Larry shares the exciting news that Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter Valerie Smith is bringing her acoustic band to the Patsy Cline Theater at Handley High School on 8/1 and 8/2 for the 'live' stage debut of her groundbreaking musical narrative, "Maggie's Journal". Maggie is Valerie's great-grandmother and the songs are drawn directly from Maggie's 19th century journal. On May 7th, C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation held a special day of fishing for adults with disabilities at the Winchester-Frederick Conservation Club. Local volunteer Steven Shafron coordinated the event with the Foundation and lined up the sponsors and volunteers that made it possible.
