Jeffrey
If flying makes you anxious. In session 418 of the Therapy for Black Girls podcast, Dr. Angela Neal Barnett and I discuss flight Anxiety.
Sienna
What is not normal is to allow.
Jeffrey
It to prevent you from doing the things that you want to do, the.
Finn
Things that you were meant to do.
Jeffrey
Listen to therapy for black Girls on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. You know, Mondays, they suck. But what makes it better is a brand new second date update.
Brooke
Yeah.
Jeffrey
Yeah. I don't know why you thought that was so funny. I love it. Oh, no. How old are you? Hey, it's Brooke and Jeffrey in the morning. Welcome to the podcast. Yeah, and we got a brand new one for that. I think proves. I mean, didn't turn out the way he wanted, but it proves that you can meet anyone anywhere. You never know when you're gonna meet a date. You know, it's wild where they met. And you're gonna hear that in just a second. But first, the comments. Yeah. Cal L. Morales said, love your guys. Podcast definitely makes work in the construction site a lot faster. But the best part is, everyone on the site listened to you guys, and we had no idea until recently. Yes. So now we all love to laugh and talk about the podcast all day.
Brooke
Oh, my God. On the construction site.
Jeffrey
Yeah. It was all in secret before. Yeah. And then only one person was brave enough. Yes. To come out and say they listen.
Brooke
I like that. Brook and Jeffrey.
Jeffrey
Wait, me. Me, too.
Brooke
No way. I love that little giggle construction site.
Jeffrey
Hey, I love it. I love it. All right, your brand new second date starts right now.
Brooke
Second date update. A guy reached out to us saying he lost his date and his job within 24 hours.
Jeffrey
Yikes. That is a tough day. Bad day.
Brooke
And so he needs our help. Specifically, he wants a date with Alexis and a job as our new morning show audio editor. So sorry, editor Ashley, you're out. Found a cheaper replacement here.
Jeffrey
Oh, wait. We're not gonna pay him much.
Brooke
No.
Jeffrey
Yes.
Brooke
I mean, it's the radio.
Jeffrey
Yeah, I see.
Brooke
No, I'm just kidding. But apparently Finn. It's the guy's name. He really has had a bad string of luck lately that affected his romantic and his professional life. So let's talk to him about it. Finn, welcome to the show, man.
Finn
Hey, y'. All. How's it going?
Jeffrey
Oh, you weren't fired because you, like, caught with a. Another coworker, a boss or something, right?
Finn
No. Nothing like this has ever happened to me.
Brooke
Oh, man.
Finn
It's. It. It's ridiculous. Okay, well.
Brooke
Okay, well, we're very sorry to hear about your struggle. So why don't you start at the beginning and tell us the Story of what happened.
Finn
All right, so while I was a server at this dope restaurant and I'm working, the bar runs out of limes, right?
Jeffrey
Yeah.
Finn
And so I have to run across the street to this, like, bodega, whatever.
Jeffrey
Yeah, that happens.
Finn
Sometimes the line is crazy long, and there's only one checkout person that's always.
Brooke
Like, an old person, too, with a.
Jeffrey
Cart full of enough food to feed, like, a family of 10.
Finn
So there's this, like, really attractive woman, and she's at the front, and I tell her the story. I'm like, yo, I need to get back to work. Is there any way I can cut in front of you? I just got some limes. Yeah. And if you come across the street, I'm gonna hook you up to the restaurant.
Brooke
Oh, wow, that's a great trade off.
Jeffrey
Yeah.
Brooke
Was she open to that?
Finn
Absolutely.
Jeffrey
Yeah.
Brooke
Who would you say?
Jeffrey
No. I feel like I win the lottery whenever I get hooked up in a.
Brooke
Bar, but if I was one of the other customers behind them in line, I would have been like, hey, what about me? You're cutting me too? Do I get free food?
Finn
Y Thinking about them beautiful girls.
Jeffrey
They weren't hot, Jeff.
Brooke
I forgot that rule. So she lets you cut in line?
Finn
She did. And I was like, roll through. I will hook you up. And she showed up, like, two days later.
Brooke
Oh, wait, two days later?
Finn
Yeah, it was like two days later.
Brooke
Oh, I thought you were like, yo, come over right now.
Jeffrey
That's what I got, too.
Brooke
Open whenever invite. Okay.
Finn
I would be down if she rolled over right then, but it didn't happen.
