It's Bigfoot Collectors Club with Michael and Ring. I know a story of high strangeness or two. Let's do this.
Michael McMillan
Hi, everybody. Welcome to Big Book Collectors Club, the show where we talk to amazing guests about their personal paranormal history and share stories of high strangeness. I'm your host, Michael McMillan. With me always is the minstrel of strange, Riley Bray. That sounds like a nickname you might have at a frat house. Let's be honest.
Riley Bray
Sounds like a. I don't know. I'm not sure about that one.
Michael McMillan
But that was submitted by our dear Patreon Christine over at bcc. The other side. So.
Riley Bray
You know what? I like it.
Michael McMillan
There you go.
Aaron Hayes
Sure.
Michael McMillan
Yeah.
Riley Bray
Our guests are just looking on, like, what is this new. Yeah, we haven't.
Michael McMillan
We have nicknames. We have nicknames for Riley. Super producer Riley every week now. Submitted by Patreon members, let's bring in those guests because they're sitting here staring blankly at us. We have two returning guests today. Up first is an actress you've seen in movies and shows like Bill and Ted, Face the music. Is it St. Denis? Is that how we're saying it? The new.
Aaron Hayes
Oh, I think no. Saint Denis.
Michael McMillan
Okay, great Saint Denis. I was putting a little Louisiana twist on it. The Goldbergs Children's Hospital. Maybe you've. Maybe you've heard of it. She has. Let's see. Too many legitimate credits to be making her fourth appearance on this podcast, a Bigfoot podcast, nonetheless. Aaron Hayes is back. Aaron, welcome.
Aaron Hayes
Oh, I'm happy to be back. So, so happy to grace you all with my friends.
Michael McMillan
Thank you. We feel graced and joining all of.
Aaron Hayes
My legitimate credit joining.
Michael McMillan
Erin is her longtime friend and now our longtime friend and author of the books the Cryptid Catcher and the Cryptid Keeper Club, Scouts of all timelines, please welcome back Leah Fisher.
Leah Fisher
Hi, everybody. I'm so excited to be here. I always say. Oh, sorry.
Michael McMillan
No, I was gonna say coming to us live from Las Vegas.
Leah Fisher
Yes, I'm in Vegas. That's what famous authors do. We just hang out in Vegas doing Bigfoot podcasts.
Michael McMillan
I love it.
Riley Bray
Yeah.
Michael McMillan
Is there any cryptid stuff in Vegas? I feel like Vegas is, like, a good place for, like, a, like, wax cryptid museum.
Leah Fisher
That's a really good question. I haven't seen. The closest cryptid thing I've seen is there is a little hidden bar here at the hotel called, I think the ski lodge. And if you go in there, which I haven't been yet, apparently there's a yeti walking around.
Michael McMillan
What?
Leah Fisher
Come on, get some hair samples when I go in there. And I'm going to get to the bottom of if this guy is real or not.
Michael McMillan
So you have to go to the bar where there's a yeti walking around.
Leah Fisher
Absolutely. I will get to it. Yes.
Michael McMillan
Is he serving, like, ski shots?
Leah Fisher
That's a very good question. I don't know if he's serving or just yeti ing. I'm not sure what his role is in the bar, but I bet you.
Aaron Hayes
Could pay him for something.
Riley Bray
Yeah, it is Vegas.
Aaron Hayes
He's accepting cash for some sort of service.
Michael McMillan
Yes, absolutely. Aaron, have you had any spooky things happened to you or Leah since we've last been on the show? Any personal paranormal updates we need to know about?
Aaron Hayes
Well, all of Hollywood has ghosted all of us. Does that count?
Michael McMillan
Yeah, it's spooky.
Aaron Hayes
We all got ghosted by Hollywood. Like, what?
Michael McMillan
Yeah, we woke up in an alternate timeline where the industry has collapsed and our country is soon followed.
Aaron Hayes
Ooh, spooky. So the answer. That's the comedic answer to real answer? No, sadly, no.
Michael McMillan
Like prophetic dreams or psychic. Whoa. Your glasses floating across the camera. Any prophetic dreams or. Or psychic visits or anything? Come on. Surely a tarot card reading spooked you out.
Aaron Hayes
I have a witchy. I have a witchy thing that happens sometimes where I hope the talking about it doesn't jinx it.
Michael McMillan
Okay.
Aaron Hayes
But like, every once in a while when I have dreams about bunnies, like, good things start happening.
Michael McMillan
Oh, I love this.
Aaron Hayes
Yeah. So, like, it was like a month or so ago or maybe two months ago, I had a dream where I was like, walking on a path, and I look down and I'm like, look at all the bunnies. There's so many bunnies. One is on my foot. And then it was like, literally, like, the next week, like, a job came my way, and then our house got booked for something.
Michael McMillan
Oh, hell, yeah.
Aaron Hayes
It was like, the bunnies somehow. And so I. But I can't seem to will myself to dream about the bunnies. I have to, like, forget about it. And then they just come. Yeah, that's like my little witchy thing that I believe in.
Michael McMillan
Yeah, no, I. I totally believe it. And you can't will it because it's a sign coming to you saying, hey, good things are right around the corner. Leah, do you have any good dream symbols that tell you there's something happening in your life?
Leah Fisher
Oh, man, do I. I went through a phase years ago when I was living in New York where I was having prophetic dreams. And I could tell when the dream was prophetic. Like, it just felt like a different dream. And I would have this really powerful dream about some worldwide event, and then two days later, it would be in the newspaper. And it was happening so frequently that I called a friend of mine and I said, I'm having these prophetic dreams. And he's like, there's no such thing. And I said, I'll tell you what, the next time I have a dream, I'm going to call you and I'm going to say, here's what the dream is. And then the next day, it'll be in the paper. So, like a week later, I had a prophetic dream. I called my friend. I was like, here's the dream.
Aaron Hayes
What was it?
Leah Fisher
Check the. So it was. This was back when a bunch of tankers were getting taken over by pirates. You know, like the Captain Phillips thing. But no. Well, I should say small boats were getting hijacked, but no big tankers. And I had a dream that there were a bunch of people on this huge ship firing machine guns. And I told my friend, there's a big ship and there's machine guns. And the next day in the paper, it was the first time that, like, a big ship had been taken over by pirates. And I was. And I called him. I was like, I told you. And it was in the paper. And he's like, ah, it's just a coincidence. And I was like, this is. There is magic in the world. There is magic, and nobody believes in it.
Michael McMillan
If you had lived during Elizabethan times, like, the Queen would have had you in her court as her like, dream, you know, prophecy person who would like, warn her when the Spanish Armada was on its way. Like, these are. This is a talent that is going to waste.
Aaron Hayes
They would have overdone on the sleeping potions and killed you. We need her sleeping all the time. We need to know what's happening. This is all we have. Give her some more.
Michael McMillan
Yeah, and you'd get into some plot with one of her Secret service agents who would like, try to murder her sister or something.
Leah Fisher
Absolutely. Instead, I'm just left sitting here telling friends my prophetic dreams and they're like, don't believe ya.
Riley Bray
Yeah, I mean, let us know if you have any dreams of like, asteroids or mushroom clouds and, you know, just, just give, give us a little head.
Leah Fisher
A little heads up. I'll let you know.
Aaron Hayes
How's it looking for the asteroid 2024?
Michael McMillan
Yeah, yeah.
Aaron Hayes
What do you think? 3%?
Riley Bray
We good on that?
Aaron Hayes
3%?
Michael McMillan
I hope so. I hope it, I hope it just nails us.
Aaron Hayes
I'd be fine. You know what? I will say this. I would, I've, I, I said this since I saw that movie. I. That is the way I choose to. I would choose.
Michael McMillan
Wait, which movie?
Aaron Hayes
Melancholia.
Michael McMillan
Oh, okay. I was like, deep Impact.
Aaron Hayes
All at once for everybody. No survivors. This experiment is done. Impact from space. Everybody's done. I don't want to be part of the road.
Michael McMillan
Oh, me neither.
Aaron Hayes
No, I do not want to be like, in part of the fucking walking dead. No, yeah.
Michael McMillan
No, no, no, let's just.
