There’s no escaping what’s happening in the United States right now. Even if you turn off the news, you can still feel the tension in the air—and many of us are carrying it quietly. In this episode, I share an honest check-in about how I’m processing this moment. I’m not handling it perfectly, and I don’t have everything figured out. But instead of reacting out of fear, anger, or urgency, I’m asking a different question: God, how do I need to be positioned in this time? This is a reflection on clarity, discernment, and faith—not as performance or prediction, but as orientation. A reminder that in seasons of uncertainty, clarity matters more than panic, and staying rooted matters more than having all the answers. If you’ve felt the weight of this moment and are trying to discern how to move forward with wisdom and steadiness, this conversation is for you. In this episode, I'm sharing an honest reflection about acknowledging our need for God—not just in crisis moments, but in the everyday grind of trying to do it all. And the peace that comes when we finally admit we can't do this alone.🙏 What we cover: • That overwhelming moment of realizing "I desperately need God" • Why acknowledging our need for Him brings peace, not weakness • How God's presence, power, protection, and grace sustain us daily • Finding strength beyond ourselves in busy, taxing seasons • The reality of being stretched thin across work, family, and goals • Why it's okay to say "God, I can't do this alone" • How God's grace covers us even when we make wrong decisions • Navigating regular days that still feel like "too much"For anyone who: ✓ Feels stretched across too many responsibilities ✓ Needs reminder they weren't meant to do life alone ✓ Is in an overwhelming season and needs encouragement ✓ Wants to lean into faith during busy times ✓ Struggles with feeling like they're falling shortThis isn't about having a health crisis or waiting for a miracle—it's about those regular days where you're feeding the kids, showing up at work, chasing your dreams, trying to be a good friend, and still feeling like it's too much. The beautiful truth? We weren't meant to carry it all alone. After 20+ years of walking with God, I still have these fresh, childlike moments of "Oh my gosh, I need my Father." And there's so much peace in that.My challenge to you: Take a moment today—in your car, on your walk, making breakfast—and just say out loud: "God, I need you. I need your grace, your presence, your power, your protection." I believe you'll be met with peace.💬 How do you remind yourself to lean on God during busy seasons? Everyone tells you that you need balance before you can start building your dream. But what if waiting for that perfect balance is actually the very thing keeping you stuck? In this episode, I'm getting real about what it looks like to build a media company while working a 9-5, raising two kids, and managing existing businesses. The truth? You don't need balance to start. You need grit, resilience, and the creativity to find pockets of time that already exist in your day.In this episode:The Balance Myth Why balance isn't something you achieve before you begin—it's a compass, not a destination. And what it actually feels like to build among life's demands rather than waiting for them to calm down.Finding Pockets of Time That Friday I finished work at 4:30 and had every excuse to go home—but stayed 30 minutes to record instead. How an 8-hour workday is actually really long when you look closely. And why you're not looking for hours, you're looking for pockets. The Work Hangover My story of pushing too hard (a 9am-1am day) and paying for it physically. How my body shut down, the migraine that bled into the weekend, and what I learned about listening to the signals before the train arrives.People Get What You Give Why I'm done going overboard. The difference between giving your best (sustainable, excellent) versus giving your all (depleting, destructive). And my salmon salad confession—ordering takeout with a fridge full of fresh food because that's what I had that day. What You Actually Need Not balance. Not perfection. Not for life to calm down. You need grit to build amongst life, your own compass for what balance means to you, and boundaries to give your best without giving your all. This isn't about having it figured out. I'm literally sharing what I learned seven days ago, showing you in real-time that it's possible to inch toward your dream anyway.KEY QUOTES"Life is not going to stop just so that I can go create a better life for myself and my family.""Days are long. An 8-hour workday is actually really, really long.""Balance isn't about what it looks like from the outside in, it's about what it feels like on the inside.""My output today is enough. We're going to give our best, but not our all.""Your best is showing up with excellence at the capacity you have today. Your all is depleting yourself, burning out, sacrificing what matters most.""You don't need balance, you don't need perfection, you don't need life to calm down. You just got to show up."REFLECTION QUESTIONSWhat are you waiting for before you start? What's the perfect