Raine Michaels, daughter of rock legend Bret Michaels and breakout star of Netflix's Calabasas Confidential, joins Avery this week. She grew up on a tour bus, modeled for SI at 18, and is the self-proclaimed Calabasas cool mom who doesn't actually have kids. Oh, and she got proposed to in Scotland after two months of dating and discussed FeetFinder with her dad on camera. Yeah, we're going there.

Okay, mom, for my dorm, I'm thinking Coquette meets Poet Core.
B
That sounds like a vibe. What do you need and where do we get it?
A
Target. I already have everything on my mood board. A comforter, pillows, and a super cute floral lamp.
B
So you probably need a rug to tie it all together.
A
Omg. They have the perfect CMPC rug.
B
Cmpc.
A
Coquette meets Poet Core. Oh, okay.
B
In that case, let's rtt.
A
Yeah, let's run to Target. You're getting it. Find your dorm, inspiration and everything you need at Target.

So I'm so excited to sit down with her and get to know her a little bit better. Hi, Rain.
A
Hi.
B
How are you today?
A
Good. How are you?
B
So good.
A
So excited.
B
We were just talking about how we're Calabasas girls.
A
We are. Yes.
B
Iconic.
A
The 9 one. Was it 9130202? Yeah.
B
Yep.
A
What's my zip code?
B
I just finished the show probably like two weeks ago.
A
Okay.
B
I always have a show on my iPad when I'm getting ready. I'm like an iPad kid.
A
Love it. Same. Same here.
B
And I know Suede.
A
Okay.
B
So she's the only one that I knew personally out of the cast.
A
Okay.
B
But then when I saw it was in Calabasas, I was like, I'm just more so curious to see what's shown in Calabasas because, like, seeing everyone at the Commons.
A
Yeah. Lots of Commons.
B
Calabasas, Coffee house. All the places.
A
All the places.
B
Yeah. It was cool to see, but it was good. It was really good.
A
Good. I'm glad you liked it.
B
How was your experience filming it?
A
It was really fun. Honestly, Like, I had a great time. I don't know if everyone. But I had a great time filming. I feel like my kind of role in the show was like one liners dancing with old random men at Sagebrush and talking about feet finder. So that was like my role. So I'm Happy with where I am. It was fun.
B
You know what? Like, me filming a show right now, I've kind of just learned it's okay to not have all the camera time. Cause sometimes that just causes problems.
A
It does, yes.
B
And stress and anxiety and people's outside opinions. So sometimes it's fun just to show face.
A
I don't want, like, the anxiety of being like, oh, what did I say? With the cameras always on me. So I'm like, yeah, I'm very happy with where. Where I stand on the show. I think it was enough. But, like, yeah. Kind of mysterious, too, and, like, makes people want more. Yes. Hopefully good. Hopefully good.
B
I'm glad. How would you describe yourself to people that have never met you before?
A
Oh, that's a good question. I would say, I think in this group of people that they call me, like, the Calabasas cool mom, so I'm the oldest on the show, too, so I feel like I have a very, like, kind of motherly, like, nurturing outlook on life.
B
Yeah.
A
So I'd say, like, motherly, nurturing, but also, like, fun. Like fun. I don't. I'm not really a judgmental person. Kind of, like, very, like, chill, like, and just easygoing.
B
Yeah. Meeting you, I could tell you're very much an old soul.
A
Thank you.
B
You're very mature. You carry yourself very well. How old are you?
A
26.
B
Yeah. You carry yourself very well.
A
Thank you.
B
And it's interesting because you come from a family in the industry, which we'll talk about, but not a lot of people in your position carry themselves the way that you do.
A
Well, thank you.
B
And I'm sure you have experienced that, though.
A
Yes.
B
Growing up the way you have and. And living in Calabasas, because I kind of see that, too, with my kids living in that city. Who their parents are and how they're raised is very different from how we raise our kids. And sometimes there's crossover and questions from my kids of like, why don't I have this? Why don't you let me do this? And we have to kind of, like, hold our own. So your dad is Bret Michaels, who's an iconic rock star.
A
Yes.
B
What was it like growing up with a dad like that?
A
Yeah, I get asked this question a lot, and it's, like, so interesting because people are like, oh, my God, it must have been, like, crazy and cool. But I look back and I'm like, It was, like, normal. Like, that's what I thought was normal. Like, he was just dad to me. So I'm like, you know, I thought living on a tour bus for the summer was normal. Like, I thought seeing women's boobs every night in the crowd was normal. I was like, oh, great. Like, I know what boobs look like now. I want mine to look like that. I'm like, great. So it was just. Yeah, it was. I think it was a very unique way to grow up, and I do think it has, like, made me into the person I am today and made me, I would say, like, more mature as a person, because I think, like, I grew up speaking to adults, like, all the time. Like, I was, like, you know, 8 years old, but I was surrounded by adults all the time. So I think it kind of, like, in a way, gave me, like, this maturity that I appreciate now. Yeah, it was a really unique but really fun way to grow up.
B
I also think it's a testament to your parents and what a great job that they did, because even though that's not normal for someone's childhood, you're still so grounded, and you didn't think anything of it. Like, it was just a normal life for you. And your dad was in reality television, too, right?
A
He sure was, yes.
B
What do you remember about that time?
A
Yeah, so he was on a show called Rock of Love, which I have never watched, because it's him just dating, like, 30 women and, like, making out with them, and I'm like, I'm good. I don't want to see my dad like that. So people, like, are obsessed with this show. Like, they love it. Like, All My Friends. Oh, my God. It's so good. You have to watch it. And I'm like, put yourself in my shoes.
B
Yeah.
A
Do you want to see your dad doing that? And they're like, no. I'm like, okay, there you go. So, yeah, he's like, definitely. I think a king of reality TV as well. And he was on Celebrity Apprentice, which he actually won as well, which was so interesting.
B
Oh, I didn't know that he won it.
A
He did. He won his season, which was really fun. And then we actually did a reality show with our family called Life as I Know it when I was, like, nine.
B
Okay.
A
So this is not my first time being on a reality show, so I kind of had, like, a little bit of knowledge, but I think it is different when it's more focused on, like, your life. So when I signed on to the show, he was like, just remember, like, this stuff doesn't, like, doesn't go away. It lives forever, so just be yourself. I was like, okay.
B
I was gonna say, what was his advice.
A
That's great advice. Exactly. Yeah, he's like, just be yourself. Make sure, you know, he's like, don't go in there and try and, like, be something or not, because people are going to read through that, like, so easily. And yeah, he's like, just. Just remember the. These things will stay with you, so choose wisely. Because, I mean, there's still people. Like, someone sent me an Instagram reel the other day, and it was like, pov, Brett Michaels is your sleep paralysis demon. And it's like, you know that trend. And it's like the sleep paralysis demon, like, in the doorways. And it's like all these quotes of him on Rock of Love. And it's like, like, beautiful breasts, nice feet. I'm like, oh. And I literally was like, laughing, and I calmed in. I'm like, I was laughing until I remembered, this is my dad. That's hilarious. What. How.
B
How did this project come about for you?