Aaron Hayes
Melancholia. Another planet hits our planet, we're all toast. I do. Nobody left to mourn. It's just like, hug everybody, have an orgy, and let's be done.
Michael McMillan
Don't rely on us. Restart civilization. We lost. We, we bombed it. Like, let the next weird species evolve and, you know, let's move on to the next dinosaurs, Whatever the next version is going to be like, let them, Let them have the planet for the next 175 million years. I'm with you. I'm with you. Okay. All right, let's get into it. Riley. We're going to do some L files today. But before we do, why don't we nominate our five star club Scout of the week? This is a friend who has given us a five star review on Apple Podcasts, which helps get the show to more people.
Riley Bray
Well, this is from Tinker Roon and the subject is the Beast of Bray Studio. I always like hearing about our local legends. I live close to Bray Road and take a ride down it whenever I have a chance. The only beast I've seen is the carved wooden one in someone else's yard. It's actually pretty impressive though. Five stars.
Michael McMillan
Thank you, Tinker. Answering the call for more five star reviews on Apple podcasts. I appreciate it. You know, there's nothing that I love more. Honestly, I'm being praise than a five.
Aaron Hayes
Star review, than a gold, little gold star.
Michael McMillan
Good job, buddy. I mean, I love a verbal validation, don't get me wrong, but I was gonna say, I mean, honestly, that is probably what I love the most. But what I love second most is Leah. I know you relate to this driving like anywhere on a road trip and you look over and there's like a chainsaw sculpture of Bigfoot on the like. Nothing gets me more excited and I'm like, okay, we're someplace fun. Somebody gets it here.
Leah Fisher
Absolutely. I've been snowshoeing in Colorado, like in the, you know, in the back country where there's no houses around, and all of a sudden I'll come across just a sign on a tree that says like bigfoot breeding area, be warned. And I'm like, who came out here? Who was like, I'm going to take my sign out into the wilderness and just put it on a tree and it's just fantastic.
Michael McMillan
Meanwhile, you, you walked past like a circle jerk of lumberjacks back there. You're like, how quaint. And then it's just like the most salacious thing happening in the backwoods of Colorado.
Aaron Hayes
I know that's not going to get any babies made.
Michael McMillan
Oh, well, you know, we don't know how Bigfoot does it.
Aaron Hayes
True.
Michael McMillan
We don't know. Okay, why don't we just take a break here and when we come back, we're gonna have some BCC news.
Aaron Hayes
Prime delivery is fast. How fast are we talking? We're talking puzzle toys and lick pad delivered so fast you can get this puppy under control fast. We're talking chew toys at your door without really waiting.

This was actually given to me, sent to me, texted to me by my dear sister. Shout out. Hello Sarah, this. Get ready, Riley. I forgot we got to queue it up. We have some BCC news. That bit's not getting old. Here we go. This comes from the Mirror, which is obviously a salacious tabloid. Salacious is the word of the day. Everybody out of the uk, but you know who else is going to cover stories like this? The headline reads, I was abducted by six foot aliens in terrifying ordeal after spotting UFO in the sky By Sarah Tullock. Bonnie Bridge, a quaint Scottish village has become the world's UFO capital with about 300 sightings each year, surpassing even Area 51 in Roswell and Noria and Norriety notoriety. Roswell doesn't have a lot of UFO sightings. So that's the thing.
Riley Bray
Just. Just the one, really.
Michael McMillan
Yeah. And that even that didn't even crash in Roswell. They just kept it there for like two days. Come on, everybody. Nestled within the so called Falkirk Triangle, Bonnie Bridge is a hub for extraterrestrial experiences, from alien abductions to sightings of cigar shaped spaceships. Bless you, Aaron. Bless you, Aaron. Hop over to YouTube.com epicfoot collectors club to watch Aaron sneeze. Dubbed the Roswell of Scotland and likened to the Bermuda Triangle for its mysterious allure as a potential portal to another dimension, this hotspot has drawn government scrutiny and prompted appeals to four prime ministers for assistance. All four, none of them answered these calls. No, just pick up the phone. No, hang up. Two friends claimed that they were abducted by six foot tall aliens. One chilling episode from 1992 involved friends Gary Wood and Colin Wright, who reported being captured by aliens in a flying saucer near Tar Brecks, South Lancashire. Great names. While delivering a satellite TV system at around 10pm, they encountered a black object in the sky, devoid of lights and round at the bottom. Segmented into three parts and measuring 30ft wide. The friends were stunned after blacking out for what they estimated was 10 to 15 seconds. When they regained consciousness, their car had completely spun round in the opposite direction. Checking the time, they had lost a whole hour. Secret government X files contain a two page report on what became known as the A70 incident, sent to the Ministry of Defense's UFO desk in 1996, four years after the encounter. Also, I love that this is BCC News from 1992.
Riley Bray
I thought it was not prompt, but we get there.
Michael McMillan
Yeah, so. Speaking previously to the Mirror about the bizarre episode, UFO expert Malcolm Robinson said days after the incident, both men found scars on their bodies that weren't there before. Their wives refused to believe them, their colleagues at work refused to believe them. And after looking up paranormal experiences in the local library, the friends found Malcolm, who suggested they had hypnosis with astounding results. Gary recalled, I saw three creatures coming towards my car. I felt intense pain, like an electric shock. Then I was in some room. I saw these things like wee men moving about, doing something to me. I could only see up. The six foot creature approached. It was white, gray in color, with a large head and dark eyes, with a long slender neck. Very slim shoulders and waist. There were either. There were either ribs or folds of skin on its body. First I was turned on, now I'm very turned off. The arms were like ours, but they were four very long. But there were four very long fingers. The Falkirk Triangle has reported a high number of UFO sightings since the early 90s, with witnesses describing everything from strange lights to fast moving, moving objects and even triangular craft hovering in the skies. Some people think that it's just Scotland's topography, the hills and the locks, which might contribute to the atmospheric events that create optical illusions. However, we hear BCC think otherwise. All right, Aaron, Leah. Six foot tall. Aliens. Wrinkles. Wrinkles instead of ribs, four fingers instead of five. What are your thoughts on what happened to Gary and Colin? And why won't their wives believe them? Huh?
Aaron Hayes
I mean, why not? I could. I could believe some skin flaps. Like fish. Like fish folding in on each other. Yeah, the gills almost, you know, I don't know. I mean, I think if nobody believes you, like, what are you. That's the. That's always my thing with these. It's like, what are they gaining when there's. There's more than one of them? So they're both like, corroborating their own stories, right? Both went gnosis, right? Is that what I am? I understand that, yeah. Like, so they're being like, made fun of. Everybody's being all, no, that's not true, you know, you liar. But like, everybody. And then they're like, no, it actually happened. I mean, they had. Listen, if they are lying, they have to double down or else they really look bad. But.
Michael McMillan
I don't know.
Aaron Hayes
Why not?
Michael McMillan
Yeah, these sound like classic tall grays to me. Leah, do you write much about aliens in your books? Or you just stick to the terrestrial cryptids.
Leah Fisher
Yeah, I stick to the terrestrial cryptids and I know that there's actually a conversation of are aliens cryptids? And I know that Lauren Coleman from the International Cryptozoology Museum, he has said that aliens are not cryptids. And I'll have to understand why he says that. But I would say they, in my opinion they are. You know, because to me, a cryptid is an undiscovered animal that people think they are seeing. And so if people think they are seeing an actual form of life, whether it's extraterrestrial or terrestrial, I'd consider that a cryptid.
Michael McMillan
I, I, you know what, this is the first time this has come up on the show and I can't see the flaw in logic in that argument, to be honest.
Aaron Hayes
Can I ask you a question? Like with cryptids, does there tend to be, this is my naivety, does there tend to be a little magic that comes a little bit of, you know, because people talk about like interdimensional aspects and people talk about like different things. Is that maybe the difference that they're saying between an alien and a terrestrial or that aliens are just beings from another planet that have come down, that they're mate with different technology. So that might be the difference, but that might be just me not knowing enough about cryptids.
