Andy Elliott
Hey guys, welcome to the Andy Elliott 1% podcast. Every single time, you know, we talk about sales leadership, we talk about entrepreneurship. Today, first time ever. I got some kick ass plastic surgeons here. And you're like, oh man, that's a little different. It's a curveball, dude. I'm going to tell you guys, I talk about fitness all the time. You know, I talk about. And it's funny, six pack of your fired mentality, right? Like your standards, you got to raise them every day. I've got a guy in my company and his name is Tony Gray. And we'll kind of show some before and after pictures. It's insane. When I met Tony, I love Tony. And Tony was like, dude, I want to change my life. I want to change other people's lives. He's a great guy, got a heart of gold. But for many years he worked in business, didn't take very good care of himself, ate like crap, worked hard. You know, a lot of guys try to be successful and then you end up looking in the mirror one day and you're like, damn, how did I get here? And he was about 200 pounds overweight. Now I told Tony, I said, dude, one day Tony, like, you're gonna look in the mirror and you're gonna be a totally different guy. Which Tony wants to do this. Like, he tells me, he's like, andy, I want to work for the Elliott Group and I hire Tony. And I hired Tony, 200 pounds overweight. Over the last year, Tony's lost all this weight. He's worked out, he's done the workout, he's eat, he's ate clean, he's totally recreated his life. But then he looked up and he's got all this extra skin and weight and you know what I'm saying? Yeah, he's like, gosh, man, what now? Well, so Rod and Ruse, we went and found, and I call him Dr. Ross. It's Roz, but Ruse, we found him in Scottsdale, Arizona. Unreal, these guys. Not only was the ratings the best, but after calling around, these guys are unreal. Everybody raves about them. They did Tony surgery. Unreal. Super happy. It's total. A totally new man. And I've also sent him a lot of other people along the way and they just blow everyone's mind with the results. So I just said, man, I'm going to introduce them to everybody. Everybody that I know a lot of you right now. I know a lot of guys that have lost, know 50 pounds, 60 pounds, 70 pounds. When you fluctuate all Those and, and mommy makeovers, especially for, like, women. And I'll let you guys get into that. But like, what all you guys do so everybody will know what you take care of. But, like, man, you know, it's like a mommy makeover. A woman in her 40s goes back to being 18 years old again.
Dr. Ruse
Yeah.
Andy Elliott
Like, totally crazy, right?
Dr. Ruse
Yeah. And. And part of the good things are, like, Tony's with you and like, you push them to be at this excellence level. And like, you know, you push and you push and you're like, not seeing results is where, like, we come in and we can help them out because you're like, you know, and that kind of, you know, I went through the yo yos. All of a sudden you don't see results. And like, I always had trouble, like, getting that edge on, like, the last five pounds. You're like, why am I not getting shredded? I'm putting all the effort in. My diet's on point. And like, you know, when you can do something about it. And some of these people, especially when you're losing that kind of weight, like with Tony, we removed over 20 pounds of fat and skin and, you know, it's tough for him to get around with that extra £20 every day. And just like, looking at himself in the mirror and he's not seeing the results. That skin's overhanging. He can't take his shirt off. Really. You know, a lot of people that we see, like, come in with Spanx, they got to wear Spanx every day to just keep everything together and then, you know, like, keep places dry. So, like, with removing some of the skin, it's not just like making them look better. It makes life easier for them to get around. And just activity wise, like, I think it helps in multiple different ways. And then you build your confidence and you become more active. And I see that in myself because I've gone yo yo up and down. I, you know, I. Did you get bodybuilding?
Dr. Rod
Weightlift.
