What's up, guys? Welcome back to BFFs. We have two very special guests. We have Allison and Isaac.
Allison
Hey, how we doing?
Isaac
We're excited to be here.
Allison
Yeah, super excited.
Unknown Host 5
We're excited to have you on. We met you in. Where were we? F1 1.
Allison
Yeah.
Isaac
That was kind of a blur. Vegas is just always a blur.
Unknown Host 5
I know. We're meeting at a lot of events. A blurry events.
Allison
Yeah. I'm like, we should sit down and have a conversation.
Unknown Host 5
I know.
Isaac
Cuz you guys just were at Tart.
Unknown Host 5
Yeah, but that was very blurry too.
Allison
Yeah. So I feel like it's fun to be in like a. Like we're in the ac, we're sitting down.
Unknown Host 5
Yeah.
Allison
Casual.
Unknown Host 5
We have microphones and everyone's watch.
Allison
Wait, this isn't as casual because we. Everyone's watching.
Isaac
Yeah. Actually way longer.
Allison
Like spill your secrets.
Unknown Host 5
I know, I know. So do you guys do a lot of podcasts? Cuz I know you do your content, which is amazing, and you do separate and together, but I feel like I don't hear you guys yap a lot.
Allison
I feel like we've been pretty minimal with the podcast. I don't even know why necessarily.
Isaac
Yeah, we talked about it the other day. I was like, I feel like we never show up on podcast.
Allison
Well. And now here we are maybe just.
Isaac
Trying to be mysterious.
Allison
Yeah, I know. Keep a little. I know. I feel like I over. I'm like a chronic oversharer.
Unknown Host 2
Okay.
Allison
So maybe it's a good thing that I don't do that many, but like sprinkle in here and there.
Isaac
Yeah, we should do more.
Unknown Host 5
Yeah. It's nice when you hop on cuz you can't. You don't overshare too much. But when you have your own, you overshare a lot.
Isaac
Yeah, yeah.
Unknown Host 2
It's hard. You got to be speaking. You got to fill an hour slot.
Unknown Host 5
I know.
Unknown Host 2
Talk about something. Have you guys ever thought about doing a podcast?
Allison
Yeah. So I have one where I talk about sports. We. Back in the day we had one called Babe in the Braids.
Unknown Host 2
Nice.
Unknown Host 5
I love that.
Allison
When I had for five years and.
Isaac
Had braids like all the time. Yeah.
Allison
Yeah. When we talked all about like relationship stuff. Maybe we should like restart it.
Unknown Host 2
So you cut your hair and then you're like, I guess we got to cut the show.
Isaac
Yeah, show goes, my hair goes everything. But I think we. Maybe we'll go rogue and just do something soon because I think there's a space for it. I Think it would do well, but.
Allison
Yeah.
Isaac
I don't know. It's just more time. Like, you guys know your time is just spread so thin that it's like. Like, how do you even add that on? And then you have a child. Like, Scotty takes up a lot of time.
Allison
I forgot about her.
Unknown Host 5
A real.
Isaac
We don't throw that real.
Allison
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Isaac
Like, I am. I take care of myself.
Unknown Host 5
Yeah. Liter.
Isaac
No, but it adds so much time and, like, I don't know. So we'll see. Tbd.
Unknown Host 5
Yeah. Maybe when Scotty's a little older.
Allison
Yeah, yeah.
Unknown Host 5
When she's not running around anymore. But you guys are one of my favorite couples in the world, and we love you guys. No, we literally love you. Like, I want everyone to hear the story of how you guys met.
Allison
Ooh, Isaac, take it away and I'll fill in the parts that you forget.
Isaac
Well, so. So I'm, like, going to be like, so. And you're going to already go.
Allison
Yeah.
Isaac
But so basically, like, when I was at Notre Dame, I didn't really go out that much my first year, regrettably. Like, I should have, but I didn't for a number of reason. And I was hosting, like, recruits. This was going into, like, the beginning of my second year, and I was like, whatever, I'll take them out again. Didn't really grow out that much. And she was just down visiting with her sister who was dating a guy on the football team. And we just met at a party. Like, it's super simple, honestly. She had. I was just telling Mubi and them she had on Tim's and a crop top. And I was like, I've never seen a white girl with a crop top. And Tim's on.
Unknown Host 5
Tim's in a crop top.
Allison
Like, what about. I don't know why I chose that, but I did. I guess I'm happy. Happy I did. Because it was. Yeah.
Isaac
Yeah. And so then, you know, put a little work in and. No, we started dating two weeks later. It was cool.
Allison
Yeah. Really quick.
Unknown Host 4
Two weeks later.
Allison
It was like love at first sight. We. Our first conversation, we talked about love at first sight and, like, if we believe it's real and.
Isaac
But two weeks is crazy. That's, like, very, like, you know, like puppy love. Like, you just.
Allison
We were 90.
Isaac
Like, it was. Yeah, it was very, like, innocent. Like, because to date somebody, too, that's like, you're in high school and you're like, two weeks after, and you're so young.
Unknown Host 5
Yeah.
Isaac
Yeah. It's crazy. We were 19. That seems like a different lifetime, but.
Allison
Either way, loving ago.
Isaac
Two weeks later, started dating and. Yeah, 11 years ago.
Unknown Host 5
Wow. And was there like, did you date.
Allison
The whole 11 years minus four months?
Isaac
Yeah, we had like, we had period minus four months.
Allison
Yeah, we took like, we took a break. It was like your first year in the NFL. I just think there was so, I.
Isaac
Mean, you and long distance.
Allison
Just like long distance, but also like, when you start dating at 19, like, you change so much from the age of 19 to like 24. And I feel like we both became so codependent on each other so that I think it was really good for us to take a break. Break. We literally didn't talk for the entire four months.