A
Yeah, so I think they've been trying to kind of make this a show for, like, a really long time, like, since I was in high school. Oh, wow. So there's been talks about it. Like, they were trying to do something with, like, me and my friend group when we were in high school. Like, obviously not same producers and stuff, but same concept of the show, and it just never really came to be. And then they came to me again. I think I got an Instagram DM from one of the producers or something, like, which is. I think a lot of people. That's how it happened. And they were like, okay, we have, like, a big network signed on to do the show. Like, would you be interested in doing it? I was kind of like, I don't know, because it is, like, putting yourself out there and you don't know what is gonna happen, and you don't know how it's gonna. You don't know how it's gonna be cut and all these things. And I was like, I don't know. So I think I was actually the last person to sign on because I was so, like, I just. I am, like, very happy with how I'm perceived by my peers. And I'm like, I don't want that to change by me being on a show. And then they're like, oh, this girl's a. And stuck up and she's a Nepo baby and all this stuff. So I'm like, I didn't want that. But I was like, if I can go on and, like, show people that living in Calabasas, growing up in Calabasas. Growing up with a famous parent isn't all about just getting everything you want and, you know, snapping your fingers and things happen. I was like, hopefully that's what I can actually bring to the show. And hopefully that hopefully I did smart.
B
I think you did.
A
Yeah. Thank you. You did a great job.
B
What I want to know, like, the gap between you graduating high school and now, what were you doing after high school? What, did you go to college?
A
I did. I did. I. So I graduated high school in 2018. I auditioned. This is, like, kind of a big part of, I guess, where I am now, but I auditioned for the Sports Illustrated swim search. So I did that as soon as I turned 18 and got into the top six. So I was in the magazine, which was really cool.
B
So cool.
A
So then that kind of transitioned into, like, modeling. So I got signed with an agency that was actually my first modeling shoot ever was with Sports Illustrated, which is crazy.
B
So iconic.
A
Very iconic. Very nerve wracking. Like, I was.
B
You are like the epitome of SI though. The body, the hair, the skin. You really are.
A
Thank you. Thank you. I'm hoping maybe one day again soon would be cool. But, hey, as I. Yeah, like, mj, you listening? Yeah, it was. It was. It was really cool. So that kind of started, like, the modeling aspect of it. But I. None of my family ever went to college, like, none of my parents and my grandparents. So I was like, I'm gonna go to college. I'm the first person in my family to graduate from college. So I went to college in Nashville. I went to Belmont for a year, and then Covid happened. So then I came home and ended up doing ASU online. And I studied, like, journalism, like, sports journalism. So that's like another whole different niche of my life is, like, sports broadcasting. So I did modeling, and then I did sports broadcasting, and then now I'm on a reality show. That's so cool. Yeah. Many different lanes in my life. And animal rescue, that's, like, one of my big things. Like, I love that.
B
I love that. So cool. Well, I love your dog tattoo.
A
Thank you. My dog, Phoenix, she passed away, but she was like, my sole dog, so I had to get, you know, her tattooed on me forever.
B
I love it.
A
Everyone's like, you're crazy. I'm like, I know. No, it's cute.
B
I love it. And your dad has a ton of
A
tattoos, and my mom has a sleeve, so. Yeah, she's like a. She is a rocker wife.
B
I love that.
A
I love that that's her brand.
B
And they're obviously not together.
A
No, they are.
B
They are. They are together.
A
Yeah. They're just very, very unconventional marriage.
B
What was the reality show for your dad?
A
I mean, it was not super real.
B
Got it. Got it.
A
Yeah. It was like. I mean, they were, like, together, not together kind of, but she, like, the opportunity presented itself, and it was, like, gonna revamp a lot of stuff in his career and do it.
B
Yeah. Good for her. What a baddie.
A
She is a baddie.
B
I love that.
A
I'm like, I don't know how you did that, but good for you.
B
Yeah. You'll have to show me a picture of her later.
A
I will, I will. She's. She's a hottie.
B
As a nosy person, because I'm very curious, what was the si experience like?
A
It was great. I had a lot of fun, and it was like. I think being 18, I kind of wish I would have waited a few years, because I do think I was so young to be doing that. And I think if I would have waited till maybe I was like. I don't know, even, like, 22 to, like, 24, I think it would have been better for me because I think I would have been more comfortable in myself, because I think at the time when I did it, I was just so, like, obsessed with the fact of being in Sports Illustrated, and I didn't really see, like, the full picture of it.
B
Yeah.
A
And then I think now that I look, I'm like, okay, if I were to be in it now, it'd be much more about, like, you know, being a part of the brand, being a part of their message, you know, what they promote, what they, like, stand for about, like, women empowerment, stuff like that. Like, when I was 18, I was just like, oh, my God, this is sick. I'm gonna be, like, the next Kate Upton. Like, I just. That's all I cared about. And so I'm like, looking back, I wish I would have waited a few years. And also, I was so nervous. I do not like the pictures of myself. Really? Oh, my God. My face in the pictures. So terrified. I'm terrified. Like, I look back at the pictures, I'm like, oh, my God. Obviously iconic. I, like, I have the pictures framed in my house. Like, it's so cool because, like, the COVID is like, Tyra Banks. And then, like, I'm inside, and I'm like, okay, that's like. That's like a once in a lifetime experience. So I have it framed my house, but I'm like, yeah, I wish I would have waited just So I was a little bit more, like, mature and ready. But again, I think it did, you know, give me, like, an experience to be where I am now.
B
And I also think when you're 18, it's so hard to be confident in yourself when you're in a tiny little bikini.
A
So hard.
B
Yeah.
A
Let me tell you. Yeah. I was not the most confident in my. And I don't think, like, I can't sit here and be like, I am the most confident person ever in my body now. But I do think then it was even a little bit more. I was just, you know, you're coming right out of high school and you're getting, like, so many comments about, like, mostly positive. But of course there's going to be like, you know, the ones that are like, yeah, she shouldn't be in this. She doesn't look like Sports Illustrated model.
B
Yeah.
A
And I was like, oh, that sucks. And at 18, you really, like, take that to heart. Of course, so. And it was, like my first experience with modeling and stuff like that, so it was. It was definitely tricky. But I do think it gave me, like, a tough skill skin to be where I am now and then prep me for being on a reality TV show where people are gonna comment on everything.
B
Of course. Yeah. They're gonna pick everyone apart. Yeah.
A
It's all stepping stones to where smart where it is now.
B
And you have a great person to look to. Your dad, who's been in the industry for so long and has never been afraid to just go all out and not care about people's opinions. So it's probably nice to be able to go to him and ask for advice.
A
Yes.
B
We.
A
He definitely, like. I know. Like, I make fun of him. Like, dad, like, shut up. Like, you don't know what you're talking about. And then I'm like, oh, he kind of does. Yeah. I'm like, oh, wait, you actually do know what you're talking. You've been in this industry a long time, so. Yeah, yeah, we had a heart to heart on the show, which was really cute. And we, like, sat down and, like, talked about, you know, life and, you know, his success versus my success and how it's hard to sometimes compare to that. But he's, like, the most supportive, amazing dad ever. So he's just. Even when I was like, I'm gonna do feet finder, he's like, okay. Like, oh, the great.
B
I'm like, dad, that conversation made me laugh. It's like, well, there's worse to show.
A
There's worse to show. Right.
B
Did you do Feet Finder?
A
I haven't yet. I haven't yet. I'm tempted. Always.
B
Just let me know.
A
I know.
B
I'm like, subscribe.
A
Hey, you got great feet. Let's do it together.
B
Do it as you should.
A
Calabasas Meetup. Feet Finder meetup. We're like, hey, Calabasas Feet in the mop with the Calabas Coffee House Matcha. We're like, stirring it.
B
Wait, I'm like, you're on to something.
A
I'm like, wait, I got a lot of ideas.
B
There's some freaks out there.
A
There is some freaks.
B
100.
A
I've gotten some weird DMs. Oh, I'm sure you have some freaky DMs.
B
Yeah. I was gonna ask. Growing up was such a high profile father, do you think it was harder for you to make friends, or do you feel like people wanted to befriend you for the wrong intentions?
