Todd Chrisley
Welcome to Chrisley Confessions 2.0. I'm Todd and this is Julie. Julie is preoccupied right now, but I'm wanting to get on with the day. So welcome. How are you, darling?
Julie Chrisley
I'm well.
Todd Chrisley
Good, good. Did you get everything done on your phone?
Julie Chrisley
I did, I did. I was just looking up something that just came in last minute. I want to make sure that I'm fact checking everything that I. Oh, well, unlike you who just lets it roll and then we pick up the pieces later.
Todd Chrisley
Well, I don't normally say shit about people unless I know it's true.
Julie Chrisley
Okay, okay.
Todd Chrisley
If I say you're a piece of shit, you're a piece of shit. And that's my opinion.
Julie Chrisley
My gosh, why do you have to go there?
Todd Chrisley
Listen, I'm going to Be on my best Christlike behavior today until someone pulls me out of that. So that would be you. So if I step outside of that.
Julie Chrisley
Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. That. We're not going to do that. Because first of all, I do not have that kind of control over you or anyone else. You are in control of what you say and how you act. No one else. You're not. This is not about me. I'm not making you act a certain way or making you say certain things. Not going there.
Todd Chrisley
Okay, folks, on that note, I'll just tell you to go straight. All right, so what are we going to talk about today? Because we've had a lot of moving parts.
Julie Chrisley
We have had a lot of moving parts. We have been traveling. You've been traveling more so than I.
Todd Chrisley
Right.
Julie Chrisley
But we both still been traveling, so. Which is a good thing. Listen, I'm grateful to be able to travel. I'm grateful to be able to. To move around, you know?
Todd Chrisley
And you are. Yeah. That is a blessing, folks.
Julie Chrisley
Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
So you're going to. On a trip with my mother.
Julie Chrisley
Yes.
Todd Chrisley
This weekend for a wedding.
Julie Chrisley
Yes.
Todd Chrisley
Which just happens to be being held in a casino.
Julie Chrisley
Yes, it does. So, yes, I'm happy to be able to. To go with her. Yes, I am. I am. And I'm actually gonna see a friend of mine who is at a halfway house in St. Louis.
Todd Chrisley
Oh, okay.
Julie Chrisley
So I'm excited about that. I'm gonna see her Saturday morning for a couple hours. Yes. I'm gonna catch up.
Todd Chrisley
Is this a friend of yours or like a girlfriend kind of friend?
Julie Chrisley
Why do you. Why? Why?
Todd Chrisley
Well, I was just wanting to know. You were there for 28 months. I just wanted to know if they peeled the peach or not.
Julie Chrisley
If you were years. Just not. What if you're into that. Okay. More power to you. I'm personally not, so it doesn't matter how long I was there.
Todd Chrisley
So no one touched your kitty cat?
Julie Chrisley
No, they didn't.
Todd Chrisley
Okay. Just wanting to know. So you're going to go do that? Yes, and then I'm leaving for LA tomorrow.
Julie Chrisley
Yes.
Todd Chrisley
And then I've got a full week after that.
Julie Chrisley
You're going to be recording the new podcast with you and the boys?
Todd Chrisley
Yes. So I have that called. Two Sons and Me. Two Sons and Me, which is doing very, very. Thank goodness.
Julie Chrisley
And I haven't actually listened yet. I'm a little nervous to listen.
Todd Chrisley
Well, you should be, because your children have a foul mouth.
Julie Chrisley
Oh, yeah. They get that from me.
Todd Chrisley
And so I'm doing my best to try to reel them in, to try to get them closer to the Lord and to try to just purge of the Hughes DNA.
Julie Chrisley
I'm sure that you are engaging this.
Todd Chrisley
I don't say to them to make them cuss, Todd. They're the ones that realize it. You're.
Julie Chrisley
That's where they get it from. Like, please, y'. All. Lord have mercy.
Todd Chrisley
I read. I read that people that curse a lot are highly intelligent. So that means that our children are geniuses.
Julie Chrisley
Well, we know that's not true. So that.
Todd Chrisley
So that's.
Julie Chrisley
We can debunk that whole philosophy right there if that's. Nope.
Todd Chrisley
Well, maybe it applies for just me because I.
Julie Chrisley
We can debunk that whole philosophy right there.
Todd Chrisley
So at any rate, since you're trying to throw shade.
Julie Chrisley
I'm not trying to.
Todd Chrisley
Yeah, you are. You messy as hell.
Julie Chrisley
I'm not trying to throw shade at all.
Todd Chrisley
So tell me, because you keep up on all the current events.
Julie Chrisley
Yes. Well, I mean, I think our current events have been shocking. I mean, the biggest one I think we have to talk about is what happened at the White House Correspondent's Dinner.
Todd Chrisley
This is the. And folks, what you may not know is that we were at Mar A Lago on Saturday. I received an award for criminal justice reform. And you looked stunning.
Julie Chrisley
Thank you.
Todd Chrisley
So did Savannah.
Julie Chrisley
Thank you.
Todd Chrisley
I was so honored and blessed to be had to have each one of them, one on each arm. And it was.
Julie Chrisley
This was through the Jack Brewer Foundation.
Todd Chrisley
Right.
Julie Chrisley
Which we met so many amazing people that. From all different walks of life.
Todd Chrisley
Right.
Julie Chrisley
Who are truly making it there.
Todd Chrisley
And what life's mission. Yes. And what is so amazing to me is that President Trump has all of this bad stuff that's said about him. And I'm not going to sit here and say that every decision that we make is the right decision.
Julie Chrisley
Right.
Todd Chrisley
And. But President Trump gets this huge rap that he's racist. But yet Mar A Lago was full of African American or people of color when we were there on Saturday.
Julie Chrisley
Where we were, where we were, it was. It was a very diverse group of people from all walks of life.
Todd Chrisley
Right. And so I thought to myself, and as I'm watching this, that if the world, if the outside world could see what is inside these walls right now,
Julie Chrisley
the makeup of that room.
Todd Chrisley
The makeup of the room. And you and I spoke about that, you know, when I was doing my speec, that if the world and the press really reported on that.
Julie Chrisley
Right.
Todd Chrisley
It could tamper down a lot of this.
Julie Chrisley
The press doesn't want that because they
Todd Chrisley
don't want the truth.