Jeffrey
Did you recognize her immediately two days later?
Finn
Yeah. She was smoking, and she sits in, like, the bar area, and I tell the bartender, I'm like, dude, hook her up, like, whatever she wants, however many.
Brooke
Limes she wants inside of her drink. Give her 20 limes. She deserves it.
Finn
Anyway, she's at the bar, and I basically comp her meal, and I tell the bartender, and I'm like, yo, I want to go kick it with her for a second. So, like, cover me because, like, she's leaving, and I want to kind of seal the deal. You feel me?
Brooke
Wow, you're swinging this comp meal, sit situation into a full on date.
Jeffrey
Yeah, but you can't sit down when you're in your work uniform too, Right? Like, you can comp a meal. You can go over to the table and stand up and talk to her. But did you sit down?
Finn
No. That's why I had the bartender cover for me, so I could, like, Walk her out.
Brooke
So this is the girl that we're going to be calling. What's her name?
Finn
Sienna.
Brooke
Okay, Sienna. So you walk her out to, like, buy some more time with her. How does that go?
Finn
Well, this is where it gets a little complicated. I walk her out, and then I was gone a little, maybe too long. Cause, like, walk into a car and then maybe we got a drink. Like.
Brooke
Wait, what?
Finn
Anyway, I thought the bartender was covering for me.
Jeffrey
You went to another bar while you're on shift?
Finn
Well, I was almost done with my shift. Anyway.
Brooke
It was his lunch break.
Jeffrey
Okay?
Brooke
His second lunch break.
Jeffrey
You can't really be calling it ridiculous that you got in trouble for that.
Finn
But, dude, my guy at the bar, I cover him. He covers for me. I don't know.
Brooke
Yeah, I mean, I've worked in bars. Like, usually they do, but if you were gone for, like, an hour or two, bro got his own section.
Jeffrey
And then if a rush comes.
Brooke
Yeah, on his own.
Finn
There was nobody in there when I left, but, like, when I got back, yeah, it was pretty busy.
Jeffrey
Because you get phased out of work.
Brooke
Yeah. You get that?
Jeffrey
Yeah.
Brooke
Okay, so how did you end up losing your job?
Finn
Because of that? They fired me.
Brooke
And you're broke. Just, like, have your back. He snitched on you or what?
Finn
No, he just couldn't, like, come up with a story.
Brooke
Got it. I mean, and it is on you.
Jeffrey
I mean, they're paying you to be on a date. That's kind of. You needed to clock out.
Finn
I wanted to get a date. That's the thing. I wanted it to be a real date.
Brooke
Wait, did you, like, ever kiss her or did you get her number? Like, how did your makeshift date end before you got fired?
Finn
Ended so suddenly. Like, I got her number, and then my restaurant calls me, I have to race back, and then they fire me on the spot.
Brooke
Oh, wow. They couldn't fire you over the phone. They had to do it in person.
Jeffrey
I think that's probably the right way to do it, J.
Brooke
At least you didn't come back with you to watch you lose your job.
Jeffrey
Yeah, right. True, I guess.
Brooke
But your email said that on top of your job, you also lost a date, too. So what happened with Sienna since then?
Finn
I haven't heard from her. Like, I've been texting her. It's been crickets. Like, I have no idea. I mean, I feel like we vibed. Like, it was, like, a really good.
Brooke
Connection or she was just being nice because you offered her a free drink.
Jeffrey
I know.
Brooke
Like, sometimes, honestly, we think girls like Us, and they're just. Just being kind. That was actually more accepting the gift you offered. Yeah, now that you don't have the hookup for a free meal anymore, what good are you to her?
Jeffrey
Like, maybe she had another date after. That was her pre date drink. You know, maybe she's in a relationship, or maybe she's not even interested in any of it.
Brooke
Okay, well, let's hope that she's just in a relationship and that this can still work when we come back. Yeah, Brooks says it's a good thing. Let's try it when we do your second date thing. We'll see what she has to say and get you your second date update right after this.
Finn
All right, thanks, guys.
Brooke
Second date update. He's lost his job, he's lost his date, but he hasn't lost his cell phone because he's on the phone with us. Right?
Jeffrey
That is actually a really good bonus.
Brooke
Have you thought of that? Finn, even if you have absolutely nothing, at least you still have your cell phone. And you should be grateful for that.
Finn
It sounds like a Liam Neeson film. Like how you.
