That’s why Ireland has among the highest obesity rates in Europe and it bodes ill for a rapidly ageing population. Hello-Goodlife was set up by Martina Calvey is building a chain of exercise hubs to improve physical, mental, and social wellbeing. Martina spoke to Joe this morning.

“Cork on a Fork” Fest has been named the number one food festival in Europe by Big 7 Travel. The fifth occasion of this experience is taking place from 12-16th August with more than 150 events for all ages, with over half of events free. Speaking to Susan this morning was Niamh Murphy, the Festival Director.

Many of our female listeners will likely have spotted that there are complimentary products available in bathrooms now in corporates, restaurants and venues. The team at Riley is pursuing a commercial vision where every bathroom has period products, in the same way as toilet paper and have launched a retail presence in the UK.
