B
Go.
A
Sprink break. Hi, everybody. Welcome to Big Bigfoot Collectors Club. The show where we talk to amazing guests about their personal paranormal history, share stories of high strangeness. I'm your host, Michael McMillan, and with me always is the cosmic resonator.
B
11111, Riley Ray.
A
That was submitted by our friend on Discord, Kentucky, Goblin.
B
All right, whatever floats your boat.
A
Dropping F bombs in the first 39 seconds of the program, everybody.
B
It also sort of sounded like we opened where we were dropping poop bombs.
A
Yeah, I don't know what that was. You know, we're not gonna go back and redo it.
B
No, we're not. We're not.
A
It was supposed to be like a guttural like, let's do it. And then it just sounded like we were very having problems.
B
Difficult. Yeah.
A
Difficult problems. Welcome back to BCC's Sasquatch Spring Break Spectacular right here on the free feed. And over on BCC, the other side@bcc.supercast.com now through the end of March, the only madness we're concerned about is Bigfoot's temperament.
B
That's right.
A
It's called a joke. And I wrote it.
B
It was good. I liked it.
A
We're getting our Squatch on all spring break. All squatch, no break. How about that? We're extending it into this week. We were gonna end it last Friday over on the other side with our review of Boggy Creek 2 Coland and the Legend Continues masterpiece. It is a BCC classic. You can listen to that if you join us over at BCC clubhouse. But, you know, we're having so much fun, we just decided to keep it going. And I teased over on the other side with our Pennsylvania White Bigfoot story that I have been chatting with a gentleman back in my home state of Kansas who had a recent Bigfoot signing back in Lawrence, Kansas, or Clinton Lake.
B
Not.
A
Not far from where we've been. Not far from where we did our live show back in August. So we're going to talk about that. And we're better to do it. But in an a Sasquatch spring break El Files episode, which is what we're delivering this week. I went through the history of our inbox. I combed through to look for L files we never opened, never read. Sometimes we get too many. Sometimes we don't get enough. And I managed to find, going back to 2019, a handful of Bigfoot L files that we have never discussed on the show. So this is going to be an all Squatch batch of elf files this episode.
B
Okay.
A
There's a little bit of UFO and ghost activity sprinkled in at the end if we get to it. But for the most part, all Squatch.
B
All break.
A
No break. No Squatch. Wait a minute. Wait.
B
We're not going back to the dorms. We're staying on Squatch spring break forever.
A
How was your spring break on Riley? I heard. I heard you were at a pool yesterday.
B
I was at a pool.
A
It was a pool party.
B
I went to my friend's house in Encino and they have a pool. And I tell you, a pool in the Valley during a heat wave is one of those peak Los Angeles experiences that it just. You can't beat it. And they were barbecuing. I ate. I ate a piece of corn in a pool. I had corn on the cob in a pool.
A
Corn on a cob in a pool.
B
And then I drank. It was amazing. It was a perfect day. It really was.
A
That's delightful. I went to a neighborhood watering spot to watch the baseball World Championship Classic. USA vs. Venezuela Royals players on both teams. I was very excited. And Venezuela, I'll say, kind of kicked the out of Team USA And Salvi Perez, my favorite catcher of all time from the Royals, he got to celebrate a championship win. So that was very fun. It was St. Patty's Day. I had Some Guinness. I had some friends. It was a great time. So spring break, baby. Spring break, baby. We're doing it. Let's jump right into it. Riley, are you ready with that sound? Sound cue. Because squad, Spring break spectacular. You know that we have some. So Ohio is back in the headlines after last week's bigfoot cluster. Check this out. Now, what did I tell everybody? Prepare yourself for some unusual activity in the skies above Ohio. Because, you know, when there's bigfoot, there's strange lights. Okay, Now, I can't promise any UFOs. But I can tell you this happened according to AP News. Who's this guy?
B
I kind of want that guy to do a whole episode. Yeah, just.
A
Just lean back. Lean all the way back. We're going to talk about bigfoot. We're going to talk about looking up in the skies over Ohio. Hello, everybody. This is Ohio Dan. And I've got some late breaking news for you. I've been out in the fields. It's been snowing in Ohio. And you know, some of those sightings have died down. But I've been out there with my team. That team consists of three people. Me, myself and I. And I've been looking for that cluster of squatches. But it got cold and it got snowy. And that slowed me and my team down. But then I read this and I thought, well, this is unusual. 7 ton meteor that fell from the Cleveland sky Could be seen several states away. All right, Dan. I'll take it from here. Thank you. Ohio Dan.
B
Ohio Dan rides alone.
A
He does. I asked to go along. He said so, man, if you like Ohio Dan. I like Ohio Dan a lot. I'm going to be honest with you.
B
I'd have a beer with Ohio Dan.
A
He's my new dad. So. So. A seven. This is the AP News. A seven ton meteor that sped across the Cleveland sky at 45,000 miles per hour on Tuesday night Before breaking apart in a thunderous boom. Startled residents who fe an explosion. People several states away reported seeing the bright fireball Even though it was 9am The American Meteor Society said it received reports from Wisconsin to Maryland. NASA later confirmed that it was a meteor nearly six feet in diameter.
B
Holy.
A
This one really does look like it's a fireball. Which means it's a meteorite, A small asteroid. Said astronomer Carl Hergenrauther, the group's direct executive director. So much stuff is being launched. A lot of times when you see burning up is just re entering satellites. But usually those things, those don't get especially bright. He said the Meteor really takes the
B
magic out of shooting stars.
A
It does, doesn't it?
B
It's just burning up space trash.
A
Yeah, you're just making a wish on American space junk. The meteor was first seen about 50 miles above Lake Erie. I wonder if it's anywhere close to the Erie Business Machines Company. What was the name? Hold on, let me check my notes.
B
I believe it is eerie.
A
The compute Erie's Business Machines. That's a business that we learned about in our Friday's episode on the other side.
B
Very important local business. Yes, yes.
A
And Riley now has a new band called Riley Bray and the Business Machines. Just catching you up. You're missing out. If you're not with us on the other side, see what happens.
B
You're missing out.
A
It traveled more than 34 miles through the upper atmosphere before fragmenting over Valley City, north of Medina, NASA said in a statement from Bill Cook, who leads the agency's Meteoroid Environments office in Huntsville, Alabama. It unleashed an energy of 250 tons of TNT when it broke apart. Fuck me. Causing a boom. Staff the National Weather Service in Cleveland also heard it and felt vibrations. It's like a skyquake. They had no early reports of any debris being found. Brian Mitchell says there could be some small fragments, but a lot would have burned up in the atmosphere. He's a Northwest NWS meteorologist. Meteors typically fall somewhere in the US about once a day, while smaller pieces of space dust might fall ten times an hour. Hergen Rather said, did you know that 10 times an hour space dust falls on you?
