Bubba
On the lake hello friends, neighbors and associates everywhere. I'm your semi retired, mostly washed up host, formerly the Rick and Bubba show. And we want to welcome you to Bubba on the Lake, AKA the people's Podcast. Broadcasting from the Melayella Studio. Our website is Bubba on the Lake dot com and of course we have the that is always entertaining 308. Big Lake. Let your voice be heard, folks. Welcome back to a new edition of Bub on the Lake. It is podcast number 57 and we are scheduled to have Dr. Travis Taylor. Most of you know him probably best from the secrets of Skinwalker Ranch. He has. He's. He's all over the History Channel, ancient aliens, a whole bunch of other things. And he also was on the government secret UAP Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon program. I prefer the old ufo. I didn't like when they tried to change that unidentified Flying object. I may just stick with UFO because it's easier to say. But anyway, Dr. Travis Taylor supposed to be with us. He's very busy. We hope he's gonna be able to make it. He usually does when he says he will. But you know, it's. It's craz out here right now. Before we, we get into everything going on, let me handle some old business here first. We were very honored to be asked to be on Right side Radio with Amy, Beth and Allison. They do such a wonderful job on Right side and we, we put links up. I hope you got a chance to see it. I had a lot of fun with them. They do a great job and I appreciate them asking me to be on the program. They had asked a. And we had not been able to line it up and things came open and we were able to do that and my daughter Caitlin is actually going to be working with him some so we're looking forward to seeing how that plays out in the future. I'd want to mention also because we've had a couple of rain outs but Friday on the Green is back here at Russell Crossroads. If you're in the Lake Martin Alexander city area, this is a really fun event. They have bring your own lawn chair, you come, you sit and they have all kind of different musical acts that come out. It's really great. They call it Friday on the Green and if you want an updated list of who is performing when you need to go to the Russelllands.com website or you can go to their app. They have a great app by the way. Great app. You can find out everything that's going on. So Friday on the Green is family friendly. You know there'll be games, they'll restock the bags for the dog way station. They do ask that you put your puppy on the list leash. There's great food nearby, Catherine's Market, spring house fannies and many times they'll have food trucks out there also. So it's always a big event. All of our neighbors here love Friday on the Green they call it and it doesn't even matter who's playing, they like everybody. And I couldn't agree more. It's a, it's a real fun get together and one of the advantages of having Russell Lance here and living on the lake at Lake Martin. So you know we, I want to mention again we have the title Bubba on the Lake but it doesn't necessarily mean it is all about the lake all the time. I know coming out of that live commercial telling you about that it would seem that way but it's more of an umbrella. And you know I've, I've said many times being on the lake is more of a state of mind than it is a geographical location. And I hold true to that. I tell you, I don't know what it is. I grew up with a dad who fought World War II. He was always on time. You were 15 minutes early if you were on time. If you were on time, you were late. You got there, you got prepared to do whatever you were going to do at this time the event started. So my whole life I was on that time. And then when you go into the media, which I've been in my whole life since high school, radio or tv, you know, we live by the clock. We live in 30 second increments, literally around the clock. So my whole life has been tied to not kinda on the right time, but exactly on the right time. I mean, to the second sometimes. And it's, it's just a strange thing now at the lake because so many people here, it's kind of laid back, you know, I mean, we got neighbors that fly planes and I mean they're still on, you know, very tedious schedules. But it's, when you get to the lake, it's like everything kind of gets kind of vague, you know, it's like we're going to meet at 5. Okay, 5. Well, that may be 10 till 5, it may be 520, you know, and that kind of drives me crazy, but. And It'll stretch to 5:30 sometimes. It's just, I don't know what it is about water. I've noticed people that live at the beach do this too. I don't know how the water affects your, your, your timing. I don't, I just, I don't get it. I, I guess everybody just gets so relaxed. They don't give a rip. That's all I can figure. So. And that's all right too. That's okay too. So President Trump is in China. He's making a three day run there to meet with President Z. And they, they've got, he's got quite a little list. He wants to talk to him about the Iranian war, he's wanting to talk to them about Taiwan, he's wanting to talk to them about AI and a whole lot of other things. So trust me, I know, I, you know, I know that some complaints of our president could be considered legitimate at times. I think some people don't get to humor in what he does and how he does it. But I think that he is a great negotiator. I think he's about three steps ahead. I think he's straight up and I'm glad he's negotiating on our behalf. I hope they can get what they need and get it so it's enforceable and good for everybody. So Trump in China will keep you updated on that. Also, I don't want to take up much time because when we get Dr. Travis Taylor in here, we're going to want to really focus on him. And the release of these UFO files last week. Very strange for the government to just come up and do this. Of course, I know it had been promised for a while, but it's some very, very strange footage. If you have not seen these. And we'll try to talk to that in just A Minute with Dr. Travis Taylor. You're listening to Bubba on the Lake.

You know one thing I love about Buffalo Wild Wings, you can get wings with any of their 26 sauces and dry rubs for takeout and delivery. That's like bringing an entire B dubs home with you, which you can't do. I tried. I've knocked down so many walls only to then be told to halt construction because I'm not zoned to be a sports bar. Kind of just looks like a big pergola or something. Because of the lack of walls, at least these 26 sauces and dry rubs are available to go. Buffalo Wild Wings, let's go.
Bubba
Sp. Well, we have him. He's in high demand, folks, if you can drag him out of the desert. Dr. Travis Taylor. Travis, how are you, sir?
Dr. Travis Taylor
I'm all right, bubba. How you doing today?
Bubba
Well, I'm good. I guess the question is how are you doing? Because, you know, out on Skinwalker Ranch, you know, health doesn't always run with everybody. How are, how are you doing?
Dr. Travis Taylor
Yeah, well, I can tell you I'm doing just great. I'm healthy as I usually am, I guess not getting any younger, but you know, we're still, still plugging away at it. And I'll tell you that we, we just got done with another 14 experiments. They're gonna start airing, I think Tuesday night next week. I'm not sure what time. Probably eight or nine.
Bubba
And what season is that?
Dr. Travis Taylor
It'll be season seven.
Bubba
Seven.
Dr. Travis Taylor
Okay, so we finished. We'll go research.
Bubba
Oh, it's incredible. We'll go back and I want to pick up and talk about Skinwalker. We got to cover that. But I wanted to get with you because the government somewhat, surprise move last week started dumping all these UFO videos on us. And, and I. I saw some of the videos. I didn't see. Did they explain where they were or. I know they redacted part of some of them so you couldn't tell the exact location. But do we know what we were looking at? Because it was some strange stuff.
Dr. Travis Taylor
If you go to the President's website, you'll see that there is a description for each of the videos that was kind of like the description that we gave with them when we. When I was there at the UAP task force. There's they. They do this thing in the military called basic look up front or bluff. And so you'll have about four or five bullets for anything you try to send to a general or above.
Bubba
Right.
Dr. Travis Taylor
You know, it has that and it kind of says somewhere in the world, right? It says sometime in the world and date and then object found by so and so sensor and possibility. It is a blank.
Bubba
Right.
Dr. Travis Taylor
And so there's. There's that much of a description, I think on some of those. I hadn't gone through all of them yet, but a lot of them were familiar to me, I had seen before. And of course we weren't allowed to, you know, release it and. Or anything until it went through this recent thing with Secretary Hegseth releasing everything the Pentagon had and. Look, Bubba, this isn't the.
Bubba
Oh, there's the government calling you right there.