Unknown Host 5
And was it like a break you guys were intending to get back together?
Allison
So we had a trip to Bali booked.
Isaac
It's just crazy.
Allison
And it was not refundable. So we knew it was like my.
Isaac
First off season trip. And like, yeah, that's crazy.
Allison
So we knew no matter what, we would see each other because we were literally going to Bali.
Unknown Host 2
Already spent the money. You gotta go.
Allison
Yeah, I'm like, whatever.
Isaac
No, it's crazy. We literally hadn't talked and, like, showed up and we were flying the next day to go.
Unknown Host 5
Wait, what was it like seeing each other for the first time? Were you like, I miss you so much.
Unknown Host 2
Nervous?
Allison
Oh, I was playing. I was playing. Like, I didn't care. I was like, oh, hi.
Isaac
She was super, like, for school, like, little nonchalant.
Allison
I didn't want him to think I cared.
Unknown Host 2
But you did, but.
Allison
Oh, absolutely.
Isaac
I mean, wow, that's crazy to think that's like one of those memories you just erase. It's a good trip, though.
Allison
Yeah. But I feel like it was so good because we were so codependent on each other. And then we, like, grew separately for like a few months and, like, were not as codependent. So then when we got back together, I felt so good about, okay, like, this is what I want to do. And like, if Isaac aligns with that, that's great. If he doesn't, then he doesn't.
Isaac
Yeah, it's just like the classic, like, break.
Allison
Sounds way more healthy. I was definitely depressed for a second. I was like. I was like in the shower on the floor, like, crying.
Unknown Host 2
There's the oversharing.
Allison
Thank God I did not have a tick tock because I would have been like, just sad, right?
Isaac
Yeah, it's kind of cool.
Unknown Host 2
Four months for me.
Isaac
I mean, look, this is weird. I know. Ally's a catch. Like, there's there's levels to, like, meeting people and, like, so I feel like I kind of knew we were gonna get back together.
Allison
Tell me that you were sad.
Isaac
I was sad. I was devastated. Yeah. That was like a pretty layup answer, right? I'm like, going into it, it's like, no, I was sad.
Allison
I blocked him on Instagram and everything. And then all of a sudden I. Yes, I did not want to see you.
Unknown Host 5
One question. How long were you dating before the four month break?
Allison
Oh, a few years.
Unknown Host 5
Oh, so it was like, devastating.
Isaac
Did I? Yeah, it was devastating. But did I?
Allison
Are you sure?
Isaac
I don't think I blocked you.
Allison
No, I definitely blocked you. But then I remember seeing one of his friends posting in a club in Paris and I had a tough night. I had a tough.
Unknown Host 5
Oh, I would have had a tough night.
Isaac
You called me.
Allison
Yeah.
Unknown Host 4
Oh, you called.
Allison
I was like, I bet you're hooking up with girls.
Isaac
We have a.
Allison
We have a little bit of a toxic relationship background. Like, everyone's like, wow, you guys are like, such goals. I'm like, it took a second to get here.
Unknown Host 4
Like, right?
Isaac
So, like, when you. I finished my first season and like, everybody, you take your first off season trip because you finally, like, for the first time in your football life, you have some time off. So. And plan a boys trip. Yeah. And money. And plan a boys trip to Paris and then we go to London after. That's crazy because we were in Paris. You saw that video. We left the next day to go to London.
Allison
And I'm like, it was 4am in a Paris club. And I was like, what are you doing at 4am in a Paris club?
Isaac
I'm on the phone with my boy. Like, my boys are in the Airbnb. Like, they're like, bro, y'all are broken up.
Allison
Like, what's like, Isaac, you weren't supposed to tell them that you're on the phone with me.
Unknown Host 5
Don't tell them that. That's so embarrassing.
Isaac
What was I supposed to say? Whatever. That's crazy, though. This is like, new information to me. Oh, shoot.
Allison
Yeah, it was so sad.
Isaac
So, yeah, we did break.
Unknown Host 5
And then so after B, I got.
Allison
Really skinny during that time, so.
Unknown Host 5
Oh, slay.
Allison
Yeah.
Isaac
And then it was like, by any means necessary.
Unknown Host 5
Yeah.
Unknown Host 2
So when you guys got back after that four months and went on that Bali trip, how quick was it like, all right, we're going to get back together. Like, was it right away when you saw each other in the airport or did it take after the trip?
Allison
Oh, no, no.
Isaac
After the trip. We went back to not together.
Unknown Host 2
Oh, wow.
Unknown Host 5
Oh, okay.
Allison
Yeah.
Isaac
So I actually don't know if we ever talked about the full details, but.
Unknown Host 2
Yeah, well, this is a place to.
Isaac
Do it like this.
Unknown Host 5
This is the platform.
Allison
Yeah, we. Well, we. When we went to B, I feel like I was in a transition period where I was about to graduate college and still so young. So young. And so I. I was applying to jobs in California, and I. I feel like I kind of got back into the toxic part, and I was like, hold up. And then you were like, I don't want to be with you still. I was like, okay, here's my heart just ripped out. So it. It took me moving to la.
Isaac
Yeah, she moved to la, like, with us. Not dating, lived in la, and I was living in Orange county. And then we ended up, like, slowly.
Allison
And then I was like, wait, maybe I don't want to be with him because he's kind of acting like a douchebag.
Isaac
Yeah, this guy's a loser.
Allison
So I had food poisoning. He came up to my apartment. He was like, you should just go to a restaurant. Like, just get better. And I was like, I was tripping.
Isaac
This is, like, a weirdly specific example. Yes, I was tripping.
Allison
I was like, no, I think he's toxic.
Unknown Host 2
But guys are. Guys are, like, pretty dumb at the start of relationships.