Julie Chrisley
That's not what sells.
Todd Chrisley
They don't want the truth.
Julie Chrisley
That doesn't sell.
Todd Chrisley
And we know that because a lie will make it halfway around the world before you can ever get out of bed.
Julie Chrisley
Before the truth will get out of bed.
Todd Chrisley
Well, exactly. And so I just feel like that it was a wonderful week. It was a wonderful opportunity, and I was blessed to be able to get that award. But then that happened.
Julie Chrisley
I know.
Todd Chrisley
And I'm thinking to myself, what is really going on in this world?
Julie Chrisley
I know.
Todd Chrisley
And, folks, I want to be very clear that if I love you, I love you. It doesn't matter what the color of your skin is. It doesn't matter what your educational background is, how much money you have, who you vote for. You can attest to that. Because the people that I.
Julie Chrisley
What, you sleep with? Nothing.
Todd Chrisley
No, I don't care. I mean, back in the day, I'd have probably slept with you or at least half of you. But now I'm a gentleman. But I just feel like that there is so much divide because that's what. That's what both sides want. Because if they can keep chaos and, you know, the house is burning, right, then everyone focuses on the house burning.
Julie Chrisley
Right.
Todd Chrisley
Not on who set it on fire.
Julie Chrisley
Right.
Todd Chrisley
And I don't want to. I don't want to be a part
Julie Chrisley
of that, but I do feel like that after this happened in D.C. i know some of the news outlets were talking about how when they were asking President Trump, you know, questions that it kind of had a different tone. You know, people seem to be a little more coming together, not so, like, constantly giving him down the road. And I heard someone say President Trump is not afraid of the hard questions. He just wants fair.
Todd Chrisley
Right.
Julie Chrisley
Fair questions, you know, like. And whether you believe that or not. Okay, it sounds good. I mean, sounds. Makes sense to me. But they were saying how the media was. Seemed to be a little more like, let's come together, let's. Because there were people from all walks of life in that. In that room, in that room, you know, there. You know, and so I did like that part of it. I actually saw where Caroline Levitt, she has. She was supposed to be on maternity leave after that dinner, and she's now extended her maternity leave. You know, she's not leaving for maternity leave right now, and she's getting ready to have a baby any minute. But just because of everything that's going on right now, I think that about.
Todd Chrisley
I didn't know that but she's.
Julie Chrisley
Yeah, she's, she's.
Todd Chrisley
She's like you. She's like until the day she has.
Julie Chrisley
She. She's just unbelievable.
Todd Chrisley
I think that for me, when I listen to, to what you just said, that there is so much of the pitting, one against the other that has caused the whole world to catch on fire. And you know, and again, for me, folks, I don't care what you do in the privacy of your bedroom. I don't care who you're friends with, don't care how you vote. I care about how you treat me, how you treat mine, and how I witness you treating other people. Well.
Julie Chrisley
And I listened to another interview and they were talking about this alleged suspect, the suspect that they have in custody and how he doesn't really fit the mold because it wasn't like he was some. He was very, very well educated. He was a tutor, he was a teacher for God's sake. He was like a productive member of society based off of this interview. So he wasn't just like in his parents basem, you know, but they were the whole part of me saying that it was that they were saying that this is something that is learned, this hate that keeps spewing and it's pouring into people just over time. It's sticking. Obviously it's sticking or we wouldn't be having the crazy things that are happening now happen, you know? So I just thought that was an interesting perspective, like it's not just a bad person that, that this hate is being poured, continuously poured into people. And unfortunately this what happens when, when you do that. I've been doing a little spring reset with my closet lately, focusing more on quality over quantity. Just building a wardrobe of pieces that are well made, versatile, and easy to reach for every day. That's why I keep coming back to Quint. The fabrics feel elevated, the fits are thoughtful, and the pricing actually makes sense. Quint makes beautiful everyday pieces using premium materials like 100% European linen, organic cotton, and super soft denim with styles starting around $50. Their spring pieces are lightweight, breathable and effortless. The kind of things you can throw on and instantly look put together. And that same focus on materials carries over into their accessories, like their leather bags, which are from 100% hand woven Italian leather and honestly look way more expensive than they are. Quince works directly with ethical factories and cuts out the middleman. So you're paying for quality, not brand markup. I have talked about Quince so many times and I right now am loving their linen pieces. I love a Good linen pant, a good linen top. The fabrics feel substantial but still easy to wear and they don't cost what you think linen would cost. So I am loving my linen pieces and I will be rocking those all spring and summer long. Refresh your spring wardrobe with quince. Go to quince.comchrisley for free shipping and 365 day returns. Now available in Canada too. Go to quincy.comchrisley for free Shipping and 365 day returns. Todd Chrisley
It's almost like you're gaslighting the world.
Julie Chrisley
Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
Both sides are gaslighting each other.
Julie Chrisley
Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
And when you, and you talk about, you know, that it was, it's been tampered down a little bit, you know, all the rhetoric, you know, with what has happened with this last shooting, but this attempt, our attempted last shooting. She tries to be so politically correct.
Julie Chrisley
Well, because we don't have, I mean, listen, it's a, it's an attempt. Nobody. Yes, the Secret Service was shot, but he's fine, perfectly fine. He had a bulletproof vest on. And people are innocent until proven guilty.
Todd Chrisley
Not necessarily.
Julie Chrisley
Well, I'm just saying.
Todd Chrisley
But you know, going back to the gaslighting, at the end of the day, I don't think that it has anything to do with that. The press is now kind of taking a step back and wanting to analyze things. I think that it has more to do with the people of America, of this country, starting to realize that they're being fed bullshit by the press.
Julie Chrisley
Right. Well, I don't, I don't know that we can go that far. Like this was Just one instance when after this happened and President Trump addressed everyone and he took questions, everybody was kind of playing nice. That doesn't mean that they're going to continue to play nice. We know that can change in the moment.
Todd Chrisley
Well, I mean, a prime example was Wolf Blitzer. I mean, I thought the man was dead. I didn't even know he was still alive. But he was there at this dinner and he gave a whole blown up, exaggerated version of what happened. The way that he explained it. No, everyone says he's lying. I mean, that's a big deal right now. What? Check it right now and see if Wolf Blitzer's story was true.
Julie Chrisley
That's crazy.
