I don't know where this has come from, y'all. Maybe it's from the Lord. Maybe it's a good thing. But lately, I've been getting more concerned about all of the chemicals in my products. Like, I've been looking more closely towards just, like, my beauty products and anything else that could have harsh chemicals in it. And these days, it seems like everything has so many unnecessary chemicals in it. And I was really surprised to learn that my laundry detergent is one of the worst culprits. Every wash was leaving behind this harsh chemical residue I didn't even know about. So that's why I made the switch to Earth Breeze laundry sheets, because they don't have those harsh chemicals like dyes, parabens, phosphates, and preservatives. And I feel so much better knowing that I'm not exposing myself and even potentially my dogs, like, I literally wash all of their bedding in this stuff that we're not getting exposed to those unnecessary toxins anymore. If you want a gentler clean, switch to Earth Breeze right now. And you can actually get 40% off with your auto shipment@earthbreeze.com on ice. That's Earth Breeze.com on ice. Wow. What's up? I just bought and financed a car through Carvana in minutes. You, the person who agonized four weeks over whether to paint your wall's eggshell or off white, bought and financed a car in minutes. They made it easy, transparent terms, customizable, down and monthly. Didn't even have to do any paperwork. Wow. Mm. Hey, have you checked out that spreadsheet I sent you for our dinner? Options? Finance your car with Carvana and experience total control financing subject to credit approval. Hello, everybody. Welcome to another episode of Christ with Coffee on Ice. I am your host, Ali Yost. Sorry. I wanted to be like, I'm so excited to be here. I got so excited to say that that I forgot to introduce myself. I'm your host, Aliost. I will say, guys, that that is just so iconic of the Lord. I never knew I was going to be a host of anything. I never knew I was gonna be a host of anything. And that was just so cool of God to do. He knew. He knew that. He knew that when I was born, he was like, oh, she's gonna be a host of a podcast episode, and she's gonna have this intro, and she's gonna say, I'm your host, Ali Yost. And it's gonna give her so much joy. It does. It truly gives me so much joy. What am I gonna do when I get married? I don't know. I might still just be like, I'm your host, Alios. Because it's just the best. It's the best. We have our coffee on ice. Christ. With coffee on ice. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Coffee on ice. Gorgeous. We have our plastic tumbler here because it's so cute and gorgeous for travel. And then, I don't know if you guys have noticed, we have our glass one right here as decoration. Is it giving? I don't know. You might see the background change up a little bit as I experiment and do fun things with this shelf. Anyway, they are still very much available. This is our merch. You guys twin with me. If you haven't already twin with me. I was also thinking, I don't know when this episode is gonna go live. Is it the spring yet? I don't know. But I was thinking about doing some type of revamp. I really want to keep our Jesus tea because that one just eats Jesus. He is the icon. We're going to keep our coffee cups, obviously. I love our journal as well, but I kind of want to revamp maybe some more apparel or something for, like, spring. I don't know. Just adding fun colors and things. I don't know. So we might be doing some new stuff with the birch. I've just been. My brain has been braining, and I have been just brainstorming and thinking of ideas. So I don't know. We'll see. But I think that could be something fun that we do soon. Okay. Okay. So, yes, we have our coffee. We have our Christ. Ah. We have our Christ. Thank you, God, for your son, Jesus Christ. Oh, my gosh. I just. I love the Lord. I love the Trinity. I love all of them. All. I love God. I love him. And I'm grateful sometimes. Guys, I don't know. Do you relate? I. This is me. Sometimes I think about the version of myself before I knew God, and I'm like, how did you live, Ally? How did you physically live? Like, how did you make any decisions? How did you go about life having peace? I don't know if I actually had a lot of peace. And I don't know if I was actually making the best decisions for. I know I wasn't actually. I was not making the best decisions for myself without the Lord. But I think about it and I'm like, how did you do anything without God? Like, once you've tasted and you've seen the goodness of God and you, like, live life in partnership with him, you're like, oh, my gosh. I literally will never go back because I would be lost. I mean, I was lost. Speaking of lost, I had the weirdest dream last night, you guys. I had such a weird dream that I was lost in the dark. I don't know what it means. Okay, no one start debunking anything