A Masters At Work session. Sounds like such an obvious choice but i's 20 years since the last one!The previous two were both curated (to within an inch of their lives!) so the tunes were packed in with shorter transitions. This is a radio show session so tend to play the tracks in full, let them breath and be heard as intended. There are some tracks from the last two MAW Sessions but plenty of tunes that have come since, mainly from Louie.Plenty to sing along to, it's hard to go wrong with MAW, so much quality to chose from. What's your favourite MAW tune?Tracklisting:1: Voices - Voices In My Mind2: Loleatta Holloway - Can't Let You Go3: Louie Vega, Cassio Ware - Just The Way ( Louie Vega Jersey Mix)4: Lusito Quintero ft Blaze - Love Remains The Same (Louie Vega Mix)5: Viola - Little Girl6: Sara Devine - Take Me Home7: Nathan Adams - Falling (Louie Vega Mix)8: Ultra Nate - Twisted (Got Me Going Round) (Louie Vega Production Main Mix)9: MAW - Odysey10: Kenny Lattimore - Days Like This (MAW Mix)11: MAW - I Can't Get No Sleep12: Elements Of Life ft Lisa Fischer & Cindy Mizelle - Into My Life (You Brought The Sunshine)13: Jay Sinister, Sealee, Julie McKnight - Bittersweet Love Affair Pt 2 (Dance Ritual Mix)14: Louie Vega, Keith Thompson, Funki Cables - Take It (Shapes Mix)15: Sheila Ford - Why Can't You See (Louie Vega & DJ Spen Dub Mix)16: Louie Vega, Tedd Patterson - Feel So Right ft Honey Dijon (Tedd Paterson Club Remix)17: Kenlou - What A Sensation (Demo Mix)18: Urbanised ft Silvano - Helpless (MAW Mix)Enjoy!

This mix was inspired by the opening track. Ralphi Rosario posted it on FB which made me curious. I've always wanted it so when I saw it had recently been released digitally I grab copy.On the night of the show just before going live I realised I didn't know where the other digital versions of my old early 90's NY house/garage were. As a result I started the mix off with Bardot and figured I'd find them as the show went along. This proved massively time consuming as my collection is in Rekordbox so I had to look manually using windows explorer on my desktop. As a result I almost ran out of track a few times and had chuck a few loops in.It also meant I couldn't play the tracks in an order I prefer. It was a case of playing what I could find when I found it. I want to do this mix again but programmed properly. I think it will be a timeless classic like so many of the tracks on here.I'd also bought a few new tracks just before the show, so I switched with about 30 minutes left and played the new stuff. It transitions well, but you can really hear the difference in depth between the two genres.I hope you enjoy the mix as much as I have these past couple of days. and some of your favourites from back in the day are in the here.Only two weeks until the next boat party. It's going to be a special under the stars on the harbour.Tracklisting:1: Ralphie Rosario, Byrd Bardot - Bardot Fever (Quench Mix)2: World Series Of Love - I Would Give Anything (Sil Piano Dub)3: Office Gossip - Var II4: LaTour - Blue (Underground Ice Pick Mix)5: Gypseymen - Hear The Music (Tee's Mix)6: Slam Mode - The Happy Song (Slammode Deep)7: Todd Terry - No Way8: Robert Owens - I'll Be Your Friend (DEF Instrumental)9: Degrees Of Motion - Shine On (Junior Style Dub)10: DV8 - C'mon (Hard As Hell Mix)11: Todd Terry - Kashmir12: U.P.I. - My Love Away (Blackout Mix)13: Supereal - Body Medusa14: DSK - What Would We Do (JBO Mix)15: Inner City - Pennies From Heaven16: House of Lords - Dovercourt Express17: Fouk - Floating18: David Bailey - Twist19: Ross Couch - Pressure Rising20: Jaque - Love Will Save The Day (Ain't Nothin' But A House Party Vocal Mix)21: A Fish Called Wanda, Dr-Night - Take Time22: Analog Sol - Glimpse Of TomorrowEnjoy!