Todd Chrisley
But he went on, he went on the news, did an interview and told this whole concocted story that was nothing like the actual events that took place. Now, folks, that's what they're feeding us. That's what, when we go on the news, that these people that. Because when I was growing up, you know, you had Walter Cronkite eyebrows, you had Dan Rather, Tom Brokaw, Tom Brokaw. You had Barbara Walters, you know, you had real journalists, right? You know, Leslie Abrams, you know, all of that whole, that whole group that was like, noted for credibility, right? And now we've got. For shit, that's what we've got. We've got people that are pandering to the camera that wants to be a celebrity. They're no longer wanting to be interested in being a journalist. They're interested in being a celebrity because the celebrity is what generates the higher number that they get on their contract. Not the journalistic value.
Julie Chrisley
Right.
Todd Chrisley
It's the shock way.
Julie Chrisley
Right.
Todd Chrisley
And, well, and some.
Julie Chrisley
Yeah, I agree. I agree.
Todd Chrisley
And so, you know, for me, I don't believe, I don't listen to none of that shit. I'm going to do my research before I even form an opinion on it. And it's hard for me, you know, yourself, I get so upset. I mean, we're talking about. Let's just talk about this funky ass Swalwell who I can't stand, but everyone on the Hill knew that he was up there being nasty and messy. They knew that he was having sex with these girls up there that was much younger than him behind his wife's back. But yet he wants to step down and he's going to fight this with everything in his being. Mm. Mm. You just walked away from all of your positions in Congress because you want to fight this for the truth to come out. No, you don't, Eric. You got Fang fanged. So we ain't trusting nothing that you say after you got Fang fanged. We're not. We're not doing that because you laid down with a Chinese spy.
Julie Chrisley
Oh, my gosh.
Todd Chrisley
Then the other one from Texas, he was messing around with that woman that was on his team, and she set herself on fire. Yeah, yo, Google that. Since you like to be on top of everything. She committed.
Julie Chrisley
That's horrible.
Todd Chrisley
By setting herself on fire. But he was still running to keep his seat. So the way that we do things, you know, in government, folks, is we say, okay, how many degenerates do we have on the right side and how many do we have on the left side? So let's go into a private room, and let's barter here. I will take your 100, and we'll take yours over here for 200. We'll get rid of these. And then you lost one. We lost one. Power doesn't really shift, but we now have acknowledged that there's enough bad shit there.
Julie Chrisley
Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
That we can't. That we can't sustain this. We cannot uphold it.
Julie Chrisley
Right.
Todd Chrisley
Because the whole thing with Eric Swalwell, his whole party, the same ones that had upheld him with Fang, Fang, cockeyed Nancy, you know, she was. She defended him through that whole thing. First one said, got to go. Got to go. I can't even believe this woman still got a pulse, let alone be trying to control what's going on there. But she's. First one said, he's got to go. Hakeem Jeffries first came out and said, now they were best buddies. Got to go. That's how there's no loyalty.
Julie Chrisley
But don't you feel like that's how most people are in this world? They're. They're good. They're good. And they're going to skin and grin with you until you don't feed their narrative, until you don't help them get to the next spot. And then they're so willing to throw you away, just like.
Todd Chrisley
Absolutely. And you. And then we lost one in the Republican. On the Republican side because that chick decided to embezzle money from the government and go buy her a diamond ring.
Julie Chrisley
Oh, my gosh.
American Express Advertiser
There.
Julie Chrisley
That's crazy.
Todd Chrisley
You can't make this shit.
Julie Chrisley
I know.
Todd Chrisley
And so now she is out. And yet they're the ones passing laws.
Julie Chrisley
I know.
Todd Chrisley
While they're violating every one of them.
Julie Chrisley
Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
And then you got that crazy. That ratchet ass heifer. What's her name? Omar Ilhan. Omar. Whatever. The thief from Minnesota. You Got her. And then you ask her a question. I love this, folks. If you see it on Instagram, it's this reporter and she has long kind of auburn hair and she always catches this Ilhan Omar going through the chamber and are the hallways. And she says, don't you think that people, that the public wants to know how you have amassed a 30 million dollar wealth? And she goes, I've already answered that. And the reporter says, but have you answered it to the people? She said, I've already answered. She goes, no, you haven't. And she said, I don't need to deal with your bullshit. That's who's talking about that. Who's going in there and casting a vote on how our country's going to be ran.
Julie Chrisley
Yeah, I know, it's crazy. It's crazy.
Todd Chrisley
I just look at this stuff and I'm like, is this really happening? Because I feel like it's part of the Twilight Zone.
Julie Chrisley
Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
That we're living in. Because, you know, I was talking to a friend of mine yesterday that we was in the car when I said in my lifetime. Now I don't remember, you know, the whole thing with Kennedy, but he was assassinated. And then you had Ronald Reagan. That was in my lifetime. That was it. We trying to pick off presidents every day now. 2026, we're picking off presidents.
Julie Chrisley
Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
And none of this makes sense to me that we have fallen to this level in our country and in our work and in the world.
Julie Chrisley
Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
That violence becomes the accepted norm.
Julie Chrisley
Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
And there is no good to come.
Julie Chrisley
Because you know, if you're being 100% honest, what happened was absolutely horrible the other night. But it didn't affect you like the first time. Like say like in Pennsylvania when that happened, that was like, oh my gosh. But then, you know, you had down on the golf course and you had, you know, all. You had these different times. So every time you become desensitized to it and it's like, like, oh, it's horrible, but okay, it's just another time, you know, like. And we shouldn't be that way. But first of all, it shouldn't be happening. But second of all, we sure should not be so desensitized to things.
Todd Chrisley
But I think we should still be shocked of a certain thing and we're just not shocked over things anymore. The shock value is not there.
Julie Chrisley
Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
And I mean, you got people walking down the street saying they're cats, they furbles or whatever you call them, furries or whatever it is.
Julie Chrisley
And verbal, you say verbals Is that what they are? I don't think so. I don't think that's a word.
Todd Chrisley
What are they called? Laken?
Julie Chrisley
Furry Furries.
Todd Chrisley
Furry furries, y'. All. Not verbals.
Julie Chrisley
Not verbals.
Todd Chrisley
Furries. Whatever they are. I saw one the other day here in Nashville that had a tail hanging out of her blue jean shorts.