Dr. Ruse
I played college football, and I went up to £320 in college. And then in med school, I was like, I can't look like this and try to tell my patients to be healthy and be good. So I, I went down and I was trying to almost get into all natural bodybuilding. I shredded all the way down to like 200, 190, 200. And then, you know, went through residency, like, gained some weight because training was pretty hard. But I lost that weight back towards the end of residency because I made it more spiritual about, like, just being in the gym and getting myself in shape. And same thing happened when I trained for plastics and then like became a father, just didn't, didn't care. And like, I was so busy running my own practice, I was like, I couldn't get in the gym and do, do stuff. And then you start gaining weight and you just don't care anymore. And I was just in a bad place and I was like, no, let's, you know, like, I started doing things, started getting myself back in shape and you know, that's, that's where, you know, I know what happens with these guys. I, I didn't have any surgery myself. I haven't really needed it. I do have some, some loose skin, but it's just loose skin. It's. I, I never let it get out of hand. But like for some people, you know, when you lose a lot of weight, there is that excess skin and to just get that extra edge. And I, I thought about, you know, getting liposuction and stuff to just tighten up the skin. Do I need it? I probably need a little bit and I'd probably go to my brother to do that.
Dr. Rod
But on yourself.
Dr. Ruse
But like, I, you know, I, I use some of the non invasive stuff that we have in our office to be able to, you know, get close to those results without needing to undergo surgery.
Andy Elliott
Hey guys, sorry to interrupt the podcast as you're hearing us talk about like, you know, guys, you know, they, they lose a lot of weight and they want to cut that skin off because they want to get that, you know, that perfect body and they got that loose skin. That can happen. You talk about, you know, from butts to boobs, all kinds of stuff. These guys, plastic surgeons, they take care of everything. A guy in my company that lost almost £200, Roz took care of him and. Unreal, just total satisfaction. And so these are my good buddies. Anybody that's a resource to me, I want to share them with everyone in the world. I'm telling you, you get one life, you got one body. And if you need help and you're looking for someone to take, to take you to the next level, I mean, like, you want to look in the mirror and be proud of yourself. Guys, there's going to be a link down in the description box below and that is where you can go and fill out basically two seconds of information and someone from the team will reach out to you in the next 24 hours and they'll kind of talk about what it is that you want to do. Okay. I love you guys. You know, looking in the mirror and liking who we see and being proud of ourselves is super important. A lot of you, this is the opportunity for you to be like, man, I've been waiting to do this. Okay, cool. These are great people. Let's go. So you guys can click on the link. Let's get back to the video. So, so what is everything that your, your office offers? If I'm. If just. Yeah, as an idea. If I'm watching this right now.
Dr. Ruse
Yeah.
Andy Elliott
I've seen everything that you guys have been able to do. One of my guys. The needling. Right. Or whatever that is where you tighten the skin.
Dr. Ruse
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. The. With the Renuvian. Yeah, yeah. That's pretty.
Andy Elliott
That's pretty cool. I don't think. Yeah, people know about that. You don't have to actually undergo a knife.
Dr. Ruse
Yeah, yeah. So for, for a good amount of people, like, for someone like myself, that would be a good option for me. You know, when you, when you lose weight, but you know, it's not like the 2,300 pound weight loss where your skin's been stretched out. Yeah. You don't have the stretch marks. You still have good skin quality. We can do liposuction to sculpt everything and then use the Renuvian, which is radio frequency and helium together. So that creates an energy that we place under the skin and it'll tighten the skin. You'll build your own collagen up and it'll tighten the ligaments.
Dr. Rod
Yeah, yeah. Because you're, you're over time, you naturally lose the elasticity of your skin. So, like, the younger you are, the quicker the skin will bounce back. Like if you're in your 50s, you would definitely need something like that because you can't just decrease the volume with overhanging skin and have a really good result.
Dr. Ruse
So that's especially. The love handles are a problem issue because it's part of your back, but the skin's not the same. The skin's very thin, so that gets stretched out and it gets stretch marks when you gain quite a bit of weight. So it's an excellent area to treat with that. But you can treat anywhere in the body with that. So you get liposuction, you get Renuvian. So that's more for, you know, you got to have the appropriate skin quality to get that done.
Andy Elliott
Yeah, I love that. I've seen that. Yeah, it, it literally takes and makes it like shrink.
Dr. Ruse
Yeah, it's almost like shrink wrapping.
