Also staying on the train of red light therapy. I had a company send me a red light therapy Matt. Like it almost looks like a workout mat that you can lay on. I'm not going to lie to you. I opened it up and I was like, should we just like give it to my mom or like who are we going to give this to? Because I'm never going to use it. And David was like, well let me look this up. It was eleven hundred dollars. And I was like, okay, we got to, we got to look into this. David and I are obsessed with it. David uses it almost nightly before bed. And I had someone message me saying that it's incredible for anxiety relief and relaxation to like wind down before bed. And it really is. It's incredible. So if you have a hard time sleeping or falling asleep or you're a very anxious person, like I am a red light therapy mat is incredible for that. So listen, apparently I'm red light therapy obsessed recently because it's been my thing. All right, Next thing, my heated blanket. I don't know what it is but again, it's like the little joys in life. Also my husband, such a sweet angel. I will go and take my shower at night after the kids are down. That's like my wind down time. I'll do my skin care and he always has my heated blanket turned on and ready for me. And I get in that bed and it is so toasty warm. It's like crawling into the sheets with a warm hug. It's just incredible. It's just from Amazon. Like I just, I don't know, I bought it on Amazon and it's amazing. I got a big giant one and I'll take it all over the house with me. I'll take it upstairs, sit on the couch with it, keep it downstairs, sleep with it, I travel with it. I don't give a. I'm obsessed with it. And listen, after I get out of the shower and I put lotion on, I'm really chilly. And so to be able to crawl into a warm bed, especially when it's chilly outside is incredible. I will say the weather is getting a little bit warmer. So I don't think I'm going to be using it during the summer time. But during the winter months that thing is a game changer because I run very cold. I run very, very cold. A heated blanket is where it's at. It's funny because David actually talks about my heated blanket and now he pulls that to his side of the bed and I'm like, you know what you should have told me. Get a bigger one or get your own little blanket thief. A next favorite item, which honestly I've been obsessed with for probably like two or three years if you followed me for a while. But my non prescription glasses, that's what I'm wearing right now. So I'm a contact where I do have lots of prescription glasses. But I feel like if I wear glasses for too long of a period of time, like especially if I'm not wearing my contacts, I have to wear my glasses all day long because I quite literally can't see anything and I'll get a headache because my vision's so blurry. But if I have glasses on my face for too long then I'll also get a headache. So I just tend to wear my contacts every day. But a good non prescription glasses, these are Heaven Mayhem, which are one of my favorite brands. But there's tons of different brands on Amazon. They can be blue light or not. These are not blue light that I'm wearing on my face if you're watching. But I do have a bunch of blue light that are really, really cute and like between 10 and 15 bucks on Amazon. The reason why I like it is number one, I don't want to take my contacts out to wear my prescription glasses just for a look. Okay, not going to do it. And I also wear daily contacts so it's like flushing $5 down the drain. That's fudgeing crazy. Number two, on a day where I'm lazy and don't want to wear makeup because I am a skin care ho. Okay, you guys know I'm obsessed with my skin and the key to having great skin in my eyes is don't wear makeup every day. Truly. But I also have a job where I like want to feel my best and be presentable and there's days I don't want to wear makeup but I still want to feel put together. Like tonight. Again, it's almost 10pm I do not have any makeup on my face aside from aside from some lip liner So I throw on some non prescription glasses and it brings a little bit of confidence. It kind of hides your, you know, sleepy non makeup eyes, but it makes me feel accessorized and a little more put together. And there's sometimes outfits I'll put on and I'm like, this would look so much cuter with glasses. So I'll throw on some non prescription glasses and you don't need to have anything expensive. Again, I have so many favorites from Amazon. Like some really cute little blue light mew mew dupe frames. So, so cute. Such a good accessory doesn't break the bank and hides your sleepy eyes when you don't want to wear makeup. My haters love the fact that I wear eye masks. My under eye masks are everyone's favorite. And I'll tell you, I don't give a single that people talk about that. I will wear those seven days a week. And I do, I literally do. To the point where my Pilates studio started making under eye patches because I was telling her that they would sell well. Because I walk into Pilates or my personal training every single day. I work out six days a week and every single day I have my under eye masks on. So essentially the little under eye patches, you guys, I don't wear them for like show or because I'm being paid by a brand to wear them. I just am obsessed with them. They're cooling the brands that I wear, which my top favorites are luxe, unfiltered and road because they don't slip down. I also love the Peter Thomas Roth ones, like the gold ones, but the