Hey, guys. Andy Elliott. I'm here today with my boy Shane. Shane is an animal. He is a huge leader in priority roofing and he's in the roofing industry and he wasn't always in the roofing. Roofing industry, which we'll get into. It's so crazy how the greatest opportunity in your life is never what you thought it was going to be. You know, I guarantee when he got out of high school, you're like, you didn't know you end up here and roofing, you didn't know that that was going to be your way out. And I didn't know it was going to be my way out what I'm doing now either. And I bet you wherever you're at right now, that's not your way out either. Okay, So I want you to listen up and me and Shane are going to give this going to be a value added video, which means we're going to talk about some things you need to do, some things that Shane did that really catapulted his life forward. And then some things you don't need to do. Some traps you need to look out for in life because, you know, that's one of the things that allow you to not make the mistakes and not get set back five, 10 years, which, you know, so we're gonna really run both spectrums. And Shane, I appreciate you being here today. You know, I love family men. He's like, dude, I hate being away from my family. He's out here with me in Scottsdale right now and he's like, I'm ready to get back home. I'm ready to go home to Florida. He lives in a beautiful place. They're close to the beach. He runs a really big team. How many guys you have on our team right now?
A
We have 27.
B
27. He's looking to build his team to 50, 60, so he's looking to double his team. And so as we go through this video multiple times, I'll say, hey, if you want to join Shane, Shane's team, you guys can text the number below. You know, boom, you move out to Florida, boom, you're with this team, boom, you're making good money. And then you just totally recreate and change your life, which is what this man did in this company prior to roofing, which is his division that he runs in Florida. And so but you went in through sales and now you run the division and now you, you're doing your thing and you guys can do all do the same thing, but whether you do that or whether you just watch this to change your life, you're going to get both. So I was asking Shane and I'm going to pick it from here. I was asking Shane, I was like, let's go to boys or girls. Your kids, are they boys or girls?
A
Yeah, I have two boys and two girls.
B
Okay.
A
Girl, boy, Girl, boy.
B
Okay, awesome. Okay. So I, I said to Shane before, and so like, I really want you to pretend that there's no cameras on here. There's nothing, you know, it's just, it's just you and your son and like, you know, you got it, you got a month to live, you're on your way out and you're like, dude, I gotta make sure my son like understands, right? Like this world's crazy. What are some things that you would say that you did, right? And you want to, you want to pass this on to him that you did that really helped change your life. Like helped set you up on the good path, right? The path that you're happy with now you love who you are, now you love your life, you're on the right road. What are some things that you did that really helped you? What would you say to your son? Hey, these are some things that I would highly recommend that you need to stick to, some things that you need to do, some things that you need to go for. These are, this is life changing advice. What would they be? Just whatever's on your heart.
A
I would say the first most important thing would be, is to find the right, find the right wife. You know, having that, having that person with you through life helps you out tremendously.
B
Dude, that is massive talk, talk about that for a minute, right?
A
For me, that's the, the best thing that I've ever, that's ever happened to me was I found the right one. And it's kind of crazy how we, how we got together and how things worked out. But you know, she's helped me through a lot of this. A very good, supportive wife. You know, had she not supported me because I had to move, you know, from Gatesville, Texas to Dallas, Texas to start selling and had she not supported me in that move, it would have never happened. So she's always been super supportive and has always had my back and all things she actually sells for us as well.
B
That's amazing. I always say this and if you'll hear in the beginning you said it's a pretty crazy story. Well, everything that's super cool in life is always crazy in the beginning. Most people think that the greatest things in life are going to be really easy. They're not easy. They're things you got to fight for.
A
100 yeah.
B
And God will only give you what you're willing to fight for. So your marriage is everything because you fight like hell for it.
A
Right? 100 it's not an easy thing to do.
B
100 no. No. And, and I love what you said is that she supported you. Beside every great man is a really awesome woman. It's very rare to see a great man without a great woman. If you do see a great man without a great woman, normally he'll give it all back over time because he'll become ungrounded, lose himself, not have the support. I always say there's two things that will ruin a man's life. Not having a brotherhood, not having the right men in his life. And then also not having the right woman. And you started out step one. So you say find son. Find someone that you're going to run with your whole life. 100 make a good choice. Okay. What would be another thing? Something that really helped you change your life. A good decision you made.