Isaac
Why, when you're young? Because how old are you?
Unknown Host 2
I'm 23.
Isaac
Yeah, see? Like 23.
Unknown Host 2
Yes. Right now, there's a lot of the time where Gabby lets me know I'm being dumb. You know what I mean? And I got to be like, I probably am. I probably. So. No, I think it's. I think it takes guys longer to emotionally mature than it does for women.
Isaac
I think, like, every guy. This is a radical statement. But I feel like most guys are really selfish when they're young. When they're 23, most guys are selfish, and you either grow out of it and become, like, a man, or you don't grow out of it and you become like a grown man who's like, douchebag. A douchebag, truly. And you're like, this dude is toxic. And so it's kind of like there's two roads. But I feel like it's a struggle for men. Luckily, I grew out of it.
Unknown Host 2
Slap you around a little bit.
Allison
I was like, wait, maybe I don't want to be with him. And I feel like when I made that switch in my head, I was like, wait, I deserve better than this. I feel like. Then you were like, wait, I, like, need to, like, step up.
Isaac
Totally. It's funny because people always. And this. I'll just hype Allie up. People are always like, oh, like, why do you feel like you treat Ali so well? And I'm always like, she's like, has a high standard, like, and which I think is super important, like, for women to have, like, have a high standard. Because, like, I do feel like guys, men will, like, they'll, like, step up. They'll do what they need to do. Like, if they really love the woman, like, they'll do what they need to do. And that's what I feel like she does. But, yeah, at the time, no, I was kind of being a bummy boy. But that's all right.
Unknown Host 2
So how long after Bali until you guys officially?
Isaac
Like, a few months.
Unknown Host 2
A few months.
Isaac
And then it's just been. The rest has been smooth.
Allison
I mean, with a child now you're like, so are you guys fake online? Like, how are you guys? Like, yeah, he's so toxic. Like, I really don't. Yeah, no.
Unknown Host 2
Got a baby for views.
Allison
Yeah, exactly. Like, we did the whole shebang. But I feel like there was so much growth that I feel like we've all just kept growing in our relationship. And even now I feel like, like it just keeps getting better.
Isaac
It's also crazy because, like, our social media career, we have been married, like, most of the time. Like, we didn't even really post anything about our wedding on social media because we didn't have, like, following a following like that. And it's just so crazy that, like, we have this whole other life pre social media. Like, most of my NFL career, our relationship.
Allison
Yeah.
Unknown Host 5
What was it like dating an NFL player? Was it really hard just with all the traveling and stuff?
Allison
No, I thought it was cool. Yeah. Honestly, I thought it was so cool.
Isaac
Like, she was in college.
Allison
Leaving my college, sorry, professors, I'm going to miss the exam. Like, my boyfriend's getting drafted. The NFL. Like, I. I thought it was so cool and it was just such a fun experience. Like, getting to go to all these games, getting a. A reason to travel. Like, I don't know.
Isaac
Yeah, there's like a. And you guys have experienced this. There's, like, a special moment in, like, blowing up or, like, becoming popular or becoming a professional athlete. Like, there's this golden era where it just. Everything feels, like, so cool. Like, this is crazy. And like, we. That's when you were like a fifth year senior, like, going through that where you're like, everything is cool. Every event. Like, we Were going because I was with Roc Nation. We were going, like, Grammy branches and, like.
Allison
And Beyonce was there and, like, Jay Z.
Isaac
And we're just like, this is crazy.
Unknown Host 5
In college.
Allison
Yeah.
Unknown Host 5
Insane. And everything feels so fresh and new and so exciting when it's like, your first time doing those things.
Allison
Yeah.
Isaac
It's uncharted territory.
Unknown Host 5
Yeah, exactly.
Isaac
So you're like, this is crazy. So, yeah, we. That was fun. I was like, a. Cool.
Allison
Yeah. I look back at my life, I'm like, wow, this is, like, been so fun.
Unknown Host 5
You guys have seen each other through so many stages of life, which is cool.
Allison
It was so interesting.
Isaac
Like, yeah, definitely thankful that we can, like, go to events and stuff together. Like, both, like, in a relationship, but, like, mutuals and, like, creator space. Like, we get invited individually to, like, the same event, which I was using.
Allison
That we were mutuals. I'm like, yeah, I'm pretty sure we follow each other.
Isaac
Yeah. Maybe that wasn't the right word, but you know what I mean? Like, we both get invited individually, which I think is super rare. Yeah. And unique.
Allison
So. Yeah. So many fun stages. The college stage, the NFL stage, the. Not the stage.
Isaac
Yeah. It's wild.
Unknown Host 5
Yeah. Now you guys have a baby.
Allison
Yeah.
Isaac
A whole child. Does having a child seem like another life to you guys?
Unknown Host 5
Yes.
Isaac
You're like, yeah. Could you imagine having a child right now?
Unknown Host 5
No. And I talked to you guys, and I shouldn't. You just don't seem like, like, you know what I mean? Like, I feel like every parents like that, though. I know, but it just. I'm like, oh, no, they have a baby.
Allison
No. Yeah, we fully have a child. It's weird because I don't really remember, like, being pregnant, so I'm like, wow. Like, when I look at her, I'm like, I grew her bones.
Unknown Host 5
It's so.
Isaac
This is so big. It is. And when you're going through it, it's really weird. Like, bro, you're 23. Like, the thought of a child at 23.
Unknown Host 2
But I'm excited to be a dad. I'm like, super.
Isaac
Yeah. I feel like you're gonna be a great dad. I'm. I feel like he's gonna be a girl dad.
