HPE lifts outlook on networking strength and AI backlog growth

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is in focus after forecasting Q2 revenue above Wall Street expectations, raising fiscal 2026 adjusted EPS guidance to $2.30-$2.50, and saying its AI backlog has topped $5 billion. Revenue rose 18% to $9.3 billion, adjusted EPS came in at $0.65 versus expectations of $0.59, and HPE also lifted its networking growth outlook after strong performance from the newly combined Juniper business.

This was more than a routine beat.