B
I did not know that.
A
Scientists track meteors throughout a network of special cameras that help capture the night sky. But more members of the public are catching them on their cell phones and security cameras of their own. Now we're seeing them and there's dozens of videos popping up all the time. So why do I bring this up? Well, because it's fun. And also this is happening in the skies above Ohio where this Bigfoot cluster was taking place last week as we spoke about Jeremiah Byron. Now there was the theory. I can't believe, I can't remember if we talked about it on last week's episode, that they might. Because these, these things were moving across a fault line.
B
Uhhuh.
A
I think after we got off the record. So there's theories that, like that maybe these creatures, if they exist, were migrating away from some sort of natural event, either an earthquake or because the weather is getting weird and a snow. I don't, I don't know if it was a snowstorm, but but temperatures dropped to like, 20 and below in areas of Ohio. And snow is now on the ground in Manaway this past week. So all the people who are outside and seeing these things, enjoying the nicer, warmer weather, have been inside for like, five days as the weather's gotten bad. So sightings have dropped because people aren't out in this cold weather. But I did think it was interesting that then this meteorite crashes, right?
B
Yeah, sure. It's giant meteorite fireball in the sky.
A
We got. We got fireballs, we got meteorites, we got Sasquatch. This. This is. This is fun and interesting.
B
You've also coined the term skyquake, which I am really behind.
A
Skyquake. There was a skyquake and made all the Sasquatches migrate south. I'm not saying there's any correlation between these two, but it's just fun and it's adding to the spooky mood of high strangeness in Ohio right now. Now, I thought maybe we would have more reports. I checked with Jeremiah last night before today, before we're recording today. And I was just like, any updates? And he said not any new physical sightings. But he did have a Sasquatch boots on the ground researcher on his show today or yesterday. So this will be up. You know, it was about a week ago, as you're listening to this name of Glenn Atkin and Glenn Atkins, like an old school Sasquatch ologist. But he was out there. He was talking to some of the eyewitnesses, and it was interesting. I was listening to the episode. I haven't listened to the full thing yet. But Glenn's kind of take on this is that these. And we're just gonna go with Sasquatch exists for the sake of the story that these animals are maybe migrating this time of year or around this time of year anyway. Like, mushrooms are growing. There's like, natural resources that are sprouting up in this section of Ohio. But the weather has been strange everywhere. I feel like this winter is going from really warm to really cold. We're doing it here.
B
Yeah, we're in, like, a heat dome and there's like a blizzard happening.
A
Yeah, it's crazy. So then, like, his theory is that this may not be unusual for these animals to be walking through that area of the country during this time of year. But what's unusual is the weather was warm enough for people to be out and about and actually witness them. And now that it's gotten colder and the snow's on the ground, everyone's Gone back in and activities quieted down. It doesn't mean that activity isn't happening. Okay. People just aren't seeing it this week. Now, I will say historically, when it comes to these flaps, they tend to last, typically, I would say two months to two years long. So just I'm. I was a little, I will say excite. Overly excited last week. I was a little disappointed that we didn't get any major updates this week. Yeah, fun. Meteorite crash. But maybe they telepathically sense a meteorite coming in their area and they're like, we got to get out of here. Who knows?
B
Maybe it was a ship in there.
A
Maybe it's their ship coming back to pick them up. Who knows, you know? But I don't think this is the last that we've heard of this flap. So we'll jump. I mean, how many times in stories of high strangers, we're like, on April 1st, 2nd and 3rd, this happened. And then on April 27th, 2020 9th, these things happen. So we'll see most of them.
B
Really?
A
Yeah. So there's like usually weeks in between. So I don't know if, if it just turns out to be a week long flap, great fun. And we're gonna count on people like Glenn Atkin and Jeremiah Byron to collect the stories. And then it'll take some time before, you know, I'm sure there are other people that haven't come out and talked about stuff that they've seen. So it'll take a while for the lore to bake, but when it does, I think we're gonna have some. Some good. Some good stories from this time period. So there you go. And that's what I'm here for. I'm here for the stories. I love monster stories. I love small town monsters. Okay.
B
Would you consider yourself a Sasquatch ologist at this point?
A
I don't think so. I think I gotta be out in the field real. I got. I think I have to know my way around some plaster. You know what I mean?
B
Okay.
A
I'm. I am an armchair cryptozoologist. And I'm a. I'm a storyteller. I'm an embellisher, Riley.
B
Yes. A weaver of tales.
A
Yes. I'm a bard. I'm a Bigfoot bard.
B
That's what you are. You're a Bigfoot bard.
A
I'm a big football.
B
I like that.
A

Please give us five stars and you bite might be nominated as our five Star Club Scout of the Week. Riley, who do we have this week?
B
This week our five star club scout is mbug73 and mbug says fantastic, fantastic show. These guys have an enjoyable energy and conversational style. Fun conversations about the paranormal and all the other scary stuff without any false attempt at making scary stuff. Scary. Five stars. I like that. That's a good review.
A
Yeah, it was a cyclical review. We reused a few terms but it, it really sold the show and I'm very happy. Mbug, thank you. You are our five Star Club Scout of the Week.
B
You're here.
A
All right, let's crack open the L Files. Now. Let's talk about my friend Arky. Okay.
B
Okay. Oh yeah. Hit me.
A
I don't know.
B
This is new to me. Everyone.
A
So Riley doesn't know about any of this story is still in development, I will say so I would say back in January I started getting emails from a fellow named Arky.
B
Okay.
A
Who lives in Topeka. He's a fisherman, he's 65 years old. He's just a chill guy, really sweet guy. And he has been reaching out to a couple different podcasts and resources to share this story that's happened. So we're not the only people that he's reached out to. He talked to Sasquatch Chronicles and also he sent me a YouTube link that I'll put in the show notes of a conversation that he had with somebody else about this encounter. Now I feel personally attached to this because he had a Sasquatch encounter that took place at Clinton Lake in Kansas. Now Clinton Lake is, I believe a man made link, but it's like a campgrounds fishing area. I could be wrong if it's man made. W Dave Keith, let me know if I'm right or wrong. I could google it, but I'm not going to right now. Keith it like when my aunt moved back from California to Casey and she was building a house, she spent about a month at Clinton Lake in her trailer. You know what I mean? And so I've been out to this area. It's very serene, it's very nice and it's not far at all. It's about 20 minutes in a directly as the crow flies over greenbelt from Clinton Lake to the Haskell Indian Nations University wetlands area where we went out last August and looked at the area where a photographer in 2004 had an encounter that we nicknamed the Haskell Rascal. Okay.