Unknown Host 2
Oh, I hope so. I think I could. I want to have two boys and two girls. That's what I want. I want four, two and two. I want to be like. I've always. I've. I've said this to Bri a couple times, like, so many times. But my. I. I feel like my goal is to, like, be set up by 28. So then I can just be a stay at home dad, play golf, live on a golf course, coach my kids in all their sports. And that's like what?
Isaac
Oh, you want to be the coaching everything dad?
Unknown Host 2
I want to be the coach dad. My dad.
Isaac
Me too. I'm like judging you, but I'm like, yeah, me too.
Unknown Host 2
My dad was a coaching everything type of dad too.
Isaac
But like what's your coaching personality in that scenario?
Unknown Host 5
Yeah, what is your type of coach?
Unknown Host 2
I mean, I'm not gonna be like showing any favoritism to my kid.
Isaac
Probably the reverse.
Allison
Are you gonna make something?
Unknown Host 5
Yeah. You're gonna be too hard on them. Don't do that.
Unknown Host 2
I'm not gonna make them not enjoy going to sports.
Unknown Host 5
Okay.
Unknown Host 2
There's like a fine line. But I'm also not gonna like let my kid be that like coaches kid on the team. That sucks. You know what I'm starting for? Just because the letter C. Because like they're the coach's kid. Yeah, he's benching.
Isaac
I would totally my kid.
Unknown Host 2
I would 100% bench my kid.
Isaac
But you say that. But in this scenario you're also forgetting you have a wife, you have a. You're going home to have dinner and you're just going to bench some quiet. Going to be like, bro, what are you doing?
Unknown Host 2
No, there's going to be quiet car rides home. There were quiet car rides for me on the way home from sp.
Isaac
Oh, he's a dog all right.
Unknown Host 3

Allison
Oh, my God. His dad is the most adorable human on the planet.
Isaac
Yeah.
Allison
Like, drives semi trucks, like, does long loads, and we'll just show up at the game.
Unknown Host 5
And I love that.
Isaac
Yeah, yeah. No, he's a beast. But, like, so I go back and forth where it's like, do you. Do I want to be, like, fully?
Unknown Host 2
Yeah, because there is. It does. It's a different relationship now when you do have to. Because you do have to be equal to all the other kids on the team, too.
Unknown Host 5
Scotty gonna play football?
Allison
Oh, yeah.
Isaac
I don't. What is it even.
Allison
She's for sure no lion. I'm like, yeah, she's, like, in, like, flag football.
Isaac
Yeah, for sure.
Allison
She's an athlete. I don't know. She's, like, body checking already.
Unknown Host 5
I'm, like, terrified she's gonna be a D1 athlete.
Allison
Oh, yeah, she. Yeah, she, like, started walking at, like, ten and a half months and, like.
Isaac
Quick, which is running. Josh is, like, quick. I'm like, josh, you don't have kids. You're 23. You don't know if that's quick.
Unknown Host 2
That seems really quick, right? He's like, that's impressive.
Isaac
Ten and a half months is above average.
Allison
Yeah.
Isaac
Like, normal is probably around a year.
Unknown Host 5
It's quick.
Allison
Yeah. I think.
Isaac
No, I'm messing with you. But you're right. He's like, yes.
Unknown Host 2
Have some super quick, man. Little thing like that, just running around.
Isaac
Yeah, she's. She's definitely impressive.
Allison
Yeah. She's not even scared of the dog. Like, we have two big golden retrievers, and they knock her over all the time, and she just gets right back up, and she's just running after them. I'm like, oh, this is adorable. Yeah. So I know she'll be a great athlete.
Unknown Host 5
What has been. That's good. What has been, like, the best. The best part about being new parents.
Allison
Oh. I mean, honestly, I think it's been. I mean, seeing Isaac become a dad, I think it's such an interesting. Like, I thought I knew so much about him, and then he's all of a sudden handed a baby in a pink blanket at the hospital, and they're like, okay, see ya. And just seeing him, like, this switch turn on has been so fun and interesting, and I think that, like, it's just Fun being a parent.
Isaac
Yeah, it is. Well, it's like we were talking about the uncharted territory with careers. It's the same with having a kid. Like, it's just like this new level of life unlocked that you're like, whoa, now I understand why parents are like, this is the best thing ever.
Unknown Host 2
Yeah.
Isaac
Because like, when you don't have a kid or even when you first have a kid, like when she was first born, I don't know that I had that moment that was like, this is the best thing ever.
Unknown Host 5
Yeah.
Isaac
But then you're like, wait, now I'm really falling in love with this little thing. And like, I don't know, then it becomes really special. So it's been awesome.
Allison
Yeah.
Unknown Host 5
I want a kid.
Unknown Host 2
See, my parents always said, like, life doesn't start until you have kids.
Isaac
I get. I get that now. Yeah.
Allison
Yeah. I think it just makes like the most mundane things every day so much more enjoyable. Like waking up in the morning and like, if, let's say I sleep in and like, you and Scotty are in the kitchen, like making breakfast, I'm like, oh, I just love this.
Isaac
It feels so wholesome. Yeah, it's. Yeah, it's just like making break. Yeah, but it is like that. It's great.
Allison
Great.
Unknown Host 2
I feel like you also get to like, relive everything you've done now through your kids eyes.
Allison
Christmas this year.
Unknown Host 5
Oh my gosh. It was probably super fun.
Isaac
And she doesn't really know what's going on, but it's still fun.
Allison
Well, she's the first grandchild on my family's side, so everybody's eyes lit up again this Christmas. It's like Christmas magic is back. Like Santa's back. So, like, this girl had so many presents, I was like, what about me? I'm like, no, you're. Oh, yeah. My parents, they got us to be practical. Wine glasses. I'm like, I love this. But like, what about like, guitar here? Like, can I get like a video game again?