Dr. Travis Taylor
You're telling too much, Travis.
Bubba
Too much.
Dr. Travis Taylor
Let me silence that thing. So this is the first of many, is the way I understand it. My friend and colleague and leader, the director of the uap, ATF and the ATF and all SAP all at Jay Stratton, he's. He's informed me that, you know, that there is more coming, a lot more. Whether or not there's aliens in it, you know, I can't say. I don't know.
Bubba
Right.
Dr. Travis Taylor
But what I do know is the videos and things that we have seen are things that really need a better explanation.
Bubba
Well, I thought most of them I saw were what we would call an orb or just something white, you know, in the. In the scene moving around and a lot of times moving at angles that normal aircraft couldn't move and at speeds that normal aircraft couldn't do. And if humans were involved on board that they would not survive the G force of a Turn like that. I mean, there's a point where your brain just compresses in your skull, right. And you can't. You can't survive that kind of G force.
Dr. Travis Taylor
Yeah. One of the, one of the most compelling to me, bubba, was there's one from Apollo 17 excursion module.
Bubba
Yeah.
Dr. Travis Taylor
An exterior camera. Now, as far as government's concerned, I'm the first person that found that. About 11, 12, even 13 years ago now, I was doing a study on lunar meteor craters and was going through all the Apollo archives looking for photos of meteor craters up close. So I was trying to determine how smooth they were in the bottom, and I found this. I was just randomly getting canisters of film from the Apollo 17 well from all the Apollo missions that had recently been digitized. And I found this one, one picture by, you know, just accident because I was looking for UFOs. And this is actually even before I was doing the UFO program. And. And there were these three dots in there. So we went. I took it to NASA and making sure there wasn't holes in the film or there wasn't. And I even went to the lunar excursion module exerciser that still exists here at the space museum to make sure there wasn't any lights on it or anything.
Bubba
Right.
Dr. Travis Taylor
And NASA's technicians, to me, said that the only possibility that they could think of was there was something wrong with the camera, but if it was, it would have been in many other photos in that reel.
Bubba
Right. And.
Dr. Travis Taylor
And the only other explanation was somebody said, well, it's probably just three meteorites in perfect formation. And I was like, yeah, that sounds. That sounds really plausible, too.
Bubba
Well, that's what I was going to ask you. It seemed like there was a large number of them from the Apollo missions. And I thought that was kind of strange because we'd really not heard a lot about that in the past. I hadn't.
Dr. Travis Taylor
Well, so I can tell you, right before COVID hit, we had authority from Congress to bring in every NASA astronaut and debrief them. Everyone that was alive. And we were ready to. Buzz, was ready to come talk to us. We had talked to Edgar Mitchell. This was before he died, right. And then. And then a bunch of shuttle astronauts. And what happened was Covid hit and everybody got afraid to travel, and travel got shut down. And we never get to do that particular set of interviews. Now, we've since briefed NASA, in fact, brief NASA in 25, that they needed to go through their archives with AI and look for things they don't know that might be there. And they need to interview all their astronauts. And the way I understand, I said I'm not part of Arrow. And, I mean, I talk with them because, you know, I'm retired from the government. If they want me to help them, I'll be happy to. And I do. Whenever they call, I answer the phone.
Bubba
Sure, sure.
Dr. Travis Taylor
But my current understanding is that they do plan to go through interviews with the astronauts and see if they have anything to say, because a lot of them say they saw stuff.
Bubba
Yeah, we didn't get a real good reporting of that at the time. But, you know, the only other thing I can think of, Travis, is maybe a part of the lunar module or the command module during the docking or the undocking or, you know, something. Some piece of metal flew off something, and you're seeing that tumble through the atmosphere. But that's kind of a stretch. But really, that's all there could be, right?
Dr. Travis Taylor
Well, there's no atmosphere on the moon, Bubba. So whatever this was was in orbit, flying above, well, around the moon.
Bubba
That's what I meant. Just through the thin atmosphere that it has.
Dr. Travis Taylor
So it would be. It would have to be big because you keep in mind they were there during the daytime. It's one of the funniest things that the lunar mission deniers, the moon mission deniers don't understand. They also. Well, there's no stars in any of the pictures. I always say, well, go outside during the daytime and tell me how many dang stars you see.
Bubba
Right, right.
Dr. Travis Taylor
They were on the moon during middle of the day.
Bubba
Right. And so don't get me started on these. On these. We didn't land on the moon, guys. That, and the flat Earthers. I'm sorry. I just can't take it anymore. I really can't.
Dr. Travis Taylor
Yeah, I'm with you on that, too, man. Whatever it was was either really bright from light being hot or lights being transmitted, or it was really big and really shiny for it to be able to be seen in the daylight from the surface of the moon with that camera. So garbage or a meteor or three meteors don't really add up. And also, it made out a perfect isosceles triangle.
Bubba
Right.
Dr. Travis Taylor
And.
Bubba
And the.
Dr. Travis Taylor
And the lights were at each apex, perfectly at the apex.
Bubba
And.
Dr. Travis Taylor
And then when I did AI analysis and ran algorithms on the. On the footage or the. The film actually was footage back then, because the film. But on the.
Bubba
On the.
Dr. Travis Taylor
On the. On the image, it says it wasn't doctored. It didn't appear to be damaged, and an algorithm actually found another one in the noise. It found two others actually in the same photo. But the second one was a 70% confidence that it was an object. And the third one was so much in the noise, like 20% confidence that was an object. So were there more than one of them flying about and they just happened to get caught in that picture? I don't know. And I'm not saying that it is a black triangle ufo. I'm not saying it isn't meteorite, and I'm not saying it's not holes in the film. What I'm saying right now, I don't think that film exists anymore. So we could never go back and test that particular hypothesis. So that's an easy one for debunkers say, oh, it was just holes in the film because we can never go test it. Only thing we have are the digitized artifacts.
Bubba
Travis, when you see something like that or you make a discovery at Skinwalker, does the hair on the back of your neck and the skin pile up like it does all of us watching? I gotta know.
Dr. Travis Taylor
Well, I get excited. I do get excited. Cause, you know, as many weird things as we found at Skinwalker Ranch, weird things I saw on the uaptf, I still haven't found the smoking gun, the empty cases and the Right. I still haven't found that. And every time that happens, I'm thinking, oh, this is gonna be it. This is the one, right? Now, I found so many of one of the other over and over again, right? Flying objects in videos where they shouldn't be, or strange artifacts or signals from in some or multiple sensors. They shouldn't be there and things like that. But I've never picked up and held in my hand or seen with my own two eyes what I would say is definitive proof that it's an alien being or a UFO that lands and they come out and say, take me to your leader. That's happened.
Bubba
Well, you know, there's always next season, you know, I mean, you never know. But I want to go back to this. The video released, several were orbs. You know, we had military cameras watching an enemy target. And. And all of a sudden you see this just this white lot go through. And then a lot of times they tried to focus in on it. And sometimes it had strange shape, sometimes it didn't. But let me. Let's play the what if game, okay? What could that be, Travis? Tell me what could on that video, what could this or be? And you guys have had them at Skinwalker Ranch too. They come out of nowhere. They. You see them they disappear into nowhere. What is. Give me abcd. What could it be?
Dr. Travis Taylor
Well, let's talk about the physics of the sensor first. The reason they always look like spheres or orbs is that if they're right at the edge of the resolution of the camera.
Bubba
Right.
Dr. Travis Taylor
Because they're so small and so far away.
