Hello everybody. Welcome to another episode of Christ with Coffee on Ice. I am your host, Ali Yost and it is a joy and honor to be here with you guys. If you are a new listener, I just want to acknowledge we have some new listeners. We've been gaining some more subscribers, especially on YouTube. So hi everybody. Thank you for joining the podcast. I hope that you guys have been enjoying it. This is truly the light of my life. Just just being able to come on this podcast and talk about my favorite person in the world, which is Jesus. And so yeah, I'm grateful that you guys are here and I'm also so honored to be able to do what I do. And if you have been a loyal listener and you've been listening for a long time, I love you as well. But welcome you guys. Happy Friday. We are back for another Friday and we have our coffee on ice today. We do. And. And we have our Christ first and foremost above all else, thank you, Jesus, for being Jesus. What a great day, guys. And I am just feeling so overflowed with gratitude and just affection. Like, I just feel the Lord's affection today. I don't know if this is something that's gonna, you know, really speak to a lot of you guys. I hope it does, because I was feeling it really heavy this morning of just. And I know I need it, too, of being brought back to the simple love of Jesus. I think that if, you know, you've been a follower of Jesus for a while, or maybe even just a few months, whatever that looks like, I think a lot of times it's very easy for us to kind of get into this performative. And we've talked about this before on the podcast, but just this performative kind of cycle of, like, waking up and doing your thing and even maybe losing touch with just the affection of Jesus. And, like, the simple love, that first love, that childlike love, that honeymoon, like, romance that you can have with Jesus. And, yeah, I don't know, I just think that a lot of times life can just sweep us away and, like, we can still have Jesus be a part of our life every day. It's not that we're neglecting him or not acknowledging him, but I hope this is making sense. You guys relate to that, where it's like, obviously Jesus is still very much a part of your every day, and you're praying and you're acknowledging him, but it's like we're losing the simplicity of the gospel. We're almost allowing, I don't know, like, a normalcy of just being like, yeah, Jesus, like, there he is, when it just should never be that way. Like, I pray that after today's episode, I don't know what it's going to really look like. I don't know what this episode's going to look like, but I just pray that we are brought back to just a tenderness and an awareness of his spirit and how it just isn't ever something to be taken for granted. And sometimes I think we can just kind of get used to Him. Like, we're like, yeah, I mean, what do you mean? Jesus, he's here every day. He's with me. It's not that that's a bad thing, but it's also like, let us never grow hardened or used to the fact that we literally have Jesus, and that's just something we never earned. That was something that he chose to do with dying on the cross was, like, because of the way that he died for us. We get to commune with him and his spirit is with us and we get to be connected to the Father because of Him. And so that is something that I just never, ever want to grow too familiar with. So I really feel led today, which we've done this before on the podcast. It's been a while. I don't know how long this moment is going to last. But wherever you're at, whether you're on a walk, whether you're in the car with your mom, whether you're in the car by yourself, whether you're. You're on your lunch break, whether you're in your bedroom, like, wherever you're listening to this podcast, if you're in your living room and I'm on your tv, great. Hi. But I just pray that wherever you are at, we can just come together and just pour. Pour our adoration out to Jesus. And I pray for a fresh washing. I'm gonna lead us in prayer too, right now, before we get into it, but we're gonna worship. We're just gonna look at Jesus and we're gonna pray and we're gonna sing. And I would love for all of us, unless you're operating vehicle, don't close your eyes. But I would love for all of us to close our eyes. Don't