about it. I don't know if it was prophetic, it might not have been. And prophetic just means it was a dream from God. God sends me a lot of dreams, so, yeah, weird. I don't know what that dream is about. Anyway, we're not getting into that. What I do want to do today, though, I keep playing with my Bible. I don't know if we're going to open this today. We might just have it as emotional support. But also, if God wants to speak to us, he's more than welcome to. I had asked you guys. I felt like we got a good response with this style of episode. I know we're all over the place. Each episode is giving different vibe. But maybe that's entertaining, right? That's fun. This style of episode did very well, I think. I honestly don't really look at the results a whole lot because I just kind of am like, okay, God, I did my job. But from what I've observed and heard already, you guys really liked this style. But we did an episode a few weeks ago. I'm frantic today, guys. I'm sorry if you needed a more peaceful episode. I'm sorry if you needed a more peaceful episode. I know what's going on with me right now where you guys wrote in about certain topics. It's kind of giving my old podcast that I did Before Christ with Coffee and Ice, where y'all would write in about things. You'd have questions. There's specific topics. I did a poll or, like, a question thing. Oh, my gosh. I sound literally ancient. But I did a thing on my Instagram stories asking you guys for just questions or topics for the podcast. And so we did something similar to this a few weeks ago where we covered a few different things. And I just think that would be fun to do again. It feels more conversational. It feels like we're just kind of hanging out, you know, like, we're just besties on FaceTime. And I think that's just gonna be the vibe today. That's the vibe. So we have all of these entries right here. If you're physically watching. Look, look. Look at you guys just chatting away. Oh, my gosh. There's a lot we're not reading all of these. Oh, my gosh. There's like, a lot. Wait, you guys went in? Okay, it's still going. Okay, let's just cover a few of these. We'll talk about each topic for a couple minutes. Little speed message. I don't even know what I'm saying anymore. Guys, I need grace today. I literally need grace. Please give me grace. Should I be saying names? I can say first names. Emily said, how to be forgiven for sinful past relationship and move forward into a new one. Guilt free. Free. I love that. Love that question. I think that it is extremely relatable, especially coming from a girly who was in relationships that did not glorify the Lord. Before I knew God, they did not glorify him one bit. He was not in it at all. It was so worldly. Fully my flesh. I did my own thing, made all my own decisions. Hence, I mean, yes, that's what I was doing before God. I was making all my own decisions. No guidance, no shepherd. I was a sheep. Just sheeping and doing my own thing. Very dangerous. Very dangerous. Okay, so how to be forgiven for sinful past relationships. So good news. Good news is if you've asked the Lord for forgiveness and you've repented and you said, oh, I know this was wrong, God, I am so sorry for doing those things. Oh, so silly me. Silly me. Those were sinful things and I should have never done it. I should have never done it. And I love you, God, and I'm sorry. Guess what? You're forgiven. You're forgiven. It's that easy. And I know that that feels really hard to believe. I know. But guys, this is just something we're always going to say. God is something that will surpass any of our understanding for probably the rest of our life. We will never understand him fully until we're probably in heaven one day, you know? So I know that that sounds kind of crazy, but that was the whole point of his son dying for us. Our sins have already been forgiven. So all you need to do is say, hey, God, sorry I messed up. Genuinely. We're going to just say, hey, I'm sorry, God. But then what's crazy? I'm going to bring up the scripture that comes to my brain right now. Hebrews 8:12. Look at us. We are using our Bible today. Thanks, God. Okay, Hebrews. Where is Hebrews? It's in the back, isn't it? Yeah. Come on, Al. You know I found it. 8:12. Ah, here it is. You ready, guys? Brace yourselves. And I will forgive their wickedness and I will never again remember their sins. When God speaks of a new covenant, it means he has made the first one obsolete. It is now out of date and will soon disappear. And I will forgive their wickedness and will never again remember their sins. Listen, I know that we remember our sins still because unfortunately, it was our reality and our lives. Okay? So there was a life that we did have before the Lord and not all of it is forgotten. Ugh, sometimes I wish I could, but I don't. There are things that I still remember that I did. And it's so icky and dumb and silly, but God forgot. Can