Leah Fisher
Well, no, I think that's really interesting because with the Bigfoot world, there's the whole woo versus ape community, the really hardcore scientific cryptozoologists who are like, Bigfoot is an undiscovered animal, undiscovered species. And then there's more, you know, they call, call it the Wu camp. For some people who believe that Bigfoot can be interdimensional, more extraterrestrial, There can be, yeah, a little more magical component to it. So that is interesting because maybe aliens are put more in kind of the magical camp of things, perhaps. I don't put them in there, I put them in as a potential undiscovered species. But maybe that's where people don't associate aliens with cryptids.
Michael McMillan
Yeah, I mean, I also think that aliens might be terrestrial after all. You know, there's a whole theory that, I mean, okay, we don't know where these UFOs are coming from. Let's be honest, nobody knows. But like, I like, I do like the James Cameron abyss idea that they live like if maybe, maybe they've come from another dimension or another planet, but they're like hanging out under underwater in the oceans. I love that idea. Maybe they are some form of advanced life from the ocean. We're going to like, you know, you know, sort of Namor the Submariner here that have advanced tech. I don't know. But to your question, Aaron, a lot of Cryptids stories do have weird tech or weird magic attached to them. To, like, part of the woo thing is with the. With the Bigfoot. Like, sometimes they're seen carrying orbs or like balls of light are floating around them or emitting from their chests. Frogman, the Loveland frogman has been spotted holding a magic wand that shoots sparks. So every now and then you get these stories that are like, the weirder aspect of this stuff does tend to, like, Dogman can like, turn invisible or turn into shadow. Like, there is sort of a, like, weird. Is it advanced tech isn't magic? Who knows? So I think it all kind of folds in on itself. And I kind of back up Leah here that there is an argument to be made that aliens could just be Cryptids.
Riley Bray
I mean, that also just makes me think of that, that Arthur C. Clark quote. Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.
Aaron Hayes
It's like, yeah, right.
Riley Bray
One in the same, you know.
Aaron Hayes
Yeah. Imagine showing, you know, old. When Leah was the queen's dreamer.
Michael McMillan
Yeah.
Aaron Hayes
Computer.
Riley Bray
What is this magic?
Aaron Hayes
That's what got her fucking magic.
Michael McMillan
Yeah. That's what got her burned at the stake at Tower Hill.
Aaron Hayes
Sure. She dreamed about a glowing box that gave information. And they're like, burner.
Michael McMillan
Yeah, burner.
Riley Bray
We're going to cut that out.
Leah Fisher
I definitely have had, like, the only experience I've had with Bigfoot was more on, I guess, like, I don't even know what to call, like, more of a spiritual level where I was out looking for Bigfoot with a Bigfoot guide in the Rocky Mountains. And before we went out, we did a meditation, and the group was like, look, you. You may experience Bigfoot using other senses besides your eyes. They're like, you may not see Bigfoot, but you can hear him, smell him, maybe even feel him, like, as a presence. And I was like, oh, this is interesting. And I didn't really know what that meant, but we were hiking through the mountains and I was terrified because we're in the Rocky Mountains at midnight. There's so many things to be concerned about besides Bigfoot. And I was really scared. And then all of a sudden, after like an hour, in like a second, I went from being terrified to being totally peaceful and feeling totally safe. And the second I felt that, my guide turned to me and he said, do you feel that? And I said. I said, I. I do. I said, I'm feeling really calm and safe. He goes, that's Bigfoot. Bigfoot just arrived. He goes, we have two Bigfoot on either side of us. And I was like, we do. And he's like, yep. He goes, you felt them, didn't you? I was like, I. I can't deny it. I can't deny it. I totally felt safe and at peace. And the second I felt that, he was like, that's Bigfoot. So I don't know. I didn't see Bigfoot. I didn't hear Bigfoot, but I definitely felt something, and that's what I can say about that. It was amazing.
Michael McMillan
Did. When you were done, did you, like, look back on the trail and. And. And see just one set of. Of footprints and the guides. That's when Bigfoot was carrying you back?
Leah Fisher
Bigfoot was carrying me, yeah.
Aaron Hayes
And do you think the animals of the forest are just constantly chasing that high that they stumbled into sometimes, but they don't know why? And they're like, where. Where did they go? Where did it go? The squirrels are like, where did it go?
Michael McMillan
They get so blissed out in Bigfoot's aura. There's just like. There's like. There's, like, squirrels and raccoons that are, like, the equivalent of, like, deadheads that just follow wherever Bigfoot goes. They tour with him. Yes. I love that. Leah, did you. Did you have any other sense? Like, did you smell anything weird? Did you hear anything? Any, like, tree knocking or any of that. Any of the other ephemera that comes along with it in that moment?
Leah Fisher
Yeah. I will say that we. We then did have a weird sound experience where there was. I want to say our group was about seven people, and a group of them went up the hill a little bit because they had left gifts for Bigfoot, and so they wanted to check the gifting to see if Bigfoot had taken anything and left anything. So then there were just about three of us standing together, and a young girl who was with us picked up a pine cone and said, bigfoot, I want you to take my pine cone. And she threw it into the woods, and it sounded like this pine cone turned into a massive boulder and went crashing through the woods. And we thought that the other group had thrown a rock or something. And so when they came back down the trail, we were like, did you guys throw that rock into the woods? And they're like, no, we were up here just checking the gifting. And I was like, well, Something just crashed through the woods as soon as we, like, through this pine cone. So we definitely did have A sound experience that came with. With that journey.
Michael McMillan
Do you think it was bigfoot, like, leaping to catch the pinecone in midair. And, like, knocking over some trees on the way?
Aaron Hayes
Absolutely.
Michael McMillan
Aaron, did you know that people gift bigfoot? Did you know that there's a gift exchange. That happens with bigfoot experiences?
Aaron Hayes
No. Is it like a white elephant?
Michael McMillan
Yes. Bigfoot. Bigfoot brings the thing that he didn't want from christmas for christmas he didn't.
Aaron Hayes
Want from the last gifting.
Michael McMillan
Yeah. Yeah.
Riley Bray
No more giant socks.
Aaron Hayes
This quilt is ugly. And they've peed on it. Yeah. This pine cone is friends box set.
Riley Bray
Dvd, season eight, missing disc four.
Aaron Hayes
No, I did not know that.
Michael McMillan
Yeah, People leave out gifts for bigfoot, and then, like, let's say they have bigfoot activity near their home, and they might leave out, like, a marble or something. Well, actually, like, they say bigfoot brings marbles to people, like, pretty little stones and marbles and stuff like that. But you could leave something out for him, and then he'll bring something. He'll take it and bring something back.
Aaron Hayes
Oh, that's nice. He sounds. He sounds lovely.
Michael McMillan
He does.
Aaron Hayes
Yeah. They sound lovely. I don't want to.
Riley Bray
There we go.
Michael McMillan
Leah, this, to me, like, your experience, what you're describing, Sounds like this sounds like A very much more like paranormal activity. This sounds like a haunted h. This sounds like haunted house stuff in the woods. Yeah.
Leah Fisher
Yeah, Absolutely. Absolutely. And, ooh. I have a bigfoot ghost story. Can I share that really fast? Yes.
Michael McMillan
Bring it. This is what this show's for.
Riley Bray
In the right place.
Aaron Hayes
No, thank you.
Leah Fisher
Sorry, Erin. Sorry.
Michael McMillan
Your time is over.
Aaron Hayes
Leah, who dined here.
Leah Fisher
So, you know, at the sasquatch outpost, Where I used to work, Colorado's bigfoot museum, they're turning the upstairs area. Into a bigfoot escape room. And as soon as they started construction up there, we started having paranormal activity. So we would be down. Downstairs in the store, and nobody would be upstairs. And all of a sudden, we would hear A huge bang. And we were like, what's going on up there? So we'd go up there, and there would be, like, a drill. That had been sitting on a table. That was now, like, 10ft away in the middle of the floor.
Michael McMillan
Whoa.
Leah Fisher
And so we just. As soon as they started construction, so much banging. If we were down in the store when nobody was up there. So we were definitely having Some kind of bigfoot paranormal stuff. At the sasquatch outpost. Which was really cool.
Michael McMillan
Do you think it was a ghost of bigfoot or do you think, like, invisible bigfoot Was coming by and messing things up?