Bubba
Right.
Dr. Travis Taylor
The encoding software of the cameras always draws them as a sphere. Right, okay.
Bubba
Or alien. Yeah.
Dr. Travis Taylor
If you're right at the edge of pixel resolution in the video, then you don't know if it's really a sphere or not. It may be a different shape, and that's ones you got to be really careful about. All you can say is something strange and shiny flew through the video.
Bubba
Right.
Dr. Travis Taylor
But the ones that have extended geometry to them or bigger than a couple of pixels, you know, then that, that is its geometry, unless there's something wrong with the camera. And so, for example, the Mosul orb.
Bubba
Right.
Dr. Travis Taylor
That one was plenty big enough that it was a sphere. Right. And the one that they released is the big shiny line that goes across under the sensor. That one looks to have some extent to it. It may be several meters long. And it actually looks a lot like the thing that flew under the helicopter out.
Bubba
Yes, it does. So what could that be, Travis? Let's just play with physics. We know, what could that be?
Dr. Travis Taylor
Well, it's unlikely to be just a standard drone, you know, like a hexacopter or quadcopter or, you know, whatever those are. It's got multiple little propellers around it because their flight dynamics are a lot different.
Bubba
Right.
Dr. Travis Taylor
If it's a drone, it would be more like something in a rocket body shape where the wings are not shiny and not hot because we only see the tube.
Bubba
Right, right.
Dr. Travis Taylor
But it makes it's flying very stable and very quickly. And it's not flying in a rocket's flying a different kind of trajectory. Drones buffet with aerodynamics. We can see it moving like that. These things seem to be flying with some other means of, of propulsion or at least guidance and control that, you know, maybe somebody has come up with something new, Bubba. But I've never seen aerodynamics in an air, in a normal modern vehicle operate like a lot of these do, especially the ones that make sharp 90 degree turns. I mean, so we don't have anything that does that.
Bubba
It could be a remote control vehicle, it could be of somebody, some type. Right.
Dr. Travis Taylor
In some of them. In some of them, I, until I know, I wouldn't rule that out. I mean, they would be state of the art remote control vehicles.
Bubba
I know, I mean, but the only other option is that there's a little bit, little bitty people in there flying them around. And I just. That's too far down the list.
Dr. Travis Taylor
So, you know, first you've, you've seen Doctor who.
Bubba
Yes.
Dr. Travis Taylor
And you understand that the TARDIS is bigger on the inside.
Bubba
Right.
Dr. Travis Taylor
Well, so there was a paper written in about 1999, 2001, were in that time frame by a guy named Chris Vandenbreck. And he showed that you could take the Alcubierre warp idea that Alcubierre came up with in 1994, but you could use multiple warp bubbles and the interior warp bubble, you could make the inside much larger than the outside.
Bubba
Okay, I got you.
Dr. Travis Taylor
And that way you would reduce the size of the spacecraft needed. And it's really interesting because some of the whistleblowers make claims like that, that they stepped into a UFO that was like 30ft across, and when they got inside it, they got vertigo and nauseous and then they were inside something as big as a football stadium.
Bubba
Yeah. So, right, so let me, let me put this back on 8th grade level for me. Okay. You're saying that just like we have the theory of warping the space time continuum to go faster than the speed of light, the warp drives that we learned about in Star Trek that now actually have some validity to them, we could use that same technology to display size. We could take a giant spaceship on the inside, but to the outside, almost cloak it to the point that it looks like it's tiny.
Dr. Travis Taylor
Yes. That is within the realms of Einstein's theory of general relativity. And that's been published in many papers since about 2000. So now I'm not saying that's what these things are.
Bubba
We're just talking about possibilities.
Dr. Travis Taylor
Yeah. Now the, the most obvious possibility is, you know, we sent a bunch of robots to the moon for. We sent people, we sent a bunch of robots to Mars and other planets and stuff. And, you know, it makes sense. And especially think about if you're from a race that's so far advanced that your AI is basically conscious, Right. You could send an AI and a little bitty drone that could do all the, you know, science and exploration for you in a much safer process. So, I mean, it could be like you said, a drone, a robot, or it could be something even more exotic like we talked about, like the tardis.
Bubba
So if even if you had a. You could be in space time, you could warp it to change the size of something. We still are talking about the Same dimension. What's the possibility of these being some kind of interdimensional travelers and we're just catching them when they slam the brakes on coming into our dimension? Is that possible?
Dr. Travis Taylor
Well, any of it's possible. I mean, we. We don't know what they are. We don't know if they come from, you know, Zeta Reticuli or, you know, Alpha Centauri or. We don't know if they come from no universe. 713 or whatever.
Bubba
Shout out to Barney and Betty. By the way, I caught that with a star chart. I got it. So.
Dr. Travis Taylor
So, yeah, well, then that's become the lore ever since then, that they. That the grays come from Zeta Reticuli.
Bubba
Right.
Dr. Travis Taylor
You know, that's what everybody believes, but. Yeah, so I'm not saying I. I know what they are with it. I tell you what some people think, and I'll tell you what some ancient text suggests.
Bubba
Okay?
Dr. Travis Taylor
Go back and reread the Mahabharata, the Bhagavad Gita. You read.
Bubba
I can't even say that, Travis, much less read it. What the heck did you just say? What is that?
Dr. Travis Taylor
It's the hint. It's the Hindu. It's basically a Hindu Bible.
Bubba
Okay.
Dr. Travis Taylor
It was written about 3,000 years ago, something like that, in the Indus Valley. It talks about these vimanas that the gods fly around in. It came from elsewhere. They don't say if they came from space or from another universe, but they believe that Vishnu is one of the gods who created each universe with every bead of moisture that he exhaled was a new world. Well, but then, look at the books of Enoch, the. The Gnostic Gospels. They all tell stories that whatever these beings were, they might not necessarily have come from our universe.
Bubba
Right?
Dr. Travis Taylor
But they had what we not being from Earth makes them immediately an extraterrestrial. Whether an angel, a demon, or whatever. They.
Bubba
By definition, yeah.
Dr. Travis Taylor
Yeah. So I don't have a. An explanation, and I don't know what the answer is, but we have to keep our minds open. That could be any or all of these answers, right? It could be that we live in a universe like in Star Trek, where there's diversity of aliens.
Bubba
Right.
Dr. Travis Taylor
Or it might be sparse, or it might be there's a diversity of them, like from the TV show Sliders back in the 90s, where there's a bunch of universes. Right.
Bubba
We may just be on the tip of this when that brings up another thing we've. We've had. I actually was on a podcast. They asked me about this. There was An Internet report that the president and the White House had brought in pastors and priests and had prepped them on this. On this information coming out and more information coming out so they could address it with the members of their church in advance to calm them down or whatever they felt like they needed to know. Did that actually happen? Because we can't find anybody that was in that meeting. But have you heard that? Did that happen?
Dr. Travis Taylor
Well, I do know that there were some discussions with some religious leaders. And I could tell you. I talked with Tim Burchett, you know, the congressman from Knoxville.
Bubba
Yes.
Dr. Travis Taylor
He's on the Oversight Committee. I talk with Tim fairly often. And Tim has. He said that they briefed him, some three letter people brought some folks in and briefed him saying we don't need releases to the public cause it might disrupt Christianity. And Burchett told him, he said, that doesn't make any sense. God created the heavens and the earth according to Christianity. And it doesn't say that he didn't create other beings in there. And in fact, he took Elijah away at the end of, maybe it was Kings, I forget which book, but took him off into heaven because he needed him somewhere else. So where else did he. Where did he go? Where was he needed? So it's silly to think that Christians can't accept or even, you know, I don't care. Hindu, Muslim, you Taoist, I don't pick your religion. That they can't accept that their God made more than just them. It's pretty arrogant to think otherwise, I think.