B
Yes.
A
So in terms of like this area, there is already reported Bigfoot activity in this area.
B
Right.
A
So Arky wrote to me and said now he's not Archie, I will say is not big on introductions. He just gets right to the point. So he just wrote I have a Bigfoot sighting that I would like to share with you that I've been trying to get to since it happened at September 13th in 2025. Now I will say I went looked further back and I have not seen any other emails from Arky. Maybe they got lost in junk. So I apologize to him. Said I had about a 40 minute encounter with a Bigfoot at about 70ft distance. This encounter took place at Clinton Lake near Lawrence, Kansas at the Bloomington east courtesy dock. My fishing partner and I both seen the creature, but I'm the only one that got close enough to him to get a really good view. He stayed back with dogs in case something happened to me. He said, I prefer to communicate through text or phone calls, and I can be reached at this number. I am also sending a picture of an artist rendition of what I saw. And like, I tell everybody, this artist got it right. Her rendition is right on the money, down to the hair, except the hair was lighter than what it shows in the drawing. The hair color is more like that of a timberwolf. The salt and pepper with little touches of gray and browns and reddish colors, just like a timberwolf coloration. So if you scroll down and I'll put this up in the YouTube now there is a very fun computer rendering of what this Sasquatch look like. Riley, do you want to describe for our audio listeners what we're looking at? And I will say, I think the photo is real, and then the Sasquatch is, like, photoshopped into a real photo.
B
Yeah.
A
Okay.
B
Okay. All right, so we've got. I'm gonna say seven to eight feet tall.
A
Okay.
B
Glowing red eyes, big forehead. Absolutely jacked.
A
Jacked.
B
I mean, this Bigfoot is not skipping the gym.
A
No, he is. Looks maxed to the maximum.
B
Yes. So mostly hairy, sort of a little less hair on the incredible abs and pecs. And then.
A
And the face is a little. There's flesh on the face.
B
Yeah, flesh on the face also. So it. It does have a little bit of like a silverback gorilla kind of vibe. A little bit, but more human. And this Bigfoot looks like it means business.
A
Yes.
B
It's got a cold. It is. It is serving some blue steel right down the lens.
A
Yes, yes, yes. So Arky says that what happened was. And I'm going to paraphrase from the story now. I've texted with him. I wanted to get a. I wanted to get him on the phone this week, and I. I texted him and asked him if we could talk on the phone. And I didn't ask if I could record, but I'd like to get him on the phone and record his story, if he's okay with that.
B
That'd be awesome.
A
Yeah. But we have texted about it. He sent me a link to the YouTube link. Now I will say, and he has expressed this. I think he's okay with me sharing the story. He says he's not in very good health, and one of the motivations is to get this story out there before he can no longer tell this story. So when I reached out to him, it took a couple weeks for us to get in touch, but I finally texted him at the beginning of last week, and we had emailed a little Bit more. I was like, I'd love to hear more of your story. He's like, give me a text. It's much easier than email. So I texted him and said, hey, sorry it's been a minute, Been a little busy over here in the clubhouse. But I reached out to him and I was like, I'll just re. I'll read you the text that I have and, and everyone bear with me because this is my first time actually, like, speaking to. Trying to like, get to the bottom of a thing. But it's very, very fun.
B
Okay.
A
So I wrote to him and said, let me say, hey, Arki, this is Michael from Bigfoot Collectors Club. Sorry it's been a minute. I'm recovering from the flu and getting caught up on things. Still very interested in hearing about your Bigfoot signing in Lawrence, my favorite town. So then he sent me just this portrait in response. The same thing that you're looking at now?
B
Yes.
A
And that was kind of it. So I let that sit for a few hours and I said, can you tell me about your encounter? I'm available to hop on the phone if you'd rather chat. I'm interested in the time, date, location, length of the encounter, physical description, any other unexplained phenomena you've experienced. And then he said, he sent me a YouTube link. He said, watch that tap on my link. That's my story. I'm Arky the fisherman. And I said, okay, thanks Arkie. And he says, okay, now you know who I am. Who are you?
B
This is great.
A
It's great. And I was like, my name is Michael McMillan. I'm co host of Bigfoot Collectors Club podcast. We talked to guests about the personal paranormal experience, share stories of High Strangest. You reached out to me@bigfootcollectorsclubmail.com gave me your number and told me to text you. We last corresponded on February 24, so I wanted to follow up about your signing. And he said, okay. I didn't recognize the number. And I said, all good. We have not texted before. Here's a screen grab of our email thread as a reminder. And he said, okay, yeah, I've got pictures of the site where we were. We measured the creature. They're all in that video. Just click on that video. So he keeps redirecting me to the video and he says that video will tell you everything you need to know. But if you have questions, pick up the phone and call me. I love hearing my Sasquatch ringtone go off. And I said, haha, cool, I will Take a look and definitely will follow up. Any questions? Thank you. And gave me a little bit more information. We go back and forth a little bit, and he said, I've had sightings down by Pomoto Lake, and I've had sightings up by Norton, and I've had another sighting in Donovan county here in Kansas. So Arky's not a stranger to Bigfoot encounters. Okay. Now, some people might say makes it feel a little less credible, but maybe Arkie's got the touch. Okay, totally.
B
Yeah.
A
He said never reported any of them until now. My health is failing, and I just wanted to tell my story. Kind of a leave a little bit of a legacy behind. And he literally tells me that he had just gotten out of the hospital on Saturday after a second heart attack. So he's recovering from a heart attack as we're talking. So I checked out the video. We chat a little bit more. And then I reached out to him yesterday and was like, I'd love to chat if you've got time. And I haven't heard from him. So I hope he's okay. Hope he's recovering. But here's the story as I know it, and I will paraphrase it and hopefully we'll get Arky to talk to me or we'll record a phone call with me and Arky and we can play back on the show at some point to get more of a detail. But I'm excited because this is definitely a spot that I can find. I have the pinpoint directions because this took place. This thing was standing next to a tree near the parking lot near the docks. So I can go out to this exact location and stand where this thing stood. And I've already been chatting with Steve Berg about maybe him coming back down to Kansas.
B
Next time I'm out, we do an overnight. Can we do it? Can we camp there? Is this a camp?
A
Yeah, it's a campground. You could totally camp there.
B
Dude, let's any excuse to go back to Lawrence.