Another mix from the vinyl archives. No theme or idea where it might go, just an attempt to play records I've either never played before or it's been at least 20 years. These sessions are always fun as it allows me to reconnect with my vinyl collection and find tracks to play out at gigs. How many do you remember?Tracklisting:1: MAW ft India - I can't Get No Sleep '95 (No Sleep In '95 Mix)2:Kings Of Tomorrow - The Path3: KENLOU - Moonshine4: The Soul City Experience - The Only Way (Club Mix)5: Federal Hill - I Got Something For You (T.M.V.S. This mix was a warm up for a gig the following weekend. The brief was Latin House, so Latin House it is. I fell in love with the sound in the mid 90's with tracks like The Blackout Allstars, but it really exploded in the early to mid 2000s. Those rolling beats and just all round feel good vibes get me every time. I find it impossible to sit still. It always brings the dancefloor to life, maybe because it's a big hit with the ladies and lets be honest when the girls are happy everyone's happy!Too many favourites to name names, not all of them are here but there are a fair few. This is a two hour mix, but the weekend gig is three hours. I only hit top gear in the last 35 minutes and would have loved a longer run, but that is reserved for the weekend.Tickets for the next boat party are now available at humanitix. https://events.humanitix.com/c2emusic-pres-full-houseMarch 6th - Friday night 8pm to midnight. Will be an unforgettable night on the harbour under the stars surrounded by the bright lights of the city.Tracklist:1: Bah Samba - Portuguese Love2: The Latin Project - Lei Lo Lai3: Niquid - Italian Summer4: Agora Rhythm - New Hope5: Audiowhores - Lifts Me Up6: Jazz Sensation - Just Like That7: John Julian - Tell Her8: Louie Vega ft Raul Micon - Cerca De Mi9: Pepe Link - Kalakuta10: Africanism - Block Party11: Monica Naguiara - Eu Vue Levar12: Tangachicks - Brazil Over Zurich13: The Committee - Scream & Shout14: Knee Deep - Pega La Vuelta15: Havanna Funk - Bakiri Ban16: Danny Marquez & Ferry B - Afrocatalans17: DJ Meme - Viva18: DJ Jiorji - Till I See The SunEnjoy!

This was a fun mix and radio show to do. I have an upcoming gig that wants Latin House but they don't have turntables so I've been ripping my vinyl. While going through everything I decided to pull out tracks I haven't heard in years, like 20+ years. The next sensible thing to do is play them on my show and here we are. During the show I ran a little name that tune quiz. There are some serious heads in the VBW community, both DJs and listeners. I was expecting them to get most of the tracks but to my surprise they only got a handful, declaring me the winner!!The music is mainly from around the early to mid 2000's. I wasn't sure how they would all play together but I'm really happy with how it turned out.How many did you already know? Have you discovered any new favourites after listening?Any other period you would like me to shine a spotlight on?The next boat party is locked in down here in Sydney. March 6th, Friday from 8-midnight. Yes a night party on the harbour. It's so cool dancing on the top deck of a boat in the middle of the harbour at night surrounded by the bright lights of the city.Tickets will be on Humanitix. Still finalising final line up.Tracklisting:1: Brian Transeau - Relativity2: Shur-I-Kan - Generations3: Brian Transeau - The Moment Of Truth4: Century Falls - It's Music (95 North Vox)5: Blaze - Found Love6: Jody Watley - Saturday Nigth Experience (Blaze Mix)7: Soul Creation - Nia's Spiritual Journey8: Simon Aston - Can I Get9: United Soul ft D. First show of the second year on VBR. Thanks to everyone that has tuned in or downloaded over the last 12 months. Weekly shows are intense and come round so quickly. This week's show is a new music show for January. It's a real mixed bag, I'd only bought 16 new tracks and half of those were real chunky house tracks. You need about 25 for a two hour show so I needed to pad the first hour out but had no idea what to go with. The mix starts with three new tracks on the soulful deep vibe. I then cracked the vinyl out and played two of my favourite Soulfuric tunes. We stayed old skool and vinyl for the next four tracks before coming back up to date with Jay Vegas remake of another old classic from the mid 90's. One of my favourite tunes from back then. Remakes are the order of the day and we pick another with a beefed up version of The Fog's "Been A Long Time".Once we get past Yolanda Be Cool it's all new, up to the last track. We first pay a visit to Old London town and those lumpy bumpy UKG beats. The rest of the mix is the new house sound I'm hearing in the underground clubs. My fav is the Haritas track, absolute mayhem, love it.We finish off with another classic from the 00's - Shakedown - At Night.Unfortunately my computer crashed just as the last track was mixing in. It meant my show ended abruptly five minutes early and the recording stopped. I had to stitch it back together again.Next boat party for those of you in Sydney is March 6th, a Friday night cruise from 8pm to Midnight on the harbour. It is an experience being out on the water surrounded by the bright city lights. More info on it's way.Tracklisting:1: Sakro - Beautiful Music2: Sakro - Real Deal3: Richard Earnshaw, Ridney, Jovonn - House Is The Message4: Mindinflunce pres The Solifd Gold Playaz - The Best Part (Copyright Mix)5: Mambana - No Reason (DJ Meri Vox)6: Jiva - I Realised (Joey Negro Mix)7: Hardrive - No Cure8: Agent Sumo - 24 Hours9: 2Risque - Let The Music Take Control10: Jay Vegas - Raise Your Hands11: Wh0, The Fog - Been A Long Time (Extended Mix)12: Taka Boom, Chaka Khan - Groove Like That (DJ Onionz Mix)13: Yolanda Be Cool - Get Down (Ft Traxman)14: Reach (UK) - Waiting (Lau.ra Extended Remix)15: Fer BR - The Butcher (Extended Mix)16: Todd Terry, Low Steppa, Loop Da Loop - Something Goin' On17: Luca Guerieri - Latin Soul18: Mau P - Like I Like It19: Alaia & Gallo - Lipstick20: Matt Shannahan - Feel The Rhythm21: Hatiras - Hypnotised (Extended)22: Fedde Le Grand - Liquid Music23: Shakedown - At NightEnjoy!

