Second date update. Whenever you're watching one of those hospital shows on tv like ER or Her House or Grey's Anatomy.

[Jose]

Yeah.

[Brooke]

The doctors and nurses are always hooking up.

[Noah]

Yeah.

[Jose]

I don't know. My best friend worked in a hospital for a long time. I think it's real. I think the horse.

[Brooke]

Yeah, because everyone who works there is attractive.

[Jeffrey]

Yeah.

[Brooke]

The lighting's always dim. And is there anything sexier than changing a soiled bed sheet in front of your coworker? I'm looking at Brooke right now, and her shirt almost flew off when I said soiled bed sheet.

[Jose]

It's true. Yeah.

[Brooke]

So I was not surprised in the least when one of our listeners reached out saying he met his date when he was at the hospital.

[Jose]

Ooh. Hey.

[Brooke]

So let's get the story from Noah. Noah, what's up, man?

[Noah]

Hey, guys. How's it going?

[Jose]

Please don't tell me it was an unconscious patient.

[Noah]

Oh, my gosh.

[Brooke]

Why did your head go to that?

[Jose]

I don't know. I just, like, I met her. She was in a coma. She looks so peaceful.

[Jeffrey]

Kissing random asleep people in hospitals.

[Noah]

You guys are onto something, right? During a coma, you're always a 10, I guess, huh?

[Brooke]

She didn't say no.

[Jose]

Do you work at the hospital? Is that the story?

[Noah]

My grandma got a little bit sick and, like, nothing huge, but she was in the hospital for a couple of days. And so I was in there with her most of the time for those few days, just visiting pretty frequently and stuff. And one of the nurses named Holly was taking care of my grandma, and we just kind of started hit it off.

[Brooke]

Holly the nurse.

[Jose]

And I bet grandma is excited, right? Because Grandma totally.

[Noah]

The last day that my grandma was there, we knew they were going to discharge her in the afternoon. And I just kind of gave her a cheesy line like, my granny, before she dies, said she wants to make sure that her grandson goes out on a date with you.

[Jeffrey]

I like it.

[Noah]

Yeah, I got grandma in on it. You know, she gave her a little thumbs up, little wink.

[Brooke]

And then you unplugged the EKG machine just at that moment.

[Jose]

Wait, what?

[Noah]

That'd be terrible. Yeah.

[Brooke]

Did it work? That's the question.

[Noah]

Yeah, it did work, actually. She, like, laughed and just thought it was kind of corny and cheesy, like it's supposed to be, you know, and. And was like, yeah, I'd love to. Let's go out.

[Jose]

Oh, that's so cute. I bet it was exciting for her, too, because I'm like, you know, you're typically just dealing with sick people all day, not like hot grandsons. True. So that's exciting.

[Noah]

Yeah, I mean, I'd like to think so.

[Brooke]

All right, you got the date. So where do you go?

[Noah]

Yeah, so you know what? I just decided to keep it real simple and easy and just go to the beach. You know, I packed a little thermos with a little cocktail in there and kind of went and put our toes in the sand and just hung out and got to know each other and talked and laughed and stuff for a couple hours.

Oh, a couple hours. So it was like, you're wearing swimsuits at the beach type of situation, or was it.

[Noah]

I mean, not swimsuits, but just casual. Yeah, just.

[Jose]

Okay.

[Jeffrey]

You weren't, like, splashing around, but you were just vibing, having some drinks?

[Noah]

Yeah, yeah, for sure. Like, I wasn't trying to get her in a bikini on the first date or anything, you know. You know, be respectful and stuff.

[Jeffrey]

So were you in your bikini, though?

[Noah]

Yeah, I was. Oh, I was in my man song for sure.

[Jose]

That a boy. That a boy.

[Noah]

I got to give ladies what they want.

[Jose]

Yeah, you know it, Noah. That's actually a really cute date.

[Brooke]

I think it sounded actually kind of fun.

[Noah]

Yeah.

[Jeffrey]

Not a lot of pressure.

[Noah]

Yeah. Well, with what happened next, I guess I'm glad I was wearing shorts and not a man thong, because we noticed there was a little building right down the beach from us.

[Jose]

What do you mean a building? Like a boathouse or something? Or a lifeguard structure, maybe.

[Noah]

Like, almost like a little community center building.

[Brooke]

Like an event space.

[Noah]

Yeah, there you go. An event space. Yeah, exactly. And so we can hear music. And there was, you know, just a couple of balloons, and it said, like, reception for the. You know, you just told it was a wedding, right? Like, wedding reception thing going on, you know? Yeah. And I kind of was like, maybe just go to a little wedding crash. That might be kind of fun.

[Jose]

Oh, shut up. You guys crashed a beach wedding in your beach outfit?