circumstance you've made up in your mind? What are the pockets in your day where you could take a step toward your dream? When was the last time your body told you that you've gone too far?Where are you giving your all when your best could be enough? What would change if you stopped feeling guilty about protecting your own energy? What's your version of "ordering in"—the strategic choice that preserves energy for what matters most?RESOURCES MENTIONEDDan Sullivan's "10X is Easier Than 2X"ABOUT THE SHOWWelcome to The Letisha Bereola Show. If you want 10X results, you can't keep doing what got you here. You have to let go of 80% of what's keeping you busy and go all in on the 20% that's actually your zone of genius. In this episode, I'm sharing how Dan Sullivan's book "10X is Easier Than 2X" is shifting how I think about my business and calling. I'm juggling client work that pays the bills with the deeper work I'm meant to do—building my own voice and content. The reality? Most of your results come from 20% of what you do. Every hour in that other 80% is an hour you're not building the future you want. In this episode: • Letting go of comfortable, steady income • The dream beneath the dream • Why working harder won't get you there • How to transition when you can't shut everything down • The higher calling that never leaves you If you're feeling the tension between what pays the bills and what you're called to create, this one's for you. 📖 Book: "10X is Easier Than 2X" by Dan Sullivan Say hello on Instagram: @letishabereola Subscribe and watch the show on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@LetishavBereola Speaking, hosting, event inquiries: Media@groupparadigm.co Join Letisha's email list: https://letishabereola.myflodesk.com/with-everything

It's 2026, and if you're feeling the weight of these times as a Christian woman—the headlines, the division, the uncertainty—you're not alone. I'm feeling it too. This episode is about acknowledging what's real, processing it together, and figuring out how we show up with faith and purpose instead of fear.THE GEOPOLITICAL LANDSCAPE AND MATTHEW 24 Wars, rumors of wars, global tensions escalating. As a former journalist, I read headlines from multiple sources, and honestly? My body physically reacts. My stomach was in knots the other day. Matthew 24 told us: "You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but don't be alarmed. These things must happen, but the end is still to come." Even knowing that doesn't make it easier when you're raising kids. The last six years have felt like one escalation after another. So when I feel that heaviness, I take it directly to God. I ask Him for peace about the times we're living in and what we're supposed to do.RAISING KIDS IN UNCERTAIN TIMES I have a 10-year-old son and a 5-year-old daughter. What will the world look like when my son is 18? With AI transforming the workforce and everything shifting so rapidly—I'm asking God: What do I need to teach them? How do I raise this particular child for their specific calling? My hand is on their backs at night, praying specifically over each of them multiple times a day.THE RISE OF CHRISTIAN INFLUENCERS AND ONLINE VOICES There are so many Christian content creators now—pastors, prophets, influencers—and it's harder than ever to discern who's who. With screens making it so easy to consume content, it's tempting to think watching a sermon online is enough. But I don't think God intended for that to be our primary source. We're supposed to be fed through local church and personal relationship with Jesus—everything else is supplemental. About these prophets and vague prophecies: If you read the Bible, Old Testament prophets were specific. Things only the Lord would know. When I hear blanket prophetic statements online, I'm cautious.COMMITTING TO LOCAL CHURCH IN 2026 My husband and I are officially becoming members of our church this year. We've been attending for years, tithing, know the pastor—but never made it official. Now is the time to lock in. Real, in-person community with people who know us. A leader I can look in the eyes. The body of Christ in our town, not just on a screen. I'll bring you along on this journey.THE "NEW BRAND" OF CHRISTIANITY There's a version of Christianity rising that on the surface might sound right. But the spirit behind it often feels like it's being used as a tool—for division more than love, to prop people up in ways that don't feel Christ-like. I've been disappointed by people I thought were my brothers and sisters. I'm working through that. We need to be close to the Father's voice—to discern when something is of God and when it's not.FEELING BEHIND IN YOUR CALLING At 41 (turning 42), I've carried a calling to impact the world for Christ through media since I was a teenager. Sometimes it feels like I'm behind, like I took a wrong turn. I think that's a lie meant to distract us from the work God has for us now. So I'm showing up—right here. Using my voice. What's the one thing you can do today with your gifts?WE WERE MADE FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS There's no mistake we're here, healthy and able-bodied