Interviewer
If I'm someone who wants to make a change, like financially, like fast, was the number one thing that you'd recommend.
Andy Elliott
Somebody do, Change your mind fast as you can. And the way to do that, number one, you have to alter your identity. You're never going to get a different life if you don't start. Start thinking that you're capable of having a different life and you don't take in new information.
Interviewer
Last question. What's the number one thing that you're looking to instill in your kids, your three kids as they're growing up, becoming a. Who are you standing here with?
Andy Elliott
A.E. andy Elliott.
Interviewer
What do you do?
Andy Elliott
Owner of the Elliot Group. Founder, CEO of the world's largest sales training company. I love it.
Interviewer
And were you always rich growing up?
Andy Elliott
No. No. Matter of fact, most people that are rich and successful, everyone knows normally those people endured a lot of pain, suffering. They were broke when they were younger, and so that's why they made it and they became successful. Why they get money is because they just. They don't quit. Winners live where quitters quit. These. These people don't quit. If you crack open, successful people, a lot of the times, they're crazy. And, you know, a lot of people who have rough beginnings usually end up with the biggest at the end because they're just.
Co-host
They're tougher.
Audience Member
Yeah.
Interviewer
If I'm someone who wants to make a change, like, financially, like fast was the number one thing that you'd recommend.
Andy Elliott
Somebody do, Change your mind fast as you can. And the way to do that, number one, just so everybody's aware, the life that you have right now is because of the way you think. It's just a fact. The way that you think right now is the life that you have, because nobody puts a ceiling on you except you. A lot of people, they're blaming on everybody else that everyone screwed their life up. The fact is, you screwed your life up. People say, you know, at church, you know, the devil is after me. The devil's not after you. You just keep ruining your life, okay? Like, no one needs to ruin your life. You keep ruining it. And so I've learned this. The fastest thing to change and the easiest thing to change is your mind. But it's got to be a consistent thing because your mind every day, has to be reprogrammed. So if you want to make a lot of money, if you want to be great at anything, you got to remember, whatever you focus on, where your focus goes, your energy flows, right? So it's like every morning of Every day before the day starts, I reprogram myself. Who I am, what I'm going to do, what I'm after, what are my intentions, what's my purpose, what is my value, what's my worth, what's my worth? People say, well that's conceit. No, I'll never out earn my own self worth, my worth. To me, it doesn't matter what you think of me. Matters what I think of me, doesn't matter what you think is inside of me. It matters what's truly I believe is inside of me. And so I believe that a lot of people, they just, they don't reprogram their mind every day. So if you had a new mind, you would have a new life. You would have and by the way, a new mind makes you change. And when you change, everything around you changes. I always tell people, if you want to make money, chase the man, not the money. If you chase money, you're always going to be trying to beg people or get close to people and you're going to be fake your whole life, become someone great, build yourself a badass mindset. And by the way, do it every day. Like you can't miss one day.
Co-host
You know, I get the gym, you.
Andy Elliott
Do a five day go and then a two day off. You go three days on, take one day off. I get that. You got to recover. Your mind doesn't need to recover. Recovery to your mind is death to your dreams, right?
Audience Member
Yeah.
Andy Elliott
Okay, so basically every day, 365 days a year, you got to train your mind. So I spend at least 30 minutes to an hour every morning, minimum, just taking the greatest gift in the world, which is spending time working on me, with myself. And over the last four or five years doing that, we've built a massive empire.
Audience Member
Yeah.
Interviewer
And so like if I'm watching, I'm like, man, you know, but I grew up where nobody taught me that or I went to school and that's, you know, they, they led me to get a job. And you know, this is where I'm at because of this. Like, what would you say to people?
Andy Elliott
You know, it now, it's like, it's like, listen, once you find out the good news that literally the problem has been you the whole time, you're the problem, you're also the solution. And so what do you do? You physically decide to take ownership of your life and you start to grow, you start to recreate, you kill off the old you, you reinvent yourself, you just become a new person. You have to alter Your identity. You're never going to get a different life if you don't start thinking that you're capable of having a different life and you don't take in new information. There's this lever, right? I didn't say level. It's a lever. And it's a lever that I pull every morning. Boom. I pull that lever, and it's the development lever. Super important.
Co-host
Guys, if you're watching this video right.
Assistant
Now and you're like, andy, I'm not built like that.
Andy Elliott
Bullshit.
Assistant
Yes, you are.
Andy Elliott
Got to train.
Assistant
That's the way it works. Train or complain.
Andy Elliott
It's your choice, okay?
Assistant
Every day I train the greatest in the world. You know what I mean? Are you ready to kick some ass and build your legacy and make history? If you are in the description box.
Co-host
Below on this YouTube video, there's going.
Assistant
To be a link. You click on it, enter your phone number, email, full name, and I will personally reach out to you in the next 24 hours. If you're serious about kicking some ass, going to the new level, recreating next version of yourself, I'm your guy. Let's kill it.
Andy Elliott
It's the knowledge lever. You know, people write books that have done 30 years of work in life and created something, and you can buy that book that they've spent 30 years, 30 years of their life. We only get so many years. And they gave 30 years of their life to learn this. And I can learn it in three weeks. I could learn it in a week if I wanted to. If I want to spend that much time dedicated to it. Now it's like that person mentored me for their whole life in one week. And how much does a book cost? So the problem is. And there's different ways. Me, I like visual. I like to be live in front of something. If somebody's doing something live, I like to be there. If there was a loud noise in your kitchen, bam, and it was the middle of the night, would you get up to see what it was? Or would you say, it's probably nothing, go back to bed? I'd get up. Why? Why would you get up?