A
Yeah. So this. This is a place that we could go and be like, it happened literally right here. Okay. But basically, the story goes, this evening or this afternoon, Arkie and his buddy were out fishing. He had two pit bulls with him. That's friends dogs, and they were down on the docks. Now, Arky says that whenever he goes out fishing or if he's out hunting traditionally just for a lark, he'll give out a big Bigfoot whoop or a big Bigfoot call kind of when he's wrapping up, or just a certain point when he's out there and he says, I'll hear. Most of the time I hear nothing. Sometimes I hear coyotes, sometimes I'll hear rustling or scaring up animals or some things. You know, every now and then you get something back. He goes, but on this day when we were at Clinton Lake, like I howled and we got these, I believe it was these wood knocks, huge wood knocks, came back. So he was like, okay, there might be a little activity out here. So they're fishing and they start to hear something moving through the brush. And he said, brush? And he said it's like heavy, something big and heavy moving through. They're hearing grunts, they're hearing like weird vocalizations. It's getting dark, it's coming down to twilight. And he said the dogs started getting spooked and they're like cowering. They're not like going into, they're going into like, like flight mode. And he said he and his buddy looked out behind them and in the twilight he could see red ey shine next, about 9ft up next to this branch in a tree. And so Ary was like, I'm going to go get a closer look. And his friend is like too, was too scared to, to get any closer. So Arky says he walked up and he got about 70ft from this thing. And he said we knew how tall it was cuz there was a branch poking him in the side of the head. And after he left, they got out, they, they figured out how to measure the height of it. And there's pictures of him on this YouTube link where, I mean, he says he's around six foot six, three, and this branch is another three feet above his head. Two and a half, three feet above it. So this thing was very big.
B
Wow.
A
And he said, I just stood there, this thing was standing still and it was grunting at me in not an aggressive way he said, but in sort of a quizzical manner, like just kind of checking me out. And he said if I would move, take a step to the left or the right, it would mirror my movements. He said, I figured it didn't want me coming, circling around and like getting behind it. Right now Archie claims he was sitting there for about 40 minutes just watching this thing. And this thing was barely moving. And then eventually it just turned its back and walked off into the woods. And he went back down to his buddy and he said, you know, the dogs are spooked. And his, his friend was watching the whole thing from further down the docks, but that he had this encounter. He Was be able to get. Get a pretty good look at it. He said. The one thing that he says is like, he said the nose looked very flat and wide. He says it wasn't like a gorillas where it's sort of like nostrilly up flat with the nostrils up. It was.
B
Okay.
A
It was like a nose like ours, but flattened and very flat to the face and white wide. So he's. And then you kind of see that in the. In the drawing that the. That it was given.
B
Yeah.
A
But I guess he's had other, like, he's heard vocalizations. He has seen some movement. He talks about Donovan county in this interview that he did on YouTube. It's just a phone call, you know, so an interesting sighting. Really cool, if true. And I really want to, like, follow up and get to know a little bit more about his past sightings and really get some more details about this encounter. But we can find this tree and we can go stand right where this thing was and be like. And hang out there. He thinks that there's activity down there by Clinton lake. And then again, it's in that kind of area where the Haskell rascal was and not too far from where the leavenworth road crossing took place. So it's all kind of in that general area out there west of Kansas city, Kansas. And I don't know, I'm excited anytime I hear a bigfoot story that takes place that closer where I grew up. Like, I really want to know more about it. It's exciting.
B
But for 40 minutes at 70ft away, I know one picture.
A
I know. Well, I will say from. I have two thoughts about that. One is, I think it was getting pretty dark.
B
Okay.
A
The other thing is, I will say I don't feel. And this is not a knock against Arky. I do not get the sense that he is a very technically equipped guy. He says he has a hard time with email.
B
Yeah. Yeah.
A
So I don't even know if he's got his cell phone out. I don't know. But yes, you're right. Get a camera, get a picture. And that will be one of the questions I'd ask him. Did you try snapping a photo? Was it too dark? Did you think about, you know, where was your camera in this situation? You know, what are you doing for that full 40 minutes that you're looking at this thing?
B
You know, Long time.
A
It's a long time.
B
Yeah.
A
Now, Maybe he means 14, but he wrote 40.
B
I mean, I could see 14. Especially 40 minutes to a fisherman. That ain't Nothing.
A
No, that's true. Patient still. I just, he's. He seems like a very old school.
B
Yeah.
A
Guy sounds like. You know what I mean? But I agree. Let's get the pictures. Yeah. You know, I mean, because that's what I want to know.
B
That's pretty wild. That's a pretty wild story.
A
Yeah. So there you go. There's Arky's tale part one. All right. Hopefully we're gonna get more information about this.
B
I would like to hear more.
A
Yeah, I. I would like this to be a developing investigation over the course of the next year and maybe we'll get to know.
B
But we're probably gonna have to go check it out.
A
I mean it might make sense to go out in mid September. This happened on September 15th, so it might make sense. Now. I don't want all y' all rushing out there and cramping our style, but
B
scaring us at the campsite.
A
Scaring us at the campsite. Trying to get our pictures, you know, but might be worth going out there that time of year and just seeing if there's any activity we haven't done like the thing that I'm. I want to remind everybody this is two weeks after. No, was it. It's about a month after we were out there. Cuz we did the show, what, August 1st, or was it September 1st?
B
Ah, you're better at that.
A
I don't know. Well, I can look at my calendar right now and tell you. But it was. What's crazy is we were just out in that area. We were 20 minutes from this place.
B
Maybe we stirred it up.
A
I.
B
Investigations.
A
That's what I'm saying. So we were out there. It was. I don't even have it on my calendar.
B
An unimportant detail. I can.
A
Important detail. It was around the time we were out. I think it was August 1st.
B
Sounds that weekend.
A
Yeah. Yeah.
B
Somebody knows.
A
Yeah, yeah, somebody knows. Somebody was there. They could tell us. But it's probably on the BCC calendar. I'm not gonna mess with it right now. Okay, everybody. Arkie's Tale Part 1 continuing story. We'll see where it goes. This might lead to an investigation and another legend.
B
At least to a camping trip.
A
Absolutely. I just need a toilet. I just need access to a toilet. I'm not pooping in a hole.
B
What if I get one of those ones where it's like the seat on the. On the metal sort of walker thing and I dig a nice hole? Yeah.
A
I just don't want. I'm just kidding.
B
Campgrounds have toilets, man. Campgrounds have showers usually. Okay.
A
Okay. That's okay.
B
Maybe two.