Jeffrey
Liam Neeson's so old, he doesn't know how to use his cell phone.
Brooke
So you should call like Liam Neeson and just be like, I will find you. We will. We will put you on a date. Now, look, I. I know we ran through a lot of scenarios with you, man, that maybe Sienna, the girl that you met, was just in this for the free meal from you. Or maybe she already has a boyfriend. But here's the thing, is that Sienna gave him her phone number at the end of their meetup. And she wouldn't have done that if she wasn't at least a little bit interested in Finn.
Jeffrey
Or she has a hard. Because that's what I do. But then give a fake number.
Finn
It would have been a fake number.
Brooke
Yeah, exactly, Finn. I mean, that must feel a little bit good. Give you a little bit of hope.
Finn
I mean, give me a little hope. I don't know.
Brooke
I don't know. The only hope, I think the hope.
Jeffrey
Is that she looks at this phone call from us as like a grand romantic gesture and she falls instantly in love with you because of the effort that you put in.
Finn
Yeah, I love where your head's at.
Brooke
Let's not over index on the hope. And that she loves everything and falls in love with all of us and then already loves everything.
Jeffrey
Hey, I was on the hope train with you, Jeff. Silver lining it hard.
Brooke
Yeah, it's a little too hard. Okay, pump the brakes on it.
Finn
I'm on Hope Train. I'm on the Hope Train.
Brooke
Okay. Hope Train just has a few stops. It doesn't have an express. Right now. We need a medium level of hope, something manageable for this. I'm just gonna call Sienna. Hopefully she picks up. Medium. Hope that she picks up. Okay, here we go.
Sienna
Hello?
Brooke
Hi, is this Sienna?
Sienna
Yes, this is her.
Brooke
Okay. Hey, Sienna. You're on a radio show right now. We're called Brooke and Jeffrey in the Morning.
Jeffrey
Hey, Sienna.
Brooke
Hey, good morning.
Jeffrey
Thanks for answering your phone.
Sienna
You're welcome. Can I help you with something?
Brooke
This is a segment that we do. It's called a Second Date Update, which is where if you go out with somebody and then that person doesn't call you back, we can help try to figure out what went wrong. And today we're trying to help out a listener of ours. Named Finn.
Sienna
Oh, yeah. Okay. Yeah.
Jeffrey
Well, you remember him. I'm actually surprised. Like, it was a pretty brief meeting that you had with him.
Sienna
Yeah, yeah, it was.
Brooke
Yeah. A brief meeting across several days. He. He. He told us about when you met at the grocery store in line and you let him cut and then you ended up getting a meal at his restaurant.
Sienna
Yeah, that was really nice of him to do.
Jeffrey
I was surprised. You waited two days to go back to the restaurant. So obviously you were think that interaction with him or you ran out of food.
Brooke
Yeah, whatever it was. We're trying to help him figure out what happened because he told us you two went out actually from the restaurant and grabbed a drink somewhere. He had to rush back and he hasn't heard from you since.
Sienna
Yeah, I was really worried about him after he left because he seemed really nervous about all the calls that he was getting from his work.
Brooke
Yeah.
Jeffrey
More than one. Oh, no.
Brooke
Oh, God.
Sienna
Yeah. When he looked at his phone, he saw that he had some missed calls from work, and he finally got on the phone. He just seemed really nervous, and then he had to leave, like, really abruptly. And I didn't hear from him that night. So I ended up going back to his work the next day, like, just to check on him, to pop in and say hi and.
Brooke
Oh, yeah, well, that was sweet of you to go check on.
Jeffrey
How'd that go?
Brooke
Yeah.
Jeffrey
What was that like, working that day?
Brooke
No.
Sienna
So I asked the manager about him, and he just told me that he's no longer with the restaurant and he couldn't elaborate on why for quote unquote, like, professional reasons.
Brooke
Oh, really?
Jeffrey
Oh, wow. He must have found a better job.
Brooke
Yeah.
Sienna
Yeah.
Brooke
Improvement. Okay, well, that doesn't explain why you wouldn't be, like, answering any of his texts or calls. If anything, you probably should have reached out and figured out where he's at. Right?
Jeffrey
I know. I would have called him immediately at the restaurant when I was told that. Right.
Brooke
Yeah.
Sienna
Okay, well, then what happened is the manager asked if I wanted a complimentary drink on the house.