Leah Fisher
Yeah, I don't know if, like, if it was a bigfoot ghost or if it was just ghosts, Some kind of ghost up there. I knew the woman who used to live up there because it was an apartment, and she never mentioned any kind of paranormal activity. So we feel like the construction somehow, I don't know, shook something loose. I don't know if ghosts can kind of settle into a physical space. And if you start shaking it up by tearing things down, I don't know if it, you know, angers the ghosts and they gotta come out.
Michael McMillan
Yeah. They say that, like, construction on houses Is a time period where paranormal or, like, poltergeist activity will tick up. Because for that very reason, I think things are a lot of changes happening. Walls are being stripped down, like, the house is being gutted. And it sort of wakes the spirits of the house up. And people. People experience weird phenomena.
Leah Fisher
Interesting. Yeah. So that's definitely happening As a sasquatch outpost.
Michael McMillan
Our.
Aaron Hayes
Our niece, who has, like, is open to, like, sees things sometimes, like, more than other people. And has feelings about paranormal stuff and ghosts and things. When she came to our house when it was under construction, she did not really care for it.
Michael McMillan
Oh, really?
Aaron Hayes
It was a little overwhelming Just because there was so much. So much work being done. And I think some. For some people, they're like, and you're gonna live here? Like, you have to do all this. But she did, like, she went to go down into the basement. She's like, no. Then I gonna. Nope, nope. I mean, I don't love it down there, but she was just like, now it has it. Like, now she's fine. She, like, really, like, enjoys the house and will come. But, like, like, when it was under construction, it was. She was. This. Didn't have the greatest feel.
Michael McMillan
Did she have, like, a.
Aaron Hayes
Told us later.
Michael McMillan
Oh, really? Did she have a specific, by the way? Did she have a specific, like, oh, there was like, a man down there. Like, there was no.
Aaron Hayes
It was just, like, bad. It was just, like, bad vibes. Just, like, didn't. Yeah, but like, that. That I understand. When we were looking for a house, we went to this one house. And it was just like, one of those, like, bad vibes houses.
Leah Fisher
Where.
Aaron Hayes
And it was strange because on the same day we went, we came to see this house. And first we brought some children to see the other house. And when we were walking around the house, like, Nobody just. It was like, there was just this feeling that, like, bad things had happened in this house. It was like a bad vibes house. And then. And the kids, like, didn't want to touch stuff and they were just like, I don't think I want to go upstairs. And I was like, yeah, let's just trust that gut. And it wasn't because of, like, the decor. It was just because it was fine. And then this house was like in the equal state of disrepair. They were running around playing tag and like, it was just when you're like, oh, this house needs an equal amount of work, but it's not bad vibes. But then my niece had different opinion when we opened up.
Riley Bray
There's the vibes.
Michael McMillan
You found them. Just gotta slap a coat of paint, some new drywall over those bad vibes. Everything's fine.
Aaron Hayes
We just infused love into the wasps. And then I walked around being like, we're a nice family. It's all nice here.
Michael McMillan
You performed an exorcism on the house. That works. All right, let's take a break. When we come back, we're going to dive into some listener stories. Abercrombie is an official fashion partner of the NFL and I'm CD Lamb, wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys. You know I'm here for Abercrombie's Cowboys gear. That's not a question, but I need a whole wardrobe to go with it. No shade to the guys, but I'm used to having the best tunnel fits. This season, Abercrombie has me covered. Shop NFL by Abercrombie in the app, online and in store. Streaming September 4th on Peacock. We sell toilet tissue and local newspapers that is in order of quality. From the crew that brought you the office. My name is Ned Sampson. I am your new editor in chief. Comes a new comedy series.
Aaron Hayes
Have you read this paper?
Michael McMillan
Uh huh. It sucks, but we are going to make it better. Meet the underdog journalist. I hope it's not too disruptive to have me shake everything up. Don't be so self defecating with major issues, Oscar. Oh, God, not again. The paper Only on Peacock September 4th. Okay, Aaron, Leah. We have a big file box here in the virtual clubhouse and we like to sift through them every now and then and read what we call L files. These are stories sent into us@bigfootcollectorsclubmail.com and these are experiences that people who listen to the show have had and we can like, talk about them. But kicking things off, I have received multiple emails from someone named Joshua And I'm not going to give out where they work, but they work at a university. So this is someone who is in a. In like a university setting. And Joshua writes, rare Bigfoot toe found in the Colorado Rockies. Unique investment opportunity. So you got my attention. And then, Josh, you're making me back away a little bit here.
Aaron Hayes
Sure.
Michael McMillan
Now, I don't know if Joshua knows what Bigfoot Collectors Club is. Maybe, maybe he's a listener or maybe he just googled Bigfoot Collectors.
Aaron Hayes
Where can he sell this?
Michael McMillan
Yes. So I sent this to you guys. I'm gonna throw it up here on the YouTube and I'll put it up on the Patreon. There is a photo that goes along with this. Joshua writes, hey there. I'm offering a one of a kind artifact. A large Bigfoot toe, roughly the size of an adult male hand, discovered in the Colorado Rockies. When exposed to black light, the object reveals bone like properties and its size far exceeds that of any human. My own alma mater claims it's merely a rock shaped like a toe, but we know better. This rare find is an intriguing addition for any serious collector or researcher. Let me know if you're interested in learning more or acquiring it. So here's what I want to know today. Leah, you're from the, you know, Colorado area, and let's take a look at this thing. I want you to give me, Aaron, Leah Riley, your best thoughts, your best guess as to whether or not this is actually a Big Foot toe. And then how much should we buy this Bigfoot toe for?
Aaron Hayes
Okay.
Michael McMillan
How much would you spend on this Bigfoot toe?
Aaron Hayes
Well, first of all, Leah and I are nothing if not geologists.
Michael McMillan
So for those who are listening, I'm just going to give a. The photo is a close up. And I got to say, Joshua, I'm not sure what you've been digging around on, but those thumbs are pretty, pretty callous. This guy is definitely working with rocks. It's, it's a close up of Joshua's fingers and thumb holding what looks like a severed stone toe. I mean, I see what he's looking at. We're looking. There's a toenail. It definitely looks like a toe, but it also kind of looks like a rock. It could be a petrified toe. I don't know. What do you, what do you all think here?
Aaron Hayes
Well, first of all, I'm, I'm gonna call Josh a little bit of a liar.
Michael McMillan
Okay.
Aaron Hayes
Because he's like, it's the size of a huge. Of a grown male's hand.
Michael McMillan
Yeah.
Aaron Hayes
The picture Is he's holding it like he's like, he's like squeezing it like you would like it like an inch and a half.
Michael McMillan
Yeah, this is like a big fat grape. I would say. I would say that's a big grape.
Aaron Hayes
Yeah. I mean, his or else his hand is the size of two human hands.
Michael McMillan
Right.
Aaron Hayes
You know, like there's. There's proportions are wrong. He's exaggerating a little.
Michael McMillan
Yeah. We need a pencil in this picture to really understand what everything's scaling to here.
Aaron Hayes
Also, did he send you a picture of it in the black light or just a picture of this?
Michael McMillan
No, we've gotten this picture and maybe one more angle we've got like, Josh is not a patient man. He has followed up multiple times being like, do you guys want this or not?
Aaron Hayes
You want it or not?
Michael McMillan
Because I. I still don't know if he actually listens to the show or not. He's not made a reference to our names. He's not made a reference to the show. He's just got a hot item that he needs to sell. Yeah, he's got a hot toe. He's got to move.
Aaron Hayes
I think I can say with 98 certainty that he does not listen to the show and he thinks you purchased things.
Michael McMillan
Yes.
Aaron Hayes
You're a collector of Bigfoot items.
Michael McMillan
Hey, my bad. I'm falsely representing what the show is by putting collectors club in the title. It's not his fault.
Aaron Hayes
I don't understand why these guys wouldn't want it. Maybe they didn't get my first email. I'm send it again. I'm going to send it again. I would pay $7 for this. 7, 7, maybe $7.50.
Michael McMillan
$707.
Aaron Hayes
$7.50 shipping is included.
Michael McMillan
Okay, great. Leah, what do you think? Is this a toe? Have you seen anything like this in Colorado?