A
One of the best decisions I made, you know, was going from working in a maximum security penitentiary was taking an opportunity in sales.
B
How long did you work in a penitentiary for?
A
All together it was about 12 years.
B
Okay. What did you do in a penitentiary for 12 years? Because you weren't selling anyone. I mean you're probably selling situations all the time. Right? Some people. Put down that knife. Hey, do this. You know, I'm just kidding. But like I got that. So what is that life? Like in a one minute conversation, what does that look like?
A
Where you worked you basically maintain control of the offenders. You make sure you keep the population safe and make sure they're not hurting each other. And, and also making sure that, you know, they're where they're supposed to be and not outside. You know, so basically maintaining security throughout the whole part. Part of it.
B
Okay. And you did that for 12 years?
A
12 years.
B
And then how old were you when you made that shift?
A
I was about 31.
B
Okay. So 31 years. And how did you go from doing this? Because you have a salary job, right? I'm guessing you have security. Which means like, you know, you can count on this money coming every month. And we know in sales, you know that that's, that's not that life. Right? You know what I'm saying? We start over at zero at the beginning of every month. Right? But you got this guarantee in the penitentiary. You probably got benefits. You got all These things. So I already know what the conversation looks like because I've had a billion of them. When you're trying to explain sales to someone, why did you move from being guaranteed to an industry with no guarantee?
A
It would have to be our owner. It'd be Will Miller.
B
Okay, tell me about that for a minute. So he said the organization himself is owned by a man named Will Miller. And he said that this man was the reason why he made the move. This is why it's so important to find the right leader in your life. I tell people all the time, I was like, dude, it has nothing to do the job, has nothing to do with the industry, has to do with the owner that's in that organization. What are his standards, his beliefs? Okay, tell me about Will. Tell me like what, like what made you like, say, okay, something that would never be an option, like this is an option now, right?
A
Well, one, one, he, he's a God fearing man. He loves the Lord, you know, and that's important in a leader. You know, I would say we had the conversation because at first when he talked about southern roofs, it's like, like, how do you sell a roof? I know every house has one, but how do you go about that? Is this for real? Is this real money? And I remember him telling me that, hey, look man, if you, come on, you give this an opportunity and you give me 40 hours a week and you can, and however you make those 40 hours, you give me 110%. If you don't make six figures, I'll write you a check for the difference. And right then, just looking at him and talking to him, I felt the honesty, I felt the truth in that. And that's pretty much what led me to my next conversation with my wife, which, like, I believe in this and you know, I'll bet on myself and with the right leadership, you know, I'll.
B
Run through walls for, for somebody that's amazing. Hey guys, sorry to interrupt the video. As you're hearing me and Shane talk about number one, like being a great leader, you know, having this level 10 earning opportunity, also being with a great organization, which is really rare, something that you can grow with. Big picture, what I've learned is a lot of people have, but big picture, they're going to have that same job for 20 years. They're never going to grow to anything special. They're never going to be able to be a leader, build a team, take equity in anything. I mean really build anything. Great. And you did it. And your company stands for stuff like that, and I love that. And if you come in, you work hard, big picture is you can do whatever you want. And that's amazing. That opportunity doesn't exist anywhere around the world. And then even coming in, it's like becoming great. You can earn really good money right out the gate as long as you work hard, which is what you have to do in any job. As you hear me and Shane talking, if you're like, man, dude, I wish I had a leader like that. I wish I had an opportunity like that. I want you guys to text this number below. This is Shane's personal number. It's very simple. Shane's like, man, look, if somebody wants to step up and they want to change their life, I'm looking to build my team. He lives in a beautiful place, Lakeland, Florida. It's gorgeous. That's where you'd be maybe today. I would say there's the day you're born, the day you die, and the day your life changes forever. Maybe today's the day that this is your calling, your opportunity to step up. I want you guys to text Shane, Just say, hey, I saw you on Andy's podcast. You know, I would love to talk about this opportunity. He'll jump on the phone with you. You guys take it from there. I love you guys. Let's get back to the video. I always say people will work for a manager or a boss for a paycheck, but they'll work for a leader, a good coach for blood, sweat and tears.
A
100.
B
You know what I'm saying? And so that. That. So. So what happened that first year?
A
Yeah, so my first year, I did my first year, I went in there, I worked.