Isaac
Bring me back to we days.
Allison
But like, getting to. Getting to like go and look for a Christmas tree with her. It's just like all the memories that you had as a kid that you're like, it brings a magic back.
Isaac
Yeah.
Unknown Host 5
Kids are just so magical. Oh, now I get why you want to have so many right now.
Allison
Okay, three. How many do you want to have?
Unknown Host 5
I think I want to have like five. I don't know.
Unknown Host 2
Oh, you love lips flop though, dude. You also be like, I don't want any kids.
Unknown Host 5
Well, I. I go back and forth. I don't know, 0 or 50 or 5.
Isaac
0 to 5. It's. I mean, that's quite literally the range. Yeah, you're at zero now. So it's.
Unknown Host 5
Yeah, I can acquire one, like, along the way.
Unknown Host 2
Acquire one?
Unknown Host 5
I would just, like, find one.
Allison
I.
Unknown Host 2
You can't do that.
Allison
Oh, yeah. I show. I was showing off my C section. Scarlet.
Isaac
These sections are intense.
Allison
It's just like my party trick. I'm like, look like a child came out of here.
Isaac
I can just imagine you guys on Necker island and you're just, like, drunk.
Unknown Host 2
Like, look at the video.
Allison
Oh, yeah, I was showing the video.
Isaac
Oh, God. It's like, how drunk is Allie? Okay, the video's out. She's there. We're there. We're there. Yeah. No, it was crazy. I had never. I've never had surgery, so, like. Like, I was in this operating room, and she. She's always like, you.
Allison
Isaac claims to have ptsd. I'm like, it wasn't your birth. You can't have PTSD from something that didn't happen to you. You're just present.
Isaac
I think it's so impressive. Women giving birth, like, it's wild. I don't care. C section. Natural birth, whatever.
Unknown Host 5
All your organs have to come out and stuff. Like, it's crazy.
Allison
Yeah.
Isaac
No. And then the doctor goes, what do.
Allison
My intestines look like?
Isaac
The doctor was like, all right, dad, like, get your camera out. You ready? And like, I, like, peek over the curtain, and it's like, my bro. I don't. I just need to see the baby. Like, that's it. Like, bro, you look over and there's, like, blood everywhere. And I'm like, well, this is.
Unknown Host 5
And you're awake for it, right?
Isaac
Yes, wide awake.
Allison
Is it some.
Unknown Host 2
Some people get, like, epidermal or something like that.
Unknown Host 5
The drug epidural. But that's not for a C section.
Allison
No, it's a. No, you get.
Isaac
It is an epidural. It is.
Allison
Wait, it's called something else. No, it's something else. When you have a C section, it's like a block or something.
Isaac
A nerve block.
Allison
It's a nerve block. But the craziest thing.
Isaac
You.
Unknown Host 1
You're.
Isaac
You're right. You feel that?
Allison
It just doesn't hurt.
Unknown Host 5
What?
Allison
So there. Like, you can feel that. Like, literally, he put, like, a scalpel on my stomach. Do you feel that? And I was like, yeah.
Isaac
And then they just start. And she's talking.
Unknown Host 4
What?
Unknown Host 5
The.
Allison
The guy.
Isaac
The guy. Anesthesiologist was. Was sitting there because she's laid back. There's a curtain. And he's like, right here. And they're chatting. I'm like, bro, this is a lot.
Unknown Host 5
And what are you talking about?
Allison
Some people get.
Isaac
That's what I like.
Allison
Anxiety meds. Right. To make you a little loopy.
Isaac
I was like, she was in there for some reason.
Allison
I was like, I'm going in crunchy. So I was like. Like, I don't want anything except for nausea. I was like, give me all the Zofran you could give me because I do not want to throw up. So I was fully present. Like, I was fully aware.
Unknown Host 5
Oh, my goodness.
Isaac
Yeah. The anesthesiologist is like, how you feeling? Do you need any. I'm like, we're mid.
Unknown Host 2
You're about to ask for some of the anesthesia just to get through it.
Isaac
Well, let me. Let me preface you.
Allison
Got anything back there?
Isaac
I would never. And it's funny you bring that up. I would never be the dad who's, like, in the room, like, passing out. Like, I'm like. I would go down swinging. Yeah.
Unknown Host 2
Like, the dad's just.
Isaac
Just falls.
Unknown Host 5
Right?
Isaac
Yeah. You don't need to be the main character in the room. Yeah, yeah. You want to be in the background. But it was. It was crazy.
Allison
But it's crazy to me is, like, when you. I'm like, can you picture a C section? Like, what it would look like?
Unknown Host 5
Yeah.
Allison
But, like, your stomach is not that far away from your face.
Unknown Host 5
Yeah.
Allison
So, like. Yeah, that.
Isaac
That you're right, was wild.
Allison
There's a lot of tugging, pulling, and then they're just like, simba, the baby. That's mine.
Unknown Host 5
That's. And it's just. It got cut out of me.
Allison
Yeah.
Isaac
Literally, that's, like, type thing now. It's just deep diving the bird process.
Allison
She was breached. So, like, her head was stuck up in, like, my ribs. So they were, like, pushing on my stomach. So I'm just being tugged like a rag doll.
Isaac
Like, wait, no, it was.
Allison
I was crying.
Isaac
I was like, I'm scared.
Unknown Host 5
Did it hurt? I always actually never asked this question the next day. Does it hurt?
Allison
So a lot of you were a trooper. Some hospitals don't do this, but they gave me a stomach block, so I didn't feel my stomach till, like, day three.
Unknown Host 5
Oh, okay.
Allison
Highly recommend if you're getting a C section to do that. But they make you stand 12 hours after surgery. You have to stand and, like, walk. And I was like, this feels weird because, like, my guts are like, oh, now where they're supposed to be.
