So the one with the guest is gonna be today, and then the one that's just casualties is gonna be later in the week because we got a great guest coming up in a little bit. Nate Bargetzi, a huge standup comedian who's got a new movie coming out. He'll be in here. We'll talk about college football and stuff in a little bit. If a burglar broke into our home but had a milk bone in his pocket, Myrtle would be like, I like your vibe. Let me show you where all the expensive stuff is. But today we're gonna talk Vegas golden knights. We'll talk about the NFL schedule reveals, because that happened right after our episode from last week. So we'll just tell you who won and who lost in that. We got a little girl who changes the world. I love that story. And Tom Brady walking a Runway. I. It's a story. It's fine. What a guy to have to beat. And she did. She beat them. She won a million dollars for her char. The LA's Sela Neighborhood Homeless Coalition. And I know that means so much to her, so I was very happy to see her win. Glad she beat Stephen Weber, my nemesis. And I thought it was great. Did everybody watch it? Everybody say, congratulations, Mina.

Well, yes, we got an email from Spencer who wrote in and said that he saw someone not bringing in a bag of spaghetti to Fenway, but bringing in a five pound lobster and then just like cracking it open.

And it was allowed. You're saying they said that it was allowed?

[Chris]

Yep.

[Isabella]

[Brady]

I don't know if it's technically allowed, but this man on TikTok John eats shows the whole process of him purchasing a big ass lobster, cooking said lobster, and then smuggles it kind of like. I think he like puts it on his back in like a plastic bag, gets into Fenway and is sitting just in down the right field line, bare handed, cracking lobster open and just. Just ripping through it. Eating a five pound Maine lobster at Fenway.

[Katie Nolan]

No, I don't think. And that's just not part of polite society. Yeah, I just don't think you can.

He did share it with the people around him.

Okay, well, then I stand corrected. If you're at a ball game and somebody goes, you want some of this? And it just flops over. It's like a floppy, wet bit of lobster meat from a random man who brought it in a bag on his back. Are you like, I also have a bowl of butter. Great. I brought my own butter. I'll just go right ahead and. What in the world? All right, you know what? Fine. Okay, fine. Just don't sit near me.

All right. I don't want to smell and deal with your all the stuff inside of a lobster. While we're on your fandom, Isabella, something that we stoke constantly on this podcast, we are constantly adding fuel to the fire of Isabella's sports fandom. And she's a Knicks fan as well as a Mets fan. And the Knicks, now we know who they're going to play in the Eastern Conference finals. It's the Cavs. And that starts Tuesday. So tonight, when this episode drops at Madison Square Garden because the Cavs beat the Pistons 12594 in Game 7 of the conference semifinals Sunday. That was crazy. That game was not necessarily worth watching. Pretty disappointing for the Pistons. They were at home. Yeah. Yeah. Brutal. Just brutal. But that's over now and it's on to the Knicks Cavs. So game one, Like I said, Tuesday night at eight. If the Knicks win this series, they would be heading to the NBA Finals for the first time since 1999.

I'm gonna throw up.

That's such a long time. We thought the world was maybe gonna end in the next year. We thought the next year was gonna be the last. So pretty cool that it wasn't. How you feeling?

I'm excited, but I'm scared.

They've had so much time off, so I'm worried it's gonna affect like the rhythm.

He missed the last two games of the series before this. And so I imagine. I think they say now he's. He's. They sayed. They sayed that he is trending to play in the first game. So the rest could be good for

him, but for everyone else. I know, but maybe like the first. Well, I'm not speaking this into existence.

Smith in a way that makes him want to take her to a game and sit court side? I mean, I'm just fantasy booking this thing, but I mean, we're right down the street from the fact that we

How crazy. I was on the train here from home the other day, coming to work on my morning Commute to do the radio show, which I do kind of feel like I'm doing right now. So if I slip into too deep of sports, just pull me back out. Okay, Isabella. But I was on my way in, and all of a sudden I make, you know, headphones on. I am in a zone. Do not talk to me. Sunglasses on, headphones on. In my prep email. And I. I see somebody trying to get my attention. I'm like, jesus Christ. And I look up. It's Davi. I was like, oh, hello. Come sit. I didn't. Sorry. My energy was very like, don't talk to me right now, dude.