B
I probably worked about six years ago, right?
A
Yeah, I probably, man. I probably, you know, I shot myself on the foot because I'd make a lot of money and I got complacent, you know, and I would take a little bit of time off, but I still was able to make about 97. 96.
B
You made right at your.
A
Yeah, 97. $98,000 is what.
B
So you made your first six figure, right? Let me ask you a question. When people come and they work for you, what, What. What. What can a guy earn selling for you? Quarter million. What can you earn?
A
We've had. We've had people in our company make about as sales, just in residential, over $400,000. Said, you know, she set the bar on the company.
B
Okay.
A
We have someone projected to do better than that this year, you know, so. Okay, you could earn like, I like to tell people and is you can. There's no lift bar as high as you want.
B
Yes.
A
You just gotta be willing to grind to get there.
B
Okay, so everybody watching this right now. This is a level 10 earning opportunity. It's unreal. No degree needed. Right. Don't have to be in sales 12 years running in a penitentiary. You know, no sales experience. You know, just went out, became a good man and worked as 40 hours a week, gave 110%. And there you go. If that's you, if you're watching this man, I'm telling you, you guys need a text and reach out to him right now, and you'll see his number on the screen. But you guys need to text him, reach out to me to set up a call with him. He'd love to have you on his team.
A
One more thing to add into that.
B
Yes, sir.
A
Is not only can you set your financial bar as high as you want to the opportunity for growth within priority, there's opportunities as well. So you could actually come in and not just be a salesperson your entire career. You actually have the opportunity to grow into leadership positions. And will offers that opportunity to everybody. You can even run your own location. So growth is there as well.
B
Yeah. I've kind of seen this. Now, you guys are. You're in 16, 18 states right now. Right. I mean, I know you're in Florida specifically.
A
We should have 18 locations in 2025.
B
Okay. Yeah. And people come in, they sell, they produce, they kick butt. After you've proved you can kick butt, you know, then you can move up into leadership. And then at that point when you do well and you prove that you're a leader, you can even go and run your own market anywhere you want.
A
Yep. As long as there's a good hail date, good storms, and.
B
Yeah, I mean, you find this. I think, I think, I think if there's data that shows what are the best places to go. Right. You know, because you don't want to be like, oh, I want to be in Hawaii. And you're like, dude, roofs in Hawaii aren't the best place.
A
Right.
B
Like, you might want to pinpoint, like, what are those key locations.
A
Right. You want to make money, be able to build.
B
That's right. Yeah. And then, you know, you guys are pretty aware where those places are to go. You know what I mean? And then you make a shift because you went there because you. You guys knew that was going to be a gold mine.
A
Right.
B
And then. So that's why you're figuring it out.
A
Yeah.
B
And. But you knew that, that like there was some data that shows that like this is a great place.
A
Yes.
B
You know what I mean? And then now you're there building your life. You know, let's give one more, one more piece of advice, something that you would say, and then we'll go to some things we don't want to do, some things that may be some mistakes you've made, things you've learned. What would be another deal, son? You know, I would recommend, you know, stay close to these kind of people. Maybe, you know, I know you talked about God, you know, maybe, maybe a few things just rip off your tongue that you would say some things that also really helped shape your life, you know, not only financially, but just as a, as a man of excellence.
A
Yeah. One of the things is I am, I am a Christian, I do love the Lord. And I would tell my son to surround himself by like minded people, you know, and you know, another thing would be, is to always grind, work hard, be an honest man, and if you say something, do it, you know, and follow through.
B
It's very rare nowadays.
A
It is, 100%. Yep.
B
Yeah, yeah. People to say something and then do it. That's pretty rare.
A
It is.
B
And then he said, surround yourself with like minded people. That means that, you know, if the devil was going to take you out, he would probably put you around bad influence, you know what I'm saying? He'd probably not put you around some good Christians. He'd probably not put you around other people that work hard. He'd probably put you around lazy people, toxic people, negative people. And then you would just take yourself out by proximity. So you'd say in proximity, find the right circle, find the right people. And you know, I think every year always add another good man or two.
A
To your life, 100%.
B
Because I think you said something about don't get comfortable.
A
Yeah, don't get comfortable, don't get complacent.
B
Yeah. So talk about that. Especially in, in, in sales or any industry, what you see like people get comfortable and then all of a sudden they just wither away.