gel can sometimes like slip down. So when I'm on the go, dropping the kids off at school, I have the luxe, unfiltered or the road ones on and I pay. I buy them with my own money, you guys. Like, yes, I'm on their pr, but I use them so much that I have to restock myself. And I'm so obsessed that I buy them, I put them in the refrigerator. They are so cooling. You wake up puffy. And then you put them on. And after like 30 minutes to an hour, you pull them off and you're like, I'm awake, I'm revitalized. There's no better feeling than that. And honestly, when you're having a day where you're like, oh my God, my under eyes are so puffy, I'm feeling the uglies. Put those on. It does give you a little boost of confidence. I'm not gonna lie to you. If you it kind of hides that dark under eye bag that you get in the morning. At least I do that. In combination with a good pair of sunnies and a lip liner, you're good to go, babe. You look like you're. You're up and ready for your hot yoga. I'm obsessed with under eye masks. I don't care who knows it. I'll scream it from the rooftops. And I was walking to Pilates one day and the owner of the Pilates studio was like, do you actually like those? And I was like, yeah, I literally wear them every day. I'm obsessed with them. And she's like, I was thinking about making some for the studio. And I was like, you should. And she literally made some. And they're in the refrigerator in the pilates studio that you can buy because they're just a vibe. And I love to see it. I love to see it. Another thing I've been loving lately, and it's truly the reason why I feel like my skin has never been in better shape, is regular facials. I know, you know, people assume I'm like, super materialistic and I, like, do all these services I really don't like. I love to look, I love to spend coin on some stuff that I enjoy. But, like, I don't do regular facials, I don't do regular massages, I don't do regular pedicures. Like, I was just looking at my toenails and they are so, so wrecked. It's one of those things where it's like, I would rather spend time doing something else or like spending time with my kids or working that it's hard for me to sit still for that long. That's another reason why I love doing my own press on nails is because it's so quick and easy. I'm not stuck at a nail salon for two hours. But I did start doing regular facials, and it has completely changed the game for me. I feel like my skin has never been more consistently clear, hydrated, plump, smaller pores, and you don't need to get like some crazy facial where you're spending hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of dollars. But like having a skin care expert treat you, give you a little self care. And also, like, I have found so many new products from my esthetician I'm so grateful for, which is when I want to get into my next favorite, retinol. You guys, I've never used retinol and I'm turning 31 this year and all of my beauty friends that are obsessed with skincare and beauty like I am, were like, avery, what the are you doing? You need to use retinol. So I started using retinol. I use it, like, every two to three nights on my skin. Never looked better. Never looked better. And I might be getting older by the day, but I'm going to be looking younger by the day. Do you know what I'm saying? Because of little things like that, like including retinol into my routine. Game changer. Okay, I have four more categories of things I want to go through. Number one, beauty products. There's two beauty products that stand out to me that are an absolute obsession at the moment, that are new products that I've recently integrated into my routine that I literally can't get enough of. And they're the two products that I'm like, how have I lived this long without them? Number one, you guys know I don't wear foundation. I don't like a heavy base on my skin. Again, skincare obsessed. I want my skin to breathe. The Merit tinted sunscreen is incredible. Quite literally incredible. And again, like, this is an item that I was in Sephora and it caught my eye, and I saw people talking about it, and I'm a big SPF girly. And if there's a product that has spf, gives me an even skin tone and I can rub it in with my fingers, that's the product for me. And the Merit tinted SPF has SPF 45 in it, which is actually extremely high for a tinted sunscreen. It's. Oh, I can't even describe it to you. It's so glowy. I rub it in with my fingers. A little teeny, tiny bit goes the longest way. There's an incredible shade range. I'm just obsessed. It's my everyday base. It's so amazing. It does not break me out. Been loving that. Number two, which is a new beauty product that has recently come out. So, again, if you watch any of my makeup videos, and you know, I'm obsessed with the brown YSL mascara. Whitney Simmons, my bestie, got me hooked on that. I love brown mascara. I have greenish hazel eyes, so it just complements my. My eye color, my skin tone very well. I think black is a little too harsh for my lashes, so. And the other thing, too, is, like, I would say I wear mascara probably less than 50% of the time. My lashes are so long, thanks to Babe Lash. And so I'll usually just curl my lashes and leave them as is. I will not add mascara because, A, I'm lazy, and B, sometimes I just feel like I want a softer look and I don't need it. So when I do our mascara, that's why I like brown, because it's so much softer. And so Whitney got me hooked to the YSL brown mascara. I love it so much. I've repurchased