Welcome to the first episode of the CAMC Institute for Academic Medicine's Health Matters Podcast! On our first episode, Gastroenterologist Emily Battle, MD, joins CAMC's Chief Academic Officer Doug Knutson, MD, to discuss the importance of colorectal screenings. Dr. Battle is a Charleston native and a graduate of George Washington High School. She graduated with honors from the University of Richmond and West Virginia University School of Medicine, completing her internal medicine residency at WVU/CAMC in Charleston and her gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship at the University of Virginia.
