2w ago02:05:14Tap to summarize**THIS IS NOT AN AUDIO BOOK**RF Kuang took a page out of Brandon Sanderson's book and decided everything will happen in the final 10% of Robin's story. The sisters are deeply disappointed by Letty, who they thought was similar to Hermione but turned out to be Lord Voldemort. Overall we enjoyed the first 3/4 of the read but the ending fell a little flat for us. We appreciated the lessons learned along the way but feel bummed out there was no hope for the Letty's.Thanks for joining the club! Letty convinces the crew to go to the once in a life-time University College Ball, even though the rest of the cohort are certain they will be treated like waitstaff and experience nonstop microaggressions. Letty says, no way! We are all Babel students in polite society. No one will treat you badly. Jokes on everyone as the ball turns out just as bad as the crew thought it would.Lovell finds out about Robin's interaction with Hermes. Instead of getting kicked out of Babel, Lovell tries the nice-guy tactic. This is about as effective as an alligator trying to smile at you. The past section follows four teenage students - Daisy, Tom, Allison, & Slug. It is clear Tom is a psychopath in training who is only outweirded by his brofriend Slug. Per the text, Tom wants to be Daisy's boyfriend <3 Per the subtext, Allison also wants to be Daisy's girlfriend <3 The present day section follows three girlfriends, Sex and the City Style - Bonnie (Sex positive Sammantha), Gretchen (tradwife Charlotte), and Sydney (our self-absorbed Carrie Bradshaw). You may ask WHERE'S Miranda? She is stuck in the past as the closeted Allison.Unfortunately for our story, the story quickly turns Death and the City as our Bonnie/Sammantha gets cut to ribbons in her NY apartment.Who is the murderer?