look at me anymore. And I want us to just look at Jesus. And I, I just pray for a fresh washing of an awareness of his spirit and a tenderness of our hearts towards him and that we can just feel his adoration. And we are just children right now. Like, in this moment, let us just be kids and be children of the Lord's and embrace that childlikeness past theology and like, you know, wisdom and all these things. And like, I feel the Lord encouraging us to just be like children right now. So I'm gonna pray a prayer and then we're gonna worship. There's this song that I've just recently found, and I was listening to it on the way here, and it's beautiful. It's called I Love youe, I Do by Caleb Batchel. He's incredible. I have honestly only listened to a few other songs of his. Anointed man, like Anointed man. And I just. I always feel the spirit of God when He sings. And so I'd love for us to wor together to that song. But first, let us bow our heads and just pray. Lord Jesus, thank you, God, that you are here with us today, Jesus. I just pray right now that we are coming together and this is just a space for you. To minister to our hearts. And so, Holy Spirit, I invite you right now into this moment where we can just slow down and be still. Holy Spirit, I pray that you just fill this room, fill the room of my friend on the other end. God, wherever they're at, Jesus, I pray that your love just pours into every space right now. And God, I pray that we can meet you right now as children who love you and adore you. And God, I pray that this is also an opportunity for us to feel your adoration for us that we can just receive from you, Lord. Lord, let us receive from you right now. I pray that if it's been a long time for us to really do that and slow down, God, I pray that our hearts are open and they are tender. And I pray for an encounter of your spirit, that our souls just need God, we're thirsty and we need you. And so I pray that this moment blesses my friend on the other end. And let us just commune with you and love you and feel your love, Jesus, I pray that every worry or stressor or obligation or responsibility, just any heaviness or things that could distract us from this moment, God, will you just let them fall? God, I pray that they fall right now in Jesus name, that in this moment we just forget everything else and we can just look at you because there are distractions and there are stressors and there are things that we need to get to after this. And so, God, I just pray that all those things fall and we can just be in the moment with you, even if it's just for a few minutes. Thank you, Jesus, we lift this time up to you. Amen. Okay, we're gonna play this song. I love it. You guys are also going to love it. It's amazing. Okay, we're just gonna worship. And I also, I encourage you guys right now that in your own words, wherever you're at, I can't hear you. Nobody can hear you other than Jesus. Like, just pour out your love to him. Confess, like, love him, be honest with him. Whatever it is that's been weighing on your heart, if there's anything that you've been afraid to bring to him, now is the time. He loves you. There's no judgment and he wants you to just say it out loud, whatever that is. It could literally just be like, God, I'm obsessed with you. Or it could be God, I've been carrying this guilt, I've been carrying this shame. Like, whatever side of the spectrum that is, I feel him encouraging you to just be honest with Him. He can handle it. He's not intimidated by it. And I pray that this is just a healing time for you and Jesus. I'm gone now, okay? It's just you and the Lord. Okay, Here we go.

All of my affection and all my devotion I give you, Jesus. So let every thought that I think Let every word that I speak and every song that I sing be I love you, Jesus. From every path that I choose to everything that I do, let it be only for you. Cause I love you, Jesus. When I'm in the middle of a crowd or even when there's nobody around Let the sound of my heart sing aloud that I love you, Jesus. And when I reach the end of my days and I finally get to see it face to face Let the life that I live simply say that I loved you, Jesus. Because I love you. I do. I love you, I do. I love you, I do. I love you, Jesus. I cannot hold it.