Leah Fisher
You know, I mean, I've seen rocks, A lot of rocks. Yeah, I, you know, I mean, my thought on this is if you're like, no, it's definitely a Bigfoot toe, send it in for DNA testing. You know, there, there's that university, I can't remember, University of North Carolina or South Carolina, where they're now doing the. The first university sponsored Bigfoot DNA study where if you have something that you think is from Bigfoot, some hair, a toe, you can send it in. They will DNA test it. They will give you the results. And they are trying to get enough unknown specimens, you know, where the DNA comes back as unknown, so that they can actually start getting more scientific funding for the search for Bigfoot. And then you can actually get a certificate that says, this is really a Bigfoot toe. So I would say, put the mystery to rest. It's free. Send it in, get the DNA testing.
Aaron Hayes
I'll pay the $7.50 for shipping.
Michael McMillan
I agree. Okay, so I'm looking at these emails from Joshua. Hold on. So the first one came in on February 11. There was a follow up on February 12. There was a follow up on Feb. 15. It's just the subject line just reads all caps. Bigfoot toe. And then on February 16, Joshua said, Please see attached image. Bigfoot toe. This was discovered outside of Denver off the plat. It is massive. Please confirm receipt of this email.
Aaron Hayes
Joshua needs to chill, bro.
Michael McMillan
He also CCed other Bigfoot businesses like Expedition Bigfoot and Blue Ridge North American Bigfoot Center. He has. He's definitely not a listener.
Riley Bray
No.
Aaron Hayes
He is in debt as they are about to repo his car. And he is. This is what he's. He's selling everything he possibly can.
Michael McMillan
Yeah.
Aaron Hayes
He's got leaf that is like an angel's pube. I don't know, legit. He has. What else?
Michael McMillan
Like, let me get. Take your Bigfoot toe off my neck, Joshua. Give me a chance to just even open the attachment before you write back to me.
Aaron Hayes
Get through my inbox, Joshua.
Leah Fisher
But it is interesting. Maybe this is a caveman toe, you know?
Michael McMillan
Yeah, good point, Leah. Meanwhile, it is a Bigfoot toe. We're making fun of this guy. Someone get this.
Aaron Hayes
It would be very interesting, like, what Leah's saying to at least know if it had. If it is, like, organic matter, if there is any sort of d. You know, like a proper fossil of something that once was alive, that would be interesting.
Leah Fisher
But it is funny how earlier, when I was talking about having prophetic dreams and people are like, nah, I don't believe you. And the guys who, you know, got taken by the aliens, the wives are like, nah, I don't believe you. And now here's the guy who's like, I have a Bigfoot toe. And we're like, nah, I don't believe you. So it's like, my problem.
Michael McMillan
My problem is not with the toe. It's with Josh's approach to the toe.
Riley Bray
Toe salesmanship. You gotta. You gotta ease them in.
Aaron Hayes
It's found in the. So he picked up a. Listen, you guys. Rocks look like a lot of things.
Riley Bray
It's a rock from Denver.
Aaron Hayes
How did he. Like, he just saw a rock on the ground and was like.
Michael McMillan
I actually think he would have more success if he Was like, I found a rock that looks like a toe. I think he'd have more buyers.
Aaron Hayes
Yeah.
Michael McMillan
You know, because it's fun story.
Aaron Hayes
If there's like give us the. Some like it was found in Denver. Okay. What. What else was found around the area? What. What leads Joshua to believe that this rock that looks like a toe. Bigfoot. Like I need more. I just, I. Joshua, for the amount of emails that you're sending, I need more.
Michael McMillan
Yeah. More information, please.
Aaron Hayes
At least one of these black light photos.
Riley Bray
That's. I'm curious at what point he went to the black light investigation method where he's like, this rock looks like a toad. Let's pop it under a black light.
Michael McMillan
Yeah. Does he just have a black light in his bedroom? And he brought it home and went, oh, bone like properties. Well, what are bone like properties too? That's. I have so many questions also. Riley, we are buying this toe in the.
Riley Bray
Just don't. Just don't give. Don't name a number first. You got to make him name the first number.
Michael McMillan
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Aaron Hayes
What do you think his number is going to be?
Riley Bray
10,000.
Michael McMillan
Oh, yeah, yeah. Absolutely. Enough to cover alimony for two months.
Aaron Hayes
Joshua.
Michael McMillan
I love it. All right. It's a big rock. We're gonna buy it. I'll email, let everybody know what Joshua says.
Riley Bray
Can you reply to each one individually, please?
Michael McMillan
Yes. Turn it over. I want to see the bottom of the toe.
Aaron Hayes
Yeah.
Leah Fisher
My boss name is Joshua and now I'm like, Joshua is that is my boss hawking bigfoot toes? So I'll ask him when I'm back.
Michael McMillan
Yeah, we'll talk off. We'll talk off camera and I'll confirmation of. Of his full name and where he. Where he works. Okay, we have to take another break. When we come back, we're actually going to read some listener stories. Okay, here we go. Oh, gosh, I'm so hot. Not in a sexy way. I'm trying to sleep, but I'm sweating. Oh, I really wish I had miracle made sheets to keep me the perfect temperature all night long. Does this sound like you, you whiny little baby? I don't care how many times we went back to the moon. I'm. I think I'm just saying, have you seen the shadows of those golf clubs and dune buggies? It's just, it's not adding up to me. Stop sleeping on bacteria. Did you know the bed sheets can harbor germs and make you break out and acne and other things? It's gross. Riley Bray
Well, the Gavin says hi. Michael, Riley and guest guests.
Michael McMillan
We got Aaron and Leah with us.
Riley Bray
My name is Gavin and I live in the uk, not too far away from Cannock Chase where the Black Eyed children reside.
Michael McMillan
Oh, yeah.
Riley Bray
Terrifying.
Michael McMillan
And I think that alien wasn't that alien in the. The little alien was that across Cannock Chase. Remember that alien photo that the guy was, like, off in an early morning and took a picture of an alien?
Riley Bray
I do sort of remember that.
Michael McMillan
That might have been Cannock Chase as well. Okay, sorry.
Riley Bray
Sure, we'll go with it. Anyways, Gavin continues. I recently visited a Victorian museum called the Black Country Living Museum. Oh, County Country. Country Country. Call. Oh, then they just rewrote. Call the Black country again. It's. Oh, it's called the Black country again. We read these without proofreading first.
Michael McMillan
These are cold reads, everyone.
Riley Bray
It's called the Black Country. As this area of the Midlands was rich with coal. Whilst I was at the museum, I was sitting in a cafe having a warm drink and suddenly felt my right arm and leg become ridiculously heavy. My hand made a fist and broke the cup it was holding and I couldn't move my right side. My wife panicked and thought I was having a medical episode, but it felt different. I felt cold. Then with my left arm, I slammed the table and shouted, let go of me.
Michael McMillan
Let me go.
Riley Bray
As soon as I shouted that, I regained control of my right side. This area is known for being haunted. You should look into hauntings at Dudley Castle, which is about a quarter mile from the museum and has been turned into a zoo. Oh, thank you for the podcast, Gavin. That's terrifying.
Aaron Hayes
Terrifying.
Riley Bray
Yeah.
Michael McMillan
Leah, your eyes are lighting up over there.
Leah Fisher
Oh, I just find it fascinating. And I mean, I'm. I'm thinking back to, you know, the very first story that I told on, on the podcast here when I first visited, about how I had a ghost in my house that would only visit me during the day when I took my naps. So I feel like it was a very old ghost who couldn't haunt at night because that was when they needed to go to sleep. And I, like, I'm too tired.
Michael McMillan
My dad haunting you, my living father.
Leah Fisher
Between the hours of noon and two is what I can haunt.
Riley Bray
Then it just falls asleep. Watching World War II documentary.
Leah Fisher
But I remember the feeling of, like, lying in bed, taking a nap, and this feeling that something would lie on top of me, you know, and kind of pin you to the bed. Kind of what I've heard people say about, what is it when you're sleeping and you open your eyes and you're awake but you're frozen?
Aaron Hayes
Yeah, sleep paralysis.
Leah Fisher
Yeah, sleep paralysis. So to have that kind of paralysis just as you're Sitting there enjoying lunch and tea is. I don't doubt it. Sounds fascinating.