A
I just got. I mean, I don't know what I'll do if the grid goes down. I'll just never poop again. I guess so. I guess that's what's gonna happen. All right, everyone, we're gonna take a break. A
Okay, Riley. Okay, let's dip into these L files now. Here's one that is not from that far ago. We have that far back. We had a gentleman by the name of Eric M. Reach out to us. Another. A man of few words. Great. But he's got a photo and not of a Bigfoot, I'll say of a track. And reached out to us recently about a track that he found on February 23rd of this year. So this is some real where in the world is Bigfoot San Diego type material here. So why don't you read to us? Read this letter from Eric to us.
B
Okay. Well, Eric says I am reaching out to share physical evidence of a potential Sasquatch track captured on February 23rd in Rock Springs Run State Park.
A
I'm gonna look up where that is. You keep going.
B
Discovery details. This is very to the point. Location type. The location is in Rock Springs Run State park. Right across from the Wakiva island in Longwood, Florida. That has a lot of swampy terrain, Florida dimensions. The print measures approximately 13 1/2 inches in length and approximately 812 in in width. It's a big track that's a bigfoot stride trackway. This was a lone print. There was a clear trackway leading in the close area where people have reported seeing a shadowy figure 8 to 10ft tall.
A
Okay.
B
Across the Wakiva river at Wea island in Longwood Substrate. It was a deep, dry dirt print. Due to lack of rain here because of the drought. I have attached high resolution photos of the print. I made sure to include in the shots for. I also have the GPS coordinates available should you require them for your database. I love that we're assuming we have a database.
A
Yeah.
B
I look forward to hearing your thoughts on these findings. Best regards, Eric M. And I am scrolling. Great.
A
So scroll down. He sent a couple pictures of the track, but I thought this was like the clearest one. And I will put this up. You can really. Yeah. I mean, see, this look like a Bigfoot track.
B
That really does.
A
I mean, this is. When I think of a Bigfoot track. This is what I picture.
B
I do too.
A
I'm not gonna.
B
You got toe shape. You got a little bit of an arch in the. Yeah, you definitely have like a weighting of the heel and the ball.
A
Yep.
B
I mean, it's very track.
A
Like, it's a great track. I think you found yourself a great print. There was a. I don't know if he made a plaster cast photo and sent it to us. There were a couple other photos, but this one I just thought was like, okay, this is just a clear shot of the track. You see it? I see what he's seeing, but I
B
think I'm baffled by the lone track though. That's always so strange to me. Like, yeah, you know, just the one.
A
Just the one. I mean, maybe they're stepping on a log. Maybe this particular part of the ground sinks and the others don't. That was something Glenn Atkin was talking to Jeremiah Byron about. Like he said when they went out to look at the area in Ohio, they were hoping to find a lot of tracks because it had rained recently. And he was like. The ground was really hard and compact. He said we were jumping off of things, trying to make indentions in the ground. We couldn't. Couldn't make anything. So I don't know. I don't know enough about dirt to give you, you know, I don't know. But this looks great. I'm not gonna put the pinned location. Oh, boy. My. My backlighting just died. I always think just because I don't want anyone to cramp the area. I don't know if he wants us to share. I Mean, it's for our database. Oh, I would just.
B
He did a. He did a LIDAR scan on it.
A
Huh? Let's take a look.
B
Yeah, underneath the location it says 48.3 thousand Gaussians.
A
I feel like Eric knows what he's doing.
B
Seems like it.
A
Let me pull up the Gmail as we're sitting here. And now, how do you feel in general, Riley, when you hear about tracks?
B
Well, I'll tell you, when I was recently in Kenya, I got to see some lion tracks that had just been left. And. And then we were also sort of learning to identify some other tracks and. Which was extremely cool. Just, you know, just wanted to throw out there that I can track a lion now.
A
Okay, so how do you track a lion?
B
You don't. You run away. But I mean, that's why I was saying the single track is really baffling because even that it was like it had just rained and we were at the spot and there were some lion tracks on the ground. He was showing us. He was like, these just came through here recently. And you can see, like, you can see the stride and you can see the tracks, and you can see where it came from, where it was going and where the ground was softer. And you can really, you could very easily just follow that, like, which is really cool to see and know. But so then when I'm like one track, it gives me pause. I just.
A
Okay.
B
It's like kind of that Pareidolia thing where it's like maybe it is just like something that is foot shaped.
A
Right.
B
And so and we're looking for that and we want to find it. And so you finally find something in nature that's a little foot shaped. That said, this is very foot shaped.
A
It's very foot shaped. Here are some other pictures. I don't know quite what we're looking at here now. I think this last picture I'm putting up, I'll put it up here is like. Is this the LIDAR scan in augmented reality? I don't know. Or is this the print? Is this the plaster? This must be the plaster.
B
It looks like a plaster. Yeah, but see, and this looks less like a foot.
A
Okay, I do, I do. So the bottom of the picture is the heel. And then you can see, you can kind of make out toe shapes at the top of this.
B
Okay, yeah, but it like, couldn't that also just be a shape from nature?
A
It might also just be a bad cast. Yes, yes. And yes.
B
I mean, it does. It has the. It, it's very foot shaped. It looks like a track, but one track on its own is a thing that is not. Not a thing.
A
It's hard to tell with all the, like, leaves and grit in here. What I'm looking at.
B
So that's another thing is that it looks old. Like, because a fresh track wouldn't have, like, all of this soft debris over the top of it. That means that's been sitting for a while. Like, because you can see, like. Yeah. There's all these undisturbed leaves. There's fresh green greens over the top. It's like that's been there for a while. Okay. Which maybe means the other tracks are gone.
A
Are gone.
B
Which does kind of give us some credence again.
A
Yeah, I get it, Eric. I see what you're seeing.
B
I see it too.
A
I would just. Let's. If, if you have follow up information, send it. If you've had to analyze. If you find any, like, ridges, any of that stuff, let us know. But hey, I love that you're doing it. I love that you saw it. I love that you're. You're taking it seriously.
B
Me too.
A
And I love that you're sending it to us. Yeah.
B
You're taking pictures, you're scanning, you're casting, you're marking coordinates.
A
He did write dear BCC team, I forgot. So he didn't just cold open like Arky. Okay.
B
Thank you for sending it. Yes.
A
Yes.
B
That's very cool.
A
Very, very cool.
B
Yeah.
A
All right, let me read this next one. What do you say? Hit it. Now, this one is from 2023. So I went back and I found it in the archives.
B
Okay.
A
How's it going, BCC friends? I'm a relatively new listener coming over from Distractable, so that gives you an idea of when this happened.
B
Nice.