it a million times. But it's obviously YSL beauty, so it's a little more pricey. Then I get a PR package in the mail from Rare Beauty and I'm obsessed with their mascara, by the way. I just am not a big black mascara girly. So I get a PR package in the mail. Oh, it's their iconic mascara formula in brown. It blew my mind. It honestly blew my mind when I used it. It made my lashes so long, so thick and full and it didn't transfer anywhere. It didn't smear. It stayed on all night long. I actually went to Arizona to surprise my best friend for her birthday. We went to dinner and a speakeasy after my makeup was on all night long, literally. That mascara did not budge. It did not flake. My lashes stayed curled even though it's not waterproof. Incredible mascara. Absolutely obsessed. I want to mention to quick little fashion favorites that I've been obsessed with. One is, I don't know if I would consider it a trend. I haven't really seen it super trendy. I guess a little bit. I have made it my entire personality and that is layering a cardigan with a workout set. Listen, I'm on the go, okay? I'm constantly moving my my Monday through Friday, no joke. As I wake up at 6, I sometimes 6:30 depending on me hitting snooze. You know, I get myself up ready for the day, get my kids dressed and ready, drop them off at school, and then I go straight to my workout. And usually from my workout, I'll go run some errands, I'll do some meetings, get some editing or filming done. And so I'm in a workout set from like 6am till at least noon, sometimes later. And I won't get fully ready for the day until like 1 o' clock where I'll change like into a normal outfit. So I have to be able to be fluid in what I'm wearing, if that makes sense. Like I love to be able to go from Pilates or a workout to run errands and like throw a cute little cardi on and feel confident and like put together. And so instead of using like a baggy sweatshirt or like an oversized hoodie or a little zip workout Jacket, a cardigan kind of just elevates it just a little tiny bit. And another thing I've been loving as well is I'll bring a pair of flats with me. So obviously Pilates is different because you're working out in grip socks anyways. But like when I'm lifting, obviously I'm in socks and tennis shoes, but switching out my shoes or my pilates socks with a pair of ballet flats and then wearing a cute little cardigan with a workout set. It's so elevated, it's literally elevating your workout set. And I think it's really cute and fun. And also you get multi use out of it. A sweatset's a sweatset, a sweatshirt's a sweatshirt. But a cardigan, a cardigan you can wear with a cute little workout set, but you also have the option to wear it with a cute pair of high waisted jeans with some leggings, with a dress with a skirt and a tank top. Like you're gonna get so much use out of a cardigan. Another thing too, doing one singular top button with a cute little sports bra. High waisted leggings, so hot. Or if you want to change out the workout set, you can fully button your cardigan, wear it with the jeans and some loafers. Obsessed. Second fashion item I want to talk about is my newest bag purchase from Ralph Lauren. So actually just Ralph Lauren in general I am a bit obsessed with. I'm also like, Carolyn Bessette Kennedy is really taking over my life. So if, if you know me personally, you know I love Jackie O. I've loved her the majority of my life. Same with Princess Diana. I think they are just absolute icons. I admire them in so many different ways and obviously their fashion sense is iconic. Like they have set so many trends and broken through so many glass ceilings for women in outside of fashion, in fashion, you name it. But obviously I'm watching Love Story as everyone else is on Hulu about JFK Jr. And Carolyn Bessette Kennedy. It's an incredible show if you have not watched it. But her fashion's amazing and she gives very. Obviously she was a publicist for Calvin Klein, but she also gives very Ralph Lauren vibes. And I recently, you know, Kai caved and I got those bear sweaters. I did. I know I hate myself for it. But we're going to Paris and so I was investing in some like cute, practical outfits. And also those bare knit sweaters I feel like I will pass down to Stevie when she's older because they are an investment piece. But the whole point of me talking about Ralph Lauren is I purchased a bag from them. I saw this bag on Pinterest. It was one of the only times ever I saw a picture of this bag and I scoured the Internet and was like, whatever has this bag in stock, I'm ordering it immediately. It was sold out on the Ralph Lauren website. I found it on Neiman Marcus. The colorway on the Ralph Lauren website was very monochromatic. It was like the light brown suede with the light brown leather. But I like the light brown suede suede with the dark chocolate leather. It's like a oversized saddle bag that's suede with leather accents. It holds so much and that's what I love about it. And yes, Ralph Lauren's expensive. Do not get me wrong, it's not a cheap bag, but it's probably a quarter of the price of a high end designer bag of that size and quality. Like if I walked into Louis Vuitton to try to buy that bag and it would be four times the cost. So am I saying it's cheap? No, no, no, not at all. But for the quality it is a much lower price than a designer bag. It's such a beautiful bag. I'm so excited to style it and I just feel like it's giving very Carolyn Bessette Kennedy and I really, really love her.