Unknown Host 5
Wow.
Isaac
It's a lot. And then she went back in the hospital two weeks later. Unrelated to the C section, it was because of a infection in her intestines.
Allison
I have to say that I didn't poop for ten days.
Unknown Host 5
Oh, whoa.
Allison
Like, why are you bringing that up?
Unknown Host 5
He was like, I didn't want to out you.
Isaac
Like, think. Think about what you were doing 10 days ago. Like, 10 days worth of.
Unknown Host 5
Ouch. Oh, my God. Like, your intestines were impacted. Yeah.
Unknown Host 2
Did you have, like, a world record?
Isaac
Like, did they, like, that's. That's a really good question, because I don't know that.
Allison
No, unfortunately, no.
Isaac
Oh. Either way. So it wasn't the one of the.
Allison
Ones that you're like, should I take a picture of it? Is that, like, a universal experience?
Unknown Host 2
Yeah, for sure.
Isaac
Everybody, like, yeah, does this.
Allison
Like, there's always when you're, like, questioning, you're like.
Isaac
You're like, the baby's not right there.
Unknown Host 2
I was just. Send it to my girlfriend. I'll video. And I flush it, and then I put it in reverse. So it starts as a clean toilet, and then it comes up out of the toilet.
Isaac
Wait, that's actually. It's hilarious.
Unknown Host 2
And it works, like, a lot now. She kind of knows that they're coming, but, like, the first, like, three or four times, she's like. Like, her. The start would be like, why are you sending me a video of the clean to.
Allison
Oh, my God.
Isaac
Oh, God. It's like the links. Like, you know, you click the link and.
Unknown Host 2
Yeah, like, that one.
Isaac
Yeah. But that was like. That was like, one of the darker, like, that period of just going back in the hospital every. That was, like, dark.
Allison
I discharged on Christmas Eve, so I literally was like, okay.
Isaac
And you don't. You don't. You're a new parent. You don't know what you're doing as a parent. So your baby's 10 days old.
Allison
No.
Isaac
And you're, like, back in the hospital. It was crazy, but I was thankful for it because I feel like I learned a lot because I was with Scotty by myself for, like, a day while you were in the hospital.
Allison
And I made them wait in the car. And so I just have my newborn and my husband out in the car.
Isaac
I'm like, I felt like, you guys can go home.
Allison
I think, like, this feels wrong.
Isaac
What's the movie with Will Smith where he was selling bone density machines? Oh, oh.
Unknown Host 5
Pursuit of Happiness.
Isaac
That's. I felt like that.
Unknown Host 2
And it was one day.
Isaac
Yeah.
Unknown Host 2
Andrew at home to Go.
Isaac
It's like a super nice car. No, but I was, like, in the car. Just, like, with a newborn.
Allison
Just like, Isaac's acting like he's struggling. I'm like, in.
Isaac
They lived in a bathroom.
Allison
You might die. And Isaac's like, I'm struggling in the car.
Isaac
This goes back to the.
Allison
Oh, my God. Have you ever been to the ER at 3:00am?
Isaac
No.
Allison
Oh, my Dark times.
Isaac
But I was just, like, in the car again. I was gonna say this goes back to the men being selfish. Like, I'm just thinking about it through my perspective.
Allison
You have ptsd. For my birth, it was a hard time. When I got an infection, I'm like, man, he's really been through it. Otherwise, huh? How did your breastfeeding journey go?
Isaac
No, Ali's a beast. Seriously. That's why I say I think all women are so impressive. Like, the process and, like, the hormone changes you have to go through. Like, your body's just all over the place.
Allison
Yeah, I was a bitch there for a second.
Unknown Host 5
Was it, like, really natural to you right away to be a mom, or did you. Did you not feel it?
Allison
Yeah, I think there's a natural part, but then there's also all these outside opinions that make you second guess yourself, especially online.
Unknown Host 5
Yeah.
Allison
Yeah, absolutely. So I feel like it wasn't until, like, a few months in that I was like, wait, I. I just need to, like, follow my intuition. And that's where I feel like I finally got, like, a groove. I was like, okay, I know what she wants. I know how to do this. I know how to put her down. Okay, this is what I feel about this. And I think it's. That's just how people like the outside opinions. Everyone's like, oh, no, do this, but don't. Like, so many contradicting opinions. So when I really leaned into myself, I was like, okay, maybe I'm better at this than I thought I was.
Isaac
Yeah, you're supernatural.
Allison
Yeah. But you also, as a mom, you're constantly feeling like you're failing.
Isaac
Like, Ali's the type, though. Like, you just have all the information. You know how, like, you ask your mom questions and, like, you're like, how do you know everything? Yeah, like, that's how I feel with Ally. I'm like, how do you know this?
Allison
Yeah, it's actually when you give birth, they give you a shot that makes you.
Isaac
Oh, nice. It's an injectable. Nice. No, but she'll just know. Like, oh, like when we were, like, switching over to solids, like, you had all the Information. And then you're like, oh, she should do that by 14 months. And I'm like, where do you, like, are we doing?
Unknown Host 5
Just read a bunch of.
Isaac
What side of TikTok are you on?
Allison
Like, changes very quickly.
Unknown Host 4
Oh, nice.
Allison
Yeah.
Isaac
You're like, haven't. Haven't been there. I've been to that side of TikTok.
Allison
You're like, no, I'm not on that side of Tick tock. But honestly, TikTok has been. So. Yeah, I was just talking about it today. Like the ban. I was scared about losing the community. Yeah, I'm like, there's so much knowledge and like, people talk about stuff that isn't on Google. Like, tell me the real shit. So I think that was helpful too.