Aaron Hayes
Yeah.
Michael McMillan
What do you think, Aaron?
Aaron Hayes
I mean, there was obviously something that led that person to scream that it must have really felt like an outside force.
Michael McMillan
I feel bad for his wife because probably everyone in the cafe thought he was screaming at her.
Aaron Hayes
Yeah. And she's like, I'm not. I'm really a nice lady.
Michael McMillan
I'm just trying to help my husband who might be having a stroke.
Leah Fisher
Yeah.
Aaron Hayes
Oh, he's crazy. He's just crazy.
Michael McMillan
Yeah.
Aaron Hayes
No, I mean, sure. Why not? If this. I don't. We don't know his. It sounds like this was an isolated incident, that it hasn't happened before. Hadn't happened before or since. So why not?
Michael McMillan
I mean, if you're going anywhere that's called the black country, you're gonna. There's gonna be some ghosts hanging. I mean, this sounds like the Black Lodge. I mean, this sounds like something that would be in a Gothic, you know, American or in this instance, English horror story. The coldness. I mean, the. The cold, that is a obviously phenomenon that people experience when they're around ghosts. The. The grip is also something that people experience. I wonder, Gavin, if you had any markings on your hand after this. If there were any, like, scratch marks, I think you would include those. But people talk about this kind of thing happening. I. I don't know. That's pretty wild and it's pretty spooky. And as I. As we've said before on the show, like, England is haunted as. So I 100% believe this. I bet, Gavin, if you'd asked around the cafe, there are stories in the cafe, like Leah's stories from the Sasquatch outpost, that, like, there's. There's activity in that place for sure.
Riley Bray
Crushing the cup is scary too.
Michael McMillan
Yeah.
Riley Bray
And not being able to control that, it's very frightening.
Michael McMillan
That's a really cool.
Aaron Hayes
Unless it's great. You might feel great at the end to be like, this strong.
Michael McMillan
Yeah. Wow.
Aaron Hayes
Still got it.
Michael McMillan
Yeah. I have the strength of a. Of. Of a. Of a. Of a university employee with giant man hands holding toes. I can crush. Yeah. I wonder how many cups Joshua can crush for those.
Riley Bray
I was also wondering, is this like a cardboard cup?
Michael McMillan
Yeah.
Riley Bray
Is it a paper cup mug in his hand?
Michael McMillan
Yeah.
Riley Bray
We'll never know.
Michael McMillan
I picture him hulking out.
Aaron Hayes
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Riley Bray
Could have also been like a. A stroke, but hopefully not.
Michael McMillan
I think it was a ghost. I mean, get. Check it talk. Depending on how long ago this was. Talk to your doctor just in Case.
Riley Bray
Just like check it out.
Michael McMillan
Just check it out. Safe to check it out, but it.
Riley Bray
Sounds more ghosty to me.
Michael McMillan
I would say ghosty for sure. All right, Ghost Ghosts. Everyone vote Ghost. Ghost. Ghost. Ghost. Okay, great. Aaron, do you want to read an L file for us?
Aaron Hayes
Sure. I have it. Okay, this one comes to us from. Oh, zero.
Michael McMillan
Zero. Yeah. Cosmetier over on the Patreon.
Aaron Hayes
Hi 0 so on the 19th of 2023, I had what I can only describe as a UFO encounter. I was coming home from work at around 9pm or so, taking a route through a local highway and over a large drawbridge. As I was cresting the top portion of the bridge, I noticed a blinking light in the distance. I had first put it down to just one of many places or helicopters that frequents the local airplanes or helicopters that frequents the local area. The closer I got to the light, however, the more things began to tickle the back of my mind as not really matching up with what I normally saw from local aircraft. Way to really flip, you know, give it some flair.
Michael McMillan
Yeah, I like this also. The 19th of 2023. Is this January 19, 2023?
Aaron Hayes
Just the 19th.
Riley Bray
I like the 19th day of 2020.
Michael McMillan
Yeah, they, they, they just count, you know, they'll. They'll be like on the 264th of day of 2023, I found a penny.
Aaron Hayes
Yeah. So a few minutes more into my drive home, I realized that it was flying over the general area of where I lived and was hopeful. I was hopeful that I'd be able to figure out what this thing was. As I got closer to home, the highway here is a lot of trees lining it, which eventually caused the me to lose track of the object. I figured it had managed to just keep cruising past. I had missed my window to figure out what it was, which I just put down to being par for the course for my day. However, a couple of minutes after losing sight of the object, I started to take the final turn into the stretch of road leading into my neighborhood. When I glanced up in time to see the lights of the object above my car being way slower than made sense to me. What struck me even more strange is that it should have already been long gone from the area. As I looked up at this thing, I realized that there were two blinking lights on either side that I'd noticed at first, but also three more lights in the center of it in a row. The thing that threw me off most, however, was that it was moving very slowly, as if it was looking for something.
Michael McMillan
Whoa. Looking for you 0. Oh.
Aaron Hayes
I managed to get back to my house in time to shut my car off and start to listen for engine noise. As helicopters generally have a distinct sound depending on the type and how slowly it's going to be, I figured it was some kind of Coast Guard rescue going on. That was when I realized that not only could I not hear an engine, but the normal nighttime sounds weren't there either. It was eerily quiet. Even the neighbors dogs weren't making a sound as I stood there looking after the direction this thing was heading. It was almost like waking out of a trance when I realized I needed to let my partner know I had made it home safely. But once that happened, the nighttime sounds started to flood back in. Even the neighbor's dog started to bark. Once I noticed it was standing, I was standing in my driveway. I don't know if there was missing time or how long I had been standing there staring after the lights, but all I know is it all felt off from the moment I had seen the thing show up back in the sky above me. The thing showed back up in the sky above me. I don't know if it was just me, my hyper fixating on some aircraft on a search, or if it was was a ufo uap, but it has lived in my head ever since. And I can't look up into the night sky without thinking the damned lights might come slowly gliding over my head.
Michael McMillan
Wow. Spooky Zero. That is like a. That's a close encounter of the first kind if I've ever heard one for sure.
Aaron Hayes
Yeah. The sounds like realizing that, I mean it sounds like he lives in the woods kind of.
Michael McMillan
Yeah.
Aaron Hayes
Nature sounds.
Michael McMillan
There are a few things that go off for me here. One is the shape of the craft with the lights on the ends and porthole lights running down the side. This is. This evokes some of the images of. Of UFOs that we discussed in our two part deep dive series about the Pennsylvania UFO. Bigfoot stuff that was happening in 1973. Riley, that really kind of also the Betty and Barney Hill case had a craft with lights at the ends like on the tips. And then this thing that happens in, excuse me, Bigfoot stories as well as UFO stories where suddenly all of nature goes quiet and dogs that might usually bark at an intruder or bark at something also fall silent as this thing is moving through the area. And the idea of it all turning back on at once is also stuff that we hear in these encounter stories. So Zero, you've got like the markings of all Of a classic saucer encounter here. And even also sort of the confusion of, like, I don't know how long I was out of my driveway for. I suddenly it was above my car. Maybe you experienced some missing time. I don't know. You know, you say you're not sure, but. Yeah. What do you think, Aaron and Leah?
Aaron Hayes
It sounds pretty legit like that. Yeah, that does sound kind of creepy. Like not knowing, like realizing that there's no sounds and then at all coming back, you know?
Riley Bray
Yeah. Yeah. This one really checks all the boxes. I mean, this sounds like a. Some sort of UAP encounter or UFO or whatever. Whatever we're calling it these days.
Michael McMillan
Yeah. Leah, have you ever experienced this phenomenon of, like, nature going silent when you're out looking for. For bigfoot and stuff?
Leah Fisher
You know, I don't think I've experienced that. But what I did experience one time when I was a kid is it was a blizzard in Colorado, and it was at night, and all of a sudden there was what I can only be described as a flash of lightning, Even though it was like January in a blizzard. And then a booming sound of thunder and then a sudden massive gust of wind.
Aaron Hayes
Whoa.