Dr. Rod
Yeah, it's like shrink wrecking.
Dr. Ruse
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Andy Elliott
It's amazing.
Dr. Rod
It's like the vacuum seal pack.
Andy Elliott
Yeah. And then the skin's tight. It's like going back 20 years, 25 years in age.
Dr. Ruse
Yeah.
Andy Elliott
So let's talk about everything that you guys do. I know you do. Obviously. I have a lot of guys. Big male channel.
Dr. Ruse
Yeah.
Andy Elliott
Has lost a lot of weight.
Dr. Ruse
Yeah.
Andy Elliott
So males, you could help them cut. I'm gonna say, like, if they've lost a lot.
Dr. Ruse
Yeah, yeah.
Andy Elliott
You know, do kind of like, what is that?
Dr. Rod
So, so if various people have different problem areas and parts that like bother them, they can have loose skin or something in certain areas and it doesn't bother them. So I always say if it doesn't bother you, you don't need surgery. But common areas after weight loss. Breasts, belly, thighs and arms. Yeah, that, that breaks down. Even females, it's going to be those same areas after weight loss. And you do some people want like a facelift or neck lift because you have a lot of loose tissue there that sums up like the weight loss. We also do a lot of procedures for females, like mommy makeovers. That just means belly and breast again, body contouring, arms, legs, and then the facial stuff mostly like neck lifts, facelifts and like nose jobs. Rhinoplasties.
Dr. Ruse
Yeah. Yes. We do the whole gamut as well as do some pretty complex reconstructive surgeries for breast cancer patients. So. But yeah, like for guys, I've pretty much operated on guys all week. Tomorrow is my breast day, but the entire week's just been guys. So like on Monday we get a lot of patients with gynecomastia or, you know, man boobs and, you know, increasing like. Yeah.
Dr. Rod
Crazy with the amount of those procedures. That's what I did today.
Dr. Ruse
Yeah. Part of it's, you know, diet, part of it, you know, hormonal changes and for some people, recreational drugs or some medications that they're on could cause it. And they built some excess breast tissue. And what we can do for that, people with smaller sized breast tissue, we can usually do some liposuction and then remove it through small incisions where you can barely tell anything's been done there. And that was my. Actually I did it Monday, Tuesday and today. And then the high definition sculpting, you know, giving people the six packs, like probably going to get a lot of people that work for you coming for. For that six pack or you're fired situation. So. So yeah, doing the high definition lipo. And we, we use special techniques like the vaser, which allows us to get much Higher definition with doing the six packs. You know, I don't like doing the, the fake look because you can even add some of the fat to make the muscles look even bigger in some of the patients to give them the fake looking abs. But I, I don't know how long that's going to last because you know, as you and your people work out pretty hard, so that's probably going to go away.
Andy Elliott
Yeah. I know a bunch of men that honestly lost their edge. They were busy, they got caught up in work and then they got pissed off and they went and got in great shape.
Dr. Ruse
Yeah.
Andy Elliott
And they're left with all this excess skin now.
Dr. Ruse
Yeah.
Andy Elliott
And like you said, they look in the mirror and they're like, I don't like this.
Dr. Ruse
Yep.
Andy Elliott
You guys can clear all that out.
Dr. Ruse
Yeah, yeah.
Andy Elliott
Their wives, everybody here, you know, most of men are in a relationship, they got a wife, women have kids, their body goes through lots of changes. Belly, all that stuff when they're done having kids. A mommy makeover is like a must have almost for like every mom.
Dr. Rod
Yeah. I mean a lot of people, I mean there's some people that get down to like pre pregnancy weight. But still, even those patients, your six pack muscles split in the middle with any type of pregnancy and hormonal changes. But it has such a drastic effect. Even like that one patient posted this week and she was saying how much it affected her, just her belly affected her confidence. And now after, after a tummy tuck she's just like, they're like, they look.
Andy Elliott
Like they're 18 years old again.
Dr. Ruse
Yeah.
