This is an excerpt from Office Hours. One of our CFE members is talking to a local church pastor who has a really large congregation. This local church pastor was feeling the urge that God is asking him to do something different with this megachurch. She was asking me for my opinion on how a megachurch pastor can go against the trend of getting bigger and bigger for the sake of growth versus following what God has placed in their heart. Even though this is a question about a megachurch pastor, I want you to listen to my answer in regard to the things that God has called you to do. Maybe you have been at a particular thing for a season and it has grown to a certain point, but now God is asking you to do something different. Similar advice will apply in that situation.