Julie Chrisley
Oh, okay.
Todd Chrisley
Yep. But guess what color her hair was.
Julie Chrisley
What?
Todd Chrisley
Purple. You can't trust a purple hair. It's everywhere you go. If you got one that's got purple hair and a nose ring, that's a freak, I don't give a damn what you say. I'm not retracting it. I'm not retracting it. If you're a grown woman and you color your hair purple and you got an anchor in your nose to be led around and you got a cattail coming out of your ass, something's wrong with you.
Julie Chrisley
Okay, I want to take a minute to share something really important to me, and that's Good Girl Rx, a female focused health and company created by my daughter Savannah. As women, we so often put everyone else first and ignore our own health, or we're just told to push through instead of being truly listened to. What I love about Good Girl Rx is that it's built around real medical care and compassion. Through their telehealth platform, women can meet virtually with licensed medical providers who take the time to review your health history and goals. If it's clinically appropriate, your provider may discuss personalized treatment options, including GLP1 medication like tirzepatide, as well as wellness therapies such as nad. Everything is determined by a doctor and tailored to the individual. As a mother, it means everything to me that this company was created to help women feel supported instead of judged. Everyone's journey is different, results vary, and not everyone qualifies. But having access to licensed physicians who truly listen can make all the difference. If you're ready to take a step toward prioritizing your health, visit goodgirlrx.com and use code CONFESSIONS15 for 15% off at checkout. Medical care is provided by licensed physicians.

My name is Mackenzie, and I started a GoFundMe for the adoptive mother of a nonverbal autistic child. The mother had lost her job because she wasn't able to find adequate care for this autistic child. So she really needed some help with living expenses, paying some back bills. So I launched a GoFundMe to help support them during this crisis, and we raised about $10,000 within just a Couple of months. I think that the surprising thing was by telling a clear story and just like really being very clear about what we needed, we had some really generous donations from people who were really moved by the situation that this family was struggling with.

But I want to talk about, I want to shift gears just a little bit. So Savannah and I were in Ohio this past week and it was long two days, but it was so good. She spoke at the Ohio State University for a Turning Point event. And it was, it was so. She was so good. I would urge you folks to go out there and listen to her speech at, at the, the Ohio State University because she truly was talking to these kids about, you know, just how the big thing was is that she told them, I'm going to urge you to go and find the most liberal friend that you have, buy them a coffee and sit down with them. Not necessarily to try to convince them, but to a let them be heard.
Todd Chrisley
Right.
Julie Chrisley
And hopefully you will get that opportunity to be heard as well.
Todd Chrisley
Right.
Julie Chrisley
And she told the kids, she's like, and listen, I so strongly believe in this that you can, if you can find my vendor, you can Venmo me and I will send you money for coffee. And you would not believe, we were just reading through as she's Venmo and these kids, you know, to buy coffee for my liberal mother, to buy coffee for my liberal sister, my liberal roommate, whatever.
Todd Chrisley
So Savannah bought coffee for liberals.
Julie Chrisley
Yeah, she did. Not just folks, but, but I thought it was just so interesting to even have that kind of thought provoking and action provoking conversation, you know, for her to say, you know, just try it.
Todd Chrisley
Right.
Julie Chrisley
See what happens.
Todd Chrisley
You know, I had seen that on Instagram where someone had posted a screenshot of Savannah and what she had said. And I, and again, folks, I have lots of proud moments for my daughter, but that, when that happened, you know what that meant to me.
Julie Chrisley
Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
Because what have I been saying for years, stop being so far over here.
Julie Chrisley
Right.
Todd Chrisley
Get to the middle.
Julie Chrisley
Right.
Todd Chrisley
And that was a moment when I saw that, that I kind of felt like she's hearing some things. There's things that she's seeing.
Julie Chrisley
And I've said this for so long that if you could just sit down and, and talk to someone and truly talk to them with an open heart.
Todd Chrisley
That's right.
Julie Chrisley
To listen. Because at the end of the day, I would dare say 99% of people, they just want to be heard.
Todd Chrisley
That's right. That's right. And you know what? If you could go into a room, if you. If you're in a hospital and you walk by a waiting room and you see someone crying, the first thing that comes to your mind should be, oh, my God, they've suffered a loss. How can I help them?
Julie Chrisley
Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
Not, are they a Democrat or are they Republican?
Julie Chrisley
Right, right.
Todd Chrisley
And I just. And, you know, I talk to people every day, all day long, and I. And you know that I have a lot. We have a lot of friends that are Democrats.
Julie Chrisley
Right.
Todd Chrisley
And. And we listen to each other. We have great, healthy conversations.
Julie Chrisley
Right.
Todd Chrisley
Some that. Some of them have said things to me that has caused me to say, you know, Julie, we should probably look at this a little bit differently.
Julie Chrisley
Right.
Todd Chrisley
You know, let me tell you what this person said.
Julie Chrisley
Right.
Todd Chrisley
And then some of them have said, you know what? The way that I now look at this is because of the way you handled that situation. And I'm not here for Republicans, for Democrats. I'm here for humanity. I'm here to be a good person, to be a kind person. If you let me now, I can get sideways, but only if you invite me. I want us to be good people, and I believe that the world consistently is full of good people if they're allowed to be good people. You can have a good person, but even a good person can be provoked only so much.
Julie Chrisley
Right? That's true.
Todd Chrisley
And you can't keep getting poked and poked and poked before you finally raise up and some will slap the shit out of you.
Julie Chrisley
Right, Right. But I did love that aspect of it. I love that, that she did that. Because, listen, in those turning point events, there are people that come to those turning point events that have a completely different agenda, look, and mindset than what, say, Savannah would have. Right. And that's really what Charlie wanted, was for everybody to be able to have a voice. Right. So I think that is continuing to follow the legacy that he set forth.
Todd Chrisley
I don't believe that anything will stand. I don't care what organization it is. I don't care what charity you're working for. None of that will ever be forever until you can look at everyone thinking that one day they can be a part of.
Julie Chrisley
Absolutely.
Todd Chrisley
And I think that that's where the whole world gets upside down, is that everyone wants to be A part of.
Julie Chrisley
Right.
Todd Chrisley
And I don't care what your faith is, what your, you know, where you come from or whatever. Everyone wants to be a part of something.
