Welcome to season 5 of the Another Way To See It Podcast. In this episode Tracy introduces the topic of perception vs reception. If we spend our time and energy worrying about what people think about us rather than feeling into the way that people receive us we miss the interaction of the space between us. We will never be able to truly know how people perceive us due to the fact that it is impossible to fully grasp another’s perspective; however we can meet in the space between in our interactions with others. This is a deeply embodied practice that requires us to cultivate a realistic and independent self-concept.