Jeffrey
Oh, no.
Sienna
So I ended up sitting at the bar with the manager.
Jeffrey
Wait, you and the manager sat together at the bar?
Brooke
What?
Finn
Yeah, the manager.
Brooke
Oh, my God.
Jeffrey
So he wasn't. He had an ulterior motive is what you're saying, with his complimentary drink.
Brooke
Okay, managers buy me free drinks at the bar all the time.
Jeffrey
They want something.
Brooke
Okay, yeah. And then we meet up in the bathroom later. What's the big deal?
Sienna
No, he was just being a nice person. And, you know, I. I came in there looking for Finn, and I was worried about him, so he just. He gave me a free drink.
Jeffrey
More girlfriends? Yeah, that's what they always want.
Brooke
Totally.
Jeffrey
Restaurant managers. Totally notorious for being really nice people.
Brooke
Okay, you guys are sounding really skeptical and hateful over there about the restaurant industry, and I don't appreciate it, so I'm sorry to interrupt you there, Sienna. Keep going. You were talking to this sweet, comforting manager who was worried about you and your feelings for Fish.
Jeffrey
Yeah. And wanted nothing else from you.
Brooke
Yeah.
Sienna
Okay. So then he asked if things were serious between me and Finn.
Jeffrey
There it is.
Brooke
Well, yeah, he's worried about you and.
Jeffrey
What did you say?
Brooke
He's gauging.
Sienna
Yeah, well, I told him that we had just met the other day.
Jeffrey
Okay.
Brooke
Okay.
Sienna
And then the manager asked me out on a date.
Jeffrey
Of course he did.
Brooke
We're all shy to continue the consoling process because clearly she needs a lot of therapy. Well, I do need a second drink. Did you do that? Some other time.
Jeffrey
Were you interested in a date with this guy?
Sienna
I mean, obviously not. When I walked in, like, I was looking for Finn, but Finn wasn't there. And I had only gone out with him kind of that one time when he left really suddenly. So, you know, the manager was cute, so I was like, sure.
Brooke
I mean, you're not like.
Jeffrey
Okay. Have you gone on the date already with the manager?
Sienna
Yeah, I've actually seen him a couple times since, and it's doing really well.
Jeffrey
Oh, no, that is insult to injury.
Finn
You are dating the guy that fired me.
Brooke
Hold on there. Yeah, sorry, Sienna, that's Finn. He's been quietly listening on the other line.
Sienna
I couldn't keep quiet, really, until you were Fired?
Finn
He fired me for doing the same thing that he did. Oh, my. Like, I can't even.
Brooke
Okay, Finn, we can tell that you're very upset. Obviously. Just calm down. Just take a breath. I know this is a lot for you to process.
Jeffrey
Ironic that he's fired for going on a date while on the clock. And the manager did this.
Brooke
Hey, you just gotta be the manager.
Finn
Is that irony? That. Is that the definition of irony?
Brooke
No. The manager didn't leave the premises in order to do the date. He own bar. So. Sienna, do you want to talk to Finn here? I know he's been waiting to talk to you, so maybe just speak directly to him.
Sienna
Hi, Finn.
Finn
Hey.
Sienna
First of all, I did not know you were fired. He just said that you weren't there for professional reasons.
Brooke
Because he let him go.
Sienna
Well, yeah, I didn't, so I didn't know you were fired, so I'm so sorry. But two, like, giving free drinks thing, like. Like, he is the manager and he has the authority to do that, and it sounds like you didn't, so, I mean, you probably shouldn't be doing that.
Brooke
Wow.
Sienna
What?
Brooke
She's siding with the manager on this one. Finn. Wow.
Sienna
He's just super nice and. And he takes care of me and, like, I can eat there whenever I want.
Finn
Honestly, Matt is a. You know, I know I'm on radio. I'm not going to swear, but he is not a good guy. He is a piece of. You know. What, like, bamboozled you. He is lying to you. He's not a good person.
Sienna
That's really weird that you would say all of that about him, because he only has nice things to say about you.
Brooke
That guy that I fired is really just a sweetheart.
Jeffrey
I mean, honestly, the manager never outed. Finn is getting fired is a pretty.
Brooke
Yeah. I mean, Finn, your manager was protecting your image to Sienn.
Finn
Sure.
Brooke
Yeah.
Sienna
All I can tell you, Finn is like, he's been super nice. He's been super respectful, and he didn't and hasn't run out in the middle of our date like you did.
