It will just be one obsessed human, a creator with AI systems running behind it. That's the new economy. This is the future. That's what you'll regret missing if you sit on the sidelines today. So here's my challenge. Don't wait. Start now. Build something that you own, that you control, and something that you can, something you can compound into your future. Hey there. I'm Cody McGuffey. I'm a husband, dad of three, and the founder of Ever Be, Ever Be, Ever Be Everbee, where we serve over a million creators across the globe, helping them grow thriving online businesses. I believe every single human is a creator. And I believe every single creator should own a business, a business that gives them the freedom to build the life that they dream of. Built online is where creators, entrepreneurs and leaders get real insights, real stories, and the edge to build something that actually lasts. This is where the next generation of builders get built. Five years from now, if you don't own a business, you're going to regret it. Not because you'll be broke tomorrow, but because the world is moving online at a record speed. And if you're still relying on your job or a platform or an algorithm, you'll realize that you never actually owned your future. If you pay attention, if you look around, everything is digital. Banking, entertainment, shopping, education. The economy is being rebuilt online. And it's happening faster than any industrial revolution in the history of time. The pandemic accelerated it. And then when you have AI and ChatGPT and GPT5, it's pushing us into hyperdrive. It's making everything faster, everything online, faster. And the truth is that businesses that live offline or depend on someone else's out platform or algorithm, they're dying. And the businesses that thrive are the ones that build their own online system and actually own their brand and own their business. And in the next five years, the middle class will be split into two. You're over here, you're going to have people who own a business that runs online. And over here, you will have people who worked for the people that own a business that runs online. And if you don't own a business, here's what you're signing up for. You are signing up for jobs that can disappear overnight. Layoffs. Don't care how loyal you were. Algorithms decide who gets seen and who gets buried. So if you're relying on algorithms, you're signing up for lack of control. And platforms that change fees, terms and rules whenever they want. So when you're dependent on these things, you don't actually own your future. You are renting it. And renting always costs more in the end. Example of this, A friend of mine worked at a company for almost a decade. It was like nine and a half years. He was a top performer, never missed deadlines. He was, he was that all star employee. He did everything right. And one day the company got acquired by another big company. Within two weeks he was gone. Laid off. No warning, no control. The thing is, his skills didn't vanish overnight. He was still a really, really good employee. Really good at what he does. His ability to produce value didn't vanish overnight either. What vanished overnight was the company's need for him. And that's the danger. When your entire financial future is tied to one paycheck, one boss, one company, you don't actually own your life. You don't control that. Now imagine if the same friend was building even a small online business on the side selling digital products. Maybe a subscription. Maybe it was a print on demand store. Maybe he was selling soap out of his kitchen. Something little, doesn't matter. But it was something that he owned. The layoff still would have hurt him and it wouldn't have wrecked his. His security for his family. He would've had options, he would have had leverage. He would've had some sort of freedom. But instead it left him with anxiety and left him with fear of the future. Because he still had a mortgage. He still had car payments, he still had school. School costs. And this is why I believe that if you're watching this, you are a creator. Every single human is a creator. And this is why I believe that every single creator should own a business. It doesn't have to be massive. It can start as a side hustle. I can start selling digital products. Subscriptions, print on demand again, physical products. You choose the model, it doesn't matter. The size doesn't really matter. But the ownership matters because ownership is leverage. That's the security. That's the freedom that we want. It's how you go from trading time for money to building something that pays you while you sleep. In five years, there'd be millions of one person companies doing $10 million a year, 50 million a year, a hundred million per year with zero inventory, zero warehouses. And it'll just be one obsessed human, a creator with AI systems running behind it. That's the new economy. This is the future. That's what you'll regret missing if you sit on the sidelines today. So here's my challenge. Don't wait. Start now. Build something that you own. That you control and something that can. Something you can compound into your future. Because five years from now, you're gonna have two options, right? You're either gonna be really glad that you that you did this, you started something, or you're gonna wish. And the difference between regret and freedom is simply the actions that you take today. So appreciate you watching this video. If it's valuable, then you want to start a business.