This is going to feel a little random. I don't know. God just lead me. As we were worshiping, I felt. I felt someone's mom. Maybe a few of your moms where maybe you have found Jesus. You've experienced his love. And I don't know if this is like your mom has grown up in religion. And hasn't actually experienced the spirit of God. But I feel that there could be a few of you guys listening who are feeling that burden for your mom specifically, that you just want her to experience the love of Jesus like the real Jesus, not the Jesus that humanity that we've curated in religion, right? You're like, I want her to encounter the spirit of God, and she hasn't yet. And so I just want to say that if that's you, the Lord has heard all of your prayers for your mom. And I would love to just lift that situation up because scripture also says where two or more are gathered. And I would encourage my other brothers and sisters that if this is not your situation, to also have faith with me, knowing that there is a brother or a sister on the other end that does relate to this and needs us to be interceding for their mom. And so where two or more are gathered, the Lord is close and he is listening and he is near. And so I just pray for your mom, if that's your mommy, Lord, I just lift up my friend on the other end of this podcast and their mom, Jesus, I thank you that you adore their mom. You've created their mom in your image, that you died for them. And so, Jesus, we just lift this relationship up with you, God. And I pray that whoever's mom this is, Lord, that they will. That she will encounter your spirit, and she will encounter your spirit soon. Today. Let's just have faith that it'll happen today. But God, we just ask that this, these scales that have been over her eyes of who she's thought you've been, which is good. I believe that she thought you're a good God and you're a faithful God. But then there's this piece of it that's been missing where she hasn't actually encountered your spirit. Like your love that just consumes is overwhelming. Actually. I pray for that affection and that compassion to fill her heart. God, I pray that the spirit of God is what she experiences. And Lord, I thank you for my brother or my sister on the other end that has been so faithful and prayerful for their mom. God, I thank you that none of those prayers have gone void, Lord, that you've heard, you've heard those prayers. So much so that you've put the burden on my heart to stop everything for us to all intercede as a family for their mom right now. That's how much you've heard their prayers. And so, God, I thank you that this is all also a testimony of your Faithfulness to your children in our faithfulness that you meet us there. Thank you Jesus. That they are seen and they are loved by you and that their mom will encounter your spirit. Thank you Lord, that we have the opportunity to come together as a church to lift one another up and to lift our families up. And so, God, I just bless them, I bless their family. Thank you Jesus. In Jesus name, amen. I also believe some of you that are listening could be recovering something physically, whether that's sickness, disease, an accident, whether you were in a car accident. And so, God, I just, I pray a blessing over my brother and my sister on the other end who is recovering physically, whatever it is, God, God, I pray healing over them, God, I. I plead the blood of Jesus from the top of their head to the bottom of their feet. Holy Spirit, I pray that your peace just washes over them from the top of their head to the bottom of their feet. I pray supernatural healing in Jesus name, God, Holy Spirit, I ask right now that you just work through this technology, work through whatever device is being used. I pray that you meet them where they're at right now, God, and you just wash over them and heal their body. God, I pray that whatever the doctors have said, whatever that healing process looks like, whether it's going to take months, weeks, God, I pray that supernaturally right now, you heal their bodies where it actually puts their doctors in awe, where they're like, I don't even know how you're recovering this quickly, but Lord, I pray, I pray that your compassion and your love just heals their body right now. Lord, I pray that you have compassion for them in this season, that it's hard, they're bedridden, they probably can't move much. You have compassion for them in that. Lord, this isn't punishment, this isn't your cruelty. Lord, I just pray you meet them where they're at with your love. Heal their body, God, heal their mind. I pray for a fresh washing of their mind. Any discouragement, any hopelessness, any feelings of just I want to give up. I don't want to hang on anymore. I don't want to fight. I'm in physical pain. I don't see how I could get out of this. Lord, I thank you Lord, that you see them in that. But I pray for a renewal of their mind and a fresh hope today that you are with them. You are near to the brokenhearted. Thank you Jesus, that you are with them. Supernatural healing. God, I pray for supernatural healing over their bodies right now in Jesus name. Thank you God, thank you for your blood, Jesus. I just encourage all of us right now, if you're still listening, if you're still here, to just relax every muscle in your body. Sometimes we could be holding tension in our shoulders, in our jaws. I know I do that. And I just encourage us to just shake it out. Relax every muscle, unclench your jaw, loosen up your shoulders and take a deep breath in. Hold it. And out. Thank you, Jesus, that we don't have to carry the burdens of our lives, Father, that you tell us you will carry those burdens for us, that your yoke is easy and your burden is light. And so I just pray any stressors of the day will just fall and we are able to surrender all of those to you, God. We're gonna breathe in again. Big, big, big, deep breath. Ready? We're gonna go. Hold it as big as you can. Biggest breath, you. And let it out. One more. Breathe in. Hold out. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, God, that you are the one that gives us breath in our lungs. Thank you, God, that we are safe. You are safe. Thank you, Holy Spirit. You are safe. You are safe. Thank you, Jesus. The Lord revealed to me that there's some of y' all that are listening right now who are really stressed about tests. I don't know if you have a big test coming up, whether that's school or has to do with career. Yeah. This is so simple. He's simple. But I feel the Lord saying, it's going to be okay. It's going to be okay. I'm giggling. I'm not laughing at you. I'm not laughing at your stress. It's. Hey, listen, you care and it's valid. But I'm giggling because it's just. It's. Jesus is so kind. He's just like, it's gonna be okay. It's gonna be okay. You're gonna pass. And he has a plan for your life. He says he has a plan for your life. So no matter what happens, Jesus, hey, listen, you might not have a plan depending on what happens, but Jesus does. He always did. He knows exactly what's going to happen, and he has a plan. He can't get caught off guard. And so I feel him encouraging me to tell you that as long as you're looking at him, he is the plan, because he's got a plan. You know what I'm saying? So you don't need to be worried on what. What do I. What happens? What do I do if I don't have a plan? If. If you're looking at Jesus. He's the plan. Because he has the plan. He's the man with the plan. He is the plan. So you. You already have one. You're good. Okay. Yeah. He's saying, I've prepared them. I've given them everything they need. They're prepared. You're prepared for this test, whatever it is. I don't know what it is, but he says, you're prepared, you're smart, you're capable. Yeah. You're really smart. That's what he says. That's what he says about you. Should I keep asking? I don't know. I'm like, geez, God, this is a cool episode. I've never done anything like this before. Just prophesying, I guess. Just the messenger. What else? Go ahead.
Worship Singer
Sam.
Ali Yost
Okay. I don't know if anyone is listening who is a nurse.
Worship Singer
Mm.
Ali Yost
It's a relatively new job. I don't know if you've been doing it for very long, but also, like, you're not new, but you're not. I don't know. It's not resonating with anybody, but I feel like, oh, Jesus, I hope this is the Holy Spirit. That's okay. You know what? If there's not a single person listening right now that relates to this, that's okay. But I feel like somebody listening could be a nurse. And you're a Christian. You love Jesus. Obviously you're here. And sometimes you wonder if what you're doing, like, obviously what you're doing is a good thing. You know, like, you're obviously helping people. And I think that you have a heart for evangelizing. Like, you. You. You have a burden for that, where you're like, God, I want to be, but I want my kindness to give you glory. Like, I want people to know that that's where it comes from. And I think sometimes you wonder if you're even making an impact in that way. You know, like, obviously you're helping people physically, but you're like, I don't know if I'm at. Like, am I spreading the gospel? I don't know, because, I mean, I can't always just be like Jesus in my job, you know? Yeah. And I want. Okay, I feel the Lord saying that the kindness that you extend to people at your job, whether that's your co workers, but I'm feeling patience, especially even though you're not blatantly saying the name of Jesus, I feel the Lord showing me that. He's reminding me that all of our souls were made for him. And so I Think sometimes we can get caught up in, like, gosh. But I'm not saying it's because of Jesus. Like, I'm not saying his name out loud, though. And it's like, it's hard because I'm at my job and I can't really do that stuff as much. But what I feel him showing me is that because our souls were all made to know Jesus, and the way that you look at them, it's going to feel familiar to them whether they know Jesus or not, because they were made for Him. And he's revealing to me right now to encourage you that just because you're not saying his name, they are looking at Jesus through your eyes. They're looking at Jesus. They see Jesus like, they're making eye contact with Jesus when you look at them. And so you may not be blatantly saying Jesus, but they are seeing home in your eyes. And so it is more than enough. Like, you don't actually even understand. And you may not see it until you get to heaven, but there are seeds being planted in people. Um, yeah, there are seeds being planted in people with just the way that you look at them. So don't be discouraged. You're evangelizing, you're spreading