Leah Fisher
And so it was like, flash of light, thunder, gust of wind, and that was it. And I was like, what? What was that? Now there is thunder, snow, But I don't think I've ever experienced lightning during a snowstorm. And the next day, I looked in the paper and buried in, like, the back of one section, it was just a little paragraph that said that there was a weird weather phenomenon that was unexplained by meteorologists. So that's the only experience I've had with that. But I certainly believe in sightings like that. You know, once the military started declassifying all of their videos from, like, the fighter jets and seeing all the lights, a friend of mine whose grandfather was in World War II contacted him and was like, yeah, those videos with the lights. He's like, during the war, when I would be on the aircraft carrier or whatever big boat he was in in the middle of the ocean, he's like, we just knew that we would be trailed by lights. He's like, it was just something we accepted that things would be following us in the middle of the ocean. He's like, yeah, that's. That's not a big secret for people in the military, so. Absolutely. I believe in. In stuff flying around, so really neat experience.
Michael McMillan
Yeah, super cool. Zero. Thank you. All right, everybody, I think we're going to have to wrap it up there. We're running out of time before we say goodbye to Aaron and Leah. Do you, do you all have some work you want to promote? Do you have some books you want to tell our listeners about? Leah? Where can people find you guys? Start with Leah.
Leah Fisher
Yeah, so I write funny adventure novels for 8 to 13 year olds about Cryptids and they are called the Cryptid Catcher and the Cryptid Keeper. And I did just get a new book deal for a new book that'll be coming out, I would say in about a year or so.
Michael McMillan
Congratulations.
Aaron Hayes
Thank you.
Michael McMillan
That's so exciting.
Aaron Hayes
Thank you.
Michael McMillan
Can you give us a tease of what this one's going to be?
Aaron Hayes
Yeah.
Leah Fisher
So this is called the Extraordinary Adventures of the Ordinary Barney Flarff. And it is about.
Michael McMillan
Sold a copy already.
Leah Fisher
Yeah, I feel like the title alone should do it. But it's about a very unheroic boy who literally gets sucked into an adventure novel and in order to get home, he has to become the hero and finish the quest.
Michael McMillan
Oh, I love that. That's great. That's so exciting. And I've seen on your Instagram you've still got the Bigfoot costume. Are you still doing like talks and readings like, like around Colorado? I feel like people can come who might live in your area might be able to come here, you hear, you read or bring their kids. What are, what are you doing on the road with that Bigfoot costume? Is basically what I'm asking here.
Leah Fisher
Yeah, so I used to give a lot of talks at Bigfoot conferences and I don't have anything lined up in the immediate future, but I am available for school and library visits. I just had one this week and I have a few more coming up. But I go to schools and libraries and I teach cryptos. I do a presentation called Cryptozoology for Kids where I teach kids about the search for legendary animals as a way to get them interested in the natural world. So as Lauren Coleman says, cryptozoology is a gateway science to the life sciences.
Michael McMillan
I love that. Well, where can people follow you to make sure or if they wanted to reach out and book you for something like that?
Leah Fisher
Yes, you can find me on my website, which is Leah Fisher.com and my name is spelled funny. It's L, I, J, A and then Fisher, like fisherman.
Michael McMillan
Great. I love it. Thank you, Leah. Aaron, what do you got? Where can people come find you and watch?
Aaron Hayes
I don't know, man. I don't know. Yeah, we were saying I got to do an episode of NCIS with our, with our good buddy that we also want to to school with Brian dson. That was fun.
Michael McMillan
Awesome.
Aaron Hayes
I think that's coming up very soon. So depending on when this is happening.
Michael McMillan
We'Ll be out Wednesday. The what, 26. 27. Yeah, 26.
Aaron Hayes
But that'll be very. On March. That's on March 3rd.
Michael McMillan
Great.
Aaron Hayes
That's a fun little. That was fun to do. And then you can find me on Instagram at Hayes lady. And just in home in my spooky house.
Michael McMillan
I love it. Before you go out of the basement, I. I did want to share something for all of you. People ask me about this if they listen to last week's episode with an ad. I recently was gifted a book from my fiance about Bigfoot. It's called Bigfoot Threw Rocks at me. So I. It by Danielle Devore.
Aaron Hayes
Oh, my God.
Michael McMillan
Look at this. Look at this. AI generated Bigfoot on the COVID of this. It's pretty wild.
Aaron Hayes
That's amazing.
Michael McMillan
She said maybe I could read it on the show, but the first sentence I read was too filthy for even my own eyes.
Aaron Hayes
So this is like a. This is like a porn. It is quote, unquote romance.
Michael McMillan
It is smut of the lowest degree. And people were asking if I made this up. I did not make it up, and here's the proof, so y' all can go read it for yourselves.
Aaron Hayes
Do we think this is her real name, or do we think Devour or Devour? I'm.
Michael McMillan
Oh, yeah, Devour. You're right.
Aaron Hayes
Definitely append me.
Michael McMillan
I think, actually, Danielle Devour's real name is Joshua.
Leah Fisher
Hey, don't knock Bigfoot erotica.
Michael McMillan
I'm not. There's no way I'm doing it. I'm just too shy to read this stuff that's on air.
Leah Fisher
There is a woman who self publishes Bigfoot erotica, and she has put her children through college on Bigfoot erotica.
Michael McMillan
Listen, Leah, I'm two weeks away from writing my own Bigfoot erotica in self publishing, okay? I'm not knocking anybody's kink here. I'm just too. I'm too embarrassed to read it. The sentence I saw, I was just too embarrassed about it to read it on the show.
Aaron Hayes
Okay, Leah, could you start writing Bigfoot erotica and tell me it's a college?
Leah Fisher
You know, I. You know, I've thought about it, but I just don't think I could take myself seriously. But I was doing a book signing, and this woman came up and saw my books, and she goes, oh, do your books have Bigfoot in them? And I was like, yeah, but they're they're for kids. And she's like, but I'm like, adults can read them, but it's not erotica. And she's like, but there's Bigfoot in your book, right? I'm like, yes. She's like, I'm just gonna take it. And I was like, okay. But it's, it's not, it's like she just needed her fix, you know, she.
Michael McMillan
Just needs a place to start.
Aaron Hayes
Yes. So if you've, if you find a bad review online of your books, Leah, it's that woman. Bigfoot was not written sexually. I do not understand what this woman is doing.
Michael McMillan
This Bigfoot was not horny at all in the course of this adventure. Yeah, honestly, like, I'm. Now I'm really thinking about it, I probably will write some cryptid based erotica because, you know, times are tough.
Leah Fisher
So, you know, seriously, I've thought about it. I've thought of like, alien erotica. I'm like, what hasn't been done?
Michael McMillan
You know, it doesn't matter if it's been done before or not. You just gotta do it. You just gotta do it. Well, that's true.
Aaron Hayes
Yeah.
Michael McMillan
All right, thank you so much, Erin, Leah, on that note, we're gonna say goodbye to you. Thank you so much. Thanks for coming back. We love you both.
Aaron Hayes
Thanks for having us. Love you guys. Thank you.
Riley Bray
Love ya.

Leah Fisher
Eczema isn't always obvious, but it's real.
Aaron Hayes
And so is the relief from EBGLIS.
Leah Fisher
After an initial dosing phase, about 4 in 10 people taking EBGLIS achieved itch relief and clear or almost clear skin at 16 weeks. And most of those people maintain skin that's still more clear at one year.
Aaron Hayes
With monthly dosing.
Michael McMillan
EBGLIS Librekizumab LBKZ, a 250 milligram per 2 milliliter injection, is a prescription medicine used to treat adults and children 12 years of age and older who weigh at least 88 pounds or 40 kg milligrams with moderate to severe eczema, also called atopic dermatitis, that is not well controlled with prescription therapies used on the skin or topicals or who cannot use topical therapies. EBGLIS can be used with or without topical corticosteroids. Don't use if you're allergic to ebglis. Allergic reactions can occur that can be severe. Eye problems can occur. Tell your doctor if you have new or worsening eye problems. You should not receive a live vaccine when treated with Epglis. Riley Bray
The Minstrel of Strange. Sounds too much like some sort of frat boy euphemism.
Michael McMillan
Yeah, it sounds like the guy who graduated college but still throws parties and calls himself the Minstrel of Strange and they all go to his house to party and have hookups.