Another thing we talked about last week, but it was very brief because we didn't have all of the content. The NFL did its big schedule release. This is a big new thing it does now, where they go, hey, we own this day, too. In the middle of two. Two big sports postseasons, and they go, but also football. Everybody talk about football. They release their schedule. I mean, most of it already came out. They leaked all the important games in advance, but every team does their own little social media video. Anything stand out as good to you guys this year? I don't feel like I. People liked the Chargers a lot.

I didn't like the Chargers because the Chargers win for effort. You can always tell.

Week one, we're at the Steelers. Week two we're at the. And so this is. They just all have their own very specific way that they do it and people really liked them a couple years in a. And then now it's become this. I feel like the hype was big this year and I didn't care about any of these.

The Chargers went and produced the whole thing. Like within Halo, which I get. Like I am your target demo. Anyone who is in college in 2002, you're trying to speak to that person. But like if you've never played Halo, like we're talking about a dated like 20 year old video game using the characters within Halo. And none of it was like you didn't see football players for the most part. It's just confusing as hell. I can tell they tried really hard, worked hard at it.

[Katie Nolan]

Yeah. And they had a lot of good lily Easter eggs in there. Like they mentioned Donna Kelsey's home remodel for their. Their thing against the. The. The Chiefs. Now it's just interesting, Brady, because I saw that what you rated as your best was the Colts and there was no football players in that. And that's a 20 year old reference as well as they used a Simpsons. Fake Simpsons intro for their 20 year old reference.

But also a 10 year old reference and also a current reference because they are still making episodes.

[Katie Nolan]

Yeah. People are still playing Halo.

[Brady]

So I guess maybe this one just resonated more to me personally.

I think that's what it is, Chris. You think that's what it is? You get in the hint that maybe that's what it is.

That's the reason why I liked it the most also.

The Titan. The Titans had one of the most memorable ones ever. A couple of years ago. They went down to. What is this? What is the street in Nashville? Broadway. Broadway, Yeah.

I think Nashville.

Yeah. And they were just talking to tourists. They were talking to bachelorette parties. They were talking to whoever they found and showing them a logo of the team they were playing and having the person guess that logo. Everyone was wrong and they were hilarious. It was just.

Man, it was great. And it would show the. Yeah. Logo. Go ahead.

[Brady]

And like those are the Titans against the Angry Birds and they're like Falcons.

[Katie Nolan]

Yeah.

[Brady]

They went back to it this year and they went down to. Did man on the street on Broadway. And someone was just approaching random strangers and connecting them to celebrity look alikes from various teams. Like, they found an old British man and they were like, Jerry Jones. Are you Jerry Jones? And you could tell they kind of looked kind of like the right guy.

Barely.

[Brady]

Barely, but enough to do it. The Fernando Mendoza one actually looked like it was a kid who looked like Fernando.

[Katie Nolan]

The big Dom thing made me laugh when he goes because I got a brother named dawn. And then it cuts him off fine. Funny, I guess, the race. Speaking of Fernando Mendoza, the Raiders had Mendoza and Kirk Cousins do the stepbrothers again. I get it. Millennial made so millennial references. But stepbrothers went, how many years ago did that come out? Somebody break my heart. 30, 25? 20. It was a long time ago. I like that. Isabelle say more stuff like that.

Almost 18 years ago.

So I wasn't that far.

No, you weren't. That's exactly right. So, yeah, I get. Fine. I thought their acting was a lot better than I would have expected from football players.

But, you know, it's the right use of Kirk Cousins, which is hard to find. Tuck in this T shirt that you bought from Kohl's and we'll do a stepbrothers bit. Like, it worked. It felt like he brought the wardrobe from home.

Yeah.

Now, the Jets I really liked.