A
When I heard about. When I heard the ad about bcc, I knew I had to get over here and listen to the paranormal. Goodness. This. I have a story for you. But it. This wasn't my experience. It was my grandpa's that he would tell us about as kids. And still to this day. Listen, I love nothing more than a Grandpa Bigfoot story. Grandpa's Bigfoot encounter. Pop me on his lap right now. Let him.
B
Let's go.
A
Just hold me and tell me to my face. So this happened in October 1963, up in Diamond Fork Canyon near Springville, Utah. Now, I know what you're thinking. Bigfoot, Utah. No way. Well, my grandpa is also skeptical about what he and his two friends witnessed that day and don't know what to think. Now, I will Say, the writer here, his name is Slade. Slade. Utah's got a lot of activity. Bigfoot activity. Yeah. Provo, Utah. Bigfoot. There's some famous Bigfoot stuff there also.
B
Those woods outside it. Is it Provo. That what's. I forgot what those ones are called. Our very paranormal active.
A
Yeah.
B
UFO hotspot, all that we got.
A
You know, the ranch is there. That's Utah. There's a lot of crazy stuff there. Yeah. My grandpa and his childhood friend, along with his friend's younger brother, decided to go hunting up in Diamond Fork Canyon. They had set up a campsite at the base of the canyon and traveled by horseback all around looking for deer. Eventually, they got a deer, and it took some time to get it close cleaned and tied back to the. Tied to the back of my grandpa's horse.
B
Wow.
A
Horseback, deer hunting.
B
Rugged people. Yeah.
A
Since I. Since it was getting late and the sun had started to set, they started down the canyon back to their camp. With my grandpa's friend in the lead and my grandpa in the middle and the younger brother in the back, they started to realize the horses were acting strange. My grandpa had been a seasoned hunter and been around horses his whole life, so he knew that the horses were acting. Acting like a predator was around. Being in the Wasatch Mountains, he assumed that I was. It was a mountain lion or a bear. So they all got their guns out and they started scanning the horizon through the trees and brush. That was when my grandpa's friend in the lead position spotted two individuals at about their 8 o' clock position and walking in a path that would intersect their position. One was taller than the other, but because the sun was setting, there wasn't enough light to make out any details. It just looked like an adult and a child. Thinking they were lost hikers, my grandpa and his friends called out to him asking if they needed help, but never received an answer. The two figures were walking, but somehow gaining more ground than he and his friends were. That's. That would be a spooky thing to realize. Like, wait a minute. They're walking, but they're getting here faster than they should.
B
Yeah.
A
Yeah. That's when it struck my grandpa and his friends that the shortest figure was taller than they were and they were on horseback.
B
Yikes. Whoa.
A
That's creepy. At this time, they kept trotting along the path, unsure what to do and just trying to keep the horses from darting because of how badly spooked they were. The younger brother in the back of the trio is crying and begging that they don't leave him behind since he was still new to riding horses. The figures were getting closer and closer and panic ensued between the trio. My grandpa's friend in the lead, cycles around in his gun and tells the figures to stop and to not come any closer. The shortest figure, still taller than them while on horseback, stops dead in its tracks. But the tallest figure keeps coming. At this point, my grandpa knows the horses are going to bolt and he starts tying himself to the horn and leaning towards forward to hug the horse so it doesn't buck him off. He thought about cutting the deer off the horse, but he knew it would spook them even more. He would always say he'd rather be dragged along than stay back with the 2ft figures. The tall figure had passed then and was about 10 or at the 10 or 11 o' clock position when sure enough, all three horses bolted as the taller figure was so close it was peering from behind a tree maybe 10 yards away. My grandpa never looked back as he buried himself in the horse to try and hold on for dear life. The horses had darted all the way back to their base camp, seeming to know exactly where to go without any instruction. They didn't stay the night. They packed up and left and tried telling their other friends and family, but everyone seemed to think it was a couple of bears. My grandpa would swear up and down that it wasn't bears. They were walking like humans, moving like humans, and seemed to have some sort of intelligence to know what a gun is and what the sound of a rifle loading is. Bears don't typically walk on their hind legs for long periods, let alone that fast, just while. While just walking. To be honest, my grandpa doesn't know what it was that he saw. He always jokingly calls it Bigfoot, but when I got older I asked him what he thought it actually was and he had no clue. Bigfoot was the only thing that made sense. My grandpa still reminisces with his two friends over the experience and all three agree they are never going back up to Diamond Fork Canyon and haven't since. Thank you for taking the time to listen to my grandpa's experience and I hope you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed hearing it as a kid and as an adult. It has sparked a lifelong interest in Bigfoot and the paranormal. Wishing you all the best, Slade. Fantastic story.
B
Great chef's kiss. Yeah, that is. I mean, prime. That's a. That's a perfect Bigfoot story.
A
I. I wish. And Slade, if you're still listening to the show, sorry it took so long. To read this. I wish we had a little bit more detail. He said it was dark. I. I want to know. Could. Did anyone in the party get a look? Like were they covered in hair? Like what color? If there. There's any physical description of them beyond their height, I would love to know. But great story. Super creepy. And I love the added detail that the animals were clearly spooked and saw something too.
B
Totally.
A
You got other two other eyewitnesses here. You've got. Got six living creatures in total.
B
Yeah.
A
You know, I bet they smell that dead deer.
B
It came in.
A
They're coming close to it. You know what I mean? I bet they were. I would. I bet they were interested in that deer.
B
And these are like seasoned outdoors people too.
A
Yeah.
B
You know, they know what's up. And the fact that it also.
A
Yeah. Scares me. The heights. Very scary. It's really scary how tall these things.
B
But the fact that it seemed to show intelligence too and react to the sound of the gun being loaded and it kind of like they knew what was happening. And. And it's true. Like that's not how bears operate. They don't walk around on their hind feet moving all fast like that. It's just not. That's not a thing.
A
No.
B
And it. And it also. This does not sound like a grandpa spinning a yarn story because there are others involved. So this is like a. Yeah.
A
And it's not silly. It doesn't have a right. Albert Osman. Like they put me in my gunne sack and carry me back to their house.
B
Yeah. It's like. No, we like the horses bolted. We almost fell off and we went
A
home and we were scared and we've never gone back. That is a. That is a spooky ass grandpa story. I love it. Slade.
B
Yeah.
A
A plus L file.
B
Good one.
A

B
would love to read the story from JS Well, JS Says I hate telling this story, and I've only done so a few times because I work in media. And you don't want to be that guy, but what the heck. Well, JS welcome to the club, buddy.
A
Yeah, we have been that guy for a long time. Almost nine years now.