Happy New Year and welcome to the first radio show of 2026.To kick off the new year I have a special guest who is fast becoming a regular. Emma joins us for the third time in the last 12 months. The last time we ended up with a marathon 4hr mix as we carried on after the show finished on air.Not to be outdone this time we went for even longer. This mix comes in at a whopping 4hr 50m! The radio show stared at 9pm and we finished playing at almost 2am.The last half of the mix we were crate digging back to our UK days.Apologies for the distorted microphone. No tracklisting at the moment, almost five hours worth is too much to be trying to identify, but keep checking back because you just never know. One rainy day I just might give it a try. Here's to a great 2026 for us all.

my desktop instead of my aging MacBook.I couldn't wait to play the new tracks I'd bought. Usually I download just before the show and then go on a wild ride mixing blind almost, live on air. This time I've had two weeks of listening to the tracks, getting to know them and ideas on how they might work together. It was like the old pre-radio days. The mix has a really smooth warm deep bouncy feel to it. You will be head bobbing for sure. For anyone in Sydney over Xmas, I hope you can join me on the 27th for my end of year boat party celebrating 25 years of house music. I've got a great line-up of DJs that really know their stuff. If the last event is anything to go by it will be another amazing fun afternoon on the harbour.Tickets below:events.humanitix.com/c2emusic-pres-…years-of-houseTracklisting:1. This weeks show had another guest, this time a fellow Vocal Booth Radio DJ based here in Sydney. Maurizio Marchetti plays in my old time slot on a Thursday once a month. He's a big vinyl nut collecting edits and mashups alongside choice cuts from the last 40+ years. His sets have a lot of energy often underpinned by a funky/disco vibe but you can't pigeon hole that easily as you'll hear in this mix. We went all over on this one.He grew up in London and so was exposed to the same house culture I was. We both share a love so for many of the same sounds, sub genres, labels, artists. He's a regular resident DJ for Boogie Wonderland, one of the most successful nights in Sydney and Maurizio has put down so many now legendary sets that get the crowd and especially the ladies very excited. I also played alongside him as part of another local collective Larry's Herd. We've done a few b2b gigs over the last couple of years. It's always fun to play alongside him because of the breadth and depth of his sound and knowledge. He came to this mix intent on playing gems I might not have. Happy to say he failed for the most part, but I don't have any of his mashups, he got me on those. This show was so fun to do. Maurizio played for the first hour and came out like the rabbit in a greyhound race! Then for the second hour we went b2b. We each had our own deck, so it was one record each - vinyl. Really living on the edge! You can't plan ahead because you don't know what the other person is gonna play. You then have three minutes tops to rummage, choose, "load" onto turntable, beat match, cue and drop. Believe me that's not a lot of time, especially when your vinyl isn't sorted!! And as you will hear we didn't stay in any one lane for long.So many great tunes in this mix, it's sure to become a favourite for many of you.Tracklisting:Not a chance - all vinyl!! Maybe one day!Shazzam is your friend, should be able to get most of them. Likely to struggle with the mashups.Enjoy!

This mix is just an open digital crate digging session, no theme just great music. A real mix of two halves, the first being deep soulful house from both sides of the pond. Baltimore, NY and NJ feature heavily alongside London. The second half is a more upbeat club sound form more recent years dominated by European heavyweights.Tracklisting:1: thatmanmonkz -Blowin' My Mind2: Simba - Phase Seq One3: 6th Borough Project - Back 2 Black (Cuthead Remix)4: Coeo - The Look5: Mathew Bandy, Dianne Charlemagne - Pieces Of My Dream (The Layabouts Dub Instrumental)6: Kim English - Supernatural (Mousse T.
