It took me two years to build up the courage to do my first calligraphy workshop because I was in this imposter syndrome. I was like, oh no. Like, I'm not good enough. Like, English is not my first language. No, no, no. Like, I cannot teach calligraphy. Like, that's impossible. And then took me two years until I was like, actually was like, no, we're doing it. And then once I did a few of those workshops, I was like, maybe I can do like a podcast.

Hey there. I'm Cody McGuffey. I'm a husband dad of three and I'm the founder of Everbee Ever Be Ever Furby, where we serve over a million creators across the globe, helping them grow thriving online businesses. I believe every single human is a creator and I believe every single creator should own a business. It is that gives them the freedom to build the life that they dream of. Built online is where creators, entrepreneurs and leaders get real insights, real stories and the edge to build something that actually lasts. This is where the next generation builders get built. Valerie, how are you?
A (1:01)
I'm amazing, thank you. I'm very excited to be here.
B (1:05)
Cody, I am excited to have you here too. You mentioned before the recording this is your first time ever being on a podcast.
A (1:12)
Yes, I'm thrilled. I'm very, very excited to just talk with you and share some of my insights and hoping that it will be helpful to other people.
B (1:24)
No question it will. And I'm really happy that you're here too. I always love talking to, I don't know, just people in the trenches actually doing, actually building stuff and actually making it happen. Especially love talking to like ever be customers and people that have used ever be research and like all this stuff too. And then people that sell on Etsy, it's like they're, they hold a special place in my heart because I don't know, typically it's like their first business that they're starting, typically. And I remember my first business of getting my first online sale. It was like life changing, you know, so I'm excited to just dive in. Dive in with you.

Yeah. Oh my God, totally. Yeah. Let's start with sir. I was just wanting to say that, you know, I sometimes think about my Etsy shops like my babies, which sometimes maybe not good in like in business to associate your business with something like so attached. But with Etsy, I find like a lot of Etsy sellers in particular, they're like, it's like their babies, their business.