Riley Bray
Yeah, it's okay if someone else calling me that, but if I, I, if I were ever to refer to myself as that, I would be really concerned for my well being.
Michael McMillan
Yeah, I think all of us would be. Yeah. You can't. It's as fun. It's fun though. You know, I couldn't ignore Minstrel Strange. Thank you, Catherine. All right, it's time for Collector's Corner. What are you. Are you still diving into your physical media era? What have you watched or or consumed recently?
Riley Bray
So just keeping going with my very pretentious turn and great in Cinephilia. Yeah, I went the American cinematic. Do you Know what you know, that is.
Michael McMillan
Yeah, so tell our listeners.
Riley Bray
They do all these screenings around L. A. They do like 1600 screenings a year. They even like. They even do like film screenings. They even screen. Screen like old nitrate film. I think they're doing that this weekend at the Egyptian. It's one of the only theaters in the country that can actually screen that old film because that film is so flammable. That's a whole other side tangent that's really interesting about film history, but I went and saw Diary of a Country Priest. Last night is a film by Robert Bresson. It's a French film.
Michael McMillan
What era?
Riley Bray
It was made in the 50s, I think, early 50s. So it's like post war existential. It's about this priest and he's sickly and depressed and it's like a. I guess an example of like early French slow cinema. It is extremely slow, but in such a beautiful way to just kind of like you just relax into it and you got your popcorn and it just washes over you. It was a beautiful, beautiful movie that you can't. You can't stream. You have to go see it in a theater. And that was great. And it was. There was quite a few people. There was at the Los Feliz theater. They're. They're part of the. They do the.
Michael McMillan
Oh, at the three.
Riley Bray
Yeah, the three there.
Michael McMillan
Oh, cool, man. I was right over there last night.
Riley Bray
I'll let you know next time I'm.
Michael McMillan
I went to Encanto, that Mexican place processor from Little Doms, which is delicious.
Riley Bray
Really good vibes in block as me last night.
Michael McMillan
I know, yeah, so I saw that.
Riley Bray
It was wonderful. I'm really enjoying this shift in media, although I have been. I've definitely been like having some streaming withdrawals. Yeah, I've noticed where I'm like, I like, want to take a break from something and I go to like, put. I'm like, oh, I don't have anything to put on. Yeah, I guess I'll just eat my food and taste it.
Michael McMillan
You can watch YouTube. He's just a YouTube guy.
Riley Bray
I mean, that's true, but that kind of. Then just. I mean, I'll put. Well, I'll watch us on YouTube and drive those numbers up.
Michael McMillan
Yeah, exactly.
Riley Bray
One few at a time.
Michael McMillan
I'm the opposite of you. I listen. I've been on a low brow, like year.
Riley Bray
There's no judgment in this, by the way. This is just something that I'm.
Michael McMillan
Oh, no, of course.
Riley Bray
Somehow better or something.
Michael McMillan
It's just.
Riley Bray
No, no, I'm doing right now?
Michael McMillan
No, no, no. I'm, I'm like, I wish I was in that mindset because it is, it is, it is things where like, you definitely, like, there are times when I'm like, oh, do I want to put on. Sometimes I get like movie anxiety where I'm like, do I want to put a movie on and commit to the movie? And every time I do, I never regret it. I never ever regret it. And, and then there are other times I'm like, I just burned through three episodes of Southern Hospitality and I could have watched that three hour movie that I'm like, oh, but it's three hours. You know? That being said, I love Southern hospitality. I mean, I get it. Summer House is back on Bravo. Southern Charm is, has been really good the past couple episodes. And Southern hospitality I caught up on. Since my mom died, I just burned through the entire Bravo catalog. I'm not all the housewife stuff. I like Salt Lake, but really have had a hard time getting into Housewives outside of Salt Lake. But all the below decks, all of this stuff like that was like how I grieved for a year or helped to like ease the grief. So I have, I'm like caught up now and I'm having like a, I'm, I'm kind of having like the problem that you're having, except I just, I just consumed it all, you know, reached.
Riley Bray
The end of the Internet.
Michael McMillan
Yeah. I have no more Bravo backlog shows that I want to catch up on. So I have to find something new to watch and I'm, and I've been going, okay, now actually why don't you watch some like real good healthy stuff for your, your brain and your soul. But tell you what, Southern hospitality, if you've been sitting, if you're a Bravo head and you've been kind of sitting that one out, it's gotten really good this season. That's all I'm going to say.
Riley Bray
What, what is it? I don't know.
Michael McMillan
Southern hospitality is, follows the lives of the young people who work at Republic, which is a club in Charleston. It's a spin off a Southern charm. The Southern charm cast member Leva owns and operates Republic. And so it's kind of like the Vanderpump rules of Southern of the Southern Charm Everse, except it's not a one to one. The, the kids are different. The main, the main lady is like an up and coming DJ and they just this, this latest episode series, they went to Vegas and she had her first big club like day club Poolside debut, and it went off great. But there's this one. There's this one character that I really love, whose name is Grace Lily, and they try to introduce her as the, like, super hot Instagram model in the first season, but it didn't quite take. And. And really, she's a lot weirder than that. She's like, more of a. She's one of us, really. Like, like, she's like a wavy she. Her catchphrase is wavy gravy. And she's, like, very into, like, crystals and tarot. And since the show's sort of, like, gone. Oh, wait a minute. She might be more quirky as this, like, witchy gal. She's really come out of her shell, and she's a very hilarious. I mean, they're still all, like. All these kids are, like, kind of raging narcissists, but it's all.
Riley Bray
It's reality television.
Michael McMillan
Right.
Riley Bray
Sort of the point.
Michael McMillan
But I. I like that they realized what her real value was. Was like, okay, let's not make her this middle of the road. Let's. Let's. Let's let her be weird on the show. So it's a. I don't know. It's dumb stuff, man, but it's. It's spicy. There's.
Riley Bray
Hey, I have. I've, you know that I have consumed a lot of housewives. I've watched me plenty of Bravo, so I love.
Michael McMillan
I still love Salt Lake City, man. It is the Wild Ride. Truly a great show. The other. Other housewives I have a hard time getting on board with, but that. That one. That one I love so much.
Riley Bray
That sounds cool. I love Charleston. That's a great, great, great town.
Michael McMillan
I really want to go because now that I've watched all of it, it looks so cool. And I'm thinking if and when I have a bachelor party, we might be going to Charleston. We'll see. Okay. Yeah, we'll hit up. Oh, yeah, I've already. I'm already like, are we too old for Republic? Probably, But I still kind of just want to go for.
Riley Bray
I honestly think I may have been to that club because really, I've been at a bachelor party in Charleston, and we. There's. It's not that big, so I think I went.
Michael McMillan
I think we went there, probably. It's like, they have, like, bottle girls and all that stuff.
Riley Bray
I think we did go there.
Michael McMillan
That's funny, man. I'm so jealous. Okay. Otherwise, nothing else to plug. Oh, I guess my ebay shop. I'm putting up a lot more collectibles and stuff. And I do have some copies of my lucid set left and adventure van. So I'll put a link to the show notes.
Aaron Hayes
Notes.
Michael McMillan
I really love it when club scouts come by and say hi and I'll, I'll draw a little cryptid doodle and I'll put it in your package and personalize everything for you. So head over there. Lincoln, link in the show notes here. Or you can check out, I guess the, the, the link in our bio on Instagram. I think it's up there. So go check that out. Anything you want to plug, Riley, Any projects?
Riley Bray
We have really cool stuff, but I can't talk about it. But I'm really excited.
Aaron Hayes
Great.
Michael McMillan
Yeah, I love it. Okay.
Riley Bray
Stuff's cooking. I'm working. You're working. Boys, working.
Michael McMillan
We're working. We're working at it. Okay. One last thanks to Aaron Hayes and Leah Fisher for joining us on this flies by when they're on on this episode. I love them. We're gonna cross over to the other side to discuss a cryptid that I'd never heard of before. And it's right here. It's from right here in California. If we don't see over there on Friday, we will see you back here next week for an all new episode of Bigfoot Collectors Club. Until then, good night.
Riley Bray
Go get regressed.