you believe that? No, he did forget. No, he did forget. He chose to forgot, though. That's the thing is God isn't a forgetful God. I'm about to tie this into last week's episode. If you listen to it, we are talking about earnestly praying and coming to the Lord about the same thing over and over again. And a part of that episode I had said, God didn't forget about you. He didn't forget about you. So he's not a forgetful God. It's not like in his nature to forget, but he chooses to forget our wickedness. And that was a choice that he made, especially with sending his son, Jesus Christ to die for our sins on the cross. That was all a choice of God's. It's his freaking mercy, his love, and his grace. That he forgets is not because he just has short term memory loss. Our God is perfect. He ain't got no issues. He chose to forget our sins. Okay, God, you're unbelievably kind for that. And so when we read that scripture, we gotta believe that it's the truth, right? So if we've asked the Lord for forgiveness for, yeah, maybe sinful relationships in the past, silly things that we did without his guidance. If we've repented and we've asked for forgiveness, then we have to believe in the word of God that He has forgiven us. Because that's what he said. That's what he said. He said, hey, if you do these things, my son, Jesus has already paid the bill. He's already paid off your debt. And so I think God just wants us to take responsibility, I guess, in ownership of being like, yeah, that was wrong. And then also turning from our sins, we've talked about repentance before and how, you know, it's not just about saying, I'm sorry, but then it's like, okay, and now I come into agreement with this truth over here. Your will, God. I take my free will and submit it to your will, God. And so I'm going this way now. And so that is how you're going to move forward into a new one. Guilt free is believing that Jesus blood covered all of your sins. We have to believe in the power of the blood that that has been covered. And it was covered before you even did it, my girl, my man. It was covered before you even knew the mistake. Because God knew the sins of the world. Jesus knew the sins of the world, sins that were actively being done against him in that time. But then all the sins of the future, even the sins that you have fallen into, entertained, chosen to do all of them, even the ones you may do in the future, Oops, we make mistakes, but Jesus covered those as well. Now we don't remember that to say, oh, well, Jesus covered it all. So, you know, if I sin from time to time, that's all right. You know, if you. If you choose to do something actively knowing that it's against what God says, and you're like, yeah, but the blood of Jesus covers it. So it's fine, I can do it. I think Paul said that. Paul said that in something. Where is it? Well, First John 3. 6 says, no one who lives in him keeps on sinning. We're going into Romans y'all. Romans 6. Open your Bibles with me. Let's read it together. Okay, Romans, I want to read this whole thing. Can we just read this whole thing? I know we've read this on the POD before, but guess what? It's living, it's alive. And we need to read it more than once, twice, 300, 400 times. We got to read it all the time. Okay, Romans 6. 1. I'ma just start at the top. Sin's power is broken. Well, then should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace? Of course not. Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it? Or have you forgotten that when we were joined with Christ Jesus in baptism, we joined him in his death? For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives. Since we have been united with him in his death, we will also be raised to life as he was. We know that our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so that sin might lose its power in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin. For when we died with Christ we were set free from the power of sin. And since we died with Christ, we know we will also live with Him. We are sure of this because Christ was raised from the dead and he will never die again. Death no longer has any power over him. When he died, he died once to break the power of sin. But now that he lives, he lives for the glory of God. So you also should consider yourselves to be dead to the power of sin and alive to God through Christ Jesus. Do not let sin control the way you live. Do not give in to sinful desires. Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life. So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God. Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God's grace. Well then, since God's grace has set us free from the law, does that mean we can go on sinning? Of course not. Don't you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey? You can be a slave to sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God, which leads to righteous living. Thank God. Once you were a slave of sin, but now you wholeheartedly obey this teaching we have given you. Now you are free from your slavery to sin, and you have become slaves to righteous living because of the weakness of your human nature. I am using the illustration of slavery to help you understand all this. Previously you let yourselves be slaves to impurity and lawlessness which led even deeper into sin. Now you must give yourselves to be slaves to righteous living so that you will become holy. When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the obligation to do right. And. And what was the result? You are now ashamed of the things you used to do. Things that end in eternal doom. But now you are free from the power of sin and have become slaves of God. Now you do those things that lead to holiness and result in eternal life. For the wages of sin is death. But the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus, our Lord. Oh, my gosh. That was all of Romans 6. But I feel like that answered a lot of questions in that, you know, where it's like, okay, we're dead to that sin now that sin no longer controls us. Whatever sinful, lustful relationships you could have had before you knew the Lord, it's over. It's dead. It's gone. You've been raised to life. You're a new creation through Christ, and so there's no reason to hold guilt anymore. I think that that's obviously such a tactic of the enemy, is that he wants you to stay in a place where you no longer. You're not remembering. And you don't believe that you've actually been delivered by the blood of Jesus. It's also believing in the power of the blood and believing in his word that he's forgiven you. So enjoy your freedom because you are free. You are. You are. You've been delivered from that. And we're not going to sulk on the past, the mistakes and the silly things that we've done, because we've already repented, we've already asked for forgiveness. We've received the forgiveness. He's forgotten about the wickedness and the sin of your past. So why are you dwelling on it? There's literally no productivity in that other than bondage. That's kind of giving bondage. You're in chains of guilt and shame. And it's not from the Lord. Those things are not from God. That's from the enemy. So we rebuke the spirit of shame. We rebuke the spirit of guilt. In Jesus name we bind it. We send it back to the pits of hell where it belongs. It will not return in Jesus name. And we receive joy and we receive freedom through the spirit of God. Thank you, Jesus. And we receive the power of the blood that has set us free and washed us clean. We're white as snow through his blood. Amen. Amen. Okay, my dad works in B2B marketing. Christian friends who are different than you, how to best love them. Okay. Sweet girl. Shanti. I think her name is Shanti. Okay. So I'm not sure. Of course, you have to kind of keep it brief with these types of submissions on Instagram. So I don't know how they could be different. I don't know what that means. But that's okay. We don't need to. I feel like my answer is gonna be kind of simple, but I think the best way to love them is to ask God how you're supposed to love these people. Truly. I just. I think that in any scenario, whether they're Christian friends that maybe act different than you, maybe they don't take the Lord as seriously as you do, or. Or if it's people who don't believe in the Lord, I don't know what the scenario could be. I think the best way to love those people is to ask God, because I think God is the only one that knows how you could love that person well or those people well. What kind of boundaries need to be set? You know, I don't know what it means that they're different. I don't know if maybe they're entertaining things from the world, but also still walking with the Lord. There might be certain things that you feel very convicted about their lives in. Like, let's say they're entertaining things that just aren't glorifying the Lord. I'm just using that as an example. But I think God will always, always, always, always give you the guidance that you need when it comes to loving others in general and what kind of boundaries you're supposed to set. So I think the best way to love them is saying, God, how do you love this person? What is your heart for them? Sometimes it's a simple prayer of God, give me your heart for this person. Give me your eyes for this person. You know, the best way to love someone well is to ask the Father how they're loved by him. I just think that it should be an overflow of, like, love from God, and it's not a love that you're getting from within yourself. And I'm not even saying you're saying that, girl, but, like, yeah, I just think the best way we could love anyone is to love them the way God says they need to be loved. That's it. So your prayer tonight today is going to be, God, how can I love this person? Well, in a way that's also healthy for me, you