Bubba
Yeah, well, I. I told them too. It doesn't. It doesn't shake my faith at all. If we discovered, let's just say, giant turtle creatures on, you know, one of Saturn's moons, right? God made them. It doesn't affect me. And what I think, just like when we get a picture of an underwater oil rig, when we see a new species of fish in the ocean that we thought had been, you know, extinct for a million years, or a giant squid. That doesn't shake my faith at all. I mean, it's just again, God is a God of creation and design. And like, say, maybe he wrote more than one song. I don't know if he did. It's his deal. He's still in charge. It doesn't affect me and I'm all right with that. Now, if they come in here, you know, wanting to shoot everybody with a laser beam and make us prisoners, you know, yeah, that may be. You know, that's a little different thing, but we could deal with that. Too.
Dr. Travis Taylor
Well, you know, Bubba, I think what a lot of the fear is, you know, and this is conspiracy theory, and I'm not saying there's any validity to it. Right. So what if they take an ancient astronaut hypothesis kind of approach. What if Jesus really was, say, an alien, like. Like Superman.
Bubba
Right, right.
Dr. Travis Taylor
And he. And he gets here and he realized he could help us or whatever. Does that shake the faith that he's not God's son? I, you know, I don't believe it does. To me, in my mind it doesn't. I mean, if we're all, you know, a spark of God, it doesn't matter. Right. But I think that could be one of the fears maybe that the folks concerned about cultural disruption and power flow are concerned with.
Bubba
So you're kind of talking about a Stargate scenario where what we saw as deities might just strictly be high tech aliens, way ahead of our time. I don't believe that. But I'm saying that's the theory.
Dr. Travis Taylor
Well, you know, there is several different interpretations of the ancient Sumerian cuneiform texts. And one of the interpretations is that the ancient God, the Anunnaki, Enki and his brother Enlil, you know, they created humanity out of the beings that were already here, like Australopithecines or hominids or whatever was here at the time they got here and they infused them with their DNA. That's the spark of God as they reinterpret it. Right. And then they made them intelligent so they could be different class workers to mine gold and various things for them. Now, that's just one interpretation of those ancient texts. I'm not saying that is the interpretation, Travis.
Bubba
You're gonna have people on Huntsville worried about you that you're not Southern Baptist anymore if you keep talking crazy.
Dr. Travis Taylor
Like me and my mom and my dad talk about that all the time. Bubba. They would excommunicate me from the church
Bubba
I grew up in.
Dr. Travis Taylor
But that's the fear is what I think. And that's the fear that politically people are concerned about.
Bubba
We're talking to Dr. Travis Taylor. You know him best as from the secrets of Skinwalker Ranch, Ancient aliens, and a whole host of other programs on the History Channel. We'll be back and talk with more about the UFO release and Skinwalker Ranch right after this.

We're back folks. Dr. Travis Taylor from the Secrets of Skinwalker Ranch. Also Ancient Aliens and a whole host of other programs you can find on the History Channel and other places. Also a former member of the government secret UAP program that didn't exist. But he was on there somehow even though it didn't exist. Dr. Taylor, welcome back.
Dr. Travis Taylor
Thank you bubba. Great to be here.
Bubba
How does it feel to work on something that doesn't exist? Was that cool?
Dr. Travis Taylor
Yeah. Well, you know my, the majority of my career, 35 years working for the aerospace industry, the government or multi letter agencies. I would say 80% of things I've done in my career, I go I'll never be able to tell anybody. So that's something you get used to. Now there are people you get. I heard somebody once said NSA say that this lady was famous in certain circles and they're in certain classified circles. Right. And, and, and so you just think, well you know, you're never going to Nobel prize doing this, but maybe somebody in all these circles will remember who I was.
Bubba
Right? Right. So tell us. Skinwalker Ranch is headed into season seven. And you guys, I'll tell you what I really like about the show. You, you've brought such a scientific angle to it. You have so much data. You know, it's not just something you hear in the woods or somebody saw. I Mean, you got video of orbs, you've got. You've got LiDAR tracks, you've got radar tracks, you've got experiment after experiment after experiment showing something is not right at that ranch. You've got everything but what I call the ashtray that you steal off of the UFO to prove that it was there. So catch everybody up where you're at, and what are we going to see in season seven?
Dr. Travis Taylor
Yeah, if I get in there, I'm taking more than just the ashtray, Bubba.
Bubba
You know, that was the old joke that one of the comedians did, said just grab an ashtray so you can prove you were there.
Dr. Travis Taylor
Right? Yeah, I'm gonna get in whatever, right. I'm gonna look for the drawer where they keep all the Green Lantern rings or the Infinity Stones, Right?
Bubba
Yeah. I just want to pass on that room where they do the physical, you know what I mean? And get that jelly out. I don't want none of that stuff.
Dr. Travis Taylor
Yeah, I don't need. Don't need that, I tell you.
Bubba
Fire in the Sky. That movie still haunts me, Travis. Fire in the Sky. Oh, my God. Yeah, I went by. It was on the other day, and I like to freak that I said, I can't watch that again. That poor guy. I don't know what he went through, but, man, it sure was terrible in that movie.
Dr. Travis Taylor
I've met him and talked with him many different times. Travis Walton and. And he still is such a subdued personality. I think it affected him for the rest of his life. Whatever happened to him, I tell you, it would me. Yeah, there's no. When there's just think about. There's no way you can fight back in a situation like they have in some kind of stasis field or something.
Bubba
I hate being held out.
Dr. Travis Taylor
That is a horror movie.
Bubba
It is. So tell us what's going on with Skinwalker.
Dr. Travis Taylor
So we did 14 major experiments again this year, and then a bunch of smaller side experiments, as per usual. We launched a bunch of rockets, we flew a bunch of drones, we dug some more. We had a lot of new sensors brought out, new technologies brought out. We had ground penetrating radar that were brand new inventions that literally brought from the pyramids out to the ranch. We actually had a satellite that we put up, and we've got a satellite that goes over the ranch 15 times a month. And we use.
Bubba
Wait a minute. How did you get that in orbit? Come on now, Travis, how did you do that? You pull some strings with Elon or something? What's up?
Dr. Travis Taylor
Well, it did go up on SpaceX. Yeah, we. Part of our team now out there at the ranch is omnitech. Jim Royston, the CEO of Omni Tech, used to be the payload manager for the space station. Science payloads.
Bubba
Very well.
Dr. Travis Taylor
And he and his company runs the payload integration, the small satellites integration into all the SpaceX launches.
Bubba
So are you talking like a CubeSat type format?
Dr. Travis Taylor
We put up a 3U. 3U CubeSat, which is about the size of a loaf of bread or a 12 pack of soft drinks.
Bubba
Right.
Dr. Travis Taylor
And so we put it up, we put that together, got it on, got it integrated and got it launched. And we watched it many times as it came over the ranch, used it as a beacon at about 600 km high, 400 miles up or something like that. And so it was a little bit higher than Space station. Space station, 240 miles.
Bubba
Right.
Dr. Travis Taylor
And we used it many times, and we tracked it continuously to look for errors. And, you know, some of the things we found will be fun for everybody to see.