A
Right. Well, something in sales that, you know, that I kind of experienced was, you know, going from making $3,000 a month in a penitentiary setting and then going to making 30, 40 grand a month, you feel like you kind of let off the gas and take a break, you know, and, and instead of hitting that mark, I could have double tripled, you know, made way more money and done better, you know.
B
So I would say that would mediocrity, sneaky, bro.
A
Yeah. 100. Yeah. That's one of the things you have to say. Complacency, you got to stay away from.
B
Yeah.
A
Always, always do something, you know, Always do something that sucks to get better, you know?
B
Yeah, yeah. Don't feed your flesh. Don't do the stuff you want. Do the stuff you don't want. And then also, I always say, like, if the devil was to take you out, he would. He doesn't want to hurt you. People always like, devil wants to hurt me. No, he doesn't. He wants to make you average. If he can just make you average where you don't count and you don't matter, and he can give you just enough to where you'll be comfortable, you'll never help anyone.
A
Definitely.
B
Yeah. So it's like, very sneaky. He's not trying to take you out. He's trying to make you average. That way you can't help anyone else. So that's huge. All right, let's talk about some things that you learned to not do. Let's talk about traps, because there are traps everywhere. I always say, as I'm 45 years old, when I was younger, I had this man, I was talking to him, I was like, you know, what do you pray for? He's like, wisdom. I was like, ah, yeah, I don't care about wisdom. And then as you get older, I'm like, I need wisdom, right? Because I keep falling in these traps and making these mistakes, you know? And so as I get older now, now I understand the wisdom. Wisdom, the wise, the mature. You know, it's like, if you want to make more money, you got to get more mature. If you want to keep money, you got to get more mature. It's one thing to make it. A lot of people are flashing the pan, make money for a few years, but making money for decades is going to take wisdom and maturity, you know, and. And not having it all fall through your fingers. So what would you say are some. Some. Some traps to look out for or some things not to do? From your own lessons in life, I.
A
Would say the number one thing is. Is the complacency and being comfortable. You know, you make a lot of money. You tend to kind of let off the gas, and you want to party, you want to hang out, you want to spend money, you know, definitely. You definitely want to save that, you know, paychecks, commissions come month to month.
B
You know, how do you structure money when you make a really good month? Right? Let's say guys make a 10 grand a month. You know, you make a 40 grand month, you're like, oh yeah, you know, right there. What do you do with that? What should someone do with that? To, to not get comfortable. Because you can't just put it in your bank.
A
Right.
B
Because you'll get comfortable. So what would you recommend? Like what are some tricks that you've done?
A
Yeah.
B
To help you.
A
This, that's. And that's working on with myself, you know, definitely investing and saving.
B
Okay.
A
You know that you definitely want to do that 100%. And, and with priority roofing, we have so many, you know, people that can help in that standpoint as well.
B
Investments.
A
Right. Mike, RVP is very good financially and actually can counsel some people on doing things like that.
B
So you want to get that money out of your, out of your checking account as fast as possible.
A
You don't want to spend it, man. You want to live minimum.
B
Yep.
A
Don't live above your means. Yeah, I struggled with that myself, making that money.
B
Yeah. Dude, I always say this. Live below your means and you'll get rich. And by the way, if you can, and you're at the position where you can pay cash for something, then fine. If you feel like that's going to motivate you to work harder and do better, go buy it. Guys like, man, I want to drive $150,000 lifted diesel. Okay, cool. You know, but don't have eight grand in the bank and then go finance a fifteen hundred dollar payment, you know what I'm saying? Like, like go put 300 grand in the bank, go write a check for it and now we're good. You know, like, like get ahead. But most people, the second they start making money, they're thinking, oh man, I can go, I can go start making payments. And by the way, like the one thing about salespeople is selling stressed is makes you become a beggar. Right? Like you become a beggar because you got to hit quota, you know, but not hit quota because you got a big dream. You got to hit quota so that you don't go under.
A
Right.
B
And you see a lot of people that go through and they get debted out because they put their back against the wall, which I love that. But then they run off stress and they don't run off pressure. Pressure is good for you. I love pressure. I love my wife to pressure me. Come on, babe, let's play the house.
A
It'll push you. Yeah. It'll push you to work harder for sure.