A
Yeah, I think it's. I do think it's tough because I do think, you know, sometimes you're like, does this person want to be friends with me or do they want something out of it? But I think my parents, you know, kind of gave both me and my sister, like, a good, I don't wanna say talking to, but kind of like advice when we were younger to be like, you know, just be aware of, like, if these people really want to be your friends or not. And I think that, like, kind of helped at a young age. And I. I think I have a pretty good read on people now that I'm like, okay, do you want something out of this or do you actually, like, want to be my friend? And growing up, I think it was a little bit harder when I was younger because, like, it was more like their parents wanted to be friends with my parents, which was interesting. So they would, like, have their kid ask me to, like, have a play date, but then the parents would come over and, like, hang out for, like three hours. And my parents were like, our kids playing or are we playing? But then when we move to Calabasas, it kind of sucks that, like, you know, everyone thinks that, oh, everyone's famous here and everyone's a Nepo baby, but at the same time, you move here and it's like, no one really cares. No, because everyone has something or knows someone and does something. So I was kind of like, oh, everyone actually just wants to be my friend here because nobody cares, like, their parents more famous than my parent. And their parent has this. And my parent, like, you know what I mean? It just Kind of. There's no comparison anymore. It's like everything's kind of similar.
B
I was going to say, I've experienced that where my kids go to school, everyone's some, some. And even if they're not in the industry, they're so successful that they don't care if you are because they don't need the success or the money or the thing. They don't care about it.
A
Yeah.
B
So I feel like there's either people with like zero social media but super successful, whatever they're doing, or very, very famous to the point where I'm like on such a low level on social media that my kids don't think anything different. Which is nice and really refreshing. It is because I was worried about that.
A
Yeah. You know, and it's like, you know, it has the, the bad connotation to it, but at the same time it's like, it is like a good place to grow. It's. It's a great place to grow up and I think it gives you like such great life experiences. And it's a beautiful area too.
B

What were your favorite things to do in Calabasas as a kid?
A
That's a good question. I think. You know, the commons. The commons was like the hangout. Like, when they tore down the movie theater, I was depressed. I. I was like, I had so many makeouts in that movie theater. It's sick.
B
My kids were so upset. So upset. We drive our. We're so close that we drive our golf cart to the commons. And so every time there was any movie, of course it was the best.
A
It's the best.
B
And we were walking and it got torn down. And like, when it first got torn down, it was like.
A
Like rubble.
B
Yes. It was so sad. It almost looked like an earthquake happened. Yeah. And my kids are like, what happened
A
to the movie theater? No. So sad. Yeah. That was, that was a big, A big, I think thing in high school was like, telling your mom, yeah, I'm going to the movies with my friends. And then you would meet up with like, your school boyfriend, of course, that nobody knows about yet.
B
So I love that you're like, so many high school makeouts.
A
So many high school makeouts with, like, one guy. But, like, still.
B
That's so funny. Yeah. People are kind of comparing your show to Laguna Beach.
A
Yes.
B
Do you feel like that's accurate?
A
I think so. I think it has like a good, like, early 2000s feel to it, which I think has been missing in reality tv. So. I mean, I loved all those shows. Like, growing up, I was. I, like, I lived in Arizona, but I would watch those shows even when I Was like, young and be like, I love this life, like, so exciting. And then come to living in Calabasas and now kind of filming a show similar. It's like, oh, full circle moment.
B
Where in Arizona did you live?
A
Scottsdale.
B
Do you know that my husband and I lived in Mesa?
A
Really?
B
Yes.
A
I didn't know that.
B
We moved. We bought our house in Calabasas last March.
A
Oh, no way.
B
Yeah. We're both originally from California, but our families both moved us to Arizona. So we met there, got married there.
A
Oh, my God. Did you go to high school? Like, and stuff out there. Where'd you go to high school?
B
Red Mountain.
A
Okay. I had. All my friends went to Chaparral.
B
Oh, yep.
A
Yeah.
B
Yep. We played them in football, volleyball. I played Vol.
A
Wait. I went to Copper Ridge Elementary School. Do you know where that is?
B
No.
A
Like, very Scottsdale. Like, PC Ranch area. Yeah.
B
Yeah, we would. I would go to Scottsdale all the time just because that's where the best restaurants shopping is.
A
It's. So we still go there and just literally go to shop and eat. It's like, insane. Like, my. So I'm getting this new apartment. I think I'm like, hoping it goes through. But there's a furniture store there called Potato Barn.
B
Oh, yeah. I love Potato Barn.
A
And my mom's like, should we just, like, go and get a U haul and, like, get everything? Because they have the best stuff and it's, like, not that expensive.
B
Expensive. Have you been to the anthropology outlet there?
A
No.
B
Oh, you got to go.
A
Okay.
B
It's in Gilbert.
A
Okay.
B
And it's a full warehouse. Anthropology outlet.
A
Oh, my God.
B
Do you know, like, the big gold mirror from Anthro?
A
Yeah.
B
So I have the biggest one. Of course. I bought it full price. And then I went to the outlet and it was like, half the cost there.
A
Cool. Can I switch?
B
Yes. They have the best stuff there.
A
Okay.
B
All right, well, I'll just start.
A
We got a bigger U haul. And we'll head to anthropology and potato bar.
B
Yes. Like, the cutest velvet couches, dining tables, chairs. And it's all, like, half off. Anthropology.
A
Okay.
B
It's amazing.
A
All right. I'm making a trip out of it.
B
You've got it.
A
It's on the list.
B
Wait, I love that you're an Arizona girl. Hence the Phoenix.
A
The Phoenix. She was rescued out of a hoarding house in Phoenix. So we were like, phoenix it is.
B
Why were your parents in Phoenix?
A
My. So I. This is crazy. I was born in Tarzana.
B
Okay.
A
And then we moved to Canada because my mom's Canadian. Oh. She wanted to be closer to her family.
B
Okay.
A
So we moved to, like, White Rock, which is a little bit outside of Vancouver, B.C. and then my dad was like, it's too cold here. And he was filming something in Arizona, and he's like, let's move to Arizona.
B
Okay.
A
He's like, I love the weather. He loves, like, a dry heat and, like, just hot, like, weather. All because he grew up in Pennsylvania, so he does not like the cold. So he's like, let's move to Arizona. And moved there when we were, like, 2006. And then moved to Calabasas in 2014. Oh, wow. So lived there for a long time.
B
Because it's very rare for people in the industry to live in Arizona.
A
Yeah. He's just. He loved it. I don't. He's all over the place.
B
He kind of gives Arizona.
A
He's lived. They've lived all over. They've lived in Florida, Vegas, Nashville, California, like, all over the place.
B
Do you think you'll stay here forever?
A
Maybe. I don't know. I do love California, but going to school in Nashville, I really like, like, Franklin, Tennessee. It's so pretty, so nice.
B
Yep.
A
I love, like, a slow kind of pace. I want, like, a farm with a bunch of animals. That's, like, my dream.
B
Yeah.
A
I'm like, if I can just have, like, pigs and chickens and cows and all the things, like, running around, like, that would be. That'll be my dream. And a cowboy.
B
Oh, and a cowboy.
A
Yeah, and a cowboy. Preferably cowboy to come with.
B
Big man.
A
Yes.
B
Cowboy boots. Yes. Yeah. I told my husband the same. I was like, I want a farm with a bunch of animals, but in Hidden Hills.
A
Listen.
B
Polar opposite.
A
That is the, like, dream. But, like, I'm like, you know, 30 million versus, like, whatever in Tennessee those houses are. And you get, like, a hundred acres in Tennessee, and then you get, like, one acre in Hidden Hills, and you're like, okay, that pig is there.
B
I don't even think it's an acre.
A
No, it's like, half an acre. You're like, okay. It's ridiculous. Putting over the check.