Isaac
Well, it's like, takes information and like, turns it into experience. Like, you. You hear and see what people are going through and like, learn from it. But yeah, Ali is supernatural with it. It's actually so. It's actually inspiring is the word. Yeah, it's intense.
Unknown Host 5
That's awesome.
Unknown Host 4
Would you look at that.
Unknown Host 5
Reporting live back from London. Quick commercial break.
Unknown Host 4
Hey, no, I'm not gonna do that to you guys.
Allison
Hey.

Allison
Yeah.
Isaac
Yeah.
Unknown Host 5
How many? Oh, we didn't even ask you guys. How many do you want?
Unknown Host 2
We're over here being like, we're gonna have four.
Isaac
We're gonna have five, zero, or five.
Allison
Okay.
Isaac
What do you. Give us a countdown. We'll both say our answers.
Unknown Host 2
All right. Three, two, one.
Isaac
Four.
Unknown Host 5
Nice.
Isaac
See, four is a good. Because I usually said three, and now I've gone up.
Allison
I see. I was gonna say three, and I was like, actually, I think four.
Unknown Host 5
I think we were landing on four.
Allison
Yeah.
Unknown Host 2
Would you know what you want, like, guy girl ratio if.
Allison
If you could pick, I. I would be totally okay with all girls. That would be. I also know.
Isaac
Yeah.
Allison
Yeah.
Isaac
The only thing that I think about with all girls is I always picture the dad who's, like, 60, and all his girls are hanging out, and he's just, like, sitting there drinking, like, not involved in the combo. You know? You can picture that dad where he's just, like, on his phone with his glasses, and you're like, this dude has not had a combo in years. Like, he's.
Unknown Host 2
He hasn't been able to talk about the sport.
Allison
Isaac would be drinking the barefoot wine, sitting there with his daughters, like, chopping it up. Like, you know, what's the T? What's the four?
Isaac
I get into it, but I. I would like going to the next kid. Like, I would wait till game day to figure out the gender.
Allison
I think I could go in blind.
Isaac
I would go on, because I don't care.
Allison
Yeah, for sure.
Isaac
As soon as we could, literally 10.
Allison
Weeks, I was like, tell me what it is.
Isaac
But now it's like, I. I always wanted a girl. Now that I have a girl.
Allison
We wanted a girl, like, so bad for our first child, but.
Isaac
But I'm curious how big a guy would be. Like, because we're both.
Allison
But you're not even calling him a boy already how big the guy would be. I'm like, he's gonna walk out of my body with the helmet on.
Unknown Host 2
You know what I mean?
Isaac
I'm just curious, like, that's. That's what would be tight. But he also could not care about athletics. Like, who knows? Yeah. But I'm just curious, like, how big would. Six, five. And he'd be so big guy. Yeah. Yeah. That'd be crazy.
Unknown Host 2
You guys could have a. Just, like, a volleyball team.
Allison
No, Literally.
Unknown Host 5
Oh, my God.
Allison
Yeah. Yeah.
Unknown Host 2
You could just have a full volleyball team in your house.
Unknown Host 5
You need a volleyball court in the new house.
Allison
Y. Yeah, I'm like, shooting like.
Isaac
Yeah, we got to upgrade. Wow.
Unknown Host 5
Already backyard one.
Allison
Yeah.
Isaac
But it's crazy because, like, there's no scenario where a kid would be like, not huge.
Allison
No. No chance.
Isaac
Because it's not like you're short and it's like, oh, maybe they'll get your jeans. Like, we're both pretty big and our parents. Family that's taller than me.
Allison
Nobody in our families are shorter than what, five, ten?
Isaac
Yeah.
Unknown Host 5
Oh, wow. You guys have just crazy.
Isaac
That's true. No girl or guys shorter than 5:10. Man. That's. Wow.
Allison
Wow.
Unknown Host 5
Giant family.
Isaac
Yeah. It's like, I'm here. I love the first time it's grow.
Unknown Host 2
Up to be taller than you guys.
Allison
No, they probably will be.
Isaac
Yeah.
Unknown Host 5
Because you guys will start shrinking eventually because you'll be getting old.
Allison
Yeah.
Unknown Host 5
Scotty's gonna be to the sky.
Unknown Host 2
Yeah.
Allison
No, honestly. And she's probably gonna get bullied for being tall because I did.
Unknown Host 5
I did too. But you're taller than me. Yeah. They were like, do you want like five, nine?
Allison
Okay. That's tall enough for bullying.
Unknown Host 5
Yeah. It's definitely. No, it's tall enough at all.
Isaac
Early girls grow.
Unknown Host 5
I was tall early. Taller than all the boys.
Unknown Host 2
Just sit there from like grade six.
Isaac
Wow, she's short now.
Unknown Host 2
You know what I mean?
Allison
No, I was like five ten and for sure seventh grade.
Isaac
Yeah.
Unknown Host 5
Yeah.
Unknown Host 2
And then you just.
Unknown Host 5
Were you six foot?
Allison
Yes.
Unknown Host 5
How tall are you?
Allison
Whoa. Six feet.
Unknown Host 5
Six foot.
Isaac
Not me gassing it up or like.
Allison
Five, five, eleven and a half or something. I don't know.
Isaac
How tall are you? You're six two.
Unknown Host 2
I'm six foot one.
Isaac
Okay. Yeah, I gave you an answer.
Unknown Host 2
Yeah, you did.
Allison
But like a six foot one guy and a six foot girl, like, we might be the same height.
Unknown Host 2
Yeah.
Unknown Host 5
Yeah, maybe.
Unknown Host 2
You know what? I might be shorter. I might be like five, ten actually.
Allison
Like, are you a girl? So six foot? Yeah. But yeah. Height, heights. She's tall. I mean, she's in the 99.9 percentile. Yeah. So gosh.
