Hello, everybody. Welcome to another episode of Christ with Coffee on Ice. I am your host, Ali Yost, and I am so grateful and honored to be here with you guys today. How is everybody doing today? I hope that you guys are having a really great Friday, and you've had an incredible week so far.
B
Yeah.
A
I'm just excited to be here with you guys today. It's always such a joy and an honor. For real today. Listen, this is the thing sometimes with God, okay? I'll be like, lord, that's weird. And he's like, why are you calling me weird? Then I'm like, you're right. I love you. No, but sometimes I feel God wants me to do things on this podcast. And I'm like, God, this isn't a normal thing to do on a podcast. And then he humbles me every single time. Like, gently as a father, but he humbles me. And he's like, when did I tell you that this was gonna be a podcast? That's like all the rest of them. And also, when did I. When did I have to fit this mold of what a podcast is supposed to look like? Like, I'm God. And I'm like, yeah, you're right. Okay. No, you're right.
B
But.
A
But sometimes he has me do things that I am like, okay, God, it's kind of silly. It's kind of silly willy to my brain right now, but maybe it's not silly. Well, and actually, what's funny is that after I do things that are quite uncomfortable for me, then, you know, the Lord really does prepare that table in front of me and says, you know, with. With the response and the way that people are like, wow, I had no idea I needed this so much. And God's like, see, that's why I'm God, and that's why you need to listen to me, because I know what's going on behind closed doors. I know what's happening on the other side of this podcast, and I know what my people need. And so, Allie, I just need you to be obedient. I need you to do the thing. And every time I see why, every time I'm like, oh, wow, okay, that makes sense, God. Like, you were right. Like, God is always right, you know, like. And I just think sometimes we always want to argue with him, be like, no, that doesn't make sense, God. But that's weird. I feel uncomfortable. And then, you know, we just trust and we do it anyway, and we. We go, okay, if I look like a fool, then I look like a fool. But for some reason, I feel the Lord wants me to do this. And then typically, there's actually always really great fruit when you step out in that obedience, which is what keeps me going back to that kind of obedience every time is I see the way God, like, comes through in those things, and I'm like, all right, okay, yeah, I'll do it again, God. But anyway, I'm kind of sitting here and I, like, I'm having that moment with God where I'm like, this is weird. But I feel that the Lord wants us to worship together right now. He wants us to worship. And it was on my way here, it was this song. And I hope that it is a song. If you haven't heard it already, it's by Upper room. Abby Gamboa is leading it. I just felt a burden on my heart. For anyone who feels like they haven't seen the face of God in a long time, the name of the song is show me your face. And it's just beautiful. I love it. It's so filled with the spirit. And so I'd love for all of us to just sit together right now and just listen to this song and worship to our heavenly father together. And, yeah, I pray that if. If you're in a place where you could just sit back and, like, lay down, I just. I see a lot of people just laying down. Just like, laying. It's either on a ground or on your bed. Lay on the floor, like, whatever you want to do, but, like, rest. I just feel that we are supposed to rest in the presence of God and let him show us his face, let him show us his spirit. And I just pray that every person in this moment can just get a fresh washing of the spirit and that you feel his peace and his love. And, yeah, so I feel really led to do that. So we're going to do it.
B
We're going to do that.
A
We're listening to this song, and then I don't know what we're doing after that. I don't know if we're going to continue to worship. I don't know if there will be, like, a moment for us to talk and stuff. I don't know. So I say let's just flow and see what the Lord has for us in this episode today. It's different. It's going to be different. This is different, but we're just going to do it.
B

Well, I guess that was the episode was us just worshiping together the whole time. I actually really liked that. That was so much fun. That was a lot of fun. Thank you, God. I feel like we're supposed to end with prayer right now, so let's do that together as a family. Okay. Let's all bow our heads and close our eyes. Heavenly Father, we just thank you for your spirit, your Holy Spirit.
B
Wow.
A
It is such a gift. God, thank you that your spirit truly moved in this episode today. God, I thank you for the opportunity for all of us to just draw near to you. Whether it had been a long time that we have felt this nearness of you, God, or not. I just thank you for it. I thank you for the opportunity to be able to know your spirit. It is such a gift to be able to know your spirit and to have it draw near to us in times when we really need you. We really need you. God. I just declare peace over my brothers and sisters who tuned in today. I pray that after this episode there is a fresh hope for them that you are a God who keeps his promises, that you have made a promise to each and every one of your Children of Jeremiah 29:11, which reads that you have plans to prosper them and not to harm them, but to give them hope and a future. And so, Lord, I just thank you that that is their scripture. You wrote that for them to know and that you are a promise keeper. And so you have hope and a future for every single one of your children who is listening right now. God and I thank you that you are a faithful God. And I thank you that through every season of our lives, you are with us and your spirit draws near to us. God. So we just thank you for the opportunity to know your spirit. Thank you that we got to. And I just pray for more of a sensitivity to all my brothers and sisters who are listening right now to the Holy Spirit, to the Spirit of God. I pray after this that they just have a closeness. They hear you clearer, they feel you clear. God, I pray for visions and dreams and words. God, I just pray for the Spirit to pour out on them so that they can continue to just operate through your spirit and continue to share that with more people. Lord, I just pray that it is a rippling effect, that it is A domino effect where they get to now share the spirit of God with others just more clearly. God, I just pray that each and every one of us, just all throughout our lives, we just continue to be able to get to know your spirit more and know you more. God, we want to know you, Lord, we ask that you just show us your face. God, we want to see more sides of your face. We want to know more parts of your heart. Lord, we just humbly come to you and we admit that we don't have the power within us to do the very things that you're calling us to do without your spirit. And so, God, we just ask for more of that. We seal all of this in the blood of Jesus. Amen. All right, y'. All, Well, I hope that you have a beautiful weekend. I hope that you have an incredible week until next Friday when we touch base again. Who knows what we're doing next week? Who knows? The Lord really does take us on a roller coaster with this podcast. We never really know what to expect, but I love y'.
B
All.
A
I bless you. I bless you deeply. I love you so much. I'm so proud of you. And I will see you guys in the next episode next week. Oh, wait. Also, wait, before that, can we do something cool today? Can we show somebody how cool Jesus is? There might have been something that he showed you or taught you that you learned in this time. I don't know how the Holy Spirit could have been speaking to you, but you do. And so maybe we just pay that forward and we bring that and we bless somebody else with that wisdom or whatever it was that God brought. But I. I love y'.
B
All.