And that was the Bob Ross.

That was the, like, ASMR paint blend to make the team's colors. They just. And that's all it was. They just put a couple, like, paints on screen and then blended it with a. With a painting knife.

Do those ever come into your algorithm, Isabella? The, like, paint blending?

Oh, yeah. To get a certain color.

Yes. And so to me, it felt very social media savvy.

For the jets to go like, oh, this is social media type content that would come up in someone's feed, but it's tailored to. I liked it. I didn't. I wasn't like, gotta watch it, but I liked it. That was smart. Can we talk about the Cardinals? I truly. The Arizona Cardinals. What's going on there? What's going on with the team? What's going on with the front office? What's going on with the entirely AI generated mascot zoom meeting? What? I. What was. Whose idea was this? Why did this feel worth making? It's.

[Brady]

We were worried that they were gonna. The teams were gonna use too much AI and they're like, we're going to use all the AI.

[Katie Nolan]

It was all AI and then they have these mascots chatting in the zoo in the text part of the zoom call, which is like, yeah, because mascots can't talk, but if you're going to AI generate it, you might as well just give them a fake voice or something. Like, what are we watching? A zoom call of them typing to each other. It was like, what the. What is. I'm so upset with them. Also, by the way, the Cardinals Underdog in all 17 games this season. They are not favored to win a six single football match.

[Brady]

They have the worst. I've never seen a quarterback. Much respect to Jacobe Brissette, but I've never seen a worse quarterback hold out and a team be like, damn, their season hinges on Jacobe Brissette's holdout and him trying to get paid more or just not showing up. I'm like, you will put yourself in a really bad spot, man.

[Katie Nolan]

I also hated the Jaguars one because their whole bit was like Trevor Lawrence sitting in a barber's chair or whatever. And then it was such. The reveal was such an obvious crooked wig. It was, like, clearly not on properly. You could see the lace on the back at the base of his neck and at the front at his hairline. It was just a. And everybody was like, oh, it's real. And then he went out on the practice field, and they said, no, it's real. He's still. Why would he be on the practice field with a wig on? And I said, because they want to sell you this bit for at least one more day. But I promise you, there's no way he cut his hair. And then, like, the next day, he was like, teehee, jk, Y' all still got my. It's like, what then? What the hell was the point of that? That's like, when. Remember when John Stamos for his dear friend who had been diagnosed with cancer. What's uncle what's his name? Not John Stamos. The other uncle, Dave Coulier, was diagnosed with cancer, and John Stamos wore a bald cap in solidarity.

Oh, God, no.

People sometimes will be like, you're gonna lose your hair for chemo, so I will shave my head in solidarity with my friend. He instead had a bald cap put on over his hair to be like, solidarity, brother. I would never cut it off.

But I'm just like you, and I'm along for. And you're like, this is more offensive. Oh, God, it's so much more offensive than if you had just sent a card and some flowers. It's just any opportunity.

I hate this image so much. It's so uncomfortable.

Brutal. It's brutal. And he's just like, hell yeah, dude, I got you. It's like, you don't got me. You're gonna take yours off when you go home. How are you? Absolutely brutal. But anyway, that's the Jaguars. To me, they're the John Stamos Duvall. So I guess the AI wasn't as bad as it could have been. So good job. We'll give the NFL teams a round of applause for that.

I am afraid the jets may have been AI. Like, this is a fact that, like, I loved it. I thought it was really cool and simple and creative. But, like, in my mind I'm like, I guess it could have done that.