Julie Chrisley
Something. Right.
Todd Chrisley
And that we're supposed to be the melting pot. We're supposed to. I mean, we have the Statue of Liberty that says, bring us your tired and you're weary. And we, we as the United States of America, we need. Because we are the most powerful nation on earth. We need to be that beacon. We need to be that country that stands up and says, this is wrong.
Julie Chrisley
Right.
Todd Chrisley
We're going to do this for the right reasons. That's who we need to be. And that's who I always felt like growing up, that we were.
Julie Chrisley
Right.
Todd Chrisley
But so much has changed today, and,
Julie Chrisley
and a lot of it is because, you know, so much more.
Todd Chrisley
You know, I do think that that's it.
Julie Chrisley
I think growing up, and especially I think where we grew up, we. We grew up with very much. With blinders on.
Todd Chrisley
Yes.
Julie Chrisley
And you.
Todd Chrisley
And we were sheltered.
Julie Chrisley
No. And. And growing up as teenagers and stuff, we didn't get involved. Politics.
Todd Chrisley
That wasn't something that I can remember conversations in my family. The women didn't talk about politics.
Julie Chrisley
Right. And children sure didn't talk about it. So I think it's just, you know, when you know more, you, you know.
Todd Chrisley
Well, I think when you know better, you got to do better and be better. And I think we certainly know better. And, you know, we have to look at this. We have to look at where our country is as a whole right now and have a heart of compassion. Now, that doesn't mean open borders.
Julie Chrisley
Right.
Todd Chrisley
That doesn't mean that you can come here to our country and steal from the taxpayers and embezzle and do everything that Ill Ilhan Omar supposedly doesn't know anything about. It doesn't mean you can do that. It doesn't mean that you can run all these illegal hospices out in California under Gavin News scum. Doesn't mean you can do that. At the end of the day, we are our own worst enemies. We're sitting here talking about these, the Muslims that are coming in and the people from Nigeria and all these other countries that they're the bad people. Yes, there's a lot of bad people that's come into our country, but shit, we was running over bad people that was American citizens. Yeah. I mean, people in government's been robbing the taxpayers blind since the beginning of time.
Julie Chrisley
Right.
Todd Chrisley
So, you know, my thing. And I got to thinking about this the other day, so if you, it's like, it's like our country is, is the largest HOA association in the world. You pay the HOA to take care of the sidewalks and your yards and to do your plantings and whatever. And then every year they give you a budget and says, okay, this is now moved up just a little bit. So last year the plantings were fifteen hundred dollars per household. This year they're going to be 1725. Right. Congress is the, is running the HOA.
Julie Chrisley
Right.
Todd Chrisley
So they just throw any damn number they want to own it and say, homeowner, pay it. Yeah, pay it or we're going to put a lien against you. Pay it or we're going to seize your income tax. Pay it or we're going to seize. We're going to attach your payroll check. And that shouldn't be happening.
Julie Chrisley
Right.
Todd Chrisley
You are literally putting your money in a bank the, with the government and saying, piss it away however you want to. Folks, if I wanted my money to be pissed away, I got kids that can do that. They are just as good as the federal government at pissing away money. So I can let them do that. At least I know my kids are benefiting from.
Julie Chrisley
Right? Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
So I, I just think to myself that, but there's gotta be term limits in D.C. you can't have someone like Nancy Pelosi that has stayed there so long she's turned to stone. You cannot have people like her, like Chuck Schumer. I mean, he is the biggest shit stir and, and filled with such hypocrisy that, you know, and then you want to talk about Joe Biden, but yet no one wants to talk about the fact that the Republican Party actually is the one who went after the kkk and the Democratic Party was the ones who wanted to continue with slavery. And we want to forget that.
Julie Chrisley
Right?
Todd Chrisley
And we have a lot of, we have a lot of friends that are of color that we talk. They have these conversations with. And some of them knew that and are aware of it. And then others actually didn't know that they had to do their research to see that. And, and called me or text me and said, what in the hell is going on? What have I been voting for all these years? I just voted Democrat because that's what my family's always been. Well, that's. Again, you're not educating yourself. I don't need you. And listen, I trust you implicitly, but I don't trust everything you tell me. How many times have you told me something, I said, I got to see that yeah, yeah. No one's going. No one's going to feed me in the dark. I want to see what you're telling me that I'm going to go out here and talk about if that's true or not. How many times have we been filming and doing an interview and they say, well, you know, we want you to say, show me how many times.
Julie Chrisley
Yeah, it's true.
Todd Chrisley
You're not going to feed me in the dark. And I feel like that Congress feels like that they can feed us in the dark.
Julie Chrisley
Right.
Todd Chrisley
Us being the taxpayers.
Julie Chrisley
Right.
Todd Chrisley
I don't want to eat in the dark. I need the light on. I need to see what I mean, I need to see who's feeding me. I need to see who cooks, cooked it. And we need 100% transparency. But there's so many deals that are cut in these back rooms up there that, you know, okay, listen, I know your guy did this, but. But we also know your guy did this. Okay? So we're just going to do a wash on this. We're going to leave it alone, you know, because our hands aren't clean and your hands aren't clean.
Julie Chrisley
Right.
Todd Chrisley
We got to get to a place to where someone is elected in that office. That's for the people.
Julie Chrisley
Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
Not for the left or for the right. One set of rules.
Julie Chrisley
Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
One set of rules that we all have to go by. Because if we have one set of rules, you can't say we had one set of rules in our house with our kids growing up.
Julie Chrisley
Right.
Todd Chrisley
They never changed.
Julie Chrisley
Right.
Todd Chrisley
And what do they say now as adults?
Julie Chrisley
They're glad they did. They're glad that they had those rules.
Todd Chrisley
Grayson calls us repeatedly, says, dad, I am so glad for the way that I was raised.
Julie Chrisley
Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
I see kids here that literally have no respect for their parents, screaming at their mom on the phone, this, that, and the other. And I'm so grateful because I've said, do you understand that if I had ever done that to my mom or my dad, I'd have no teeth. It's because people don't have accountability anymore.
GoFundMe Advertiser
Right.
Todd Chrisley
And it's like I've told you yesterday, I said, no. What's happened in this country is that people have gotten leery about slapping the shit out of somebody.