Bubba
We.
Dr. Travis Taylor
We did continue to try to excavate into the mesa, y'. All.
Bubba
We want to see you dig that baby down. I mean, we just ready to dig that thing.
Dr. Travis Taylor
Well, it's harder than it looks. I'm gonna just tell you. It's not as simple a project. And we. And keep in mind, we have a finite budget, Right? We don't own a big construction company like the brothers out at Oak island do.
Bubba
Now, wait a minute, Travis, you've launched satellites. Come on, man, you can dig. All right, tell me about the satellite, too. Did y' all build it, or was it a commercially available version?
Dr. Travis Taylor
So omnitech was building one for a customer, and the customer fell through and they had it about half built, and they called me and said, hey, what can we put on this? What do you. What would you like to do? Come help us figure out the final design. And so we got that. Eric and I and Brandon talked to them, and we went out and redesigned the payload that went on it and helped them integrate it, and then they took it down to Florida. Because it launched from Florida?
Bubba
Yeah.
Dr. Travis Taylor
And no, wait, I think it launched. It launched from Vandenberg. Sorry, it launched from California. And so they took it out there and integrated it in the spacecraft and into the rocket and launched it. But it had multiple transmitters on it, multiple receivers, that sort of thing, and we could do a lot of interesting experiments.
Bubba
So is it public knowledge where it is, or can you give the designation for it? Can we listen to a downlink or anything?
Dr. Travis Taylor
We didn't do that on Purpose, because we. We don't want to take a risk of somebody messing with.
Bubba
Yeah, I understand. I understand.
Dr. Travis Taylor
And in fact, when we show it, when we show the orbital track on tv, I think they're going to blur out the designations and the. And the two line elements that would tell you what the orbital track.
Bubba
Right. You kept your caps. Got to have the caps so you can track it.
Dr. Travis Taylor
Yeah.
Bubba
So, Travis, what. What. What does it cost to put a satellite up nowadays?
Dr. Travis Taylor
So you can put one up like this through a company called C Ops. They're a subset of Omnitech. And that it cost you about a half a million dollars to put something like that up. Fortunately, we called in favors, and it didn't cost us near that because we spent all our money on drilleries and excavations.
Bubba
Right, right. Watch yard. Say that. Do a lot of digging right there, you know. Yeah. What's your rocket. What's your rocket budget out there? I mean, you guys launch a few of them.
Dr. Travis Taylor
Yeah, well, you know, honestly, I. You know, I don't know what our budget is, but I'm gonna guess because they don't show us the numbers. Right. The production keeps that all probably for tax purposes, I don't know. But I'm gonna say we have a budget somewhere between 10 and $30,000 for all the rockets we've done each year. Because we have people, you know, helping us put them together, bringing the parts and the motors and shipping them and all that. And if it's funny, people say, why I launch so many rockets. You keep launching? Well, they're the easiest, cheap way to send a sensor or information up into a spot in the sky quickly. Drones are more expensive. We can lose them.
Bubba
They don't work.
Dr. Travis Taylor
Yeah, they don't work half time. We've lost million dollars worth of drones at Skinwalker Ranch literally in the last seven years. Years. And we've launched, you know, not even a hundred thousand dollars worth of rockets, Right? Probably not even that. You know, probably maybe 50. If you added up all seven years, probably maybe $50,000 worth of rockets.
Bubba
Well, Travis, I'll tell you've changed my world because I. For Christmas this year, I asked for a portable backpack, lidar. And I don't even need one, you know, but I just thought it was really cool and I might need it sometimes, so.
Dr. Travis Taylor
Well, you know, the new. One of the new iPhones will do it. You can take it and you do sort of a panorama. You put it in LiDAR mode and you walk around with it. And then it'll create a 3D rendered LiDAR image. I don't know, one minute.
Bubba
I might have it here on this. On the new one. Is it on here?
Dr. Travis Taylor
You might very well, because I'm dragging. Dragon used it and did a 3D image of the inside of Homestead 2, and it worked beautifully.
Bubba
Okay, well, I got to go out and try that out. So what else should we know about the upcoming season? And. And tell me about the spin offs. There's some. There's several spin offs now. Right.
Dr. Travis Taylor
Well, I know that the beyond. They didn't. They didn't do that this year. They. There was some conflict with the people doing it. And we're talking about finding a way to actually pick a few places that we want to go and actually do a deeper investigation in. We did send some folks to do some scouting, but we didn't turn that into anything that's going to be released yet. And the other, other possibilities are, you know, we've been taught. We talked to a lot of folks on other, other, you know, documentaries like Unexplained and the Truth is Out There and that sort of thing, but we spent so much time and work this year that we didn't have the bandwidth to separate into the other show this year. It was just too much.
Bubba
Right.
Dr. Travis Taylor
And because we literally. I took my daughter out there for a week to help. She's a graduating senior, electrical engineering.
Bubba
Cool.
Dr. Travis Taylor
And. And she, she built a sensor and all that sort of thing. She's good with cameras. And she realized when she got out there that it wasn't a vacation.
Bubba
Right. Yeah. I saw Episode where she first went. I don't think I saw the one
Dr. Travis Taylor
after it, but yeah, we were working 16 hours a day and I worked too much. I know.
Bubba
How was mom with her going out there? I mean, you. You've had some health problems out there. Was she fired up about her going or was she gonna go, what are you gonna do?
Dr. Travis Taylor
She said, you're over 18. You can make your own decision. You're an adult now. But I wouldn't go. That's what she said. Put on the place. Yeah.
Bubba
I love your wife. Straightforward approach on everything. I can relate to that because I have it here. Oh, that's great. So what. What else do people need to know? Any other in this whole big landscape of what we've seen or Skinwalker. Where are we at on this? And one other question. Let me side track for just a minute. I know Artemis 3 had plans to land on the moon, but the lander is not ready yet. Any update on that? I know they were talking about rebidding it even at one point and Elon was going to do a cut down version. And has Elon ever commented on the show or asked to come out?
Dr. Travis Taylor
To my knowledge he has not ever commented on the show. He may have asked Brandon to come out but Elon's so busy and focused on what he's doing and me and my dad were talking about this the other day. Bubba, you'll appreciate this. Whatever is happening, if I had $400 billion I would know it. I would pay somebody to go figure it out. I'll bet you Elon knows more than the government does.
Bubba
He may very well do.
Dr. Travis Taylor
And when SpaceX goes IPO in the next few weeks, man, he's gonna be, it's gonna be a 1 to 2 trillion dollar company. You know, that's what a lot of people don't realize is we're on the cusp of a new future, of a new super economy, of a new knowledge. Because I believe that all this stuff is coming out because it just has to. Technology's overrun. The government people have the ability to talk to each other and tell each other everything. We're showing in real time. Disclosure at Skinwalker Ranch anything we find, none of it's made up. We might misconstrue. What something is we see from time to time, but it's not hyped, it's all what it is in the moment. What we see, what we hope, what we're looking for. And so things like that. And Elon's gonna go to the moon whether NASA's with him or not. Yeah, yeah, Mars, whether NASA's with him or not.