Look, at this point, honestly, at this point, anything could be AI. You see that Vulture story about, like, even the popular artists that you've seen whose stuff has gone viral, like Justin Bieber. It's paid for, it's paid promotion. And you're like, cool, cool. No, that's awesome. No, I love that. I love that 80% of the Internet is bots. And however those bots feel is gonna reflect if we get another contract for another episode of this podcast. It's awesome. I think it's awesome. Anytime I say John Tortorella, she goes, mmm, yum. Which is brutal when you know John Tortorello, which you do, actually, because remember we talked about him as the coach that tried to get like, poke a guy in the crowd with a stick through the glass and that he's just had these repeated. It was the same guy who lived. Refused to live in Canada when he coached. Was it the Canucks? So he would, like, live in Washington State and just drive up, go to like half an hour of practice and drive back. He, like, did not want to be bothered. He's in trouble again. Now. The reason he had been brought up is because I told you that the. The Golden Knights fired their coach with like eight games left in the season, and they brought in John Tortorella and he's on a Prove it or lose it. Sort of a contract where it's only through the end of this year. If he does well, you could imagine they would keep him on as the coach, but if not, they might just get a new coach next season. Um, after they won, they clinched their series. They beat the Ducks in game six, five to one. After that game, John Tortorella did not open the dressing room to the media, and he did not speak with reporters.

[Isabella]

Okay.

[Katie Nolan]

So he was just like, nah, we're not doing media again. This is after they won. So the Ducks were eliminated. The Golden Knights are moving on, and they do not make the team available to the media. In a release, the NHL said that the imposition of these penalties, which were a $100,000 fine for John Tortorella himself, and then they stripped the Golden Knights of their second round pick in this year's draft.

[Isabella]

Oh, wow.

[Brady]

Insane.

[Isabella]

You could do that.

[Katie Nolan]

Crazy. Now, the NHL said the imposition of these penalties comes after previous warnings were issued to the club regarding their compliance with the media regulations and other associated policies. This is not the first time that they've done something like this. And the. The league has been like, listen, you. This is part of our collectively bargained agreement. This is part of the deal, and if you don't, you will be punished. John Tortorella was like, don't care. I guess. And then they punished him. It was a big. I mean, this was shocking. When this was announced on Friday, people were like, a draft pick. We're losing a draft pick. Especially because the narrative.

I don't have a first rounder either. So this was their highest draft pick in the draft.

[Katie Nolan]

I mean, really brutal. What I saw.

Oh, God.

What I saw was the Golden Knights issued a statement on social media that basically was like, we saw. We're aware, and we have no other comment. It wasn't like after the league's decision, we've decided to. It said we saw, we're aware. That's it from us. Yeah, it's like, okay, so doubling down, I guess. Now the Golden Knights will face off against Colorado Avalanche in the Western conference finals. Game one is Wednesday at 8 Eastern on ESPN. Just sort of something interesting to keep an eye on, I guess. Shocking.

[Brady]

Going. Going back to that statement that they put out on social that said, we love. No further comment. Does. Does that feel like that the organization is angry at the league or the organization is angry at John Tortorella?

[Katie Nolan]

Well, I don't think if they were angry at John Tortorella, they would say as much at this point. But I do think that, like, what. What's concerning to me online was seeing a lot of fans not seem to understand that, like, this is part of the cba. This isn't just like you do media because you want to. This isn't where personal grievances against media in general, against the NHL media. It's like, it's part of the deal. We agree upon doing it. So I saw people going like, I wouldn't do the media either, because I don't trust the media in 2026, which, like, whatever your opinions on that are, that's fine and you're entitled to them. And there's certainly been things, but it's just like this isn't. This is separate from that. This isn't like John Tortorella can't be some sort of folk hero because he won't give the interviews he's literally required to get. It's part of it. It's. You're not at war. You're playing a hockey game and you won the hockey game. So actually, you have to come meet with us and talk to us. So I imagine the size of the fine and the docking of a draft pick was to be like, nobody else think that this is. Nobody else. Try this. It's not gonna work out in your favor. So we'll see what happens. Can't wait till his next media availability.

Now, I know not to do that. Remember when I had that interview for the Knicks head coaching position and I said I won't do media. Yeah, he did.

And do you remember how he reacted when you said that? He was like, that's not gonna work. That's not gonna work. I think it would be good if it would work. Everybody it. You know what I mean? Cuz of course nobody wants to do that part of the job where they have to answer for any decisions that they made.