Dr. Rod
And it's just getting the proportions right.
Andy Elliott
Like I mean if you take a 40 year old woman that has three kids, just give me example. And she's a great mom, she loves her kids. You as a man, you got to give your wife her confidence.
Dr. Ruse
Yeah.
Andy Elliott
You know, I mean the bedroom going to suffer.
Dr. Ruse
Yeah.
Andy Elliott
Right. If she doesn't feel sexy.
Dr. Rod
Right.
Andy Elliott
I mean it's. You're not going to have sex.
Dr. Ruse
Yeah.
Andy Elliott
Okay. Secondly, you want her to go back to be young and live the next 40 years of her life with lots of confidence and energy, love.
Dr. Ruse
And you'll get yelled at less too seriously.
Dr. Rod
And like what he was kind of talking about with like the conf. Not just looking better, getting the confidence back, living healthier. Like all those things keep compounding. So it's like a flywheel. So it has a really positive effect. Yeah, exactly. Happy and healthy.
Andy Elliott
You know, you get dressed in the morning, look at yourself, man. I mean look, as we get older, there's nothing we can do. You can't go back to being young. We go through mistakes. We don't take care of our bodies. And then it seems like. Especially, you know, talking about older. Right. You look in the mirror one day and you're just like, I wanna. I wanna feel young again. Yeah. I wanna look good again. You know? And some of us, you know, we've taken care of ourselves for our whole life, but most of us haven't. Yeah.
Dr. Ruse
Yeah.
Andy Elliott
You know what I'm saying? And it's cool to literally have a plastic surgeon that can literally take care of that and walk in one day, walk out the next, 30 to 60 days later. You're sitting there looking at yourself and you're like, this is crazy. I've never. And by the way, women have better bodies after they have their babies than before they had them. I mean, it. I see it all the time. Yeah. I mean, like, like, like women's bodies, they. They get curvier. They. Yeah, they get taken care of in these mommy makeovers. Pulling that stomach down, tighten them up, give them some boobs. It's like, dude, they're like a brand new freaking.
Dr. Ruse
Yeah, yeah.
Dr. Rod
You get. Again, it's like getting the proportions right. So it's like, instead of having like a square build, like, we're talking about breasts, tummy, buttocks. And it's not just from the front view. Like, you have to analyze all the views. Like from the side. Yeah. Oblique, like from, from the angle. So all those we put into consideration when we're coming up with an operative plan. And it's, it's just, it is amazing results. Like, this is the best part of our job. Like, seeing the results and seeing it.
Dr. Ruse
Yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah. And that's, you know, like, you kind of get away from that and like, you know, you don't, because everyone thinks you're in it for the money or, you know, but they don't. Or you like boobs. And it's like, it's not what I got into this profession for. You know, I got in it to do, you know, cleft lip and palates and change people's lives. And that's, that's what we're here to do. It's like, to change people's lives and, like, to make them happy and make them feel like themselves and confident and be able to go about. And we, we do this on, like, people that are fit and. Or close to fit. We really don't want to operate on people that, you know, they don't really care about themselves. And I spend quite a bit of time when I do consultations with my patients about like getting them to that point where they're feeling confident themselves. They're doing pretty much everything. But there's, you know, this last hurdle. They. Yeah. Or they'll go over or if they.
Dr. Rod
Come in, like, that's why we. He was adamant about pushing the wellness side of things because some patients, like, you know what? Liposuction is not the answer for you. We can't do £20, £50 of liposuction. Why don't we help you get your weight down? We have these options.
Andy Elliott
Talk about that for a minute. Let's, let's finish with that part. If so, you help people lose a lot of weight too.
Dr. Ruse
Yeah.
Andy Elliott
Is that right?
Dr. Rod
Yes.
Andy Elliott
Okay, let's talk about that.
Dr. Rod
So it's different, different things. We use injectable meds like Ozempics, hot semiglutide, Tirzepatide or Manjaro. Those are like your injectable options. But we always talk about like proper supplementation because you don't want to lose, like you don't want to lose good weight, you want to lose the bad weight. And so focus on that. So there's proper supplementation, diet counseling.