Bubba
Maybe his last trip, but I think
Dr. Travis Taylor
he's going yeah, it might be, but so that's happening. And when SpaceX goes IPO. Well, when they do their independent public offering, there are say a thousand engineers that work for SpaceX that are suddenly going to have $100 million each. They're gonna want to do the things that Elon wouldn't let them do, right? And they're smart, they're gonna brain, we're gonna have a whole new era of space stuff. It is gonna look like, I don't know, pick your favorite sci fi thing. The Expanse, Babylon 5 star. You know, it's gonna, we're gonna start moving into where space is the next frontier and industry and, and, and you put on top of that the AI data centers and all that. We're at a level where something is about to change. I mean something is about to change especially because that's another thing. They better start releasing stuff because AI is going to find anything they, that's being hidden away and the quantum computing is going to break all the codes. So full disclosure is coming whether people want it or not.
Bubba
You know, that's, you mentioned the quantum computers. They can do so much so quick. What you're referencing is there will be no code it can't break because it can try them all.
Dr. Travis Taylor
Any old codes. There are some new quantum proof algorithms that are being developed and I think by the time we get to a thousand quantum processors, qubits in a quantum computer, we will have the algorithms that we can employ. But that the first few years of quantum computing, your bank accounts, every, every old school NSA code, they're gone. They're, they're going out just like that, you know, and so that's going to be a new unusual error for a little while.
Bubba
Travis, you mentioned AI a couple of times. Do you have a particular AI that you like to use or you have more luck with or.
Dr. Travis Taylor
Well, it's a good question. I use a lot of different AIs. I have a. And it cost different for different success. So I have, I have the expensive version of, of chat GPT just because it's one I started with first and I built such a big repertoire with it and I have, I use it as part of my workflow. But I, I double check it with Grok. Yeah, I like to take two of them and fight them against each other.
Bubba
Right.
Dr. Travis Taylor
So that they can keep each other from hallucinating because you know, if you don't know the answer to make something up. Kind of like Southerners.
Bubba
Yeah, I've read a few and I go, that ain't right. That ain't right. Dr. Travis Taylor from the Secrets of Skinwalker Ranch. Ancient Aliens. Gosh, you've been on so many shows, Travis. What else you've been on?
Dr. Travis Taylor
Oh man, I made a list of them a while back. It's something like 100 different shows. I did this, I did this one show even. It was like technology that made America. You know, I was on it for a little bit. There was, I was on three Scientists Walk into a bar. Of course Rocket City Rednecks got me started. The universe, life after people unexplained. I did this one show, 10 Ways to Destroy the Earth.
Bubba
Oh boy, that was a good one.
Dr. Travis Taylor
That was a fun one. That was very mad scientist kind of thing. I enjoyed that one.
Bubba
Well, you're, you're definitely on the Rolodex when it comes to the high tech, the unknown, the weird, the strange, the edge of physics, as I like to call it. Travis, thank you so much. And we want to get you back again sometime. Hopefully there'll be some more of this that gets released that we need to break down.
Dr. Travis Taylor
Sure. When it does, give me a call and we'll go through it. And I can tell you what I can tell you.
Bubba
Dr. Travis Taylor. Travis, thanks for taking time with us. Come see us sometime and we'll get on the pontoon boat and talk about it on Bubba on the Lake.
Dr. Travis Taylor

We're glad we were able to actually book her for a segment here on the podcast between Marjan Yoga and pickleball. She's very, very hard to book. The lovely Betty Lou.
Betty Lou
Okay, that's not really true, but I am hard to book. But it's not mahjong and yoga. It's more pickleball and going to the grocery store. And we were out of toilet paper today, so that's basically what.
Bubba
Thank you. I appreciate you taking care of that.
Betty Lou
My day was going to Walmart, and that's a story of its own. You know, we could do a whole podcast on going to Walmart and the people you see. But anyway, you know it. Glad they're there to have a Walmart.
Bubba
Yeah. Yeah, it's an adventure. There's no doubt about it. Well, you. You missed Dr. Travis Taylor. He's been on and talking about some of the UFO dumps that happened last, and he said more is coming.
Betty Lou
Wow. Well, I'll be tuned in, I guess. I don't know.
Bubba
Have you seen. Have you seen any of the videos of the UFOs?
Betty Lou
Have you shown me any? I don't know that I have, unless you showed it to me.
Bubba
I don't know if I did or not. I can't remember.
Betty Lou
You showed it to everybody else. I think, girl, you send me reels of, like, puppies and weird stuff, but you don't ever, like, discuss that.
Bubba
Not UFOs. You want UFO videos?
Betty Lou
I guess, if you'll, like, tell me time. Hey, I'm sending this. Watch it.
Bubba
I thought you kind of, like, y' all talk puppies and stuff.
Betty Lou
Well, I do, but if you're gonna ask me about UFOs and this and that, I probably need to know.
Bubba
Well, I thought you might have just, you know, caught a glimpse.
Betty Lou
We're tired. At lunch, when we had lunch about a year or two ago. I mean, come on. Loved his wife, you know. You know, good time.
Bubba
We were talking about that because his daughter actually went out to Skinwalker Ranch.
Betty Lou
Really?
Bubba
And I said, how was mom on that? And he said, well, she wasn't real big. She was kind of like, she's 18. She can do what she wants to. But I don't like.
Betty Lou
Yeah, well, there you go. Well, you'll be out there. If you can get out there, I know you will.
Bubba
Well, let me ask you this something. I do know that you did see and have a little expertise in. We haven't talked to you about it since we saw it. It was the Michael Jackson movie. How'd you like it?
Betty Lou
Yeah, I loved it. I saw it twice. Once with some other couples that you were supposed to go with us, and you kind of were under the weather that evening, so you didn't go. So I saw it that night, and then I saw it again with you later on. So that was good. It was really good. It was a little sad, some of the childhood, you know, things and whatever, but, you know. Oh, my gosh. Yeah. If you didn't want to stand up and dance, you might need to check your pulse, you know what I mean? Because it was something else. It really was.
Bubba
So let me get this clear. You have seen Michael twice. Hunter has seen Michael, I think three times. Yeah, I've seen it once.
Betty Lou
Right. Yeah. Hunter's seen it in the IMAX deal. This and that, you know, and we have the playhouse here, which is great. I'm glad we have the playhouse here.
Bubba
That's our local movie theater.
Betty Lou
Shout out to our local movie theater. The Playhouse. But anyway. Yeah.
Bubba
Where the 80s live on.
Betty Lou
That's right. I saw it twice there. And yes. Great environment, packed room. Everybody was excited. You know, like I said, you can't help but move around, you know, whether you're sitting in your seat or trying to stand up.
Bubba
Hunter went this last Sunday.
Betty Lou
Yeah.
Bubba
I mean, Right. You know, when the movie's been out several weeks. He said it was still packed.
Betty Lou
Oh, yeah. Yeah. I don't doubt it. There was a group going this evening, actually, from this neighborhood, and I finally just had to say, hey, I'm. I can't go, you know.
Bubba
Right.
Betty Lou
Twice. So I probably need to sit this one out. I'm looking forward to the Devil Wears Prada, too, by the way. I'll let you know. I'll. I'll give you a review on that if I ever get over there to see it.
Bubba
Well, I'd like to see it, too. It was good. The first one was good. Yeah. But I really need to see Michael again.
Betty Lou
Oh, do you now?
Bubba
I think.
Betty Lou
I thought you and Hunter would probably go. Weren't you in Birmingham yesterday? Monday, maybe.
Bubba
Yeah. One of them days.
Betty Lou
Yeah, one of the days.
Bubba
And, well, there was a lot going on and.
Betty Lou
Sure.
Bubba
So your video has been a pretty hot topic.
Betty Lou
Okay.