B
I know.
A
Yeah.
B
And also my issue is, like, why are the houses so big? I don't want a house that big. So much to keep up with, so.
A
I know, I know. It's like the Roomba can't get around fully in there. The Roomba. I was not climbing the stairs.
B
Seven Roomba.
A
Seventeen, I would say.
B
Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, I like the idea of, like, a cute little quaint house, big land that's big land. That's farm animals. Yes. Do you ride horses?
A
I. Not, like, professionally or anything, but I do. I love horses. I like. I'm actually taking, like, this is how single I am again. I'm taking horsemanship lessons right now.
B
I love that.
A
Yes.
B
You're doing horsemanship lessons. And Spanish.
A
And Spanish. Yeah. And clay and painting and. I'm just lonely.
B
No, but you know what? That's actually really sweet.
A
Yeah.
B
Because most girls your age would be out drinking, hooking up, doing crazy, and you're investing in yourself.
A
Right? Right.
B
You're growing.
A
Right.
B
That's very cute. Yeah. I do pottery, but with my children. You know, color me my.
A
I'm. I. Oh, my God. Don't even start. The sun Life next door.
B
Yeah.
A
Smoothie.
B
And then the bootable sunlight.
A
Yes.
B
Oh, my God. I have a problem.
A
I know the routine.
B
Yeah, I know the routine.
A
You go to the Calabasas Farmers Market every Saturday. Every Saturday. You get the pickles.
B
Yep, every Saturday.
A
I'm just making sure.
B
Honey mustard's my favorite.
A
Mustard. Have you tried the. Is it Hottie naughty?
B
Yes, Hottie naughty.
A
Okay.
B
I will put that on my sandwiches. My daughter's obsessed with the sweet ones. Like the butter.
A
Yes.
B
Yeah. She loves pickles.
A
But I'm addicted.
B
I do farmer's market vlogs pretty much every Saturday, so I'll drive my golf cart down there.
A
Okay. Well, I'll see you Saturday.
B
I'll go, hell, yeah. Let's do it.
A
I'm like, let's go taste some pickles.
B
It's getting so crowded. I'm like, should I stop vlogging? Because now it's blowing.
A
It's getting so busy.
B
Yeah.
A
It's crazy. I was there the other day, and I was like, it is packed. I go to the West Lake one, though, too. The Westlake one is a little more chill.
B
Okay. I haven't tried that one.
A
It's good.
B
The Malibu one's cute, but I feel like it's all just, like, grab and go food.
A
Malibu on Sunday. I was there on Sunday. It was the crate. I think maybe because the World cup is happening, too, so there's a lot of people here, but, oh, my God, it was busy.
B
The croissants at that one fire so good. Whereas the Calabasas one's more like grocery shopping.
A
Yes.
B
Have you been to the Date Guy?
A
Oh, I love the date guy. The coconut dates.
B
Oh, my God, no.
A
They're like my croc.
B
Yeah.
A
I have, like, two each morning. Yeah, it's like my. Like, pre breakfast Breakfast.
B
Oh, yeah. No, I. I wish I could stop it, too. I'm like, every night, I'm like. And I'm like, it's a d. It's healthy. I'm like, I'm literally getting.
A
Fine. Do you do the melted chocolate on it too?
B
No.
A
Yeah, melted chocolate, and then you freeze it, and then. Yeah, it's delicious.
B
Okay. I'm seeing that with, like, the sea salt and the peanut butter and. Oh, all right.
A
You're, like, giving you ideas.
B
I really can't. It's funny because I feel like people associate Calabasas with Kardashians.
A
Right.
B
But I feel like it's. It's not what people assume it is. Right. It is very much. Like, a lot of horses.
A
Yes.
B
A lot of people love to ride there. Like, all the schools have the equestrian program, and it feels very small town.
A
Yeah.
B
And when we first were deciding to move to la, I didn't want to live in the city. Yeah. Because I just knew it wasn't smart for my kids. Like, there's not coming from Arizona. Yeah.
A
It's just. It would be too much.
B
Yeah. And so I loved the idea of the schools pretty much all being TK through 12 and feeling like a small town. And so I just feel like it's so. Such a special place.
A
Talgas is so special. And I think, like, I love the Kardashians. I think they've made, like, a good. Like, they created such a name for the area. Like, I don't think the show that I'm on would be. Would exist without them living there and creating this name for it.
B
Yeah.
A
But I do think at the same time that people do have this idea that it's, like, glitz, glamour. There's Ferraris and Lamborghinis only driving around. And it's like, it is, like, still, like, this kind of cute little horse community at the same time. Like, it's adorable. I love it. And I think, you know, we. There's. You still have weird neighbors and coyotes running around. Like, we're in, like, the mountains at the same time.
B
Oh, girl, coyotes are nothing. I had a black bear in my driveway the other day.
A
Was that the black bear that was at Viewpoint?
B
Yes. Yes. And what's crazy is our house is gated.
A
Oh.
B
It literally walked up through our neighbor's yard down. And we can see this on security cameras. We're getting all these notifications at, like, 2, 3 in the morning. I was like, what? It crawled through, like, down the side of the mountain. And our. Behind our gate where the Driveway is. There's, like, all of our trash cans.
A
Oh, my God.
B
And we have so many because I get so much PR that my husband always has to put in the recycle bin. So this bear walks down, rummaged through all of our trash cans.
A
Stop.
B
It was huge.
A
They're like, is the unwell hydration in here?
B
It's, like, looking.
A
They're like, what PR do we have today?
B
Yeah. It was so big, and then it walked down our side yard.
A
Honestly, I'm like, so. I'm, like, so weird. That would be, like, my dream. Like, see a bear in my yard. I would be like, come here. Come here. We literally, like, we call. Like, our house is literally like a zoo. Like, every morning, my mom feeds the crows, the squirrels, the ducks, the little birds. I'm trying to think what else. We have rabbits that live in the yard. Like, I mean, I'm telling you, it's.
B
It's sick.
A
We have a million different animals every morning. Like, the ground squirrel just had, like, eight children, and now they're all running around. My dogs are going insane.
B
I love it.
A
They're like, I want to eat all of them. I'm like, you can't do that. You can't do that. I'll cry.
B
Yeah, I. We were watching this, and this bear is, like, like, in the street, walking like this.
A
Oh, my God.
B
And on the security camera in the street, you can't see the size of it.
A
No.
B
And then it walks in the driveway and was like, holy. Next to my trash can. I was like, that's a big aspir. It was so.
A
I didn't even know they, like, lived around, you know? I think it's just that one.
B
Yeah.
A
That is, like, in the area, and it has the babies.
B
It's chilling. And it's a fatty because it's getting all the trash from Calabasas.
A
I, like, love it.
B
Wait, what kind of pets do you have?
A
I just have two dogs.
B
Oh.
A
Yeah.
B
I expected, like, you know, I'm trying.
A
Well, we're on our way. That's the goal. I'm like, I want the farm I used to have. I did have pet rats when I was younger. Rats or like, rats?
B
What?
A
Yeah.
B
Not like, guinea pigs.
A
Nope.
B
Why?
A
I don't know. I was a weird kid. I was so weird, and I have a lot of friends. I was like, these rats will be my friends. But we, like, went to pet spar and to get, like, dog food, and I, like, was walking, and I was like, mom, can I get one? They're like, literally 11. Because I think people feed them to the snakes. Oh. And my mom's like, there's no way. Like, why do you. I bought. I made my parents buy me like this literal rat apartment. It was like four levels.
B
Wait, have you watched Billie Eilish on Amy Poehler's podcast talking about her rats?
A
No.
B
You're gonna die. Watch this. Stop. It's the best.
