Wandering Whale Excerpt:

As he looked this way and that, Beau suddenly noticed a sunbeam lighting up the water. The beam of light streamed down from the surface of the water, lighting a magical path that seemed to stretch on forever into the depths of the waters.

Beau knew it wasn’t possible for the light to actually travel all the way to the bottom of the ocean, but he wondered just how far down that light from above the surface could travel into the deep darkness of the sea.
