The HBO-Netflix documentary is so slanted in favor of Sean Ellis it is difficult to digest. In order to believe Sean Ellis is innocent, you'd have to believe that his uncle, best friend, and girlfriend were (are) lying. To our knowledge none of these witnesses, that tied Ellis directly to the brutal 1993, homicide recanted their testimony, why? Sean Ellis's co-defendant told the police Sean Ellis shot Det. Mulligan five times in the face, Sean's girlfriend testified Sean brought the guns to her house, she left her fingerprint on the weapon. Sean's Uncle Dave asked Sean where the guns were, Sean gave detailed information as to where and how the guns were hidden, that is exactly how the weapons were recovered. So The question is where is the mystery in this case? It is true that corrupt police detectives were involved in Sean Ellis's case, the remedy for that is a retrial, but claims of actual innocence? Its been reported that the crime scene, a 100 acre island within Crawford Pond, was a brutal one, with likely DNA transfer. Devan Young purportedly inserted himself into the investigation and attempted to lead Maine State Police away from the crime scene and Sunny's body. He was ultimately arrested and charged with murder, July 16, 2025.The victim and alleged perpetrator seemingly crossed paths at Mic Mac Campgrounds on the pond, Devan Young was staying with his parents and Sunny was renting for a few weeks to get in her paddle-board fix in. What exactly lead up to this murder, is currently unknown, police are tight lipped by design in this case. It is difficult to determine which crappy decision, lead to the intersection of incompetence and corruption, yet here we are.The NCDA's doesn't even have a professional case management system, which contributes to this ongoing fiasco, but the ADA's would not have the incompetent defense to hide behind, when called out on the endless madness, if they spent $95.00 a month for the programAdam Lally on the stand is every state or city employee, who simply doesn't want to do their job, obstinate, hostile and thick headed. A man had been taking Polaroid pictures of kids at the pool for several weeks. Andy had given his mother one. Andy disappeared and despite thousands searching, he was not found. Two weeks later, a notorious pedophile, Wayne Chapman was arrested in Waterloo, NY. He possessed several children's pictures, similar to the one Andy had given his mom, also a bloody sock, later, identified as being worn by Andy was found in the van. Chapman was convicted of kidnapping and raping of two boys , from the SAME POOL, Andy was taken from, one year prior. This case remains open and unsolved, Andy has never been recovered. Gary flirts with pretty, young girls ply's them with tremendous amounts of alcohol. He then implies to the women, "It is time to pay him back" The story is as old as time. It looks like Attorney Zerola, will be tied up for the next three years or so. In this case a 9mm pistol with glow in the dark sights, a Mossburg pump shot gun, an Ak-47 like rifle. a '"friend" saw his buddy flashing the glock and soon, desired it. He asked to see the popular firearm and committed a massacre of his friends. Complete madness. The jury was attentive and asked several questions of the judge, they were dialed in, really couldn't ask for more.The jurors are taking media interviews and there are some commonalities- Trp. Bukenik came off as arrogant and petulant. The damage to John's arm, simply did not align with a car strike. Hank Brennan's objections were a problem for the jury. Closing arguments were about what you'd expect. Allen Jackson, demolished the state's case from beginning to end. Hank Brennan, did a decent job in humanizing John to the jury, then Hank, proceeded to run from whatever evidence he had managed to produce. He tore into his own witnesses, including the medical examiner, a lot of question marks in his closing, he came across as whiny, hurt and incompetent. Only because that's reality. Jun 9, 202500:46:19Tap to summarizeSend us a textWeek 7-The Prosecution is struggling mightily, no witness to date has provided any overwhelming evidence of Karen Read’s guilt. Boston Patrol Officer Kelly Dever was a complete and utter disaster. She simply appeared to be lying, why is the only question. This witness actually used the words “False Memory” after saying she saw the Chief of police and ATF agent Brian Higgins for a long time, by themselves. What a S-Show! The week did not get any better for the prosecution as the week proceeded. Hank Brennan the “special” prosecutor, apparently grated on the jury, with his cross examination of Dr. Marie Russell, Officer Barros and Lucky Loughlin, Jurors were reported to be openly rolling their eyes at the prosecution, never a good sign. We finished the week with some substantial forensics from Dr. Wolfe and a laughable cross examination by Hank “Squeaky” Brennan. Corruption is on open display, cmon down!
