I am stirred up, okay, listen. And I'm explaining my shit. And then you guys can understand how we built a big ass business. My whole life is cash. My whole life's done. If I die today, my family's taking care of my kids. Kids. Kids are good. Why? Dude, I did it in five years. Somebody tell me how. You know how I got pissed off? I'm going to tell you this. Who has kids in here? Raise your hand if you have kids. I'm going to tell you this. The greatest thing you could ever do in your life is be a great parent. That is your number one responsibility, is to raise those kids. That is your blood. Why did you get in painting? Why? I mean, I want to know. Like, my dad was in it. I took his business over, okay? I worked for a guy, he was in painting. I learned there was profits in it. So then I became a painter. Okay, where's the heart come from? Where's the passion? Guys, if you call one of my guys on the phone, if you call me. Has anybody watched my Instagram videos? Every morning when I'm closing deals. Have you guys seen how I close people? Dude, my heart is straight in their face. I am a very good speaker. I am very good at talking. I can paint pictures, tell stories, sell ideas, sell situations, influence and persuade with the best. But my damn heart is on that phone in every conversation. Why I am stirred up, okay? Listen, and I'm explaining my shit. And then you guys can understand how we built a big ass business. My whole life is cash. My whole life's done. If I die today, my family's taking care of my kids. Kids. Kids are good. Why? Dude, I did it in five years. Somebody tell me how. You don't know how I got pissed off. And you're going to have to get pissed off, too. Now I believe. Follow me. Don't chase the money, chase the man. Men and women, when you become who you're supposed to become, it will rain money on you. A lot of you in here. You think you're a painter? What? You're a coach, okay? Walk like one, talk like one, act like one. Are you motivating everybody around you? Does everybody that meets you get a freaking pep talk and walk away from you feeling like they can take over the world? If not, what's your problem? Who told you you're a painter? That's bullshit. Listen to me. And by the way, this is funny. And I'm going to tell you two things. And I want you to relate to this and I want you to never forget this. 18 years old, when I started selling cars, okay? It was my way out. I made 125 grand, 18, 19, 225. Made 500 grand by the time I was 20. I got really good, really fast. But I had a manager, not a leader. I had a manager that told me, sacrifice for what you want or what you want becomes a sacrifice. Okay? So when I got married at 26, Jackie's 24. I've been with her forever. You know, success was her having a purse full of cash, a paid off house and paid off cars. And you know, everybody, you know, who thought I was going to be a loser, now I'm a winner. You know, I broke my bloodline. No, dude, the deal is, is that I wasn't present with my kids. I freaking was thinking about work all the time. I didn't go home every day and go, babe, man, I want to take our marriage to another level today. No, I was at business saying I want to take our business to another level, but going home and giving her leftover and freaking trash. Exhausted, tired. My kids, man. I was in the pictures. Oh yeah, I got some pictures with them. I don't remember. I was so busy thinking about how we're going to grow the business, how I'm going to make more money, how I'm going to do this. I'm going to tell you this. Who has kids in here? Raise your hand if you have kids. I'm going to tell you this. The greatest thing you could ever do in your life is be a great parent. That is your number one responsibility, is to raise those kids. That is your blood. Super important. Guys, if you're watching this video right now and you're like, andy, I'm not built like that. Bullshit. Yes, you are. Got to train way it works. Train or complain. It's your choice. Okay? Every day I train the greatest in the world. You know what I mean? Are you ready to kick some ass and build your legacy and make history? If you are in the description box below on this YouTube video, there's going to be a link. You click on it, enter your phone number, email, full name, and I will personally reach out to you in the next 24 hours. If you're serious about kicking some ass, going to the new level, recreating next version of yourself, I'm your guy, let's kill it. And I see some of you pleasing the wrong people. You're trying to take good care of your boss, your employees. Trying to. Dude, if you can't take care of Your family, you're going to fail ultimately all the way around. And if you dare succeed and make some money, I'm going to tell you this. When your kids don't choose you as their hero and