Work was meant to be a good thing, but what happens when we look to it to fill our longing for ultimate meaning and purpose in our lives? In this sermon, Dave explores how scripture speaks to these impulses and reveals where our true identity and purpose lies.

Does our work matter if it doesn’t create meaning; make an impact; or change the world? Is this work important if it’s not personally fulfilling? Listen as Dave unpacks scripture’s response to these questions.

In work, we are prone to assume all of our struggles are a result of sin and the world’s brokenness; these must be the thorns God cursed Adam and Eve with. But God created all of us with limits, which are good and intentionally built by Him. Listen to Dave unpack the doctrine of Finitude and God’s design for us in work.

In our second sermon in the series on Work, we step into the creation story and unpack what being made in the image of God means for work and its place in creation.

Every fourth Sunday for the past few months, we have had a side series, “Thank God for Work”; where we interview members about the work they do and how it fits into faith. The bible begins with God at work and this simple truth is vital to any Christian understanding of work. Before our work can become faithful, fruitful, or free we must see and receive God's work. Listen as Dave unpacks this in the first sermon in our new series on work.

Every fourth Sunday, we will pause from our normal sermon series to examine work. Work is essential to the Christian walk and a place where we get to exercise our giftings in shaping the world. Each of these Sundays, a few of our member's are interviewed about how they experience work.

We continue our series on the Apostle’s Creed; today, we look into the line “He Will Come Again.” Every religion and philosophy has an ending to it’s narrative. Listen as Dave speaks to this line in the Apostle's Creed and the ending to this age that God has authored.

We continue our series on the Apostle’s Creed; today, we look into the line “And is Seated at the Right Hand.” Listen as Dave unpacks kingship and God’s desire to rule through a righteous son.

We continue our series on the Apostle’s Creed; today, we look into the line “He Ascended Into Heaven.” Hear Dave speak to Christ’s follow through on all of his promises.