Julie Chrisley
Right? Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
Because when I was growing up in South Carolina, you know that you were there.
Julie Chrisley
Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
If somebody come up on you running that mouth, what happened?
Julie Chrisley
Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
They got knocked out.
Julie Chrisley
Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
So y' all gotta Carolina these people when they come up on you, you gotta slap the piss out of them. Well, Todd, I know, I know you're gonna pray for that. You're a kinder.
Julie Chrisley
Let's talk about a lighter subject. What do you think about Megan the Stallion?
Todd Chrisley
Didn't I just say I don't know who that is when you asked me that earlier today?
Julie Chrisley
I know, but I just wanted to hear you say it on this podcast that you don't know who she is.
Todd Chrisley
I know she's a hip hop person or a rapper or something. Ain't she the one blew her toe off or got her toe blowed off or whatever? Is that who it is? Is that who it is?
Julie Chrisley
Yes. Yes, you're right.
Todd Chrisley
Okay.
Julie Chrisley
See, you're doing better than I thought. Okay, but so she was with. With Klay Thompson. He's a NBA player, right? And supposedly he cheated on her with a. With a WNBA player is what's going around. But I mean, yeah, like a women's NBA player. That's one of the things going around.
Todd Chrisley
But you chose a woman at 6ft tall and is out there sweating.
Julie Chrisley
Oh, I guess so. I don't. I don't really know what she looks like.
Todd Chrisley
Dated from the locker room, but this.
Julie Chrisley
Listen, they were really out there on social media, like, I think she got a Bentley maybe.
Todd Chrisley
So she got a Bentley out of it. She's got nine toes in a Bentley.
Julie Chrisley
She, you know, but then she came straight out and did a post and basically said, I'm gonna just. You gotta hear this. Because she didn't play around like, she. She told him she called him out. And I actually like this.
Todd Chrisley
You like it because the woman called the man out because he cheated, but the man that cheated, she knew what she got when she crawled into bed with him. He's an NBA player. So don't crawl in bed with a snake then, bitch when it bites you.
Julie Chrisley
Well, this is what she says. Trust, fidelity, and respect are non negotiable. For me, the right I said in a statement to People, Megan, Thee, stallion, seemingly accused Klay Thompson of cheating on her in an instant. On an Instagram story posted on April 25, she made the decision to end their relationship, explaining that trust, fidelity, and respect are non negotiables. Yeah,
Todd Chrisley
but see, I mean, I'm sorry, Stallion, about all that, but Megan, Megan, I'm sorry about all that. That. But, sweetie, you got your 10th toe blowed off because you was hanging with a crowd you shouldn't been hanging with. Second of all, you decided to date in a dating pool that is notorious for being man hoes.
Julie Chrisley
But this is what she Said cheating had me around your whole family playing house. Got cold feet. She wrote in her past on over. Over a black background and holding you down through all your horrible all caps, mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season. Now, you don't know if you can be monogamous, but he went and got
Todd Chrisley
a big old girl. Right?
Julie Chrisley
I still know that.
Todd Chrisley
Well, I don't. You know, he did.
Julie Chrisley
He gave her a powder blue Bentley for her birthday in February and they went on trouble.
Todd Chrisley
See, what I tell you guys out there, you gonna always pay for matter where they put a ring.
Julie Chrisley
No, obviously she got. She was deserving of that. If he did. If he cheated on her, too bad.
Todd Chrisley
Well, I don't understand that small price. If that's the concept that we're going to go with here. Yeah, that she got that she deserved that because he cheated.
Julie Chrisley
Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
Then the men need to just know that they go have to that if they do this, they got to buy a gift. You know, George Burns said that years ago about his wife Gracie. He said that she had one of the biggest jewelry collections in Beverly in Hollywood, because every time he cheated, she made him buy her a piece of jewelry.
Julie Chrisley
Well, you know what? Listen, and again, whatever. Whatever compromises and whatever you decide to do in a relationship between two people is your business. If that's how she chose to keep it moving, then more power to her.
Todd Chrisley
Yeah, but she just got a Bentley.
Julie Chrisley
I mean, a Bentley's better than a Pinto.
Todd Chrisley
Well, who the hell's ever heard of a Pinto anymore? Well, that tells y' all how old this chick is.
Julie Chrisley
Well, you talk about George Burns. So those people don't even know George Burns is.
Todd Chrisley
Well, you need to look up George Burns.
Julie Chrisley
It was a tripod, but I'm just saying that. Okay, I mean, it is what it is.
Todd Chrisley
Well, first of all, I don't even know the lady, but God bless her if she come out of it with a Bentley.
Julie Chrisley
She's beautiful. She's actually really pretty.
Todd Chrisley
Have you seen who he cheated with. With?
Julie Chrisley
No, it's just. There's just allegations because nobody's.
Todd Chrisley
What's pissing me off is you see these men out here with these hot women and then they end up screwing the housekeeper that looks like she has literally been rode hard and put up wet. I don't understand that. If I am going to step out of my marriage, I'm stepping up. I'm not stepping down. It's just goes to show that men are just dogs. Because if the puss is laying there and ready and available they gonna hit it when they can. They don't. They're lazy. They're not gonna go look for it. I got this friend Dustin, who's notorious for that.
Julie Chrisley
Sometimes though, I think that people do that because, you know, these women make them feel good and tell them all the things that they wish their partner would tell.
Todd Chrisley
But I'm not going from a 10 to a 5 for her. She can't make me feel better. That over the fact that I'm now going down the food chain.
Julie Chrisley
I mean, you just said it happens all the time, so.
Todd Chrisley
But I don't. I don't say it makes sense.
Julie Chrisley
What about Zoe Kravitz? You know who Zoe Kravitz is, right? Lenny Kravitz, daughter. Bonet's daughter.
Todd Chrisley
Yes, Lisa, I remember her.
Julie Chrisley
Zoe Kravitz, Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
Wasn't she without Channing T. Tatum or something?
Julie Chrisley
But she's engaged to Harry Styles.
Todd Chrisley
Get the hell out of here. The world is literally upside down in,
Julie Chrisley
you know, and everyone always like kind of would talk about Harry Styles, like cuz he's kind of eccentric and you
Todd Chrisley
don't go there cuz people say that about your husband, but.
