Relay Station Enoch is a civilian deep-space installation serving as a trade waypoint, habitat, and maintenance hub. The station is home to thousands of people and has dozens of ships arriving and leaving every cycle. Twelve minutes ago, the station detected an impact or explosion following a routine harmonic transition. Core systems are showing signs of operating outside design tolerance, and the station systems warn of the risk of structural cascading failure. And of course, anything could happen... The crew of a UFR-sanctioned investigation team is responding to an unusual discovery at the edge of charted space. Long-range surveys have identified the remains of an undocumented colony installation on the 3rd planet in the Teegarden’s Star system, and it seems to date back to the late Corporation Era. There is no record of there ever being a colony at this location - indeed, it wasn’t listed on any of the official logs; instead, the system was classified as uninhabitable. There is no population registry, and no emergency beacons are shouting out any warnings. From orbit, the site appears intact but abandoned - with operational (but dormant) Life-support systems and no obvious hazards have been detected. And of course, anything could happen... The senior crew of the UFR Exploration Vessel DSV Horizon's Edge is operating in the uncharted outer regions beyond known trade lanes. During routine scans, they detect a massive artificial structure drifting toward an exoplanet. The scans confirm the impossible: it's a Generation ship, launched from Earth centuries before Harmonic Drives were invented. A relic from the earliest days of humanities reach into the stars. In twenty minutes it will enter the exoplanet's atmosphere where gravity will tear it apart. Twenty minutes to save the sleeping passengers. No second chances. And of course, anything could happen...