Unknown Host 2
So how big was this baby when it came out?
Isaac
Nine pounds, Nine pounds, six ounces.
Allison
Yeah.
Isaac
So pretty sure that's a big baby, right?
Allison
That's a big baby.
Unknown Host 5
That's a big baby.
Allison
And she was born at 39 weeks. So, like, she, like, if I would have let her incubate two weeks longer.
Isaac
Cook a little bit longer.
Allison
Yeah. Cook a little.
Unknown Host 2
Coming out like £12.
Allison
Yeah.
Unknown Host 5
Like, comes out two years old.
Unknown Host 2
It's like a whole turkey.
Isaac
Dude. My God.
Unknown Host 4
God, he's really fast.
Unknown Host 2
A big Thanksgiving dinner.
Unknown Host 5
She just cuts open. She comes out.
Allison
No. Yeah.
Unknown Host 5
She likes the scalpel to the doctor.
Allison
So you need this. Yeah. Yeah, it's. She was big, but, like, me being tall. So you'll. You'll experience this. Is that I never really felt uncomfortably pregnant because I feel like I have a lot of space, a lot of real estate. So a short person is going to have a nine pound baby. I'm like, we're going to carry very.
Isaac
Differently or smaller, and it still would. Would look very different.
Allison
Exactly. So. But I love being pregnant.
Isaac
Does that seem weird? Like, you're being pregnant? Like, the thought of.
Unknown Host 5
I couldn't even. I couldn't even imagine. It's just like a baby in your belly.
Allison
When I found out I was pregnant, I was terrified.
Isaac
Everybody says it, but it's so weird that it. She just was built in your body.
Unknown Host 5
Yeah, I know. It actually makes me spiral when I think about it. And then I think, like, oh, my gosh, we just have, like, organs in us and they move around for Scottie to grow and there's bones in her body.
Allison
No, the first time, right. I was like, I need her to stop doing that. Because I was like, this is uncomfortable.
Isaac
Here's what trips me out is women have all their eggs, and so Scotty has all her eggs that Ally created.
Allison
To give her, like, at, like, 12 weeks pregnant. It tells you, like, you're creating your daughter. There's eggs, like, so I literally had.
Isaac
My grandchild, but then, like, she's got her eggs for her. It just, like, keeps going. You're like, that's super trippy to think about.
Allison
Biology.
Unknown Host 5
Crazy. Yeah.
Isaac
That's weird. I may not even be explaining it right, but that's so weird in my mind.
Allison
Well, egg sounds a little weird, but, like. Yeah.
Isaac
No, but it quite literally.
Allison
Yeah.
Isaac
Josh is like, I don't even know what's going on.
Unknown Host 2
Yeah, I got years up. I got years out.
Isaac
No, no, it's weird, though. We don't need to get off on that tangent. But it's trippy.
Unknown Host 5
No, it's. It's crazy. Well, you guys seem like incredible parents and you're awesome. Tell everyone where they can find you guys on social media or if you have anything coming up.
Allison
Yeah. Allison Cooch on social media. Sunday sports club podcast for sports. Where can they find me? Everywhere.
Unknown Host 5
She's literally everywhere. Everywhere. She's showing her C section. Everywhere.
Allison
You get me at the right time, you might.
Isaac
See you got the live. You got the live view, though.
Unknown Host 5
I know.
Isaac
You're the live.
Allison
Literally.
Isaac
Isaac, Rochelle, here's the deal. If you find her, you're gonna find me.
Unknown Host 5
They're a pair there.
Isaac
Yeah. So appreciate you guys having us on.
Unknown Host 5
This was a blast. Thank you, guys. I know you had to wrap, so I didn't want it to go too long.
Allison
Oh, no, it's fine.
Unknown Host 5
Okay.
Isaac
I do real quick. I love that watch. Ring.
Unknown Host 5
The ring watch.
Isaac
Oh, my God, that's so cool.
Unknown Host 5
Oh, damn it.
Unknown Host 2
The one time.
Unknown Host 5
We call one time.
Unknown Host 2
Come on.
Isaac
Yeah, that's actually wild. Do you use it to tell time?
Unknown Host 5
She does. I haven't set this one up.
Allison
Up.
Isaac
Wow.
Allison
My watch does not have the right time.
Isaac
No Apple watch, but yep.
Unknown Host 5
Go get a ring watch.
Isaac
It's super cool.
Unknown Host 2
It's not a sponsor, but that was.
Unknown Host 5
A good plug if it was, though.
Isaac
Yeah.
Allison
Knew it.
Isaac
Yeah. Maybe it'll come one day.
Unknown Host 5
Yeah, maybe. You just help me get a Brando.
Isaac
You're welcome.
Unknown Host 5
All right. Love you, BFFs.
Isaac
Peace.
Podcast Title: BFFs with Josh Richards and Brianna Chickenfry
Episode: ISAAC ROCHELL AND ALLISON KUCH BROKE UP FOR FOUR MONTHS? - BFFs S2 EP 9
Release Date: March 6, 2025
Host/Author: Barstool Sports
In this episode of BFFs with Josh Richards and Brianna Chickenfry, hosts Josh and Brianna welcome two special guests: Allison Kooch and Isaac Rochell. Allison and Isaac, a couple with an 11-year-long relationship, share their personal journey, including a recent four-month breakup and their experiences navigating life as new parents.
Allison and Isaac reminisce about their initial meeting during their college years. Isaac recounts:
"We met at a party. Yeah, she had on Tim's and a crop top. And I was like, I've never seen a white girl with a crop top."
(06:07)
Their connection was immediate, and within two weeks, they began dating. Allison adds:
"It was like love at first sight... Two weeks later, we started dating."