B
Yeah. But stress isn't good for you. No, stress increases your cortisol to me, it makes you become a beggar. To me, it makes you make bad decisions. Then you start making decisions based off money.
A
Put you in depression as well.
B
Yeah, totally, man. Doesn't give you much, much peace, you know? Okay, what are some other things, maybe from human beings to decision making? What would you say? What is a mistake that you made in your life? You know, at some point, doesn't matter what it is that you're like, man, that really helped me. Everything. Every mistake is a lesson.
A
Well, like we just talked about, when I would make that 30, 40 grand a month, I would let off. And, you know, thankfully, Will was like, I see. I see it in you, man. I believe in you. You know, I'm not gonna let you fail. You know what I mean? He's like, I just want you to understand that I'll help you get to where you need to be, but I need you to take off. And that was one of those things where it kind of hurt me. And I realized I gotta put my foot on the gas and not land.
B
So I'm gonna go. I'm gonna throw a curveball here. This is all about. This is all about leadership, basically, Will, and this is why I understand why you went to work for him, is because I think everybody watching this right now, everybody wants a leader in their life. You need a leader in your life. I always say the coach that you had, that was the hardest coach on you was a coach that, you know, didn't put up with any of your crap. Yeah. The coach that when you didn't touch the line, they made you run until you threw up because you were trying to shortcut that guy in that moment. Most of the time, you hate that guy. You hate that guy. Be. But the easy coach, you love him. Hey, we love this coach. He lets us get away with whatever we want. He's the best coach ever. He's the funnest coach ever. But zero results manifest with that coach.
A
You're not going to better yourself.
B
Nope. And you're never going to go anywhere but the other coach you kick butt with, and you just. And you hate him.
A
Constantly dominate.
B
You hate him at the time because his. His advice challenges you and honestly like it. It's not what the body wants. The body wants to be, you know, comfortable, and this guy's trying to make you uncomfortable. And I think I see that with Will now. Like, he was. He's been that coach. And so when he saw that thing, he moved in, made sure that he helped you fix it. So all of you watching this right now, do you. Are you surrounded by a leader, by a company that you know when you're making a mistake, they even care? You know, honestly, man, I've worked in. I mean, we train millions of salespeople, and a lot of people, when you work in a company, they want you to go spend every dollar and blow it. You know why? Yeah. Well, no, because the next month you're broke again. And if you're broke again, that means you got to go sell again. So they don't want you to save up money. They don't want you to put money away. They don't want you to become financially free. You know why? Because then one day maybe you might be able to quit or go retire or go do something else. And I don't want that. I want you to. I want you to be stuck with me for life.
A
Right. Will is one of those people that I don't mind being stuck with.
B
Yeah, but he set you up to be able to leave him. Yeah, but because he set you up, you'll stay with him forever.
A
You know, I'll tell you a story to kind of touch up on Will again was we have a. We have a month long training program. And when you start, it's the hardest part because obviously you got to build your pipeline. And Obviously we pay $500 a week to kind of help, but $500 a week isn't. Isn't anything. Yeah, I remember driving my. I had a diesel at the time, old diesel. And I was driving on 75 in Dallas. And if anybody knows where that. That is at in Dallas, it's like potholes galore. Yeah, man, I hit a pothole, tore out my whole front end of my truck. And I'm broke, going through training, trying to figure it out. Trying to figure out how to get my family to Dallas. You know, at that point, you know, you're ready to tap out and just be done, go back to the prisons. Right. You know, Will literally told me I was talking to a friend who was childhood best friends with Will, and he had called Will, told him. Will called me and told me. He goes, hey, man, don't worry about the truck. Get it towed to the dealership. We'll get it fixed. We'll get you back on the road. I believe in you. And we'll figure out later on down the road. So he literally, you know, I told. I got my tuck trove to the dealership, got it fixed. Will took care of me and was just like, we'll figure it out. We'll figure it out later. You know, let's get you to selling. Let's get. Get you taken care of.
B
People don't do that.
A
No, they don't. That's.
B
And they did it in the very beginning before you proved your value 100%.
A
That will is the kind of guy that'll show you love, you know, train you up. He'll do whatever's necessary, take a chance and get you to where you need to be, you know, and for that, like, I am a leadership person, man. Man, if. If it. I could make millions of dollars. If I don't believe in the leader, I don't like the leader. I don't see that. I'll leave. You know, it's like. It's 100% about leadership.