Jesus. You are, because he lives inside of you. And so it's almost like you have to, like, remove yourself from that. Believing that Jesus is living inside of you and he is speaking through you, even just on your face, like, the expressions on your face and through your eyes, like, he is working through you and that person is literally encountering him through you. And I think that because of what you do, like in these hospitals or there are people who are hurting and you know, the same way we were just praying about some discouragement and things that you can feel when you're physically sick or you're ill or you're going through things is. It's like, I think that those people, if they don't have Jesus, they're actually in the perfect place to meet him, because they're probably in such a place of desperation. And so remembering that you know that, like, these people are in the perfect position to meet Jesus, what you're doing is so impactful. If that's you, don't give up. The Lord sees the labor of what you're doing in that space and the hard hours that you work, the crazy hours that you work, know if they're 12 hour shifts, 14 hour shifts, whatever, but it's hard. And you're still showing up and being a light in that place and Gosh. Okay. It just keeps going. I feel like you feel that you're the only one in that whole place, in that hospital. I don't know if it's a hospital. Probably you're the only one. Like, there aren't a lot of, like, Christians that are on fire. Like, you are around you. And so sometimes I think what I'm saying, sensing, is that it can be discouraging where you're like, is it even making it like, I'm the only one God? Like, this feels like I'm, like, in the middle of the ocean by myself. And I just want to encourage you and tell you that you have no idea the treasures that are stored in heaven for you. And he sees your labor and just know that, like, everything you're doing in your workplace right now is worship to the Lord, and it is worth it, and you are making a difference. It's hard sometimes when we can't see it in, like, the physical, you know, but it is. So I felt the Lord wanting to really encourage you in that, if that's you. So praise Jesus. Thank you, God. Well, what an interesting episode, huh? You guys, I love you. Thank you for always being willing to just go on this ride of whatever this podcast is. Sometimes, I swear, I'm like, I sometimes don't really know, cuz. Yeah, I mean, we'll show up, we'll talk about topics, and we'll have guests and stuff like your traditional pod. But then there's moments like this where it's like, this is not. What is this? But, yeah, I'm just grateful for the way that the Lord led today, and I'm grateful for the way that you guys just really come on this ride with me, with Jesus. And, yeah, today was really special. This was really great, and I pray that it spoke to you. Thank you, Jesus. I have nothing else to say. I love y'. All. I'm so proud of you. Jesus loves you. He's so proud of you. Before we go, though, guys, can we do something cool? Can we show somebody how cool Jesus is? Can we walk more like him, talk more like him, look more like him? Yeah. I love y'. All. I'll see you in the next episode. Bye. Are some of y' all still listening? Okay, if you're still here, that means you're a real one, which is why I'm about to share this with you. Host: Ally Yost
Episode: Worship, Prayer, and Prophetic Words
Date: September 12, 2025
In this heartfelt and spontaneous episode, Ally Yost invites listeners into a space of raw worship, intimate prayer, and encouragement through prophetic words. The theme is a return to the simple, childlike love for Jesus, with a focus on vulnerability, healing, hope, and heartfelt intercession. Drawing from her own experiences and spiritual sensitivity, Ally leads listeners through worship, personalized prophetic encouragement, and deep prayers for physical healing, family restoration, and reassurance for those facing anxiety or big life moments.
Ally’s Opening Reflection (01:32): Ally welcomes new and returning listeners, expressing overwhelming gratitude and affection for Jesus. She shares her hope that listeners would rediscover the “simple love” and “childlike” connection with Christ, sometimes lost in routine or performance.
Challenge to Listeners:
Let’s reclaim “the tenderness and awareness of His spirit” and not take the daily presence of Jesus for granted.
Invitation to Stillness and Worship (05:06):
Ally encourages everyone to pause in their activities, close their eyes (unless driving!), and enter a posture of adoration and vulnerability with Jesus as children, beyond religious knowledge or maturity.
Corporate Prayer for Presence:
Exhortation for Honesty:
Worship Song:
Ally plays “I Love You, I Do” by Caleb Batchel, using it as a touchpoint for personal worship. Listeners are guided to pour out their affection for Jesus in their own words.
Encouragement to Worship Freely:
Ally’s approach throughout is conversational, empathetic, and deeply affirming. The tone is gentle, inviting, and often playful (“I’m giggling...Jesus is so kind...” [29:50]), creating a sense of intimacy as if sitting with a trusted friend. She weaves prayer, encouragement, and spontaneous prophetic impressions in language that is unfiltered and direct, consistently drawing listeners back to the foundational love of Christ.