They rivalry weekend this past weekend, and a lot of teams played against their bitter rivals. There was the. I've now seen that there's a million different things to call the series between the Cubs and the White Sox, but I think the Crosstown Classic Classic. Crosstown Classic, I think, is the one we decided to settle on in the radio show today. But they've got Crosstown Cup. They've got the Northwest Classic.

And we. We've seen on video, PCA looks right at her and says, oh, boy. With Nate on the episode, we really can't say any of this, but he says, s my effing D, B word.

It's like four out of five in that sentence.

It's true. It was truly like if. If any one of them were omitted from the sentence, you could go like, ah, you know, you get up. It's. She's yelling at him, he's yelling at her. Specific words.

In this specific order, accompanied by. And this is a. This is a judgment call. But, like, almost the physical grabbing of said D just makes me go like, damn. I didn't know PCA was so soft. I did not know that. Well, not like that, Tess. But, you know, also, like, I mean, it's better. It would have been weirder if it was hard, but I just, like, I don't know, as a. As a person who attends games, if I know that that's all it takes to rattle you. I mean, you dropped the ball. If I say, like, you suck after you drop the ball, you should just go like that person. Dear Crypto Arena, I went with my mom to see the Sparks play on opening day. When I walked up to the stadium, there were only boy statues.

On September 20th, they're gonna unveil a Lisa Leslie statue outside of crypto.com arena. How cute is that?

Where they say that, like anything that's, like, made to look humanoid, but if it almost looks too real, it gets into this valley between, like, looking right and looking wrong, where it's just kind of uncanny. Tom Brady's face has descended into the uncanny valley for me. I'm like, you look human esque.

And then when I get up to

her, she says hi to Nate, who's right behind me, my producer of the. I thought we were alone in the hallway. She goes, hey, Nate. I go, nate. I was shaking my ass down the hallway. Somebody should have said something sooner. He was mortified. Mortified. It's like, oh, no. Cool. No, that's great. So Tom Brady did that. So my question is this. What is the funniest possible third thing Tom Brady could have done on Saturday? He could have signed a one year deal with the Steelers. That would have been funny. That would have been funny.

Two years too old for that.

Aaron Rodgers did it. He's also kind of old, but 22 million. I just want to make sure everybody knows that he's agree it hasn't officially happened, but it probably will have happened by the time this is out. 22 million guaranteed to return to the Steelers for his 22nd NFL 22. 2. So the problem with that arena, God, what is it called? That's where the Clippers play. They have this thing where they put a bright LED light on the back of every seat so they can do like waves of light and they can like put light in the intuit dome and they can have like light shows with the seats. But the problem is that when you notice anytime anyone's not sitting in a seat, so when those lights work, all you see is the wall of light and it kind of, you know, eliminates all the people that there and it makes that arena look empty no matter what.

a neat idea in concept, terrible in execution.

Yeah, I don't like looked empty. And Ronda Rousey beat Gina Carano with an arm bar and at least it was quick and we didn't have to stick around and watch that other third funniest thing that Tom Brady could have done that night. Shown up shirtless at Busch Stadium. Brady, I'm sure you saw this and I would love for you to explain it to our listeners. Why were there so many shirtless men at the St. Louis Cardinals game over? The. Was it Friday?

Maybe it happened Friday and then Saturday and the Cardinals kept. They. They won the first game with just an entire section of men going tarps off. And I can't remember what the connection to the Stephen F. Austin baseball team is, but there's something to it. Tarps off, shirts off. It worked. And the next day it became entire sections of just dudes with their shirts off watching baseball together.

And it just so happened because Pimlico in Baltimore is undergoing renovation, they moved it to Laurel, Maryland, which I'm like, how the hell are they going to do this at the Laurel racetrack? And I just happen to have to drop my daughter off at the gymnastics gym down there that day. Never would have known that one of the Triple crown races was in town. They apparently did not, like, expand the seating. It was just like, capacity 4,000. There was no allotment made for extra media. There were no, like, hospitality tents or anything. They just said, all right, here's what this local racetrack in Laurel has. We're not going to let anyone go into the infield because it's like protected government marshland in the infield. We're just going to do it, you know. Sorry. It'll be bigger next year. We probably promise. So no one really had a good time at the events this year.

