Pizza Party! Excerpt:

James and Henry went to school together. James did not know Henry very well, but he knew that Henry was kind and enjoyed singing. James liked Henry and was happy he’d been invited to the birthday party. The party was going to be at the Ahway Island pizzeria, and that sounded really fun. James had been there before, and not only was the food delicious, but there was also an arcade inside.

James was excited, but now that it was almost time to leave, he noticed a little fluttery feeling in his tummy. James was not worried about Henry. But what about all the other kids who might be at the party? James felt a little nervous about meeting new people. He was worried he wouldn’t know what to say to them.

Today’s Meditation: Relax as you imagine sunlight warming you as you lie in a grassy meadow.