know, it's Healthy for everyone involved. But like, how can I extend love to this person? And he'll show you, he'll tell you. But that would be my advice because I don't know that's what I would do. If I didn't know how to love someone and I didn't know how to approach a relationship or a situation, I'd be like, God, what do I do? Like, how do I love this person? Well, while also keeping my heart safe, you know, okay, Lola says, how can I talk about Jesus to others, but also know that I'm not burdening them. I think that that's a really real feeling, Lola. So I want to just validate you in that. That sometimes it can feel very intimidating talking about Jesus, feeling as if maybe, yeah, it's an inconvenience, it's a burden. It's annoying for people to hear about it. But I will say something that gives me peace. A lot of the times is one, I always look to the Lord for guidance on how I'm supposed to be delivering that. Sometimes it could be as intense as, like, you're like full blown, like ministering to this person about Jesus or you're just sharing stories from your own life. I think that, and this is just from my own experience, just from the very short walk of life I've had with the Lord for only two years. Okay, I'm new. We're all new here. I'm new here. The two things that I've seen the most effective in my life of how to minister and tell people about Jesus is the way that I live my life, the way that I treat others, the way that I love them, the way that I love them. Because if you're loving people the way that Jesus loves, you're just going to look different. You are, even when you're not saying anything about Jesus. If they know that you love the Lord and then they see the way that you are treating them and loving them, you're extending grace to every person. You're going the extra mile to just love them well. And I think through that, it's like we're not striving out of our own strength to be like, I want this person to know that I love Jesus and my kindness comes from Jesus. Like, don't do that. Don't strive. I think the best way to not strive is to be in tune with the spirit and say, okay, God, how much do you. What do you want me to do? How can I love this person well? And how can I represent you well right now? But I Think that is, like, the best way to minister to a person about Jesus. Because you just are going to look different. You are. Whether you see it from them or not, like, you don't know what's going on in this person's mind. But I know for a fact that if you're walking like Christ and they're used to everyone else walking like anything else, that's not the Lord. You are going to glow. You. You just are going to stand out. You're going to be different. The tone of your V sounds different. Your demeanor is different. Your kindness is different. Your glow is different. Like, it just is different when you have the Holy Spirit dwelling inside of you. Okay. You just are. And so I think trusting that and knowing that. That you are set apart, you are. Whether you're actively saying the name of Jesus out loud or not. I'm not saying, don't go ahead and do it. Go ahead and say his name. Do it. But what I'm saying is that has been something that I have seen minister the most in my life, is the way that I live my life. I know that it ministers to the people around me. And sometimes that's more impactful than if I were to sit down with them and give them a whole sermon as to why they need to follow Jesus and all of that, you know, that they were created for God. I actually think it's more effective in a lot of cases to be an example of Christ. Okay. Second thing that I feel has been the most effective in my walk with the Lord is remembering that whether that person knows it or not, they are yearning for Jesus. They don't know it, but they are searching and they are looking and their soul wants Jesus. Now, granted, they could be fulfilling that void in their heart through other things, and they could even think that they're satisfied in that. But every soul was created for Jesus. Every single soul on this earth was made for the Lord. And so when we remember that, it's like, oh, no. But this person is loved by God, and they were physically made for God. And so, like, really, really looking and being like, I'm gonna speak right to their spirit. Like, look at this. Don't look at everything else. Don't listen to the enemy. Being like, you're a burden. You're annoying. Don't do that. Don't. You don't know their soul is thirsty. They're thirsty. Like you were thirsty before you knew the Lord. Right? Right. That person is thirsty. Whether they want to admit it or not. Their soul is parched. So remembering Also that every person was created for God. It doesn't matter what it looks like on the outside. It doesn't. That soul in there was literally made by God and for God for them to have a relationship. God made that soul and said, I want to have a relationship with them. I