Everybody's going crazy. And Candice Lee, who's our athletic director, who's done a tremendous, tremendous job at Vanderbilt and got on the sports.

Skip Bayless, he's like, I always heard. I've never met him, but I have.

So it's like when you got a sport that you're not, like, you know, baseball. I don't really have some exact team that I'm rooting for. I can root for, you know, players and you can just enjoy, like storylines.

I mean, the Stanley cup, letting it control your emotions, the way we do

with the Stanley cup is what's interesting. I want Connor McDavid to win. So I always root for. For the Oilers. And then I want this year with Montreal. I. I was just, I just did a show at their arena, like. And Canada hasn't won since 1993. So there's something that's kind of fun to be like, I'm kind of rooting for Montreal just because of that story.

Yeah. I mean, for what he. What he did. I mean, you got Jay Cutler and, and, and what Jay did. And Jay started all this kind of stuff. Jordan Rogers did great, great quarterback when he was there.

Kyle Shermer, technically the all time leader in passing yards.

[Nate Bargetzi]

Yeah, yeah. Kyle Shermer did great. But yeah, with what Diego obviously did and you know, the success he had and brought over a lot with Clark Lee and then the Clark there, our coach did really good with, I think you know, stepping back and man, bringing in that whole entire kind of New Mexico State coach, the coaching staff and Diego and all this. And we have a quarterback that now is from New Mexico State. So we're kind of.

They're pulling from there that's not Jared Curtis.

Talk to me about what happened with Jared Curtis. You went on college game day.

[Nate Bargetzi]

Yeah.

[Katie Nolan]

I don't know how any of this works anymore, because the first time you and I met, I told you, I was like, I'm really. College sports, that's not really my area. Which is your favorite.

[Nate Bargetzi]

Yeah, but that's the Northeast, because you. You. I learned that when I was. When I moved up here, it was like, if Rutgers was doing good, you could see sometimes. I remember one year, Rutgers was doing really good, and then everybody kind of pops up and they're kind of watching college football. But it was shocking.

[Katie Nolan]

Yeah.

[Nate Bargetzi]

To.

[Katie Nolan]

It's not a part of the fabric of the culture as much.

Yeah.

[Nate Bargetzi]

It's very pros. And I would. Because I would tell people, like, back when, do a college comedy and we're running around and I'd be like, hey, I'm recording the Vandy game, so don't tell me. And I remember comedian Justin Silver, you know, he goes, I don't even know what that means. Like, so you almost just didn't have to tell anybody because they're like, I don't. What are you talking about?

[Katie Nolan]

When would it come up and how would it get spoiled for you?

[Nate Bargetzi]

Soder was like a breath of fresh air when he moved here because we could talk college football.

[Katie Nolan]

He loves college football. Plays NCAA all day.

[Nate Bargetzi]

Yeah.

[Katie Nolan]

So you went on college game day and you said. You basically said that you wanted him to come to Jared Curtis to come to.

[Nate Bargetzi]

He was. He was local.

[Katie Nolan]

Yeah.

[Nate Bargetzi]

And he was going to Georgia.

[Katie Nolan]

Yeah.

[Nate Bargetzi]

And he was the number one quarterback in the. In his senior class last year. And so I said, why don't you come to Vandy, you know, and, like, we'll be friends. And, you know, just. I mean, it's. You do it and you're just. It was.

You just said it.

[Nate Bargetzi]

Just said it. I remember asking, like, Kirk, Herb street, like, I was like, in Pat. I'm like, can I even do this? And Kirk's like, I don't think it matters. He goes, there's no rules anymore. Like, none of this matters.

It's like, Wild West.

[Nate Bargetzi]

It's the Wild West.

[Katie Nolan]

You can do that.

You can just say this. You can say.

You can say, do you want a role in a movie?

Yeah.