Brooke
That is true. You did go running back to your.
Finn
Job and then got fired from him.
Brooke
I know, man. It's a hard lesson to learn. But these are the moments in our lives that we look back on. We're like, you know, I do I choose happiness with a woman or happiness at work? If you really look back, if you would have just stalked the limes, this never would have happened. Yeah.
Jeffrey
Honestly, Finn, you haven't given her a good reason why she'd choose you.
Finn
Over him Because I'm a good guy and he's not.
Sienna
Okay, well, he's employed and you're not.
Jeffrey
Yet.
Brooke
But here's something that Finn does have working for him. We are going to pay for the next date between you and Finn if you agree to see him him one more time.
Jeffrey
And he won't be on the clock, because he doesn't have a clock to be on. Yeah.
Brooke
So you can have brunch, lunch, dinner, dessert, whatever.
Jeffrey
His schedule's open.
Brooke
Yeah. All for you, Sienna. If you say yes.
Sienna
I can already get some free meals, so I think I'm okay.
Brooke
At this point.
Jeffrey
Yeah.
Brooke
Okay, well.
Jeffrey
Sorry.
Brooke
Yeah. Finn.
Finn
Nah, you don't have to apologize. At least I have my pride and I have my dignity.
Jeffrey
Do you?
Finn
And I got a really good plan. I got a really good plan. I got unlimited minutes.
Brooke
Okay.
Jeffrey
Okay.
Brooke
Don't flex too hard, bro.
Jeffrey
Yeah.
Brooke
In your face, Sienna. Brooke and Jeffrey in the morning. My Uncle Chris is definitely somebody worth talking about. He was the kind of guy that lived in a trailer with an ex con and a retired stripper, left loaded machine guns laying around, drank a bottle of whiskey a night, claimed he could kill a man with his bare hands, drove a garbage truck for a living, spoke fluent Spanish with a thick Southern accent, and is currently buried in a crypt alongside the founding families of Panama. Listen to the Uncle Chris podcast to hear all about him. And a whole lot more. Wild stories about adventure, romance, crime, history and war intertwine as I share the tall tales and hard truths that have helped me understand Uncle Chris. This collection of stories will make you laugh. It'll make you cry. And if I do my job right, they'll let you see the world and your place in it in a whole new way. I can't wait to tell you all about Uncle Chris. Listen now to Uncle Chris on Will Ferrell's Big Money Players Network, on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you listen to podcasts.

Harnett, jailhouse lawyer. And as she fought for herself, she also became a lifeline for the women locked up alongside her. You're supposed to have your faith in.
Brooke
God, but I had nothing but faith in her.
Jeffrey
So many of these women had lived the same stories. I said, were you a victim of domestic violence? And she was like, yeah, but maybe Kelly could change the Ending, I said, how many people have gotten other incarcerated individuals out of here? I'm gonna be the first one to do that. This is the story of Kelly Harnett, a woman who spent 12 years fighting not just for her own freedom, but her girlfriend's too.

Jeffrey
Yeah, but even worse, the manager took the date.
Brooke
Yeah.
Jeffrey
Yeah.
Brooke
But, hey, we did get him some closure.
Jeffrey
How?
Brooke
Very much so. So that he knew what happened with Sienna. And that is all thanks to us. We did that.
Jeffrey
I think he would have been less bitter if he had not known the answer.
Brooke
But knowledge is power, and we gave him that knowledge. So let's congratulate ourselves. And I'd like to go around the room and offer all of us a lunch date with each other. And the station will pay for it. What do you say, Brooke? Are you in?
Jeffrey
Well, if the station's paid, I'm always. I mean, yeah.
Brooke
Jose. Alexis.
Jeffrey
Yep.
Brooke
Awesome. All right, I've got plans already, so it's a no for me. But you three enjoy that sizzler.

Episode Release Date: July 28, 2025
Host: Brooke and Jeffrey
Podcast: iHeartPodcasts – Brooke and Jeffrey: Second Date Update
In this episode titled "Second Date Update: Can I Cut In Lime?", hosts Brooke and Jeffrey delve into the misadventures of a listener named Finn, whose attempts to secure a second date have backfired, resulting in both his romantic and professional setbacks. The episode promises a blend of high-stakes romance and workplace drama, all wrapped in the hosts' signature humor and insightful commentary.
