This would be more of a discovery brand, I think for most of us. It's called Kiko Milano. Okay, now your. You've been hearing all the buzz about this brand, right?

Well, interestingly, I was in Macy's because we're here in New York at the

Yeah. So I think that they launched exclusively at Macy's in North America as a starting point, but they are also available on Amazon in the US and in Canada. So my curiosity about Kiko Milano all started with a headline that came out of business of fashion, Can Mac of Italy make it in America?

And so this was to kick off the launch of Kiko Milano here. And I was just like, wait, they're the Mac of Italy. But then I was scrolling my feed and Madonna, I saw her campaign, it was on her feed, not Kiko Milano's. And I was just like, oh, my gosh, I can't believe they got Madonna as their spokesperson. So this just tells you how huge they are in Europe, how much money they have to spend to get Madonna to be the face of their campaign. And like Cardi B was snapped at the launch in Macy's. So, you know, yeah, obviously they are very, very popular.

They're making a splash.

[Carlene Higgins]

And they're more meant to be known as an accessible beauty line. Like, they're more expensive than say like a Covergirl or a Rimmel or something like that. But they are still kind of meant to be very, very Accessible. So apparently the products that they are the most well known for that have gone viral are their lip products. So this one is called the Unlimited Double Touch liquid lipstick. It's 18 US I'm not sure the conversion in Canada would probably be, well, 40% more than that. So 30% off is what these are. So it'd be 12.60. This is the shade called Sangria. It's available in 24 shade. And if it looks familiar, I mean, I don't know who's who did it first, but it doesn't it remind you of the Revlon certainly.

Actually Mac has a double ended product. Okay.

So it's a, it's for those of you just listening and not watching, it's a double ended, long lasting liquid lip color.

Right.

So on the one end you've got the, the stain, I guess, if you will, the color. And then on the other side you have the top coat. And the purpose of this is so that it's not so drying. And we've talked about this a lot. There's been so many liquid lip products that are meant to be long lasting and you are just like, it's like the Sahara on your lips after you apply it. So the liquid, when you put it on top, like, yes, it gives it a bit of gloss, but actually what it's doing is just making it more comfortable. It is a really comfortable oil as opposed to just like a high kind of Mac lip gloss sort of a feeling. And it does work. It stays on for a long time. Now, I don't know if it stays on what the claim is, 16 hours or whatever, but I wore it yesterday, I thought it lasted quite a long time and actually I got a lot of compliments. And my friend was joking about how they're coming out with the fifth one, the fifth ideation because it's smaller and it's lighter weight there. My friend was calling it the ozempic one because she's like, people just have smaller hands now, so they need smaller, smaller things. But it is a very powerful piece of technology. And again, who. Who wants to pay full price?

Yeah. Well, as long as you can still use the old software. Yes, then we're good. Unlike my Nest thermostat at home, which all of a sudden one day they were like, we are no longer updating your old unit.

You're kidding me.

With the software anymore. You actually have to buy a new unit. And I was like, I feel like this should be a class action lawsuit somehow.

That's fascinating. Yeah.

So that would almost be like if you had a printer. And all of a sudden they were like, we're not going to sell that ink anymore. You got to get a whole new printer. That is not okay.

Is it legal? We don't know that.

I don't know.

It doesn't seem fair. It doesn't seem right. There's nothing wrong with the hardware. Very wasteful people.