And then you can put him in your movie. He's in the breadwinner.

And that's part of, like an nil deal that he signed with.

It's so. They do so Then I does a collective. So they do. It's not with the school, it's like a fund that's outside the school. So that's what every school does. And so that's that, that fund, the collective, that's what pays the college kids for the names in image and likeness and so but you have access to every, I think access to all the athletes that they go there and so yeah, that's where it comes into play.

It's wild.

Yeah, I mean it's, you know, it's a new world. I was excited to do something different. That's what the movie wasn't. Why he came, I don't know.

[Katie Nolan]

I heard he had real aspirations to be in an old school family comedy like they used to make.

Yeah, like they used to. Like he remembers.

Yes, of course. When he was negative 10.

But he, it's like just like a fun, you know, I think you could help Vandy or you just add this little extra kind of fun thing.

Is he a good actor?

Yeah, he did great. I mean I don't know if I'm a good actor.

So it's like I can't wait to find out. Really looking forward to see how you play an idiot who has no idea what's going on.

You write it, you write it. So then all the. I'm control of all the words. Oh no crumbs dying. I didn't put myself in any position.

And we had a, we had a, a girl that was one of my. The middle child, Birdie, her name's Birdie in real life but they were in a spelling bee and one the of of the girls that was her friends, she could cry on demand.

Yeah, that's sadly a hot in like an on demand in demand skill for a child actor. It's like if you can put on your resume that you can cry on command which is really dark and bleak but good for that kid.

[Nate Bargetzi]

It's impressive.

[Katie Nolan]

Yeah, it's very, certainly very impressive. What is it like going on college game day? Is that like a fun experience or was that stressful for you?

[Nate Bargetzi]

No, no, it was. I think that I've done It twice. First time was a little stressful. This time was very. It was at home. It was Nashville's Vanderbilt. And after this time, it was like, you know, I think it's a matter of how much you think they know who you are. When they, when you, when you go and you're like, I don't know if they know who I am. And so then you feel like you got to do it, put on a show. But what we did the first time is I was like, I'm. When we went through the pics, I was like, I was just trying to make a joke on every pic. And so this one was the same thing. Just like when they came to me was just like, like, just have a quick, like, joke, you know, like, it was like when BYU was a pick and I picked BYU because I was like, this is just a business plan because I have four shows in Utah. I'm going byu. And it was like, you would just try to do something like that. I don't need to get into the, the ins and outs of it. Like, let me just do a quick one. They're all doing that. But I did like, when Timothy Chalamet,

[Katie Nolan]

I was gonna say you didn't pull his Chalamet, which there was like people on either side. Some people loved that. And people were like, that was. He clearly produced that. Like, he wasn't.

[Nate Bargetzi]

Yeah, I loved it because I thought that's a guy that you're like, you know, he's an actor, so you don't know really much. You know, it's like sometimes with these, you know, like, if Tom Cruise went and did that, you would be like, you watch college football, dude. Like, that's crazy. Like, and you know this much about it.

[Katie Nolan]

Yeah.

[Nate Bargetzi]

And like Timothy Chalamet, I think felt like a very real, like kind of person.

[Katie Nolan]

Yeah. It was believable.

[Nate Bargetzi]

Believable.

We've seen him at basketball games. We know that he likes sports. He's plugged in like that.

[Nate Bargetzi]

He's very online. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So I thought his was great. So unless you're going to come off like something like that, I think you can go do it. Otherwise it's like, just try to do. I don't know. I just was. I, you know, I wrote some. That, some comics. I was like, let's just go through this, like, right, Come quit some quick one liners. Why we choose who we want to, you know?

What was easier? That or the Manning cast? Because those are two things to me that seem like, difficult. Difficult.

The many conditions to Be in.

Oh, that's the worst.

That's the absolute. Anytime you do a talk back, it's like, if we're gonna do this, let's, like, make sure there's no delay. Nothing I hate more than a delay.

Because it's impossible to get any sort of, like, rapport going because you have to keep, like, waiting before you.