A
I will tell you. They are honestly one of the best pets I've ever had in my life. They are so smart, so clean, so friendly. My friends all had hamsters.
B
They bit the out of me. Yeah.
A
My rats, not once did they ever bite. And they are so sweet. They go to the bathroom in one place. They clean themselves all day. And they're like dumbo rats. Their ears are here and they're like. They're really cute.
B
That's cute.
A
I have pictures with them on Facebook currently still that need to go down. But, like, they're up right now.
B
Billie Eilish was saying that her rat or mouse or whatever it is, was named Tomato Soup. And she, like, built this huge, like, mansion for this creature. There was a tiny little hole so it could breathe.
A
Oh, my God.
B
And it got out and, like, weeks went by.
A
Did it show back up? Stop.
B
Weeks went by and she was like, well, I'm just gonna, like, lay out food and see it was living in her walls and ended up coming back and she, like, made a bed for it and then she found Tomato Soup and then, you know, and all as well, put her back in her mansion.
A
Wow. I had. Chester was the first one.
B
Okay.
A
And I had Chester Harley. Charlie Marley. Yeah. Yep.
B
How old were you?
A
Nine.
B
Yeah. Sounds about the age where you're buried in Arizona still.
A
Oh, except for Charlie. I got him cremated.
B
How the do you cremate a rat? Did you burn it? You, like, have a lighter?
A
Like. No, that was a vet. Did the wild nine year old, like, he's my brat.
B
Like, if I walked outside and my son was like, holding a rat by
A
its tail, like, burning, screaming out, no. My sister took one of my dead rats as show and tell.
B
Oh.
A
She was literally brought it to her school for show and tell.
B
I'm obsessed with both of you.
A
No, she's. I'm like, you are? I literally cried for like hours. I was like, how dare you? It's barely even cold. She took body, so she's like, eat the cards. And I'm like, the rigor mortis is setting it. It's like, it was bad. Oh, my God. They're like the Vet, though, literally, I have his ashes still the last one, because I didn't know you could cremate a rat.
B
Oh, so the other vet, you literally took it to a vet.
A
We went to the vet with my dogs. My mom said, oh, her rat just died. And they said, you can bring it in. We'll cremate it. And they gave it back in the full, like, ashes box with his name on it. And I have a little heart of clay with his nose print and paws in the clay.
B
That is dedication for a full dedication.
A
I know my mom was. They would get sick all the time too. My mom was like, I could literally go replace it for $11, and I'm paying 200 at the vet to give them medicine or whatever.
B
That is so hilarious.
A
It was an experience. I think my kids should have rats. It, like, gives you, like, that weird girl, like, core energy to, like, grow up with.
B
Honestly, I'm kind of obsessed with your mom and how she, like, took your rats.
A
I was like, okay, he's still with me at my house.
B
Oh, my God, that is so funny. Yeah, Maybe don't show that to a boy.
A
No, not yet. No. That's like third date.
B
I was gonna say, like, couple.
A
They have to, like, love me first, and then I drop the ball and
B
then they're not gonna judge you.
A
Then they won't judge or they will.
B

What kind of dogs you have?
A
German Shepherds.
B
Oh, big dogs. Yeah. German shepherds are sweet though.
A
They are really sweet. I've only ever had German shepherds growing up.
B
Really?
A
Yeah. My one is a German shepherd husky mix. Oh I love so he's crazy. Yeah. And so loud, but so funny.
B
Does he howl like a husky?
A
He tries, but he doesn't quite have the howl.
B
Huh.
A
He's like trying but it's not there.
B
I. We had a husky once and all it would do is, oh, they're so cute.
A
I love it. They're like, people. Like, they're not dogs.
B
No.
A
Like, he'll literally look at me and I'm like, do that. And he's like, no. I'm like, what?
B
Yeah, our husky was awesome. She was an animal. Like, she could. Could scale like an 8 foot cinder block wall. She was able to unlock the dead bowl on our back door.
A
We had to have baby locks on all of our doors because he figured out how to unlock the doors to let him outside with his paw. He would spin like a twisted lock would spin it. He potty trained himself. We never potty trained him. We got him at three months old.
B
Wow.
A
He would just go to the door.
B
Yeah.
A
They're just like, disgusted with his own, like, poop and pee. He's like, I will not go in where I sleep. Oh, my God, that's so funny. You're insane. My other one's like, okay, I love that.
B
This. Who is.
A
I know. Animals. I'm like,
B
do you think, like, what's your plan now that the show is kind of wrapped? Do you think we'll do another season? Do you think you're gonna do journalism?
A
Yeah, I mean, I think there's so many. I have so many different ideas in my brain, but I'm hoping, you know, I'm hoping a season two happens. Like, that would be fun. It would be. I think there's so many things left unsaid that I think people want to find out and want to know. Especially with all the drama that went down.
B
Yeah, there was a lot of drama. Holy shit.
A
Because I went. I left for like the middle because I went to Italy.
B
Yeah.
A
I had a pre planned trip and I was like, I can't cancel it because I can't get my money back. So I was like, I can't cancel the trip. I let them know before I signed on. And so I left. I was there for like, episode one, a little bit of episode two. Missed like, the Kiki Chella, the clapping. Missed the Dylan Suede. That, like, happening. Yeah, yeah, I missed all of that. I didn't see. Obviously didn't know this was happening because if you're just like, don't tell her what's going on because we want her reaction when she gets back.
B
Back.
A
So I come back and I'm like, what the. What happened while I was gone? Like, Dylan and Suede are hooking up now and everyone hates each other. Like, I don't know what's. Also, this is crazy. I don't think I've told anyone this, but the infamous Tick Tock that was made.
B
Yeah.
A
That Suede posted. I had it liked while I was in Italy and I had no idea that she posted it because I'm doom scrolling.
B
Yeah.
A
On Tick Tock. I have no idea what I'm liking. I'm literally just liking.
B
Did you get in trouble for that?
A
No, no one. I haven't told anyone. Oh, I didn't tell anyone. I was like, but I didn't know. And so they're all like, telling me at the coffee shop. They're like, oh, my God, she posted this Tick Tock. And I'm like, oh, my God, that's crazy. I go home and I'm like, I need to see this Tick Tock. I know. It's liked. I'm like, oh, my God.
B
Oh, you're like.
A
Like, hopefully no one saw that, but it was like you couldn't see Dylan. And I didn't even read the name, so I didn't even see it. I was just like. It was like, need some of this or whatever. It was something to edge off.
B
When it's your friends, you just like, double tap to support them. Like you're not looking.
A
But it literally came up on my for you page was an alien. I had no idea. Just liked.
B
What's your thoughts on that situation, Dylan Suede.
A
I mean, do I think Suede maybe could have warned Gemma prior to exploring that? Probably. I think it was very out of left field because when I was there for the first episode, it was very like, screw Dylan. I hate Dylan from Suede. Like, that guy sucks. He treated you so.
B
Oh, I know. We watched it.
A
Yeah. And then I'm like, I just think going out of your way to say all that and then coming back and being like, I'm actually hooking up with him. It's just like, I would be really confused if I was Gemma, because I'm like, at least if she didn't say all that. And then maybe said to her, by the way, you know, you know, a version of Dylan, I'm seeing a different version. I want to explore this new and improved version. I guess that's fine. Like, I guess, like, go and just tell her that. And like, I don't. I just, I, I, I thought it was, like, a little bit odd, but at the same time, we're young. We're gonna make mistakes. And she even said, like, that wasn't worth it. Like, it ended up they ended up not being together. So it's like, was it really worth it? I don't know. But at the same time, I guess, you know, if you really like a guy, sometimes you're confused. I have no idea.
B
I will say, knowing Suede in real life.
A
Yeah.