love them. So remembering that and sometimes when you like strip it all back, like all of it, all of it, and you see that, you see the soul in there, that's like, they need Jesus. They were created for Jesus, and the only thing that's going to hydrate their soul is Jesus. You, you're like, oh, this stuff doesn't even matter. Oh my gosh, this stuff doesn't even matter. It's that. It's that that matters. You know, I don't know if that helps, but that's just what I've learned. Gab asks that how to stop second guessing if I'm hearing God or not. I think that sometimes the best way for me, at least to stop second guessing if I hear from God or not is remembering times where I heard from the Lord and then like that very thing came to pass, or like something happened in my life that proved that I did hear from. And then remembering that in that moment I'm hearing that same voice and being like, okay, well the last time this happened and then the time before that, and then there was that other time that I heard this voice and it was right and this thing did come to pass and whatever, right? It's like just thinking back to the times where you heard from God, okay? And then it was proven that it was God and saying and asking yourself and saying, is that the same voice? And then if you're like, well, yes, it is the same voice, then you go, okay, then it's God. Also remembering that if it's from God, it's going to give you peace. Also remembering that typically the first thing you hear in your mind is God. And then there's like this follow up voice that second guesses it or gives you a different answer. That happens to me all the time. The first thing you hear in your mind is typically always God. And then the second thing or anything that follows that is like probably your flesh or maybe even the enemy. Like, oh my gosh, guys, so many times I've been like, hey, God, question. And then immediately I get, I'm like, okay, something answered me and it was God and it was peaceful and it was clear and it was like that. But then I go, wait, but was that God? And then I hear all these other Voices that don't sound like that one. And it's contradicting the first one. And then I'm like, oh, my gosh, is it even God? Do I even hear from God? Like, second guessing? Typically, anything after that, all that garbage after the first initial thought was God and then the rest of it is just silliness. Is it just your flesh freaking out and doubting it? But yeah, I just think remembering, like, remembering the times that maybe you have heard from God and be like, no, I heard from God and this feels the same. Remember that. Remember that? Because even I have had to do that, guys. I've been like, ah, but I don't know if it's God. And then sweet Ashley will be like, is it the same voice? And I'm like, yeah, it is. And she's like, okay, then it's God. Enough is enough. But, yeah, that's real. That's real. Sometimes we doubt if we can hear God's voice, even though we've heard his voice a few times before. Like, a lot of times before. I don't know why our flesh does that, but we. We freak out. This episode is brought to you by Progressive Insurance. Do you ever find yourself playing the budgeting game? How to navigate modesty in regards to honoring Christ versus societal modesty. Well, okay, yeah, I guess that there could be a definition of societal modesty. Like, there's things in the world that people would consider modest, but maybe in the church, it's not super modest. And this is the question I always ask myself. Well, at least I always try to ask myself. I'm never, ever going to say that I'm perfect. I definitely dress a lot more modest now than I used to. But I think that the question I need to ask myself, and we should all ask ourselves as women. Even men, y'all. Come on. Even men, okay, Period. Is will this outfit. You look yourself in the mirror, okay? Be honest with yourselves. I don't care how cute or fit or batty you feel, okay? If you leave the house, you look at yourself in the mirror and you go, is this gonna make a brother or sister stumble? Is this gonna make their mind wander? Is it gonna make a brother or sister stumble? If you're unsure, Honestly, if you're unsure, it's best, maybe you just change. I don't know, take my advice if you want to. You don't have to do this. This is just what I do. This is what I do. I go, mm. Is this gonna make someone's imagination? Is this a good idea? Is it gonna make someone stumble? That's the question. And also, is it honoring to God, I think, as women? And it's funny. Cause Ashley and I, we made an episode about modesty and all of that months ago. And I think it's okay to have a figure. It's okay to have a figure, especially as a woman. Like, oh, my gosh. Wow. Shocker. You know, it's okay to have a figure. We don't have to walk around wearing. And it's whatever. Honestly, I think that it also comes down to, like, whatever you're comfortable with. Like, if