guys know that, right? Was I going to play the victim, or was I going to reinvent my life? I went in the garage. Step two, I worked out for four hours. Like I was gonna walk in shredded. I was fat at the time. And Jackie was gonna say, oh, my God, I knew you were jacked. I forgot to miss. I left a little point out. So Jackie, when I met her, I was 26. She was 24. Was anybody in good shape when they were younger? But he's gotten older, just not as good a shape as you were when you were younger. That was kind of me, right? And so Jackie, the trigger expert, right, she says, andy, me and the kids have learned to live without you. I'm trying to understand this. And then, by the way, I said, babe, you don't understand. My mom left when I was two. I got five brothers and sisters. It's Jerry Springer. She goes, shut up. I'm so sick of your little victimhood, Mouth. If you are the man I thought you were when I married you, I know there's a man I haven't met yet, and I'm ready to meet him. No, she's not a biatch. And I don't want to say a cuss word. My wife is the person that loved me more than anyone else. If any of you in this room have someone that loves you so much, they're willing to tell you the truth, you're the luckiest person in the world. Luckiest person. So many of us right now, so many of us could be better in this room. Am I right? We could be so much better. But we don't have anyone telling us the truth. We don't have anyone pushing us. Guys, you should always have that person that's positively trying to peer pressure you to go to the next level in your life. That was this woman. And by the way, most people are like, again, like, I can't believe she would say that. Then my wife reached over and I'll move to the money part in a minute. But you got to understand, I had to get stirred up. I had to get pissed off. Jackie reaches over and grabs my love handle, and, dude, it felt like spiders were crawling up my back because I'm like, dude, what are you doing? And you know what I realized is that my wife knew the way that I take care of myself is how I take care of everything else in my life. And I wasn't being very good to me. Women, listen up. I watch you Slave over your kids like my wife did. I watch you give your husbands everything and you put yourself last. You can't change your family when you're empty. But when you take care of yourself and you put yourself first again, you build yourself a great man, you build yourself strong kids, you become the bloodline breaker in your family. As a female, I watch women build great men every day. A great woman will tell her man when he's slipping. And by the way, my wife always wanted us to grow together. She didn't want to be the queen, she wanted to be my battlemate. She wanted to go to war with me, she wanted to suffer with me. She didn't want to sit at home. She wanted to see me become great. There's this thing I see that happens to men in their 30s and 40s. Right around 40, there's that age where like, it's like the eagle, he's either gonna get another 40 years to live, he's gonna break his beak off, he's gonna go pluck his feathers out, he's gonna rip his talons out, and he's gonna go through the rebirth process and he gets another 40 years or he dies. And I needed this from her. Watch what happens, work out. Go back in the house. I tell Jackie, which right here says, oh, by the way, I shaved my head. You say, what good does that do? I just wanted to see a different person. Fast as I could. I shaved my head. Does anybody understand what babies search for? Motivation. I needed motivation. I go to the Internet. I've never been on the Internet. Boom. Truth. Bam. Jackie grabs my fat. Boom. Go into the garage, walk into the house, shave my head, straight to the computer. Never been on it. A YouTube video. Who's the YouTube video of? Tony Robbins? I start watching this YouTube video and guess what happens? Within minutes, I'm thinking different. Within minutes, I can see myself having a different life. This stuff ain't fake. This is real. For the first time in my life, I wanted to go be a different person. I forgot I sold cars. I forgot everything. My heart. I felt like just crying, bawling. I didn't know what to think. It was a 20 minute YouTube video. Then it turned off. I watched the next one as fast as I could because the time that it turned off to the next one, I would go back to my old self. And so I learned in that moment, my mind isn't my friend. It's never been my friend. I must. The greatest gift you can ever give yourself is spending time working on you. That is the greatest gift. And I started to spend time on me. Okay, has anybody ever seen his text community? Has anybody ever seen the Gary V. Text community? Text me? Yes. I'm an idiot. One day I'm watching Gary Vee. It's in early 2020 doing the Google thing. Hey, I'm shooting three long form YouTube videos every day, by the way. The only people that were liking them was my wife. Most of you quit. Oh, babe, I shot videos for two Months and no one knows us. Don't stop. Don't stop. It takes time. I go to Jackie and I go, babe, Gary Vee put his cell phone number on the Internet. Can you believe that? He didn't do. I didn't even know what a text community was. I thought it was his cell phone because I'm an idiot. Everybody, imperfect action beats perfect action every day.