B
Cause we met, I think, a couple years back. She is a very genuine person, and she's really sweet.
A
And that's why, like, I'm like, I don't think it was a malicious intent behind it. I think it was just genuinely, like, wanting to, you know, see where that goes. And Dylan is charming. He is charming, and he knows how to work it. And it's like, he's a cowboy. He's a cowboy. I want a Nashville cowboy, like, not a Calabasas Malibu cowboy. Listen, I love it. I love. I'm like, you know, he talked a little bit about, like, his addiction and stuff in the show, so I'm like, if he's focusing that on rodeo and cowboy and stuff like that instead, I think that's a much better outlet, obviously, than drugs and drinking. So I'm like, I support that fully. I know people are like, it's cringe. It's whatever. And I'm like, no, like, do your thing. Like, I'm. Who's to judge? Like, it's better than you being, you know, addicted to drugs and stuff like that, so. But I know everyone's like, oh, he's a coward. Like, okay, he's just my friend. Different. Different, yeah. Yeah, preferably.
B
I get that.
A
Yeah.
B
Is there anyone on the show. You don't have to say names. Is there anyone on the show, the show you're not a fan of or you think was different on camera than they are off camera?
A
I am so hard to ask. I feel like people, like, people have so many opinions. I really just don't. I don't care enough. Like, I'm like. I'm so neutral and so Switzerland. Like, I don't have an issue with anyone. Like, I really. I really don't. There's not one person that comes to mind that I'm like. I just didn't really like their vibe. Like, I kind of.
B
You're the mom.
A
I'm the mom. I honestly. I get along with everyone. I know. Like, certain people don't really get along with each other, and I'm aware of that. So I'm like, okay, I'm not gonna, like, hang out with this person. This person at the same time, but. But, yeah, there's no one that I'm really, like. I Can't really think of anyone that I'm like, oh, I didn't really like their vibe or anything.
B
I love that you're just.
A
Yeah.
B
You're clean and neutral.
A
Yeah, I'm so neutral. Boring for producers. Yeah.
B
Yeah. Are you dating at all right now?
A
Not right now, no. I had a crazy whirlwind romance after filming wrapped.
B
Did you?
A
I did.
B
Tell me about it.
A
Oh, boy.
B
Give me the clip.
A
I'll give you the cliff. Nick notes. So met this guy in Scotland while I was over there for work remodeling.
B
Hot, hot.
A
Love an accent.
B
Yep.
A
Met this guy. We ended up meeting 40 hours later. I was like, I have a job modeling in Morocco. Do you want to come with me? He's like, sure. I'm like, okay. So he comes to me in Morocco, and then he's like, I can come back through to la. I'm like, great. Comes back with me to la, meets my whole family. Then what? Yeah, a lot was happening. Then he came back for Thanksgiving. Cooked us vegan Thanksgiving. Because I'm vegan.
B
Okay.
A
Then I went back to his place in Scotland for just, like, for three weeks in December. He ends up proposing to me.
B
What?
A
After two months? Yep. Honestly, I will say, I think he has public knowledge. Like, not really, but kind of. Of like it is now. Like, it's fine. It's fine. Like, I don't really have, like, hard feelings about it. I'm just kind of like, it's a story. It happened. It's kind of crazy.
B
Kind of iconic.
A
Kind of iconic.
B
Did he ask your parents for permission?
A
He's so. I guess he asked my dad, but my dad is not the right person to ask in this situation because he's just so. He, like, is, like, obsessed with Hallmark movies.
B
Yeah.
A
Like, he thinks, like, he's like, oh, my God. Like, when I met him, the first day I meet this guy, I'm like, going and, like, hanging out with him. My dad sends me, like, the longest. He's like, this is like a hallmark Scottish prince romance. This is amazing. Where my sister is like, this guy's gonna kill you in your sleep. Like, you don't know who this man is. He's a murderer. Like, all this stuff. I'm like, what is happening? Where my dad is like, romance. What is soft?
B
He's such this badass rocker, and he's such a sad.
A
He's a very big heart.
B
It's a girl dad.
A
He's a girl dad. So he's like. So he. I get. I think he asked my dad My dad just doesn't know what to do in that situation. So I think he did say, she's probably gonna freak out and say no and didn't ask my mom. My mom is the one that needs to be asked in this situation because she would have been like, it's way too soon.
B
Yeah.
A
But, you know, I'm like, he wasn't. We were in love and it was like a whole thing, and it was, like, romantic. And did you say yes? I said yes in the moment. And then a few hours later, I was like, no, it's way too soon.
B
Oh, really?
A
Oh, yeah. But his whole family was there, and it was like. We had dinner. It was like a whole thing, so I couldn't say, like, no, I have pictures. I'll show you after I have a full photo shoot of it.
B
And you're not together anymore.
A
He broke up with me. Yeah. Like, three months after proposing and said, I don't see a future with you. I was like, I'm fucking confused.
B
I really can't.
A
I'm like, I'm really confused right now. I will say, though, great guy, super nice. Was never mean to me. Like, I've dated some assholes, so it was great. Just like a lot of whiplash and whirlwind romance. I mean, I think everyone needs that in their 20s. So it was great. It was fun. And he, like. I mean, I was going to Scotland to, like, for dating this man. Like, it was. Yeah, it's all over the place.
B
Did you. Was it a good ring?
A
Yeah, yeah, it was engraved. It was custom.
B
I'm dying. That he then broke up with you. See a future with you when he proposed to you too.
A
He's a hunter. I'm vegan. So. Yeah, it just was. We. I think, like, deep down, we both knew it was not gonna work long term. Your love for animals.
B
He's like coming home with a de.
A
No, literally. He's now a hunting influencer now that we broke up, so it's like a whole. There's a whole thing.
B
Why do they always try to go on social media as soon as he is?
A
I mean, he's getting a lot of views. I'm like, good for you. Do your thing.
B
Wow.
A
Pop off.
B
My son is such an empath with animals. Like, he is. He. I love that one morning he cried because he wouldn't walk on the grass to get to the car to go to school because the grass is alive and he didn't want to kill it.
A
Stop.
B
He's like the sweetest boy, but he had A very traumatizing event coming back home from family vacation because our layover was in Nashville. There's a bunch of deer heads on the airport walls.
A
Yes. Yes.
B
And it's a lot like, is that real? And my husband goes, yeah. He goes, where's its body?
A
Oh, no, no.
B
And then my husband, like, tried to explain to him and he's like, wait, it's dead? And we're like, yeah, like people. That's like a sport. And people stuff them. Oh, no. That really wrecked him. Yeah. He was not having it. It just killed me. Because he thought the body was like, in the wall.
A
You're like, yes. He's just. They pay them to stick their head through for a while.
B
Like, just lie to him.
A
Like, lie. How old is he?
B
Seven.
A
Yeah, that's a lie.
B
Yeah, I was like, just lie.
A
Like, they pay them to stick their heads through for a while.
B
Obsessed. I love that we're just talking about animals.
A
I love this. He's like, what's way?
B

B
Oh, I know what you're talking about.
A
I don't know the name of it, but coconut water. So good. You have to get it when it has the frozen, like, slushy part in the middle. So good. Getting that. I'm getting some mango or papaya.
B
Ooh, their mango. So good.
A
Mango is so good. I'm also gonna go to the hot bar and I'm gonna get the sweet and sour oyster mushrooms. Some rice.
B
Wait, I've never had.
A
Oh, they're so good. They're so good.
B
Okay.
A
Some jasmine rice.
B
Okay.
A
I'm getting either the buffalo cauliflower or the Japanese sweet potatoes with the miso dressing that you get at the farmer's market.
B
Yep.