B
That's huge, man.
A
Yeah.
B
You know, most people, 99% of the world will never feel that way. No, because we're in a leadership. We're in a leaderless nation. And. And so you guys build leaders, though. I mean, that's what you guys build. You guys build leaders. You don't build salespeople. You build leaders. Now, sales will get you rich, but leadership is the secret to sales. It's a secret to the. The wealth. It's the secret to the great life.
A
That's good leadership. You know, we. We went from, you know, not being a top 100 roofing contractors to now number 20, 20. We're in number 21. We're ranked number 21 in the nation.
B
Going to number one.
A
We're constantly on the way to number one. 100%. And yeah, man, if you. If you have good values and you work hard, you know, and. And you want to just make a ton of money and. And grow with the company and stay. Stick with them, you know, prior to roofing is. Is that place, you know, I'll never. I'll never leave.
B
Yeah, I love that. Listen, if you're watching this, man, you're like, dude, I want to work for something like that. You know, text Shane. Make sure you guys shoot him a text message. And what I love about him is, you know, what you see is what you get. I love that, man. I hate. I hate people that are one way in one conversation, and they're another way in another conversation. And, you know, and when your back's turned, you never know what they're saying about you. You never know what's. You know, how someone feels. You know, you guys have. It's a. I don't know, like a redneck kind of middle.
A
Yeah.
B
You know, it's Midwest, You Know, kind of like hand, ironclad, handshake type deal. Sure there's contracts, sure there's things. But it's like a handshake type company. Right. Like if we give you our word, if we say we're going to do it, we're going to do it. By the way, I've met all their leaders in their company. They're all this way.
A
Yep.
B
Like everybody's, you know, a little different in their own character. They're all characters. Everybody's a different character but they're all in the same alignment.
A
It's, it's a, like you said, it's a, it's a brotherhood essentially. Man. I told people all the time, man, if there's ever a situation and say, for instance, I'm unavailable at the time, you could literally call Tony and Denver and say, hey, I'm new with Shane. Can't get a hold of them. How would you go about the situation? And any leader, anybody in priority roofing is willing to help each other just.
B
Like you work for them. Yep. Yeah, I've seen it. It's absolutely most amazing thing I've ever seen.
A
Absolutely.
B
And it all ties in. Everybody's like, yeah, I met Will and you know, he was this way and then basically here's what's crazy. And then what will shown you now you're showing that to your guys?
A
100%?
B
Absolutely. Yeah. It's almost like, it's like, like he's a father figure. But he's all. He's younger than you though.
A
Yeah, he is.
B
You know, but I always say this like some people get it and they get it earlier than others.
A
He's got great wisdom.
B
Yes, he has that wisdom, man. He's got. And, and you know, I got a guy that works for me. He's 24 years old, but he's got the mind of a 60 year old. Right. Like he just, he just sees through a different set of lenses. His standards are a different way and you know, he just matured way faster than you know, anyone else's age. It's totally crazy. And he understands it. And the code of like, of like, of keeping your word, you know, it's, it's cool to do when things are easy, but when things aren't easy, that's a whole different story.
A
Yep. You guys got to do what you say. 100.
B
That's amazing. Let's talk about real quick and we'll finish with this. What is a pos? What is it? What does it look like coming to work for you? What does it look like, what is the culture like? What is the company like? What is Lakeland, Florida like, right? Like, what does that look like? Let's say I. Let's say I, I. I text you right now and I was like, hey, man, I want to. I want to talk about joining your. Your company. Right. You know, I want to. I love what you said, obviously, look like a man of integrity. You know, I want to be that own standard, you know, But I also, I'm ready to kick some butt, man. I'm ready to. I'm ready to give 110. Like. Like will told you for him, you give me 110% and you're gonna make it. And if I was like, I'm ready to give 110%, what would that look like for me? If I went down with you, what would I see? What would the culture be like? What's the weather like? What's.
A
Yeah.
B
What's my life look like?