you don't want anyone to know that you got hips, girl, then you go ahead and wear whatever you want. You know, we don't need to hide our bodies, but we don't need to flaunt them and show them off either. So whatever. I feel like conviction is a really good thing in here too. To each their own. God will speak to you and show you, and he will say, hey, honey, that's a little risque. It's gonna make my boys look at your little. Your. Okay, so just hear me out in that. But I think the question I ask myself is, could this make someone stumble? That's it. And then the spirit of God will either convict me or say, nah, you're good, and I'll walk out the door. So that's what I would say about that. The Book of Revelation, breakdown. Listen, guys, I'm honored. I'm honored that you guys think. And you know what? Maybe it is something I'm capable of doing, but. Oh, my gosh, you trust me with that? I think someone else could probably do that. I don't know if I should be breaking down the Book of Revelation. I don't know if I should be doing that right now. Okay. Elise says, prophetic dreams. Okay, so we kind of said that in the beginning of this episode, I was like, guys, I had a weird dream. That was something that I didn't get a whole lot of or ever, actually. I don't know if I ever got prophetic dreams. My life before knowing the Lord, I would have dreams from time to time, but they were weird. They were definitely out of my flesh or potentially even from the enemy. It would be weird dreams. Like, weird dreams like I'm on the moon with a third arm for whatever reason. And 18 eyeballs. Like, just dreams that don't make sense. Okay. I had heard, you know, since becoming a follower of Christ, I had heard that people were getting these things called prophetic dreams. And I was doing research about it, and I was like, this is so cool. It's just, like, another really sweet way for the Spirit of God to communicate to us and talk to us. And it is a gift of the Spirit. And so I think that earnestly asking for the gifts of the Spirit is step number one. I asked and I asked and I asked and I asked. I said, oh, my gosh, God, I want a dream. I want to hear your in my dreams. I want yout to show me things, God. Now, I didn't really have a choice on what kind of dreams. I think that that's obviously up to God. What's interesting is a lot of the dreams that God gives me is he will give me, like, warning dreams. So they're not always, like, rainbow, sunshine, butterflies. Sometimes they're a little freaky. I will be honest. But, yeah, I don't think we can really pick and choose what kind of dreams, but we can definitely ask God for dreams. And maybe that's like, a whole nother episode, honestly, of us, like, breaking down prophetic dreams. How do you even know if a dream is from God versus not? I will br. Briefly say that a lot of times that I know a dream is from God is when it is, like, insanely vivid. It doesn't feel like something I could have ever made up on my own. And it almost felt as if I lived it in real life. And typically, there's a lot of things that are in these dreams that are symbolic. Yeah, honestly, wait, that could be, like, a really fun episode. Maybe we just talk about that in general. But if you want to do your own research, you absolutely should. And it's in the Bible. It's biblical. People receive dreams from the Lord all the time. And so it's very much still a thing. Especially because we have the Holy Spirit. And so the Holy Spirit can minister to us even in our sleep. But ask if it's something that you really want. And you're like, oh, my gosh, God, I want to, like, dream with you. I want to dream with you. Ask, like, earnestly ask with your whole heart and be like, God, I want this so bad. If there are gifts of the Spirit that you want from God, and you're like, God, I want to experience this with you. You know, ask, ask. And if you still haven't gotten it, keep asking. I had to keep praying. I had to keep praying. It wasn't an immediate thing, but then. But then all of a sudden, it was unlocked, and the Lord gave it to me. And so now it's, like, one of my favorite things. It's, like, one of my favorite ways to communicate with the Lord. It's such a gift. Whoa. It's such a gift. And it's really sweet once you finally receive something from the Lord that has to do with just, you know, communicating with him on a deeper level, because it means that he trusted you with that. You know, like, I'm like, wow, God. My first reaction was, like, wow, God actually trusts me enough to give me these dreams. Like, he trusts me enough to talk to me in this way in my sleep, and he trusts me with these things. And it's so fun. And it's just another way to be more intimate with the Lord. It's fun. So that's what I would have to say about prophetic dreams for now, but potentially, we could have a whole episode about it because it's very interesting and it's cool. It's a cool thing.