Finn reaches out to Brooke and Jeffrey explaining his unfortunate series of events. As a server at a trendy restaurant, Finn found himself in a predicament when the bar ran out of limes—a staple for his job. Desperate to serve his customers, Finn decided to cut in line at a nearby bodega to procure more limes.
Finn [04:51]: "All right, so while I was a server at this dope restaurant and I'm working, the bar runs out of limes, right?"
In his attempt to expedite his mission, Finn encountered an attractive woman, Sienna, at the bodega. Seizing the opportunity, he proposed a trade: allow him to cut in line in exchange for hooking her up with limes for her restaurant.
Finn [05:16]: "So there's this, like, really attractive woman, and she's at the front, and I tell her the story. I'm like, yo, I need to get back to work. Is there any way I can cut in front of you? I just got some limes."
Sienna agreed to Finn's proposition, granting him the privilege to bypass the long queue. Finn's immediate relief was palpable, believing he had facilitated a mutually beneficial arrangement.
Two days later, Finn expected Sienna to visit the restaurant as part of their agreement. However, instead of the anticipated meet-up, Finn was abruptly fired from his job.
Finn [06:09]: "She showed up, like two days later."
Upon returning to his workplace after securing Sienna's contact information, Finn discovered he had been terminated.
Finn [08:17]: "Because of that? They fired me."
The sudden loss of his job coincided with Sienna's disappearance, leaving Finn perplexed and seeking answers.
Brooke and Jeffrey take the conversation forward by involving Sienna directly in the discussion, attempting to unravel the mystery behind Finn's double loss.
Brooke [12:00]: "This is a segment that we do. It's called a Second Date Update, which is where if you go out with somebody and then that person doesn't call you back, we can help try to figure out what went wrong."
During the call, Sienna reveals that after Finn abruptly left to attend to work issues, she returned to the restaurant to check on his well-being. The manager, Matt, informed her of Finn's termination but remained vague about the reasons.
Sienna [14:11]: "So I asked the manager about him, and he just told me that he's no longer with the restaurant and he couldn't elaborate on why for quote unquote, like, professional reasons."
However, the conversation takes an unexpected turn when Sienna discloses that she and Matt have begun dating, unbeknownst to Finn.
Sienna [16:15]: "Yeah, I've actually seen him a couple times since, and it's doing really well."
Finn, listening in on the call, is taken aback by this revelation, realizing that his former manager has moved on romantically with his date.
Finn [16:26]: "You are dating the guy that fired me."
Brooke and Jeffrey dissect the situation, highlighting key missteps Finn made. They emphasize the importance of balancing professional responsibilities with personal endeavors, suggesting that Finn's eagerness to impress Sienna led him to neglect his job duties, culminating in his dismissal.
Brooke [19:00]: "I know, man. It's a hard lesson to learn. But these are the moments in our lives that we look back on. We're like, you know, I do I choose happiness with a woman or happiness at work?"
They also touch upon the complexities of interpersonal relationships in professional settings, advising Finn to approach future romantic interests with a clearer boundary between work and personal life.
In an effort to provide Finn with another opportunity, Brooke and Jeffrey propose arranging a second date with Sienna, free of the complications that previously arose.
Brooke [19:23]: "We are going to pay for the next date between you and Finn if you agree to see him one more time."
However, Sienna remains non-committal, citing satisfaction with her current arrangement where she enjoys complimentary meals without additional romantic ties.
Sienna [19:53]: "I can already get some free meals, so I think I'm okay."
Finn, though disheartened, maintains his resolve to move forward, reflecting on the lessons learned from this tumultuous experience.
Finn [20:04]: "Nah, you don't have to apologize. At least I have my pride and I have my dignity."
The episode wraps up with Brooke and Jeffrey encouraging Finn to take his experience as a learning opportunity. They highlight the significance of clear communication and the necessity of maintaining professionalism, even in pursuit of personal connections.
Jeffrey [22:43]: "Yeah."
Brooke [22:44]: "But, hey, we did get him some closure."
They commend themselves for providing Finn with the answers he sought, asserting that knowledge, even if unpleasant, is empowering.
Brooke [22:54]: "But knowledge is power, and we gave him that knowledge. So let's congratulate ourselves."
The hosts conclude by lightheartedly suggesting that all involved parties treat themselves to a meal, underscoring the podcast's blend of humor and heartfelt advice.