Bubba
And there's been a lot of comments on that. And how about Betty? You're still pretty good dancer.
Betty Lou
I just want everybody to know I was set up. Okay.
Bubba
Set up. How did we set you up?
Betty Lou
My friend Mari went up to the band.
Bubba
Maury Miller.
Betty Lou
It was. I wasn't. I was trying to protect her last name.
Bubba
Alabama. She's a P. Monster.
Betty Lou
She gonna get you for that. So anyway, she goes up to the band and says, hey, my friend has a birthday, and she used to do this pom pom routine in school. I think is what she told him to beat it. Can Y' all play Beat It. So bless their heart, the lead singer has quit in this group. And so they said, we're gonna have to practice a minute. So they had a break. So apparently they go, I guess to the bathroom, and I don't know what they did and came back out. And here it comes.
Dr. Travis Taylor
Boom, boom, boom.
Betty Lou
You know that beat. So you know, when the beat gets you, you got to get up. Do you pompom routine. I mean, come on, folks. So anyway, and I was trying to hype the place up. You know, we love the late Martin Minnie. My people here, you know, we were trying to hype up the event. So it was my part, you know, to. To dance and show some enthusiasm for these people, don't you?
Bubba
Well, you did. And, you know, I think. I think the length of your ability to keep dancing was impressing everyone longer.
Betty Lou
I was just thinking, well, I think I've wore my welcome out.
Bubba
And I think the shirt you had on while you were doing it made it special.
Betty Lou
My friend Kim got me that one year for my birthday. We used to both work at this same little boutique in Birmingham. Hammy Boutique, by the way, Mount Laurel and Liberty Park. But anyway, we. We both used to work for them. Them. And she ordered this T shirt somewhere or sweatshirt. It says Lake. What did say? Well, now I can't think what it says. Late, something can't buy. Yeah, sorry, can't Lake by right. Because it was basically, they were wanting to know what days I could work, you know, And I said, well, we're at the lake from about Friday, and then I stay over Monday to clean or whatever. So I can work realistically Tuesday or Wednesday.
Bubba
Yeah, because then you got to leave to go to the lake.
Betty Lou
Yeah, I gotta get ready because, you know, back then the kids were bringing 30 people at a time. You know what I mean? I gotta have casseroles ready and you know all that. So anyway, that is why I have that T shirt. But it was pretty funny.
Bubba
So some of the comments, they wanted to know if you were drunk. And the answer is no.
Betty Lou
No, I was not. I could stand up and do that routine right now. And I've had water today.
Bubba
Yeah, yeah, she's. It's an old Pleasant Valley cheerleader routine, which is why I made that comment on the post. Pleasant Valley cheerleaders everywhere stand up.
Betty Lou
The whole routine. Who can remember the whole thing. And it involved pyramids, if I remember right. And like these several. I can't remember what you call it now, where it was a boom boom, you know, it was like, three of us did one thing, the next three did the same pills or whatever you call. You know. So, anyway, I remember it vaguely, but. Yeah, I remember that a lot of
Bubba
people commenting on your legs. They said they're. Their goal now is Betty legs.
Betty Lou
Yeah, well, God bless you. But anyway, they're two and a half feet long, and I do the best I can, is all I can say.
Bubba
You still got cheerleader legs?
Betty Lou
I try to. I try to walk, play pickleball and do a few weights here and there.
Bubba
You take care of yourself.
Dr. Travis Taylor
I do a few squats.
Bubba
You work it. You work at it, which I did have not. And it looks like it's a clear, Clear contrast here.
Betty Lou
Your mind is what stands out here. Your mind and your humor. That's what drew me. And I worried about your legs. Although your legs used to be pretty good, too. But anyway.
Bubba
So you say my legs.
Betty Lou
Well, not say. No, I didn't say that. I just mean.
Bubba
Well, I think that's what you said.
Betty Lou
Not really, but anyway.
Bubba
Well, as we run our laundry list here of subjects, I had a shout out a couple of weeks ago to try to get Ella Langley on the podcast. Now, she frequents the lake here quite a bit. Just sounds like a helicopter landing. Are you.
Dr. Travis Taylor
Are you hot?
Betty Lou
It's hot in here. Yes, if you're.
Bubba
Is it my leg?
Betty Lou
Close to 60.
Bubba
Is it my leg? Is my legs hot?
Betty Lou
I can't even see your legs right now. I see your head and your neck and your teeth, and that's about it.
Bubba
Must be the teeth.
Betty Lou
Must be Dr. Dudney. Shout out to one of our sponsors.
Bubba
So I had the shout out to try to get Ella Langley on the podcast. I've had no response yet.
Betty Lou
I know.
Bubba
And, you know, I mean, I. I don't want to call myself an Ella fella, but, I mean, I'm borderline.
Betty Lou
Well, if you're an Ella fellow, what am I? I don't.
Bubba
I don't. I don't know what she calls the other.
Betty Lou
I don't either, but Langley, too. I sing that song all the time. Anytime it's on, it's up, buddy. You know which one? Choosing Texas. I know all the words pretty much. There's one little area I get gray
Bubba
on, but I think you really need to do that at the karaoke next time.
Betty Lou
Okay? The karaoke on Friday has been replaced right now with Friday on the green, you know, because everybody goes to that, so we'll have to pick that back up in the fall.
Bubba
Yeah, we were just advertising that for, you know, Russell Land.
Betty Lou
So everybody goes to that.
Bubba
So if you have a connection to Ella, we need to work some back. Back pass here. And look, she's blown up. She's big. She's got the number one, number two song in country music right now. She also has like number six or seven. Three out of the top ten is her songs. I mean, she's acting like Michael Jackson right now. Speaking of Michael, I mean, come on.
Betty Lou
There'll be a movie about her one day.
Bubba
And I heard choosing Texas over on one of the contemporary. You know, it was Q104. I'll just tell you that it used to be out of Gadsden that we were on in Birmingham now, and it's a top 40 station. And if they're choosing Texas on top 40, it's changed, it's crossed over. So that's even bigger. Bigger, bigger. So, yeah. Have you seen any of the video from her stadium tour, Dandelion?
Betty Lou
I don't. Is that what you've shown me?
Bubba
You've shown.
Betty Lou
Yeah, I've seen it then.
Dr. Travis Taylor
Yeah.
Betty Lou
It's pretty strong. Oh, yeah. It's unreal. Yep.
Bubba
So, Ella, we're trying to get in touch with you. Did you. Did you. And don't. Don't say what it was, but did you tell. Tell me you think you had a.
Betty Lou
Yeah, so I think so. I'll have to reach back out to that person and just see.
Bubba
Well, they're. They're like people. They spend a lot of time here, so we ought to have some common threads there. We could work this way.
Betty Lou
Yeah.
Bubba
I mean, if she'll do Theo Vaughn, surely she'll do Bubba on the lake, right?
Betty Lou
You know, the ovine. I keep seeing different things about him. You know, Hunter follows him and all this, and I just. He is funny. I mean, I get it. And apparently he's very popular, you know, So I don't know. I need to.
Bubba
I guess he had Ella Langley, apparently
Betty Lou
I need to watch a little more of the Ovon and see what we're doing that we could do better. I don't know. How about going a little Theo vine on him, you know?
Bubba
Well, I think I've suggested that in the past, but I didn't get any. Any movement that way, you know?
Betty Lou
All right.
Bubba
I don't know.
Betty Lou
I haven't watched Great folks.