Julie Chrisley
I know. But still. Eight months after they were linked, they are now engaged. And she dated Channing Tatum for a long time.
Todd Chrisley
I feel like, Well, I guess, listen, he might be a great lesbian. You don't ever know.
Julie Chrisley
I don't know.
Todd Chrisley
Whatever it is, whatever works in this world, if it works for you, I'm gonna stay out of it. I'm all. And my opinion should not matter to you. So she said that she's engaged to him now?
Julie Chrisley
Yeah, yeah, they're engaged.
Todd Chrisley
What's the cute kid that Savannah met years ago? That's now they said. I saw on Instagram the other day where they said that he's with a boy. With a guy. Hey, I can't remember the guy's name now. He's a cute kid. Menende is it might not be Menendez. What's the guy's name? He's a singer. He's a. He's a great singer.
Julie Chrisley
Shawn Mendez.
Todd Chrisley
Shawn Mendez. That's it. Shawn Mendez. Shawn Mendez.
Julie Chrisley
Yeah, he's super cute too.
Todd Chrisley
But it says on the thing it had a picture or is that AI?
Julie Chrisley
I don't know. Let's don't talk.
Todd Chrisley
I get in trouble all the time because I say no, Julie, I saw the picture and then I go find it. She goes, todd, read below where it says AI generated.
Julie Chrisley
Yeah, I have to do this with him and his mother because Folks, I didn't. Danny says, well, look. Look at this, if you will. And I'm like, it's not real.
Todd Chrisley
Let me tell y', all, folks, not real. I have fought over this recording artist for the last three weeks, and I was determined to prove everyone wrong. And I researched and researched and researched,
Julie Chrisley
and it's an AI person they created.
Todd Chrisley
Don't talk to me. I'm trying to find it.
Julie Chrisley
Well, don't give them any.
Todd Chrisley
Don't.
Julie Chrisley
Don't call them out, because that just gives.
Todd Chrisley
She's a great singer. Her name is Inga Rose. Well, folks, I have been so in love with Inga Rose's music for the last month or so. Shane. And real.
Julie Chrisley
I know. Don't be listening to that, Todd, because you're doing away with real singers out here, real performers, real artists out here. Do you think I. I'm calling Jay. I'm calling Jay right now.
Todd Chrisley
Do you think I do that to Jay or to Jason or to Luke or any of my friends? No. But I didn't know the Inga Rose was fake, but I sure did fall in love with her music. But I'm not going to listen to it no more because it's not real. So I had to. I had to go ahead and acknowledge that Inga Rose is not real. But I do. I did love her. Whatever Generated music or whatever.
Julie Chrisley
Oh, my God.
Todd Chrisley
Yeah.
Julie Chrisley
I cannot with you. I cannot with you.
Todd Chrisley
Folks, yesterday we were coming through the airport in Palm Beach. We're going through security, and Julie gets. I put all her stuff on the thing, get the suitcases put up there, all that. You got to go through and stand up there and just wait. And then when they come through, I get them off and hand them to you, right? And she takes off like a bat out of hell, like she does in her car. And I'm like, where is she going in such a hurry?
Julie Chrisley
Normally, he walks away from me, walks ahead of me. So I thought, I'm gonna get him. I'm gonna walk on to the gate. And now that way, I mean, he'll catch up to me, even though if I walk off, right?
Todd Chrisley
So then. And I'm standing at the doorway up here watching because she's realized she's gotten too far away from me, you know, like a child does. They're going to go so far, but then they're going to turn around and look for their mom and daddy. That's what she was doing. And I'm looking through that door, and she's looking around, trying to figure out where the Hell is he? Where is he? So I call her on the phone, and she can't see me. And I said, julie, get your ass back up here. Something was in your purse, and they're not letting me leave until you bring that bag back.
Julie Chrisley
Back.
Todd Chrisley
She said, my purse, I don't have any. I said, get up here. She or she comes with her little carry on marching up through there, right where she goes, right that corner. I jumped out, scared to live a piss out of her. She said, I can't shock her.
Julie Chrisley
She said, he scared me.
Todd Chrisley
Shock. I can't stand you.
Julie Chrisley
Oh, my God.
Todd Chrisley
Then we got beside this lush on the plane. I don't care. I'm telling it. She was 4ft tall. If she was like.
Julie Chrisley
And so maybe it just didn't take much to.
Todd Chrisley
So she gets on stringy hair, bad color cat hair on the. On her sweatshirt that she pulled out of a bag that. I don't know where the bag came from. And I'm looking at her and I looked at Julie and I think it was dog hair. Cat, dog, whatever.
Julie Chrisley
Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
And that lets you know that literally the drapes match the carpet with her. So she. I'm against the window and I'm trying to. My mom is. Because you know that I'm good about that. On the plane, I stay against the wall. Don't talk to me. And so Julie said, todd. Because folks, y' all act like that I'm the one that causes all this shit. If people would not bring it to me, I'd be fine. But I have this one that's going to notice everything thing. And she goes, I have my earpods in. Take it out. What? She just ordered two Melo.
Julie Chrisley
No Miller Light.
Todd Chrisley
A Miller line. She just ordered two. I'm like, I don't give a shit. And so Judy. But two minutes later, she goes. And I was literally listening to Conway Twitty Linda on my Mind. And I said, what is it? She has her own koozie. I said, what? She said, she has her own koozie. And I said, what the hell? And then I look over and she's got to brave that little thing that you stick your drink in. And I thought, okay, we got a problem. This chick's got a problem. If you travel with a koozie, you got a problem. And she said, the steward came over. He goes, she said, where's the TV? Where's the TV? And he goes, Ma', am, there's no TVs on this flight. And she goes, you mean to tell me I paid fifteen Hundred dollars and there's no tv. What do you want me to do? And I am looking at you. I said, this is batshit crazy. And so I'm looking at her, and the guy was so good, he said, use your phone like everyone else is doing. She said, but I don't have a charger. I don't have a charger. I think I brought the wrong charger. I brought the charger for my iPad, not my phone. And this is a set. And I'm looking at her and I told you, I said, nah, I'm not gonna do this for an hour.
Julie Chrisley
You have a charger. I said, no.
Todd Chrisley
She scared the out of Julie.
Julie Chrisley
I said, no.
