Bluey
This episode of Bluey is called Hotel it was a sunny morning in the Healer House and Mama was heading to the bathroom for a quick shower. Bandit. I'm just having a quick shower and then I'll give you a hand cleaning the room. She called. All good. I've got it covered. Dad replied confidently. Meanwhile, under a duvet in the bedroom, Bluey and Bingo were giggling and trying to keep quiet. Dad walked into the room and began searching dramatically. Now where are those naughty kids? He wondered aloud. Bingo couldn't hold in her laughter and just as dad whipped off the duvet, they squealed with delight. Oh whoa. Here they are. Dad exclaimed. Lets play hotels. Bluey said excitedly. Oh no, not hotels. Dad groaned, knowing full well what he was in for. Soon the Healer House was transformed into a bustling pretend hotel. Bluey was the receptionist, sitting behind a desk made from a laundry basket while Bingo labeled the doors with crayon numbered signs. Bluey spotted a guest coming up the stairs to reception. Excited, Bingo said she wants to be a crazy pillow, but Bluey told her that she has to be a crazy hotel helper instead, to which Bingo responded with a disappointed sigh. The guest, dad then arrived at the makeshift lobby and Bluey greeted him with her best professional tone. Dad leaned in and tapped the top of Bingo's head like a bell. Ding. Bingo shouted so loudly that dad recoiled, covering his ears. Ah, I might just fix that bell's volume. He said, pretending to adjust Bingo's head. The next ding was much gentler. Bluey greeted dad, saying hello, how are you? We are very nice. Dad asked for a room with the TV and Bluey eagerly took him on a tour of the hotel. Oh yes, we have some rooms. She said, leading him through the house, showing him all the available rooms. Dad told Bluey that he had a very important cleaning job to do in the morning and that it was very important that he is not disturbed. They went through the girls bedroom, the office, then stopped at the bathroom where Bingo was sitting on the toilet pretending to be a guest. Hey, do you mind? Bingo shouted. Oh no, too stinky. Dad replied, waving his hand in front of his nose. Finally they reached the master bedroom. Bluey opened the door with a flourish. This is the big room. It has a bed, a tv and oh, there's a lady in the shower. Is that okay? Dad pressed down on the bed a few times and climbed in. This will do nicely, he said. Good night. But his sleep didn't last long. Bingo, being the crazy helper, burst into the room shouting yarp. Yarp Yarp. While pretending to tidy up, Bluey dragged Bingo out of the room. That didn't last long either as Bingo the crazy helper came back into the room, shouting and pulling the covers off of Dad's bed. I am terribly sorry about this, sir. This is very embarrassing. It won't happen again. Bluey said, continuing to pretend to be the hotel manager. Bluey once again dragged Bingo out of the room as dad settled back into bed. But Bingo stormed back into Dad's bedroom, this time banging pods together, offering night bacon for Dad's breakfast. Dad was well and truly awake now and wasn't going back to sleep. As long as I'm up, I might as well watch the news. Bingo once again asked Bluey if she could be a crazy pillow, but Bluey wanted Bingo to pretend to be the news. Bingo sighed sadly again, but agreed to be the news anchor in order to keep the fun going. Dad pretended to turn on the TV with his pretend remote and Bingo began providing news updates. But Bluey took over, throwing Bingo around and shouting about storms and thunder. Boom. Boom. Oh. Bluey exclaimed, waving Bingo like a rag doll. Dad watched in shock, not knowing what he was seeing. Bluey, I want to be a crazy pillow. Bingo pleaded, but Bluey brushed her off again. No. You're the news. Frustrated, Bingo stomped out of the room. No, I'm not playing. You're bossing me around. Come back this instant. Bluey called after her, but Bingo was gone. Dad, always trying to lighten the mood, said, ah, tv. Always people shouting at each other. Then he pretended to turn off the TV and decided it was time to get back to real life. All right, kid, dad said. I've got to get back to making the bed. No, dad, wait. Don't stop. You have to keep playing. We're not finished. Hotels. Bluey begged. Well, you'd better sort it out with Bingo, kiddo. Dad said. You have to let her make some decisions too, you know. Bluey found Bingo lying on her bed facing the wall. Bluey was begging Bingo to come back to play, but Bingo kept saying no. Please, Bingo. I'll do anything. She pleaded. Bingo sat up with a serious expression. All right, I'll play. But I want to be a crazy pillow. Bluey hesitated, then smiled. Okay. Bluey returned to Dad's hotel room, carrying Bingo in her arms like a pillow. Hello, sir. I have a new pillow here for you. She announced. Oh, thank you, dad replied, settling back into the bed. Don't worry, it's not a crazy pillow. Bluey reassured him. Well, that's a plus. Dad said as he'd lay his head on Bingo. My, oh my, this is very comfortable. And not wriggly at all. Okay, well, I best go to sleep now. Night. But Bingo, excited to finally act as a crazy pillow, mischievously tickled Dad's nose, making him wake up with a startle. Hmm, that's odd. He murmured before trying to go back to sleep. But Bingo giggled and tried to crawl out of the bed. Hey, pillow, get back here. Dad exclaimed, catching her before she could escape. He plopped Bingo back at the top of the bed and firmly said, now stay there, pillow. Next, dad looked around and dramatically announced, where's my blanket? Without missing a beat, he grabbed Bluey and wrapped her around himself, pretending she was his cozy blanket. Ah, that's better. He said, settling in with Bingo as his pillow and Bluey as his blanket. And for a moment, the room was calm, with dad pretending to sleep peacefully, snoring comfortably. But Bluey couldn't hold back her grin. Tickle him. She shouted. And both girls pounced, their little hands darting to Dad's sides. Hey, this is a crazy pillow. Dad laughed, squirming under their playful attack. Yeah. Bingo cheered proudly. And I'm a crazy blanket. Bluey added with a giggle. With a final burst of laughter, the girls hopped off the bed and dashed away. Ah, runaway bed stuff. Dad cried as he jumped jumped up to chase them. Dad chased the girls around the room, throwing pillows and the duvet at them like a net. I'll catch you with my net. He shouted. But the girls were too quick. The bedroom quickly descended into chaos, with sheets, pillows and toys scattered everywhere. Just then, mom walked out of the bathroom after a long and relaxing shower, humming and toweling off her hair. She stopped in her tracks, staring at the mess in shock. I thought you were gonna clean the room. She said with a smile. This playful adventure in the Healer house reminded us that even the simplest games can create lasting memories when everyone gets a chance to contribute. Bluey learned the importance of listening to others and and sharing the fun, while dad, as always, embraced the mayhem with a smile, proving that a messy room is a small price to pay for big family fun.