Bubba
I haven't watched his podcast, so I really don't know what all he does.
Betty Lou
I really have.
Bubba
Or if he's dirty. I don't know.
Betty Lou
Yeah, I don't know. I don't know, really. I Just know the name. I know what Hunter show me. I know he's funny about things. I don't know what all the things he talks about is though.
Bubba
Right.
Betty Lou
Yeah. No, no.
Bubba

Betty Lou
Well, what you want me to talk about? I didn't work.
Bubba
Whatever you want to do.
Betty Lou
Okay, well, let me practice.
Bubba
I mean it's, it's very simple.
Betty Lou
I'm not, I'm not the professional voice that you have. You know what I mean?
Bubba
Well, professional. Let's please not use that terminology.
Betty Lou
I don't have the professional, I don't know, content presence. Yeah, yeah. I don't. Didn't we know the word. There you go.
Bubba
The Right side podcast that I was on earlier this week.
Betty Lou
You did a great job.
Bubba
Amy, Beth and Allison, they suggested you come and help co host when one of those are going to be out. They got some vacation time coming up.
Betty Lou
I could. Matt could do that. Yeah, I might could.
Bubba
And you know Hunter's doing his thing with a barn. Doing very well.
Betty Lou
Yeah.
Bubba
And Caitlin's gonna be doing a little segment with Right side so you know, see brief. Everybody's getting into business, you know, they really are.
Betty Lou
I know what has happened to this family. I mean you know who.
Bubba
Well and some people say you may be the, the most talented one of the packages.
Betty Lou
Me?
Bubba
Yes.
Betty Lou
Well, you're saying to say it but
Bubba
you got the looks you got, the dance moves. I don't have those dance moves anymore.
Betty Lou
I tell you what, I'll talk about the leg workout when we come back.
Bubba
I'm kidding. So what all, what all do you do now? Just with your schedule. Let's hit that right?
Betty Lou
You talking about workout wise or.
Bubba
Well, you're. We're always talking about your busy schedule. What all do you do?
Betty Lou
Well, I get up in the morning and get the house going. You know what I mean? Somebody's got to clean and we don't have a maid or a cook or any of that. So it's all me. So I kind of like yesterday was laundry day, you know, did that pretty much half the day or more. It was wash the sheets day and put them back on beds and that kind of thing. You know, exciting things like that is what I did.
Bubba
Living the, living the dream and making
Betty Lou
lists that we need toilet paper. So I went today and did that. You know what I mean? It's real exciting. And now I have a war against deer. I love to watch deer, don't get me wrong. And I love animals. But I'm really going to be mad, really mad if they eat all the flowers we just put out.
Dr. Travis Taylor
Yeah.
Betty Lou
So that's a whole topic.
Bubba
We spent quite a bit of money trying to update our, our bushes and flowers around the house that we never did fix after the tornado tower.
Betty Lou
Yeah, we did a few, but it was plan A and plan or phase one and phase two.
Bubba
Right.
Betty Lou
You know, so this was phase two and you know, about a third of the things we planted apparently they really like because apparently they're really hungry around here and people have feeders. It's like. But I tell you what, if I put a feeder across the road and they go over there and eat it and then come still eat my plants, I really, there's really going to be, I mean, I don't know, I may have to go war on them or something. I don't know.
Bubba
So what are you going to do?
Betty Lou
I don't. Well, I'm going to try to or. I sent you several links from Amazon. Did you look at them?
Bubba
No. I did.
Betty Lou
And so flashing lights, that motion detector, some of them spew some deer repellent thing. And so I don't know, we're going.
Bubba
I think crossbow is a pretty good fix.
Betty Lou
Well, I don't want to, you know what I mean, be taking things out if I don't have to. But it's not unheard of in this neighborhood, apparently.
Bubba
Well, they are a nuisance. That's the key word.
Betty Lou
They're everywhere. Like, I was coming home this afternoon from getting the toilet paper and had to dodge too. In the car. I'm just like. It was like, what is going on? But anyway, so that's a whole nother thing. I'll keep you updated on that. That may be on my next podcast.
Bubba
Yeah. For the next edition of Betty. Say what? Get ready for Betty is at war with deer. And that certainly will either be very interesting or lead to some minor legal infractions. We'll see. All right, folks, thank you so much. Appreciate you being a part of this podcast. Remember, hit the subscribe button. We don't want to miss you and don't want you to miss anything. You know one thing I love about Buffalo Wild Wings? You can get wings with any of their 26 sauces and dry rubs for takeout and delivery. That's like bringing an entire B dubs home with you. Which you can't do. I tried. I've knocked down so many walls only to then be told to halt construction because I'm not zoned to be a sports bar. Kinda just looks like a big pergola or something. Because of the lack of walls, at least these 26 sauces and dry rubs are available to go. Buffalo Wild Wings let's go. Sports Bar.

"Dr. Travis Taylor on UFO Files, Betty Talks MJ"
Host: Bill “Bubba” Bussey
Guests: Dr. Travis Taylor & Betty Lou Bussey
Date: May 14, 2026
This episode of Bubba On the Lake brings together fun, science, and pop culture as former Rick & Bubba Show host Bill “Bubba” Bussey sits down with renowned aerospace engineer, TV personality, and UFO investigator Dr. Travis Taylor. The main theme centers around the recent government release of UFO files and deep-dives into the mysteries of Skinwalker Ranch, mixing scientific curiosity with down-home storytelling. The show is lighthearted, accessible, and occasionally veers into family life and local entertainment, particularly when Bubba’s wife, Betty Lou, joins later to chat about the Michael Jackson movie and life on Lake Martin.
First appearance: 10:03
“The videos and things that we have seen are things that really need a better explanation.”
– Dr. Travis Taylor (13:30)
“NASA’s technicians ... said that the only possibility... was something wrong with the camera, but if it was, it would have been in many other photos in that reel.” (15:14)
“Whatever these beings were, they might not necessarily have come from our universe.”
– Dr. Travis Taylor (28:57)
“It’s pretty arrogant to think otherwise...that [God] can’t have created more than just us.” (31:18)
“We actually had a satellite that we put up, and we’ve got a satellite that goes over the ranch 15 times a month.”
– Dr. Travis Taylor (40:22)
“If I get in there, I’m taking more than just the ashtray, Bubba.” (38:28)
“AI is going to find anything they’re hiding away and quantum computing is going to break all the codes. So full disclosure is coming whether people want it or not.”
– Dr. Travis Taylor (51:19)
“[My] majority of my career, 35 years...I’d say 80% of things I’ve done in my career, I’ll never be able to tell anybody.” (37:03)
“Fire in the Sky. Oh, my God...I don’t know what he went through, but man, it sure was terrible in that movie.”
– Bubba (38:54) “I’ve met him and talked with him many different times...he still is such a subdued personality. I think it affected him for the rest of his life.”
– Dr. Travis Taylor (39:10)
The tone is homey, playful, and conversational, with moments of scientific deep-dive offset by southern wit, light self-deprecation, and folksy observations. Dr. Taylor brings methodical and evidence-based weight without losing his Alabama roots. Betty’s segment is pure slice-of-life fun, bringing warmth, relatability, and plenty of laughs.
This episode blends exclusive insights into the ongoing public disclosure of UFO materials with the laid-back culture of lake life. Dr. Taylor provides scientific insight and personal anecdotes, while Bubba and Betty ensure things never get too serious or dry. It’s an episode that invites both believers and skeptics to the table—and sends everyone home smiling.