Todd Chrisley
Julie was like, literally, she said, do you have a charger? She said, no, ma'.
Julie Chrisley
Am.
Todd Chrisley
You didn't say no. You said like you were scared, like she was getting ready to walk a dog on you, all four feet of her. Judah said, no, no, ma', am, I don't. And she looked at me and said, well, I don't know what I'm going to do. And I have anxiety. This other woman across promise. She said, here, take mine. Because she's trying to shut her up. And she said, here, take mine. She said, thank you so much. You have no idea what you've done for me. And I'm thinking to myself, now we know what she did for us. So she plugs her charger, her phone in, and she said to what are they called again?
Julie Chrisley
Miller Lights.
Todd Chrisley
Two Miller Lights. The steward is standing there. We haven't even taken off yet, folks. This is not mid air. We haven't even taken off yet.
Julie Chrisley
Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
And she goes, two Miller Lights. He goes, I got you when we get in the air. Did she not? And then she takes her hair. She takes her hair and pulls it over her head. She's going like this. And I looked at Judah and I said, I'm going to tell you something right now. If you think I'm going to put up this crazy heifer, I said, for an hour and 48 minutes, you've lost it. Judah said, todd, please don't say anything. Now, keep in mind, folks, my source of information of what's really going on is coming from the person who's telling me not to say, well, you know,
Julie Chrisley
you got involved now, so.
Todd Chrisley
So now you want to be involved.
Julie Chrisley
Yeah, whatever.
Todd Chrisley
So then I hear, when we're in the air, I hear her say something. And I said, who are you talking to? She said, she wasn't talking to me. She wasn't talking because I was Getting ready to go off on her. That. Who do you think you are talking to my wife like this?
Julie Chrisley
But no, she went talking.
Todd Chrisley
It just. She wasn't talking to me. She wasn't talking to me. So as we get, I mean, and when I tell you this chick, she went to a lot of keg parties in her life. What's that thing that hose on it when you, when you drink out of a barrel or something? A keg, what they call that though?
Julie Chrisley
A keg?
Todd Chrisley
What is it when they got that hose pipe to it or whatever. Yeah, what is it? Yeah, that's it. This chick has funneled in her life, okay. Because she downed those beers in two gulps and she's looking around like, oh, I need to have another. Like, you know what happened to those? You scarfed them down. So.
Julie Chrisley
Yeah, as well. It was an eventful flight.
Todd Chrisley
And then as we're going to land.
Julie Chrisley
Yes.
Todd Chrisley
All of a sudden the plane jerks straight back up and starts climbing.
Julie Chrisley
We were already like, you could almost on the ground. Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
And then the plane jerks straight up and starts going back up. And I looked at you and I said, shit's getting ready to go down. And what I did, first thing I did, I text my kids to tell them that I loved them. And. And this woman sitting next to us who's now at this point drunk, why you think they did that? I said, what?
Julie Chrisley
She said, well, we about to collide. I said, honey, I don't know.
Todd Chrisley
And she said, so do you think we were going to. Do you think we were going to collide? I said, I don't know. Talk to her. And so I'm looking out the window and we're still climbing. And so I looked over at the stewardess who was the lovely. We had the loveliest missed crew.
Julie Chrisley
Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
And I looked over at her and I said, what's going on? And she goes, I said, because, you know, literally a week ago, two planes southwest almost collided right here in Nashville. And here we are landing in Nashville. I need to know what the real is right now.
Julie Chrisley
And then the pilot was like, he did come on and say another plane was slow leaving the Runway. Which tells me he was getting ready
Todd Chrisley
to rear end that.
Julie Chrisley
Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
Yes. I'm like, nah, we're not doing this. So as we're coming down, she goes, excuse me, I need to know when I land what gate I'm supposed to go to read your boarding pass. And when she got up to walk out of there, she jumped. I mean she. And bow legged, bless her heart. You could have parked a semi truck between them legs. I don't care. You saw.
Julie Chrisley
Was an eventful flight.
Todd Chrisley
It was an eventful flight, yes. Let's just say it was an eventful flight. But we had a time in Palm Beach. Yeah, we had a great time there. Great time with Savannah.
Julie Chrisley
Yes.
Todd Chrisley
You and I had a wonderful lunch at a wonderful. What was it called?
Julie Chrisley
Pizza. Pizza al fresco or something like that.
Todd Chrisley
It was so good. So if you go to Palm beach, go to pizza al fresco. Whatever. The service was amazing. The food was delicious. And then we had a lovely dinner in Jupiter on Saturday evening with some friends of ours there. And what was the name of that place?
Julie Chrisley
I don't even know.
Todd Chrisley
But it's owned by Michael Jordan is one of the owners.
Julie Chrisley
Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
Yes. And. And so we loved. I mean, that was a lovely, lovely dinner. And they have two of the most beautiful children in the world ever. And they were so well behaved. Now everyone knows I love a well behaved child.
Julie Chrisley
Yeah.
Todd Chrisley
If they're pretty and well behaved, I'm gonna love it.
Julie Chrisley
You.
Todd Chrisley
If you lack in those areas, your grandparents will love you. But they were wonderful. So we had a wonderful time there. And I got to tell them what I did to you at Discovery, at the Discovery development. So we go there to look at this property and Discovery. What's it called? Discovery. What?
Julie Chrisley
I don't. I don't know.
Todd Chrisley
It's a discovery property. And so we go there to look at this property and. And we're on the golf cart riding all through the guys showing. Showing us all the different lots, you know, June build on and what have you. And Julie, I'm always messing with her.
Julie Chrisley
Shocker.
Todd Chrisley
So as she's walking in front of me, I lean forward, I go, julie, what have you sat down in? And she goes, touch shut the hell up. Because she's getting ready to go into the club, folks. And she said, I said, go to the bathroom night now. And she said, oh, my God, here. She takes off to go to the bathroom. I go in there where Savannah's standing and I said, wait, give it one, two. Judah goes around the corner. I said, she's getting ready to say, you know, you're such a liar. I swear to God, you need to grow up. As she comes walking over, she goes, he's such a liar, Savannah. He needs to grow up. And we both just busted out laughing because I knew what you were going to do.
Julie Chrisley
Torture me. Torture me. So, folks, on that note, until next week.
Todd Chrisley
Until next week. Good luck and God bless. See you then.
