In this week's episode, Monica shares insight on what walking in freedom looks like and scripture that encourages us to find freedom and stay rooted in freedom. She also reveals where she needed freedom all those years ago and how she's grown since then...but also where she is still needing to grow and find freedom today. It's a vulnerable episode but hopefully one that resonates with some of you listening.

While there are no set formulas for freedom, Monica does share five steps that will guide you into intentionally walking in the direction of it:

Be Still. Abide, remain, dwell, continue to be in Jesus.
Get to Know Him. Know Him intimately—who He is, His character, His affection toward you, His promises for you. Read the Word to get to know Him.
Memorize Truth. What is the truth of what God says? Not how you feel, or how your past choices or current circumstances might lead you to believe—but the actual truth.
Elevate Your Ideas. We have to be transformed by the renewing of our mind. When we choose to think on the things listed in Philippians 4:8, we recreate neuro-pathways and literally and actually renew and transform our minds.
Stand Firm and Be Steadfast. Refuse to allow old bondages to slide back on. Stay resolute in your mindsets and actions to receive freedom and then walk in it. Refuse to listen to the old voices of shame and guilt that would convince you you haven’t been forgiven or can't be used by Him.