A
On it. Yep. And then the kale, white beans. Have salad.
B
Oh, you got it down, girl.
A
Yeah, that's my. That's my go to.
B
Since you asked. How much time you mind?
A
Yeah, please.
B
Garlic butter noodles.
A
Thinking about it now, I couldn't think.
B
I'm like garlic butter noodles.
A
Delicious.
B
Cuz they're like the glass and they're almost like crunchy a little bit. Yeah. The Mac and cheese. I know. You can't.
A
I know. Just keep telling me about it though.
B
Oh, my God.
A
I'm getting excited.
B
This is going to gross you out. But the like Korean.
A
The Korean short rib.
B
Short rib.
A
Yeah. Everyone.
B
My husband's favorite.
A
Obsessed with that.
B
So good.
A
Listen, I didn't stop eating meat Cuz I don't like the taste. Yeah, it's just, it's literally just for animals. Cuz I'm psycho.
B
No, it's sweet of you.
A
That's it. But like talking about, I'm like, you know how many times get in and
B
out, crispy rice, spicy tuna, so good in there. And like, and I don't know why but like it's pre made but it's fire.
A
Everything there is delicious.
B
Haley Bieber smoothie obviously.
A
Obviously. I do the sub collagen for plant protein.
B
Oh, I didn't try Chris's for mother's day and I was kind of sad. I need to go try that.
A
I'm kind of like a one person, like one thing. Like once I find something I like, I'm like, I'll stick to that.
B
No, I was, when we first moved here, I was drinking a Haley Bieber smoothie like daily. And then someone was like, do you know how many, how many grams of sugar is in that? And then I was happened to me,
A
I was like, oh, so this is why I need the tirzepatite.
B
I see.
A
Yeah. I was like, oh, I thought I was being healthy.
B
Stop. You know, you're perfect. Perfect.
A
No, they're like legit though. Like they're not like the sketchy ones you like order on like TikTok shop.
B
Like people can do that on TikTok shops.
A
Yeah, I see a lot of comments about it. But you have to type, it's crazy. Like you have to type in like don't ask me why I know so much about this. But you have to type in like, like code words to like it's like pep ters like you can't say like the full word or else tick tock is like you do you need help?
B
I'm like, no, that's how Amazon leave me alone when I buy my vibrator. Because I bought the same vibrator like for the last 10 years.
A
Right.
B
It's like of my number one top performing items.
A
Holy shiny. To look into this.
B
I remember it had like 400 reviews when I bought it. And I've linked it so many times over the last eight years, I think it has like 15,000 five star reviews. And I'm like, you're welcome, you're welcome everyone.
A
Honestly, do you have a deal with them?
B
No, but I mean well, I get commission.
A
Okay, Okay.
B
I don't really care as long as I'm giving the girls their orgasms as they do.
A
That's all that matters.
B
That's all that matters.
A
That's all that matters to you.
B
Yeah.
A
You have a beautiful heart.
B
Thank you.
A
It's a beautiful heart and soul you have. And you know what? There's so many different color options.
B
Options. Like, when my purple one dies, I'm gonna go to blue next time.
A
Right.
B
You know?
A
Right. I'm like a pink. Maybe red.
B
That's cute. Like a rose or. Yeah, the rose isn't really my favorite.
A
No, my friend. My friend got me one of the goop ones.
B
Goop has a vibrator.
A
Yeah.
B
God, she's iconic.
A
She gave it to me for Christmas at Lucky's in Malibu. Sitting next to 45 old people.
B
I'm obsessed.
A
Whipped it out full on the box. Big picture of it. And I was like, whoop, that's.
B
I want to go be friends with you guys.
A
She's. Yeah, you're more than welcome. Welcome.
B
One time I was on a brand trip with someone really famous. I won't even say her name, but she was like, I don't know how we got on the topic of vibrators. And she was like, oh, you've gotta order this one.
A
Okay.
B
She was like. She was like, it's so intense. It's probably, like, gonna me up forever because it's like your nerve endings are gonna be damaged. Like, your clit's gonna literally vibrate off. Yeah. Like you have no feeling left.
A
Right.
B
But she was like, I promise it's worth it.
A
It.
B
And I was like, okay, the way this comes in the mail and it's like this big.
A
Oh, no, no.
B
I was like. It was like a vacuum.
A
No, absolutely not. I couldn't even. I would laugh. I would be like, I can't use this.
B
The size of, like, the handheld Dyson. And I was like, how the. Are you fitting this around a dick? Like, I'm trying to use it with my husband. And, like, what, am I gonna sit on top of him and hold it, like, out here? Like, what in the world? Can you.
A
Can you hold this, too?
B
Literally? I was like. It felt like I gave birth after using it.
A
No, that was the one.
B
I literally got it. And David was like, what the hell is that?
A
It's not subtle. It's like, that's like this. That would, like, ruin the moment. You're like, what the heck? I was like, hold the 1 1. It's like, you need me here. You're like, no. Oh, my God. That is. Sit. Well, anyway, she might have some issues later in life.
B
You know what? She's thriving. She's so hot, too.
A
I love it. Maybe that's the key. I told her.
B
She. I was like, you hook up with the hottest guys. And I was like. She's like, oh, I don't give a. I was like, I literally bust that shit out.
A
I love that for her.
B
I respect it.
A
I respect it. I respect your grind.
B
Like, okay.
A
Anyways, back to rap.
B
So erewhon your dad's best piece of advice. That actually stuck.
A
Ooh, that's a good one, I think. Treat people the way you want to be treated.
B
Oh, that's amazing.
A
Yeah, that was a big thing, like, when we were younger, like, me and my sister. This is both my mom and my dad, though. But, like, if we didn't say, like, our pleases and thank yous, like, we would get, like, in deep.
B
Yeah, that's how it should be.
A
Yeah. And we. If we were like, like, even, like, a little bit rude to, like, anyone, they were like, no. So now I'm like, thank you so much, please. My mom's like, okay.
B
You'd rather be too nice than exactly not.
A
Yeah.
B
And it actually shocks me how many people don't have kindness anymore or, like, manners.
A
It's crazy.
B
Like, when I see people ordering food or even some, like, workers, that's the biggest ick. Like, I go above and beyond to be so nice. I'm like, why are people so mean?
A
So rude? Like, that is the biggest egg. If I'm on a date with a guy and he's like, rude to the server. And I know that's like such a typical one, but it really, like, yeah, shows her character. I'm like, oh, immediately dry.
B
Is your sister older or younger?
A
Younger. She's five years younger.
B
Oh, wow.
A
She's 21. Yeah.
B
Okay.
A
Yeah.
B
Oh, so she's living her best life, baby.
A
Yeah. We just went to Vegas for her 21st, which was a blast. Magic Mike, the whole shebang.
B
Oh, my God, I love Vegas. I'm going in August.
A
Oh. So if you can go to Magic Mike, go to Magic.
B
See, we're MGM members. We go all the time. But I've never done Magic Mike.
A
I got on. I got called on stage and was dry humped for like, five minutes in front of my mother.
B
Do you have a video?
A
I sure do.
B
That's iconic.
A
It was amazing.
B
I'm sure it was the best night of that guy's life too. It was like this girl.
A
It was the best. It was the best night of both of our lives. I would say. I was like, this was post breakup. And he was like, you cannot. Cuz I told him I was going to mad m. He's like, you better not like. Like, go on the stage or anything. Like, blah, blah. And I went on.
B
That your ex?
A
Yeah.
B
Was this before you broke up?
A
Before we broke up.
B
Okay, so he's insecure.
A
Like, I don't know. I guess some guys just are like, oh, like, that's so, like, disrespectful. And I'm like, well, I'm not sleeping with the guy.