B
It's not so bad. JS Continues. It's also probably one of the more boring Bigfoot stories ever, I'm sure.
A
Okay, well, then what are we doing? By the way, this is a very old elf file that I missed. This is from, like, 2019. So this is a long time ago.
B
Well, even going even further back, this story is from 1972. So, you know, we let it simmer. Good way. Yeah. I was in eighth grade and up at our family camp in upstate New York, near the southern end of the Adirondack Mountains. This is a desolate area to this day with very little human occupation. Mostly camps and hunting cabins near the one road running through the area. There were even fewer people back then. Sending you a Google Maps link to the spot so you can see for yourself, but please don't share that link. We will not. One morning in June, I'd gone down by myself to play near the river. It's what we all did back then. Approaching the water through the trees, I saw a dark figure on the other side of the river saying, river is being generous. It was only about 30ft across at that point. That's a river. 30ft.
A
It's a river.
B
That's fully a river.
A
Yeah.
B
At. At first, I thought it might be a bear. Not unusual because there are black bears in that area. But this was much larger than a regular black bear. Bear hunched down and rooting around at the water's edge with its hand. Yes, hands. Then it stood up, and I knew it wasn't a bear. I'd seen plenty of them already, came from a family of hunters, but this thing was way taller than a normal adult man. It also had a face not like a bear's snout. It walked a few steps and crouched down again to root around some more. It didn't walk like a bear on two legs. They don't do that for long and are very awkward on two legs. This thing walked like a person. I backed out of there as quietly as I could and ran back up to our camp to tell my mom. Keep in mind that this was the early 70s. I'd never heard of Bigfoot or Sasquatch or Anything like that. I told my mom I'd seen a huge monkey or an ape. I'd never actually seen one of those in real life either, but I knew of them. My mom told me to stop making up stories and go back out and play before I got a spanking.
A
Thanks, mom.
B
I went back down to the water again, but it was gone. I never saw it again. I don't even. I didn't even think about it for years until I did finally start learning about the stories of bigfoot and started making the connection. Age has dimmed the memory for specific details, but I know what I saw. And there are no apes or monkeys around that region, naturally, Nor any zoos or circuses one might have escaped from. To this day, I'm sure that's what I saw. But obviously I have zero proof and no other witnesses. JS JS you saw a bigfoot?
A
Man, there's nothing boring about seeing a bigfoot. There's no such thing as a boring bigfoot story. That is a great story.
B
A childhood Bigfoot too, nonetheless full of
A
whimsy and reminds me of the story that we talked about. Oh, it's been a while. I think it was during big hairy summer, the Chicago bigfoot encounter about the guy who was in a park in Chicago and he saw this thing across from the stream from him and it was. It had its finger in the water. It was hunched over, you know, dipping his finger in the water. And that reminds me of this encounter as well.
B
Pondering its own reflection.
A
Like, yeah, yeah. Why so ugly? You know, having a real existential moment.
B
Yeah.
A
Everybody a monster.
B
Or is society the monster that enforces these beauty standards?
A
Exactly. No, this is a great story.
B
Great story.
A
Well told.
B
It really put. It put me in the 70s at that little hunting camp too. And I. And the 70s mom just like, shut up.
A
And echoing the grand grandpa's story of like, this thing didn't walk like a bear on two legs. This was walking like a person.
B
Good through line. Good through line. Because bears on two legs are real, like, goofy. Like they're stubby little legs.
A
It doesn't. Yeah, think of all. To your point. Think of all the like, 70s moms and grandmas that like, missed out on seeing bigfoot because they thought their kid was lying.
B
Yeah, totally.
A
Because they were unhappy that they had children. They could have seen a mythical creature. Look at what your child is trying to do. It could have changed your whole worldview. Instead you just needed to smoke your cools, you know, and read love letters from your husband's Best friend. Why?
B
You have another wine cooler? Yeah.
A
All right, here's our last letter of the batch. Now we're gonna mix in a couple other phenomena in this one, but there's a Bigfoot story, so here we go. All right.
B
Big finish.
A
Good evening. First and foremost, I love your podcast. I'm at episode 7.5 right now.
B
Whoa.
A
I don't know how old this letter was. I think there was more recent, but they're just jumping on and I had to take a moment to tell you my stories. I'm not sure if you still do listener file, since I'm trying to go in order and not skip ahead, but I do have three and they touch each part of your podcast.
B
I love to interrupt that this person is going to, once they get through the entire catalog, finally hear their letter. Ready?
A
That's great, Michael. There's a reward for you right now. When I was younger, about six. Oh, first is Bigfoot creature. When I was younger, about six years ago, we moved around a lot. It started in Kentucky and I heard of a sighting of of Bigfoot but didn't think much about it. Shortly after, we moved to Ohio for a year and we heard another sighting and my dad made a joke saying it was was following me. After the year, we moved to Louisiana and we had a hundred acre horse farm. Within the year of moving down, we heard of another sighting and kind of laughed it off. Now, on this farm, I'd say about 25% of the perimeter was dense woods. And I used to walk the perimeter every day, every evening as a small workout and listening for dogs and coyotes. This evening I had my three dogs walking with me and they were a little ahead. But one of them, Fred, froze looking into the woods and did a low woof to let me know something was in there. I took a couple quick steps and looked to my left and locked eyes with something. I'm 66. Damn. And I all was almost staring up in the face of something with yellow and orange eyes. As soon as I looked in its eyes, it. It turned and I heard three big steps and it was gone. I was standing there for a good four seconds staring into the blank woods before I noticed my dogs were gone. I looked around and saw them running back to the house. I was like, wow, thanks. Lol. Nothing since then. But I can't explain what I saw. I only saw the eyes and the shadow out line.
B
Wow.
A
Come on. Spooky. Classic Bigfoot encounter. See, dogs are afraid of this thing. Yeah.
B
Yeah, they are out.
A
Yeah. Second story. Spirits. I'VE had experiences all my life here and there. Once I was in a house. I believe that someone else I. I believe had someone else in it. My girlfriend was asleep at the time and I felt something cold on my right arm and face. I calmly said, I'm fine with you being here, but don't scare my girlfriend please. And could you also move your cold? As soon as I said it, the cold lifted. I love that. Can you move your cold please? That's a great way to talk to a ghost. Yeah, yeah. But my big story is a few months ago I was hanging out with my friends and caught a shadow figure out of the corner of my right eye running into the side room room. I snapped my head towards it and followed it. Before I made it into the room, both of their cats came running out of the room as fast as they could. When I made it to the room, I looked inside and saw nothing. But I did feel a weight. I went back to the living room and looked at my girlfriend and she knew I saw something. Later in the car, I told her. The next day my friend came down with something and has been sick since. So far today to today, no doctor can figure out what's wrong with her. I'm contemplating calling. Something about the shadow I saw. Whoa, that's creepy. Saw a weird shadow and now your friend is sick. Call a medium.