[Jeffrey]

Amazing.

[Noah]

Yeah, we actually bundled in really well because everybody else was in beach attire, too, so we just slipped right in.

[Jose]

That's pretty fun.

Did you guys.

Did you guys get a chance to, like, dance and well, so weren't brave.

[Noah]

Enough to dance, but I noticed there was a little photo booth, and I was like, hey, let's go snap a couple pictures. Commemorate the fun. Kind of, you know, we went to the photo booth, and it's a couple at a time. They do, like, four or whatever, you know?

[Jose]

Yeah.

[Noah]

So the first two photos were regular, and then on the third one, I decided to take a little bit of a chance and leaned over and kissed her on the cheek.

[Brooke]

That's a classic move.

[Jeffrey]

You're playing everything right so far. Like, I think it's spontaneous.

[Jose]

It's flirty.

[Noah]

Chill.

[Jeffrey]

It's flirty. I love it. I want to go on a date with you.

[Noah]

Hopefully we're able to figure this out. But if not, you and I can go, then.

[Jeffrey]

Did she respond well to the. To the kiss?

Well, so I gave her I kiss on the cheek. And then for the fourth photo, I just go, your turn. And kind of put my cheek out, turn my head right.

And then she didn't kiss my cheek at all.

[Brooke]

Oh, she left you hanging.

[Jose]

Maybe she didn't understand because it goes pretty quick between those photos. Like, maybe it was too much for her to register that quickly. I feel that you're calling his date.

[Brooke]

Dumb is what you're saying.

[Jose]

I'm just like, oh, my God, he just kissed me. Wait, what are you asking me to do? And then, bam, photo, you know, like, yeah, yeah, I get it.

[Brooke]

I think if you point at your cheek after you kiss someone and go, your turn, they would hopefully understand what.

[Jose]

You mean by that.

[Jeffrey]

Let me solve this puzzle.

[Jose]

I'm sorry. You're a genius using the photo booth. Not everybody is. I mean, that could be the case. Did you take it as she didn't want to touch you or that she was just overwhelmed?

[Noah]

Well, because I just kind of joked, I'm finished, or whatever. I was like, you left me hanging. You know, joking or whatever. She didn't really laugh either. And then the photos stood out, and I looked, and she had a really weird look on her face, like, for that fourth one there.

[Jeffrey]

So maybe she didn't want the cheat kiss, huh?

[Jose]

Maybe your cheek kiss was bad in some way.

[Noah]

Too much tongue. It was enough of a look where I had to, like, double check and make sure I wasn't moving the camera or something. Like, it was just. I don't know. I seemed like maybe I offended her and made it a little weird, but I joked my way, kind of out of it, kind of kept it light, and so the date Ended, actually.

[Jose]

Okay, you just cut that fourth photo off of the strip because that was bad.

[Noah]

So she just ghosted me completely. And I just want to know, like, what's up?

[Jose]

Did you try to kiss her again at the end of the day?

[Noah]

No. No, not at all.

[Jose]

[Jeffrey]

So at least you picked up the cue.

Ok, okay. We're about to give her a call, but first I think maybe you should reach out to your grandma and tell her you may need to get sick again. Just in case we need to do an in person visit. I think we were all impressed with Noah and his first date.

Oh, yeah.

Even a little bit jealous, honestly.

Because the only one of us who's ever crashed a wedding before is Alexis Texas. And that was with her car. Didn't turn out quite as fun.

Noah and Holly snuck into a wedding that was happening on the beach where they were at, and they weren't there long. They just stole some cookies and took a photo in the photo booth. And that's where Noah also took a little bit of a risk with a rogue kiss cheek on the third photo.

Yeah, which, I mean, I don't think that's crossing any lines. It's just a cheat. Yeah, I was about to tell you the same thing.

Yeah, cheek kiss is different. Like, we cheat kiss all the time, Jeff.

Yeah, we heard about your date. It sounded super fun, like the beach and the.

Yeah, yeah, he told us about the whole experience, and on our end it all sounded pretty fun and pretty innocent. We want to get what your side of the story was. Did you have a good time with him?

Well, yeah, I did, but I did kind of get a little mixed vibes from him.

Yeah. I don't know if he told you, but we crashed the wedding together.

Well, I thought it was exciting, it was fun. And we ended up going to a photo booth.

No, not really. So what happened was I did keep the photo booth picture.

I do kind of like him, but I'm also not really sure. Like I said, I kept the picture, and I have an aunt who's a psychic.

Yeah, she's a psychic.

Yeah, it's still. It's still inside him. We. We are who we were in our past life. And I think it. I think it explains a lot. It explains the dangerous side. And, like, you know, he was like, let's go crash a wedding and stuff.