B
You're telling me his ass hasn't been to a strip club?
A
Please, please, please, please, please. But, yes, it was great.
B
Good for you.
A
Thanks.
B
Calabasas or New York?
A
Ooh, I think Calabasas is home. New York is, like, work fun.
B
I love New York.
A
I love New York. I feel like a different person when I'm there. I feel like a sexier, totally, like, city girl, fun, city girl version of myself. I love it. Like, I just had a birthday party there. It was so fun. Like, best night ever. Like, great friends there, but, like, could I live there? I don't know. I love, like, the nature and quietness of Calabasas. And we have such good stuff now that's opening. Like, it is becoming, like, such a little hot spot.
B
Do you know we're getting John and Vinnie's and Go Greek?
A
Yes. I was at the farmers market, and I had a sample of their. Whatever they were serving.
B
I love Go Greek. I'll drive my Beverly Hills to get that.
A
I do. They have vegan options.
B
I think they do. I think there's some, like, shirt.
A
I go to the yogurt shop in Brentwood.
B
That's my spot. You have never been to Brentwood. Everyone keeps yelling at me about it.
A
Brentwood is so cute. The Brentwood, like, country mart.
B
That's what I've heard. It's really cute. Yeah.
A
Very Calabasas. Calabasas coated.
B
Okay, I'll go.
A
That's what we say on the show. Yeah.
B
We were on a date the other night, and I made my husband drive me all the way to Go Greek.
A
Well, he's like. Like, this can't open soon enough. Yeah.
B
He's like, if I'm trying to get between those legs, I'm gonna get this. Go Greek. Yeah.
A
And then afterwards, you're like, I'm bloated. And I was like, my tummy whips
B
off the huge, vibrant.
A
Like, the only thing that'll help right now.
B
Yep.
A
Oh, my God. Sorry. I need to.
B
You need to.
A
I need to look this up after. I need to see. I'll show it to you. It's literally a child life size.
B
It's crazy.
A
Wow.
B
Yeah.
A
Okay. All right.
B
It'll get the. I mean, it'll get the job done.
A
Right? Right. With pain. Maybe later.
B
Okay. Celebrity crush growing up.
A
Oh, I got a good one.
B
Okay.
A
Chris Evans.
B
Oh, yup.
A
I was four. Yeah, there's. There's a story.
B
Okay.
A
I was four. We were watching my mom turned on Fantastic Four with Jessica Alba. This was like, the original one.
B
Yep.
A
Hot. Hot. He has a scene where his, like, shirt comes off. He's like. Because he's like the fire guy. I'm watching it. I'm four. My mom is like, oh, like, you keep, like, watching this movie over and over. And I said, I like him. He makes my pee pee tingle. When I was four, so.
B
You know what? I love the household you grew up in.
A
So bad.
B
It's so. It's just like. But it's so, like.
A
I'm almost like, what?
B
It's such, like, a natural thing for kids that you.
A
He was like, butterflies.
B
Yeah.
A
Because I thought he was cute, but, like, I didn't. You kind of are like, of course. What's going on down there? But I'm like, yeah. My mom was like, oh, it's like
B
when you, like, drive down a hill.
A
Yeah.
B
Or like the kids, like, stomach drops.
A
Yes. Like on a roller coaster.
B
Yeah.
A
It's the same thing. So, yeah. I think, like, younger, probably Chris Evans and then growing up, like, I don't know, like, One Direction.
B
So how about now? Who's your celebrity crush now?
A
God, that's a good one. I have so many. I have so many.
B
I have a couple.
A
I mean, Jacob Elordi. Hot, Like, I mean, that's like, top of mind.
B
Yeah. Him and Kendall are everything.
A
I mean, Zayn Malik.
B
Yeah. Also so hot.
A
Yeah. So hot.
B
Okay. Yeah, got it.
A
Those are, like, I would say, like, off the top of my head. I could name, like, 50 more, but, yeah, Top of the Head. Those are the two.
B
Okay. Favorite reality shows.
A
Good one, Probably Love Island.
B
It's so good. Are you watching the season?
A
I'm like, I'm so bad at committing to watching every episode.
B
It's hard.
A
But I think you don't. The good thing about Love island is you don't need to watch every episode.
B
Yeah.
A
You kind of, like, see everything on Tick Tock that you need to see. So. Yeah, I've been watching, like, here and there. I haven't. I haven't caught up on the last few episodes. That's like, my adult show. It's so good, like, at night. You're just like, yeah, I have it on the background.
B
And while I'm getting ready again, I'm an iPad kid.
A
Right.
B
Ultimate pump up song.
A
Ooh, I've been listening to that Tik Tok song. It's called, like, Naked by. And it's like, all she want to do is get naked.
B
I don't scroll on. On social media.
A
That. Or, like, anything, like, ludicrous. Lil Wayne. Yeah, like, anything that I'm like, was rapping when I was, like, 16. If I throw that on now, I'm like, right now.
B
I listened to at the gym this morning, and I was like, damn, this is a good song. Truffle Butter by Nicki Minaj, Drake, and Lil Wayne.
A
So good. Good.
B
Yeah. Butter on your. In the morning.
A
Yeah. Anything that, like, throws me back to, like, a high school party. And I'm like, you know, like, twerking in, like, the living room of someone's house. Like, that's immediately, like. I'm like, I'm hyped up.
B
I think about me, like, in my peachy cruiser, driving a Taco Bell on my lunch break at Red Mountain High School, and I was like, like, shove a butt on your. Like, no. No reason to be listening to that.
A
Or, like, Rock City, like, City Money
B
Trees by Kendrick Lamar.
A
So there's so many. There's so many. I could just, like, list them all.
B
Good taste in music.
A
Thank you.
B
Okay, who got the best edit in Calabasas Confidential?
A
Oh, good question. Who came off really well? I feel like Preston.
B
He's cute.
A
I love Preston. Yeah. I think he. He was, like, a great mix of, like, being in the drama, but also being vulnerable and being himself and very likable.
B
Yeah.
A
I think he looks really good in the show.
B
I agree.
A
And he's so sweet. I love him.
B
Well, I'm obsessed with you. I think we should hang out.
A
I know. Well, now that I know we're neighbors.
B
Yeah.
A
I'm telling you, I'm gonna be stalking you at the Calabasas Farmers Market.
B
Oh, I'll be there. And I'm like, oh, hey, I hope you get that apartment.
A
Thank you.
B
Because then we'll, like.
A
Then we'll be extra close. Extra close. Yeah.
B
And then when the commons are done. Yeah.
A
In like, a million years.
B
Well, where can everyone find you on social media?
A
Yes, you can find me on Instagram. It's. It's a horrible username, but it's at Rain two E's underscore M. Don't know why I made it that when I gotta change. We Gotta change it. We're figuring it out. I think if you type in Rain Michaels, you can find it.
B
Yeah. Okay.
A
And then tick tock, Rain Michaels. I think my username is Rain. Like the weather. Oh, that's cute. Yeah. Don't Instagram help. Help. Yeah, help me.
B
No, you can. You can try to find, like.
A
No, because it's. I've tried, and I'm like, it just like, why did I put two E's when I was 12?
B
I still have two Y's on my name because I can't get.
A
Everyone's like, rainy. I'm like, no, no, no. It's Rain.
B
Well, I'm obsessed with you. Thank you for being here.
A
Thank you so much.
B
This is so fun.
A
I know. I'm like, I could sit here forever. I'm like, just keep talking.
B
Jazzy will cut me out.
A
I know. She's like, get out. Wrap it up.
B
I hope for season two.
A
Thank you.
B
It was a pleasure to watch you so much, and it was so nice to meet you.
A
So nice to meet you.
B
You.
A