B
It couldn't hurt.
A
Maybe it's time.
B
Yeah.
A
Spooky.
B
Yeah.

Third UFO's over my life. I've seen things I can't explain in the sky. However, the best experience I have is on the 100 acre farm. In my previous story, I'd walked outside to let the dogs out and felt this hum. I didn't hear anything. I just felt it. I looked at my house and saw the windows rattling and then looked up. I saw a triangle UFO and it was so big and so close I could see the circle windows and I saw people walking around.
B
What?
A
But they were a blue or gray looking color. I ran inside and yelled for my mom to come out and hurry. She came out and saw it above our house and just said oh my God. The next day, one of her coworkers said she felt her house vibrate that night for 20 minutes after hours. And I need to add in here. Six years later, my current girlfriend saw it as well. About an hour away from when I saw it. I just recently told her about it. And then he wrote a little bit more about collecting stuff, keychains and cool stickers. But then he closed out with Sincerely, Michael M. Michael this is crazy.
B
Yeah.
A
It's gonna be a while before you hear this. I might write. I might write to Michael and find out exactly where these. Because we got a Bigfoot and UFO sighting taking place in the same.
B
Yeah, this a hot spot. Yeah, it's a hot spot.
A
I got to find out about this.
B
And multiple UFO witnesses. And up close, that is Occupants.
A
I need to talk to Michael. Michael, you and I need to chat.
B
You have a little follow up. Michael to Michael here.
A
Michael to Michael. Michael M. To Michael M. Yeah, seriously, we need to. We need to talk. Cool stuff. High chop. Three paragraphs, full of high strangeness. Yeah.
B
Full high strangeness on the 100 acre horse farm. What a setting. God. Amazing. A lot of horses in this episode.
A
A lot of horses in this episode.
B
Yeah, it's a horse heavy. Horse heavy. So.
A
Horse heavy. So I love it. Well, everybody, if you have a story that you want to share again, write to us@bigfootcollectorsclub gmail.com. if you have written to us and we've not done it yet, bump it, send it to me again and say resending L File story or whatever it has. There's never been a great method of me keeping track. I've just. My memory, for the most part, is I can see which ones I've opened. I've opened most of the recent ones and we've done most of the recent ones.
B
I try not to open them from our email so that I don't throw off your system.
A
There's a cheap chunk that I've just discovered where there's some good stuff in there, so I will mind that. But if you're like, why haven't they done my story yet? Just resend it to me, bump it, remind me. And so I can. I'll. I'll start keeping better track.
B
But we get a tremendous amount of spam, of people trying to promote our podcast or whatever.
A
Yeah. And lots of requests for, like, book blurbs for things that's new.
B
Yeah.
A
Have nothing to do with the paranormal. Yeah, it's very strange. Yes. So please write L file or resending L File and. And then I will know.
B
Yeah.
A
All right, well, quick, Collector's Corner. Anything you want to plug, Anything you're working on, maybe, or anything. Any.
B
I've been. I'm deep and deep in my little. My little bots, and I'm extremely close to releasing the. The super tuner as an iOS app for iPhone and iPad. So it's going to be on the App Store. It's amazing. The programming is done. The Tuner works so exceptionally well. I kind of like can't believe it. I really think it's like, it's incredible. It has a bunch of different modes, it has a bunch of different presets for like every instrument you can think of. And if I missed one, send me a message and I will add it in. It's not live yet. There's some final sort of stuff with Apple that I have to sort out. But. But it's done, it's going to be live. And you can check out peacedrone.net which is like my. That's like my free experimental development page. So I have an idea. I make a web demo, I throw it up there and I see if people like it. And the thing that is my most visited site by far is the Super Tuner. So that is now an app and you'll be able to buy it really soon. I will definitely be telling you guys when it goes live. But yeah, in the meantime, you can check out peacedrone.net, you can also check out peacedrone.com which is the sort of commercial facing side of this whole thing. I'm building tons of different software that is all going to be start selling soon. And I have this whole sort of like ethos about like no ads, no telemetry, no spying, no subscriptions. Like I just want to build cool stuff that is useful and you buy it and you own it and that's that.
A
It's a tool.
B
Yeah, yeah, exactly. And I just, I really don't like this whole thing about like advertising disguised as surveillance in our modern world. And I want to have no part of it. So I'm trying to do the opposite. And I've just been really enjoying this journey of like learning to build software and digital tools and have a bunch of stuff in the pipeline. I'm super stoked on it. So yeah, check it out.
A
Follow me. That's exciting, buddy.
B
Yeah, I'm excited.

The "Sasquatch Spring Break L-Files" is a special edition of Bigfoot Collectors Club in which hosts Michael McMillian and Riley Bray celebrate spring break BCC-style: with a deep dive into listener-submitted stories (the "L Files") of Bigfoot, high strangeness, and other paranormal happenings. The episode blends playful banter, investigative curiosity, and genuine excitement as the hosts highlight recent and archived accounts—including a developing Kansas case, a fresh Bigfoot track discovery, and multi-generational encounters.
Notable Quote:
On Weather & Migration:
“These animals are maybe migrating...what’s unusual is the weather was warm enough for people to be out and observe them.” — Michael (13:17)
Arky’s Rendering:
“This Bigfoot is not skipping the gym...he looks maxed to the maximum.” — Riley (24:01)
On Grandpa’s Tale:
“The shortest figure was taller than they were on horseback.” — Letter (50:46)
“Prime—that’s a perfect Bigfoot story.” — Riley (53:26)
Childhood Encounters:
“There’s no such thing as a boring Bigfoot story.” — Michael (59:17)
Cumulative Paranormal:
“Three paragraphs full of high strangeness.” — Riley (67:18)
This episode of Bigfoot Collectors Club exemplifies the show’s blend of humor, curiosity, and genuine delight in the weird. Listeners are treated to a romp through “an all Squatch batch of L files," ranging from shadowy figures in Louisiana woods to multi-generational horse-based high strangeness in the American West, to freshly discovered tracks in Florida and childhood encounters in upstate New York. Michael and Riley’s enthusiasm is infectious, and their invitations to join or even witness future investigations (especially at Clinton Lake) make this episode both a club meeting and a call to adventure for any would-be cryptid hunter.
