Sherlock Holmes 'A Scandal in Bohemia', the first of Arthur Conan Doyle's detective stories published by The Strand magazine, was the story of Holmes' attempts to help the heir to the Bohemian throne. The soon-to-be King had been photographed in a 'compromising' position with a lady-friend. That woman - Irene Adler - was threatening the heir's upcoming marriage, so Holmes was sought to find the photograph. An enjoyable story with a good plot that keeps unfurling right to the end.