Interviewer
It could be dangerous.
Andy Elliott
No, because you need to see with your eyes. Is it a. Is it a real. Is it a threat? Did that really just happen? And so me, I believe I'm 45 years old. I'm a visual person. If somebody can do something and I can see with my eyes, immediately I own it. And so I'm a visual person. So there's visual learning, then there's video what does that mean? Maybe there's not a seminar going on every month, but you're training on a video, you're logging into a training system. You got to find yourself an online coach. You got to have something that you plug into every day. You got to know what you're looking for. You can't just wake up and go to YouTube every morning. Go motivational videos. You've got to actually learn a skill. It is a skill to learn your mind. It is a skill to, to learn yourself. Most people, they spend their whole life trying to figure out all these things and they never learn themselves. Never. They're just a shell of human. And so every day I spend time learning me. And then also I do learn a skill and that skill gets sharpened every day. And I always say, like most people are a master of none. They've mastered nothing. They're good at a lot of things, but they're great at nothing. And if you really want to make a lot of money, you become great at one thing, one top 1% in that industry, you'll be rich.
Audience Member
So there's a lot of talk online.
Interviewer
About getting rich quick and overnight success.
Andy Elliott
Is that real? Doesn't exist.
Interviewer
Doesn't, like not anywhere.
Andy Elliott
Doesn't exist. If you get rich quick and you didn't become the person you needed to become with the money, you're just going to lose it quickly. Look, dude, I know a lot of people that made money for a few years are ass broke right now, okay? They're just a little flash in the pan. They made money for a couple years and they're no one. And I like to learn from people that have made money for decades.
Audience Member
Yeah.
Andy Elliott
Personally.
Interviewer
And so does that mean that it's going to take time no matter what to get super wealthy?
Andy Elliott
Yes. And by the way, when you start learning and training, don't be one of these phase people that like goes through a self development phase for six months and then you go back to your old life. You got to think long range. Okay, next 10 years, 15 years, 20 years, 30 years. Who do you want to be? What do you want your life to look like? How do you want the world to see you? How do you want to see the world? Right. Are you reacting to everything that's happening or do you have a life by design, long range?
Interviewer
And so same thing with fitness and health and taking care of yourself. Is 6 minute abs real?
Andy Elliott
No, you got to get the reps in. And by the way, most people, they get, they pull themselves out of the fire too soon.
Guest
Okay?
Andy Elliott
In the Bible, it talks about the refiner's fire. And it says, a lot of the times, you have to stay in the fire long enough to kill all the blemishes, to burn all the blemishes off, right? And then God pulls you out at the right time. Notice we're in an era right now. Anytime there's heat, there's pressure, there's pain or discomfort, people want to pull out. They want to pull out of the fire. They want that discomfort gone. All right, I had enough. I tried this for six months, and I'm not getting what I want. So I'll just go back to my old life. In the beginning of this, I said, winners live where quitters quit.
Guest
Okay?
Andy Elliott
So the winners, they live in a zone where quitters, they have stopped way before that zone. Because these winners don't pull themselves out of the fire. Matter of fact, they don't want to be pulled out of the fire. I'm a man, and as a man.
Co-host
I want to suffer.
Andy Elliott
I respect other men who go through suffering. When I see men that have clearly gone through pain and suffering and who haven't quit, regardless of how much they earn or whatever's going on, I respect them immediately. And most people, they're really hard to respect anymore because they want something for free. So if that's what you want and you don't want to put in the pain and you don't want to earn it for a long time, fine. Stay a loser.
Audience Member
Yeah.
Interviewer
Last question. What's the number one thing that you're looking to instill in your kids, your three kids as they're growing up, becoming adults?
Andy Elliott
God is real. Most important thing, people think. Well, by the way, generational habits.
Guest
Okay?
Andy Elliott
I don't want my kids to get my wealth. I want my kids to get my habits. And so those habits would include, number one, you know, believe in people, be good to people. You know, most people don't really care about anyone else other than themselves. Leaders live for a bigger vision themselves. So everything that you do is being an example for what other people can do. Be living proof that anything is possible. Son, daughter, and then also God. God will slay all your giants, every one of them. You won't ever have to slay them. He will. And by the way, he'll always give you another chance. I don't care who tells you this. Most people, the reason why they quit and why their life screwed up is because the devil's so good at convincing you that it's over, it's finished, and you're done. You've ruined it now. Oh, you're never coming back from that. Once everybody finds out what you did, you're done. Here's what I'll tell you. God sometimes uses these great testimonies. Matter of fact, he does it all the time. He uses these great testimonies, these people that do the craziest things. Apostle Paul was once Saul. He was a Christian killer, and then now he saved the most. You know, I talked about in church how the scales came off Saul's eyes and he became Paul, and he saw the world differently. I don't know. Sometimes we got to go through some stupid. But it's never over. It's never finished.
Guest
Okay?
Andy Elliott
And the devil wants you to think that, like, you can't come back from this. And so that's why I always talk about the comeback kid. And I want to tell my kids, God will always give you another chance. He doesn't care. He's always going to be there for you. And obviously, he's your father, I'm your earthly father, he's our father. So he believes in you. He loves you. And, you know, if I was to give one message to my kid, it would be that one, because that's the eternal message.
Co-host
Hey, guys. Looks like you made it to the.