when you're later on in life, they don't have nothing to do with you. You're going to hate the back half of your life while you're watching them live and they're not going to have anything to do with you. Do you understand? This is facts, so why would I say these things? Chase the man, not the money. Your team, do you want them to be great parents? Listen to me. I dare one of you not to show your team what a great relationship looks like. I dare one of you not to teach your team what it is to be a great parent. I dare you to not show your team how to save money. And then when they go broke, they go work for someone else because that person's paying more money. Because you didn't show them how to save. You didn't show them how to invest. You didn't show them how to make good decisions. Who's their leader? Is it you or is it social media or some other guy? If you're in my wheelhouse and you work in my company, I can't say I'm your leader. No, I am the leader. I operate like the leader. I operate higher than all the other people and eventually you're gonna go, shit, that's my dude. And so now I'm the person that gives you advice. You're not going to social media and you're not listening to some freaking, you know, piece of crap person giving you advice. They just want you to come work for them. Does that make sense? And use you? Listen, don't wake up, just be an owner. That's fine. Your whole team's going to get recruited your whole life. People like this. Because once your team finds out this exists, they're gone. And this does exist because I'm building it all around the world. Now that's not a threat to you. That's me making you a threat to everyone else when you leave. That's my goal. I'm not threatening you. I'm telling you, if you want to be a threat. Listen, if anyone thinks about self development companies, trust me, the Elliot army group is a threat 100%. And by the way, you know what I tell my team every day? I say every day, those leads come in. When those leads come in, they ain't leads, they're lifes. It's a life, bro. It Ain't a lead. Stop calling them leads. It's a life. And that life, if it's in a painting industry, you're like, listen to me. Three things. Number one, that guy's going to continue to struggle and not fix the problem. Shit's going to stay the same. Number two or number three, they're going to end up at the competition getting treated like crap. Promises getting broken, getting trash. Things take longer than they should. Job isn't great and we should have earned our business. I don't care if I'm more money. Tell your team I'll be twice as much as everyone else. As long as you believe that we have the best company in the world and what we do is the greatest, they'll pay it. People don't like cheap shit. Even cheap people will go find a credit card, take a loan and do whatever to have the best. If you guys are painters, most of the time they're assets and properties, right? Homes. Am I right? This is the biggest purchase these people ever made in your life. Hey, are we painting a shed today, sir? Mr. Johnson, is this the home you live in? Is it the home you live in? Is it? Well, damn. Okay, then let's not talk about painting sheds. But the guys down the street, they're going to give you prices like they're painting a shed. They don't care. Look, go pay them three times, then come get us and we'll go tear the whole thing down and redo it. That's what we do anyways. Listen, in our area, we're known as the guys that come in behind everyone else that does it wrong. That's fine. Pay a little more with us in the beginning or go ahead and use them. Go through frustration, go through headache, waste your money, get aggravated and then we'll come tear it all down and redo it. It's your money in the end, but you're wasting time. Dude, I know this market. You're just reaching out, getting quotes and stuff. This is ugly. This is nightmare land. It is, but I'm trying to tell you, we're the best at what we do. Everyone says, you saw the Google reviews, right? They're great. I mean, it's not what I say, it's what everybody else is saying. Listen, I'm going to tell you this, right? Once you use us, you're going to refer us to everyone. It's done. If it costs a little more money. Don't you want your house? It's your assets that you spent the most money on your life. Don't shortcut that shortcuts get you nothing. You know what I'm saying? And you guys don't like cheap stuff, do you? So let's not talk about cheap stuff. Your team has to be able to relay this message to everyone on the phone. Hey, guys. Looks like you made it to the end of the video. You're the true 0001 percenters. [15:40]
Andy shares his journey from being a top-performing salesperson to recognizing the limitations of simply having a manager, as opposed to true leadership.