And it's longer than you. It's. You're like, thank you. Go. I'll go now. And then right when you go, he's like, and then what about.

Oh, he did it. He paused and then kept going. I thought it was the end.

It was. When I did it, I. I talked about it publicly and I, like, Peyton, like, called and he was like, sorry. Like, it's like we were. I wasn't mad, but it was like. It's just one of those where you're like, dude, I look like a idiot. And, like, there's no way for me not to look like an idiot. Because, you know, some of them, when you see they do it, I feel like they have, like. I think the Manning cast is like, what we want to watch with that is like, just have your football buddies on.

Yeah.

You guys are very funny. You tell stories and, like, if like, Drew Brees or, you know, Ben Roethlisfurgers, some of these guys that they played in, it's like, that's what you want to kind of hear.

He does, like, I think, fantasy football stuff. I loved him. He was there. He was. I got a football signed by him. He's my first love of Vanderbilt was him. I remember meeting him. I was in high school. He's at the basketball game, and I went and talked to him. I was very nervous. But he had interception that game. And so. But yeah, and then I was like. I was, like, joking, like, after the game, I was like, dude, if I saw Peyton Manning, I would tell you him. You know, I tell him to his face, like, I don't like him. All this back then. And then we're at this deli, and there's a famous deli in Knoxville. And so we're sitting there, and I'm with. You know, my other friends are all Tennessee fans. And then Peyton walks in, and they're like, hey, go ahead and say it. And you're like, ah, you know, I don't know.

I don't even. I think I lose my voice.

Both of them are underclassmen. This is. There's so much talent on this field. The fact that we're getting chalk, we're getting the top four teams, means that we are getting the best talent in the country. Like the. The level of play here so goddamn high. This is going to be exciting. I can't wait. I am nervous. I kind of wish UNC would have gotten upset. Like, I wish they would have fallen to Stanford, but there was no chance because that team is so stacked. I like our chances. I'm a little nervous going in, but I think they can do it.

Depending on how those two games go, the Palace Arsenal game could be the game that decides the EPL Championship. There's still a lot of things to happen. We assume if Arsenal wins and Man City wins over the next two days, then Arsenal needs to win on Sunday to claim the title. So keep an eye out for that. That could. It's. Indy 500 this Sunday, May 24th, 12:30pm Eastern on Fox. Alex Palo claims pole position for this race. Race. Alex Rossi, part of the SiriusXM family, qualified in second, and Felix Rosenquist, who is driving the number 60 Series XM Honda, qualified in fourth. So we got a few names to be excited about to keep our eyes on.

What about Catherine Legg, though?

Catherine Leg, she qualified in 26th. She's attempting the double. The Coca Cola 600, Will. Yeah, 6:00pm that night. You can watch that race on Prime Video or let's listen on SiriusXM. We spoke about this last year with Carl Larson attempting the double. It's the Indy 500 and then the Coca Cola 600. One is in Indianapolis, one is in Charlotte. So they have to, like, take a plane or a helicopter from one to the other. It is a lot of driving in one day. But Leg will be the sixth driver in history to take part in both races. Should be the first woman, the first non American driver and the oldest driver to make the attempt. So. So best of luck to Katherine Lake. That could be, you know, very exciting.

I feel like they should have to drive between the two sites in addition to the 1100 miles, drive the miles of the race and then get in a car and weave through traffic. That's like almost the second race and then get there and then race again. It just Would be. It's the rest versus rust. Isabella, you don't want to get off of the car, out of the car and into a something that flies and then sit there and you know, you know, eat a snack and get your little soda and then you're gonna be rusty by the time you sit behind the wheel. But if you stay behind the wheel, you don't have to get ready because you stay ready. Yeah. It's just my suggestion to Catherine. I don't think she'll probably take it,

but probably 1100 driving a day.

And you've also got to stop and fuel up. You got to get food, bathroom breaks. It's like a whole. She's got to have a playlist. It's a lot people don't like to talk about road trips as a sport, but they are.