Dr. Ruse
Yeah. And we, we appropriately measure their body composition when they come in. So they're not just, you know, we don't want to just be giving them this medication and they're living a sedentary lifestyle, not doing the diet and losing weight. Or like some people don't lose weight and they wonder why. You know, you can kind of put them on the scale and tell them, you know, some people might be gaining muscle and they don't know it and they, they're like, oh, my jeans are a little looser. But like our main goal is to get them to that healthier stage. And we have injectables and like it doesn't have to be the Ozempic or whatever you're on. Although I think it is a very helpful medication to not just lose weight for overall anti aging because it's going to control inflammation and, and overall, like for your vascular health, your cardiac health, it's being studied for multiple different things that it's being kind of helpful.
Dr. Rod
So yeah, like reduce your heart attack risk, stroke risk. These are leading causes of death in the US that people aren't really seeing how effective these medications are in the long run. Like we'll see in like the next 10, 20 years how really effective changes in like average life expectancy in the US Obesity numbers. Also, a lot of cancers are associated with higher bmi. So, like, if your BMI is really high, your hormones are different, your body's balance is off. So if you're carrying all that extra weight, you have a higher risk of developing certain cancers, too.
Dr. Ruse
So, yeah, the fat cells carry a lot of stuff that you don't like. And especially for men, you're going to carry more estrogen the more fat cells you have. So, you know, that's just going to put you in the wrong place. Your sex drive is going to be down. So I. I was like, I have to find a place to make these people healthy. And I needed a way to get them there instead of being like, no, go lose weight. Go lose 20 pounds, and then I'll operate on you. But let's. Let's find a way to get you healthy, and then you can have surgery if you need it. But if you get healthy enough and your skin looks great and you build your confidence and get more active, maybe don't need surgery. Yeah.
Dr. Rod
So we've had a couple patients, like, even within nine months, where they originally came in for lipos. Not only you saved money, you're healthier now. And. And, like, everything set right. And you. You skipped a procedure.
Dr. Ruse
For me being on, you know, I. I take tirzepatide myself, which is Mounjaro. I used to. You know, my wife would ask me for something, and when I was overweight, I'd sit on the couch and not want to get up. You know, I'd be like, God damn it. But I'd get up. You know, now it's like, before she can say it, I get up and go and do it. And one. One of the main things was, like, when I had my son, I was like, I gotta get more active. I'm like, otherwise I'm not gonna be able to do anything with him. So that. That was another driving force to be at the top of the game and try to, you know, improve my health and wellness, which overall, like, I. I pretty much try everything before I give it to my patients. And I do a lot of studies on the weekends, whenever it is. I'm, like, teaching myself about all these supplements and all these peptides.
Dr. Rod
He's been a great resource for me.
Andy Elliott
Because I'm just like, he researches the hell out of it.
Dr. Rod
Oh, yeah. Like, even going to conferences. I'm, like, listening to people talk. I'm like, oh, Ruse knows more than this. Why am I wasting my time at this conference? So just, like, text him, like, hey, what do you think about this? Because I know he's not, if he's mentioned it, it's not like he just saw it in an article or something. It's like in depth, like deep dive. So like anything we, we provide and.
Andy Elliott
Stuff, it's got strong everything about it.
Dr. Ruse
Yeah.
Dr. Rod
And even stuff we've added in the clinic for like pre post op care, patient wellness, like whole body vibration, hyperbarics therapy. Like, because he's brought it up, he's like, I want to get this for the office. I know right away that he wants it for himself.
Dr. Ruse
Yeah.
Dr. Rod
And then I just dive deep into the research side, like all the medical peer reviewed journals and be like, you know what, none of it has like definitive data behind it, but like you can just tell like, okay, this works. And then like we start using it. Like we're getting much better results, happier patients, faster recovery. Like the recovery again is, is really good right now. So all that stuff is adding and, and Tony can attest to it. He's been, he's been a machine. He's been on top of everything. Yeah. So he, that's part of the reason his results are like gonna be really good too.
