After nearly 7 months in Lockdown or some stage of restrictions in Melbourne Bev and CJ met up for a picnic and half way through their usual goss session they realised they should hit record... so they did.

Bev and CJ rattle on as per usual about daily life stuff. Putting IKEA furniture together, whether you sleep with a top sheet or not, Cow’s milk vs Almond milk and other fascinating subject matter. Thankfully they’re saved by talking complete mundane bullshit by their special guest, Angus Gill who’s in town recording a comedy album. He’s sings a song off his album “Seasons of Change”

Bev and CJ can’t contain their excitement as they have Marcus Ryan drop in. There’s plenty of room in the cardboard box. They haven’t seen Marcus for bloody ages so they pick his brains on what he’s been up to since The Rona began. CJ has another ciggie on the wall story and Bev’s hoard is going down in size. They have a good old reminisce about the old days and what the future of comedy might look like. They get side tracked a few times hence the episode title this week... Shitting Up A Tree.

It’s day whatever in lockdown and CJ and Bev are getting a bit over it. They’re a bit testy. They’re getting nit picky and thinking about mindless ‘crap’ for way too long. Bev caught the plant bug, and CJ has another ciggie on the wall story. They discuss a drama in their hood.

Bev and CJ talk about really normal things. Bev’s been a bit low key. They chat about how strange it is to be a normal person and not under the spotlights with a mic in hand.

Bev and CJ explore getting used to the idea of social distancing and relaxing into the ways the world has changed. Are we coming out of denial and just getting on with things? And general mindless chit chat.

After a week or so into quarantine Bev and CJ ponder over the new way of living. They look at the positives and stimulate your mind with their insights and chatter. Basically you’re listening in to their ordinary catchup that would happen anyway.

Bev and CJ who are actual neighbours catch up for their usual chat. Only this time the world has changed around them. It’s day one of Lockdown in Victoria. Hear what they have to say about the new world they’ve woken up to. Don’t worry it’s not all serious or nuffin. They’re comedians.