A
Lakeland, Florida, Central Florida, essentially. You're hour away from Orlando, 30 minutes from Tampa. Beaches on either side, beautiful palm trees. You know, I love, I love everything about Florida. Lakeland, Florida. Our culture is basically, you know, let's. Let's do this thing together. Let's have fun. Let's make money. Let's, you know, interact with each other's families and get together and do barbecues and go bowling, go to topgolf. Let's go to sporting events. Let's. Let's grow together, you know? And I'm gonna do for you what I would do for anybody, you know, if you need help selling a deal, I'm gonna. I'm gonna help. You need help closing a deal, I'm gonna help. You know, you have a homeowner where something goes wrong. You know, I was in quality control, man, so I had to deal with the. The crap sandwich every day, you know what I mean? So I know how to. From the penitentiary. I know how to get out of sticky situations.
B
Yeah.
A
So any way that I can help you be better, you know, let's. Let's work together, let's be friends, let's make money, let's grow Lakeland priority. Let's grow you.
B
It's basically a family.
A
Yeah. You want to open Tampa? That opportunity become available. You want to open Fort Lauderdale, you want to open New York?
B
Wherever.
A
Wherever you want. You know, Will and Micah, you know, set opportunities for everybody. You know, if we can't find a position, we'll make one.
B
It just all starts right here.
A
Right here. Everybody, every bit, everybody in leadership and Priority roof roofing have started in the same chairs, you know, in, in the.
B
Sales training and they're all in different industries.
A
Right.
B
You know what I'm saying? Like every, the crazy thing is everyone that I've talked to, all of the leaders in priority roofing, I've got to know really well. None of them, none of, none of them ever thought about doing roofing. Like, honestly, like, like, not even Will. Like he was going to school for ministry and he ended up in, Started knocking doors. Yeah.
A
Started as a door knocker, then went to sales and went, he started from the bottom and now, well, all of.
B
You guys started from the bottom.
A
Right.
B
Like that's the cool thing like that since you guys know the play and the bottom doesn't mean that it has to be the bottom for 10 years. The bottom might be for eight months. You know what I'm saying? I mean somebody could shoot up as fast as they want.
A
Absolutely.
B
You know, but, but that's where we start though because we, we have to, you know, get the respect of the whole company that they can see that you are able to do what it is that you need to do. Right. So it doesn't matter what you did your last place. We want to know what you're going to do with us.
A
Right. All you have to do is be a people person.
B
We teach you everything else that seems.
A
That'S afraid of conversation and talking to people. Other than that we'll, you know, we'll train you up on any, any type of help you need. We're going to figure it out. You know, we're going to give you the tools to success.
B
I love it right now. I'm not sure how much Shane uses social media, but I'm going to put it up here on the screen right now. His Instagram. Okay. And I think we talked about what, what it was, but I'll throw it up on the screen.
A
Shane Pitts.92.
B
Yeah. And was that when you were born?
A
It was something. Instagram just gave it to him. Okay.
B
That's how I am.
A
I'm going to start figuring it out though, man.
B
Dude, listen, I made an email 25 years ago and as andye67mail.com yeah. And people are like, oh what 67? I'm like, I have no idea what they gave me. That's what they gave me. It was an option.
A
Yeah. I got to get more social media savvy.
B
Yeah. But I did that same thing. It's funny. But anyways, what I would recommend is number one, you guys go Check him out on Instagram. It's not something that he uses a lot, but it's something that he will post here and there. You can kind of just take a little look at him. Most importantly, you have his direct cell phone number, which is super cool. Send him a message. Just say, I saw you in Andy's podcast. You know, my name's Keith and I want to talk about this opportunity. He'll get on the phone with you and you never know, man. I always say, like, you're one handshake away from a brand new life. You were with Will.
A
Yes.
B
And so someone else will be with you. And with that being said, guys, we're super grateful for you from me and Shane. We talked about some things you need to start doing, some things you need to stop doing, some traps you need to look out for. And then also, you know, some wisdom, advice on how to grow and scale in life. And if you've listened to this all the way through, you're the top 1%. Maybe this isn't you, though, that you're watching this. You're like, dude, man, I got a great. I got a great opportunity, but I've got a good friend of mine that I would love to have him meet. Shane. Send this video over to him. Okay? Just share the video, send it over to him, say, check it out. And then maybe Shane might be a right fit for him and maybe it's not you, so. But you can get your life changed today just by watching this. But if that is you, message him now, guys. We love you, Shane. I appreciate you, brother. Thank you, guys. Have a blessed day and we'll see you in the next video.