Andy Elliott
Just following the plan. Yeah, he's following the play. Yeah. Guys, if you're watching this right now and you know everybody needs someone in their Rolodex, right. That handles everything in this world because one day you're gonna need it. One day you're gonna be talking to your aunt and she's gonna be like, I'm going to do this thing. And you're like, hey man, I know a really good plastic, plastic surgeon. Okay, boom, there you go. You've got that you know somebody. And like I said, I've seen what they've done with Tony. Unreal. Every person I've sent to them, unreal. And they're just awesome. I mean, there's, there's four brothers. I mean, you know, and I know three of you together and one's like a neuroscience or something. Surgeon or neurosurgeon. Yeah, yeah, you guys are, are all into this and they, and they love it. And I just, I wanted to introduce them to you. And you guys are going to see him a lot. I told him, I was like, hey man, we need to do another hour podcast and really break into your story how you guys got into this. And there's three of them. They're all out here in Scottsdale. People fly in from all around the country. They know the play, they handle everything. It's very simple. The last thing you want to do is go to Google and look up someone who does this stuff. When you want to get one of these things done, you want to find someone who will refer you to somebody who does a great job. You want to get it done right. You need to be happy for the rest of your life. And so I'm introducing you to my good friends Ruse and Rod. And all you have to do is there's going to be a description box down. It's like a little link in this. In this YouTube video. Just go down to the bottom. Basically, just fill out your information, and then someone will reach out from their team in the next 24 hours, tell them what you want to do, and I promise you, their work is insane. And your suit, you guys are really affordable. I mean, I checked out different stuff, and, you know, you guys aren't very expensive. I mean, to me personally, like, you know, we.
Dr. Ruse
We don't. We try not to be, like, overly, like, crazy with the stuff, you know, and try to make it, you know, affordable for whoever's coming through the doors. We're. We're also not a chop shop, and there's a service we try to provide, so, you know.
Andy Elliott
Yeah, yeah, no, I got you. Listen, you pay for what you get. Yeah, dude, I've seen people before, and I'm like, dude, I wouldn't. I mean, like, I can't believe that. You know what I'm saying? And they're like, yeah, but, you know, it was. You know, it was. It was 3, 500 over here. It was 55.
Dr. Ruse
Yeah, we got a lot of patience from Mexico and stuff, you know, and, like, you know, they. You know, then they got to go through multiple surgeries to get stuff fixed.
Andy Elliott
Yeah, dude, you don't want to play with that crap. Yeah, look, you want it one and done, you know what I'm saying? Guys, they're really good friends of mine. I want to introduce them to you guys. You'll see them a lot with me. They're amazing. You know, I live in Scottsdale. They live right down the road. But they took care of Tony Gray, and, you know, that's a big deal to me. And, you know, he worked really hard, and he said when he got to a certain point, he was going to have that surgery, and they did it for him, and he's super happy. And, you know, he's excited now to take his shirt off, run around, just be a man again and do his thing. You know, those are things that, you know, two years ago, he didn't Think were in. In the future for him.
Dr. Ruse
Yeah. Yeah. New goals for Tony. Tony's gonna. Yeah, yeah. He's just gonna continue improving.
Andy Elliott
He's ready, dude. He's. He's ready. So maybe that's you. Maybe this is a good one for your wife. Whatever it is, just go down to the description box. You guys can fill that out. They'll. They'll get in touch with you the next 24 hours. Love you guys, man.
Dr. Ruse
Bruce, good seeing you.
Andy Elliott
Appreciate you, man. Seriously.
Dr. Rod
Thank you, guys.
