I suffered from breakup anxiety in a long-term relationship, and it was so hard to walk away from, even though I felt it was the right thing to do.

My first relationship started when I was about 16 and lasted 6 years. In the end, we just fell out of love — I convinced myself that I'd never find another person who could love me with my anxiety.

When we finally broke up, what really happened was: yes, breakup anxiety hit me hard, but I had to relearn how to be single. I also met my current boyfriend some months later, who I've been dating now for 4 years. 🧡

This breakup was so important to help me heal and realize who I am as an individual and how valuable I am as a partner too. I understood I deserved to be happy and feel loved being single or dating. Self-love is everything!!!