now. Yes, we're facing unprecedented times. But we were born for this. I believe God's response will blow our minds. He uses us to carry out His purposes. Let's make 2026 not a year of fear, but a year where we walk into our calling—knowing we are called, in position, and ready.TIMESTAMPS: 0:00 - Why this matters 1:30 - Geopolitical landscape & Matthew 24 4:45 - Raising kids in uncertain times 7:20 - Christian influencers online 10:15 - Committing to local church 13:40 - The "new brand" of Christianity 17:00 - Feeling behind in calling 19:30 - Made for such a timeABOUT: For women in their late 30s, 40s, and beyond navigating life with decades behind us and more ahead. Hey friends! Big news—I'm officially on YouTube now! Yes, your girl who's been audio-only is now showing up on video. Messy bun, no mascara, and all. If you want to see what I look like talking about all this, head to YouTube and search "Letisha Bereola"—I'll be there waiting for you. Also, peep the name change? I've decided I'm enough. I don't need a fancy title to lure in potential listeners. This is me, unfiltered. Let me tell you why this is such a big deal.I'm 41 years old. I have an award-winning media career behind me. I've been on TV for over a decade. I've produced content for some of the most recognizable people in the world. And yet, for the past few years, I've been hiding. Making excuses. Putting off showing up the way I know I'm supposed to.In this episode, I'm getting real about why successful women—women with credentials, experience, and proven track records—still struggle to start. Why we wait for everything to be perfect. Why we care what people from our past will think. Why we dim our own lights while helping everyone else shine. This is my YouTube debut, and honestly? I showed up totally unprepared. Wrong microphone. No makeup. Not in the location I wanted. But I did it anyway—because I realized I was making the same excuses I've been helping my clients overcome for years. Here's what we talk about in this episode: **Why high-achieving women hide their gifts** I had every reason to feel confident stepping into YouTube—experience, credentials, a proven track record. But leaving the "vest" of my TV news anchor role made me realize how much I'd been hiding behind that title. When you have to show up as just YOU, it hits different. **The real cost of perfectionism** I was waiting for the right camera, the perfect lighting, to lose 10 pounds, to have my full face done. But all that waiting was just fear dressed up as preparation. If you've been telling yourself "when I'm ready," this will hit home. **Consumer vs. Creator: Which one are you becoming?** We're spending 6-8 hours a day on our phones consuming other people's content, opinions, and influence. The race for our attention is only heating up. So I had to ask myself: Am I going to keep consuming, or am I going to create? If I can't beat 'em, I'm gonna join 'em—but on my terms. **Why I changed the podcast name to The Letisha Bereola Show** I've rebranded before—from Audacity to With Everything—and each name served its season. But I realized that putting a thematic title over my show was actually limiting how I could show up. So I'm giving myself permission to just be me. All of me. The God-chasing girl. The wife and mom. The entrepreneur. The woman trying to build generational wealth. The one struggling to take care of herself while juggling it all. You're getting all of it now. **The awareness of everyone watching** When you've lived 40+ years, you've collected a LOT of people—high school friends, college professors, former colleagues, clients, the woman who gave birth to your kids. The thought of all of them watching you talk about your dreams? It's wild. But I'm working through that, and I want you to know you're not alone if you feel it too. **Investing in yourself as a beginner** Even with all my media experience, YouTube intimidated me. So I bought a book. I took a $500 masterclass with Glo. I approached it like a beginner because that's what I am in this space. And there's so much freedom in saying "I don't know this yet, but I'm going to learn." **Trusting God over the algorithm** I almost lost myself trying to hack the system—strategizing my way into what I thought would monetize fastest. But God reminded me: if I have a genuine anointing and calling, no algorithm can stop the impact I'm meant to have. The same is true for you. If you've been sitting on something—a YouTube channel, a business idea, a book, a podcast of your own, anything that requires you to be SEEN—this episode is your permission slip. You don't need to be ready. You just need to start. And hey, if you want to come see me on YouTube (messy bun and all), search "Letisha Bereola" and subscribe. I'd love to see you over there. This is The Letisha Bereola Show—where we talk about purpose, calling, building wealth, creating freedom, rest, wellness, family, faith, and what it means to live fully expressed as the woman you were created to be. Whether you're in your late 30s, 40s, 50s, or beyond—if you've got decades behind you and decades ahead, this is for you. Welcome. Let's do this together.