Andy Elliott
Seriously, man, your Rolodex is so important. You got it. You got to know people. You want to know the best at what they do, and the last thing you want to do is ever resort to Google, you know what I'm saying? Like, hey, man, I need to get some plastic surgery done. You go to Google and start trying to figure it out. No, you don't want to do that. This is your body. You got one. You're going to have it till you die. They're the best. So love you guys. Down below. There's a description box on this YouTube video. There's a link. It says, coach with me, one on one. Okay? Release Date: March 4, 2025
In this compelling episode of Andy Elliott's Elite Mindset Motivation and Sales Training, host Andy Elliott delves into the transformative journey of Tony Gray, a dedicated member who successfully shed 200 pounds. Joined by esteemed plastic surgeons Dr. Rod and Dr. Ruse from Scottsdale, Arizona, the discussion navigates the intersection of extreme weight loss, surgical intervention, and overall wellness. This episode not only highlights Tony's remarkable transformation but also explores the critical role of plastic surgery in enhancing the quality of life post-weight loss.
Andy Elliott opens the conversation by sharing the inspiring story of Tony Gray, a valued member of his company who embarked on a life-changing weight loss journey.
Tony's commitment led him to lose 200 pounds through disciplined workouts and a clean diet. However, this significant weight loss resulted in excess skin, posing both physical and psychological challenges.
Recognizing the hurdles faced by Tony, Andy introduces Dr. Rod and Dr. Ruse, plastic surgeons renowned for their expertise in body contouring and skin tightening.
The surgeons emphasize that excess skin isn't merely a cosmetic concern but can impede daily activities and diminish self-confidence. Their intervention was pivotal in redefining Tony's physique and boosting his self-esteem.
Dr. Ruse and Dr. Rod elaborate on the sophisticated techniques employed to address post-weight loss transformations:
Renuvian Technology: A non-invasive method combining radiofrequency and helium to tighten skin and stimulate collagen production.
Liposuction and High-Definition Sculpting: Utilizing the Vaser method to achieve precise muscle definition without the artificial appearance.
The surgeons also discuss comprehensive procedures like mommy makeovers, which address various post-pregnancy body changes, and gynecomastia treatment in men.
The conversation shifts to the broader implications of weight loss on health and wellness. Dr. Rod highlights the interconnectedness of surgical outcomes with overall health:
Dr. Ruse underscores the importance of a balanced approach, combining surgery with proper supplementation, diet counseling, and physical activity to ensure sustainable health improvements.
Addressing the use of weight loss medications, the surgeons discuss their dual benefits beyond mere weight reduction. Medications like Tirzepatide (Mounjaro) and Ozempic not only facilitate weight loss but also offer anti-inflammatory and cardiovascular health benefits.
"[18:40] Dr. Ruse: ...Ozempic is very helpful not just for weight loss but for overall anti-aging and vascular health."
"[19:16] Dr. Rod: ...Reducing BMI lowers the risk of several cancers and cardiovascular diseases."
They advocate for a medically supervised approach to weight loss, ensuring that patients lose fat rather than muscle mass and maintain overall health.
Andy stresses the importance of choosing reputable plastic surgeons over pursuing cheaper, often substandard options abroad.
Dr. Ruse and Dr. Rod concur, advising listeners to seek trusted professionals who prioritize patient outcomes over cost-cutting measures.
They highlight the risks associated with low-cost surgeries, such as multiple procedures and subpar results, advocating for investing in quality care for lasting satisfaction.
Andy concludes the episode by passionately endorsing Dr. Rod and Dr. Ruse's services, inviting listeners to connect with them for transformative surgical procedures.
He emphasizes the accessibility and affordability of their services, providing a link in the description for listeners to reach out and begin their own transformation journeys.
"[00:28] Andy Elliott: ...Tony was like, dude, I want to change my life. I want to change other people's lives."
"[07:24] Andy Elliott: That's pretty cool. I don't think people know about that. You don't have to actually undergo a knife."
"[14:14] Andy Elliott: ...we can't go back to being young, but we can feel young again."
"[19:16] Dr. Ruse: Fat cells carry a lot of stuff that you don't like. Especially for men, more fat means more estrogen, lowering your sex drive."
"[25:36] Andy Elliott: ...their work is insane. And your suite, you guys are really affordable."
