hate gift giving and receiving.
A
Receiving gifts is so weird. What do you say? Thank you.

This is Coffee Convos with Kale Lowry and Lindsay Chrisley. I really want you to be in your feels.
A
Kale, that does not interest me whatsoever.
B
I feel very attacked by you. A spirited discussion about motherhood, friendship, family and life in the public eye. I'm just not with the fakery anymore.
A
There's a fakery bakery around here.
B
Here's Kayl and Lindsay.
A
Hello Coffee Combos.
B
Good morning and welcome back to another episode of Coffee Combos podcast. How are you?
A
I'm not well, Lindsay, I'm sorry that I was late and we missed an entire recording. I apologize. I was balls deep in this giveaway that I'm doing and I'm super excited for it because I tailored it to all of my favorite things, like my personal favorites, like a Kindle, Yetis, caraway, Louis Vuitton, shark vacuum. Like I'm doing this big giveaway and so I was like getting all the stuff together and I get a text from Alessandra and she's like, hey, are you getting on this recording or. And I was like, oh my God, I'm so sorry.
B
There's just so much stuff that's going on behind the scenes. I feel like we don't know if we're coming or going at this point. So I was like, okay, I already did school drop off. I was able to go and get gas. I was able to play with my pussy this morning, not yours. And just lots of things going on. Like I started my laundry. The cleaner is here. So we are probably going to hear 19 vacuums in the back of this recording. It's. It's some bullshit that is going on.
A
Do you require her to use all 19 vacuums just so that you're getting the use out of them or. No?
B
No. I am strictly like a shark, girly. But I have multiple sharks.
A
I also have a shark in this giveaway. I love my sharks. I. We talk about vacuum so much. I don't think that we need to give them a whole speech. But I will say I also love sharks so much.
B
Shark over Dyson all day.
A
I need to tell you that I. When I was coming home from Alabama, I was starving and I wanted pizza so bad that because we didn't eat pizza the entire time we were in Alabama and. And I stopped, we get to the airport and they have a pizza place like real pizzeria style pizza. I go, I'm starving. I eat it. I burned the out of my mouth. Okay, Lindsay, when I tell you instant blister liquid filled in it. Horrible. And a week later and my mouth is still tore up and it still
B
hurts me to eat, that is absolutely the worst. But it's like when you're so hungry, you just like want that first bite and you don't care what happens to you and then you suffer for it.
A
Yeah, I hope I'm skinny at least from eating pizza. From not eating at all a week because my mouth is tore the up.
B
Oh my God. Wait, I do have to ask you something.
A
Oh no.
B
I saw you being a poser.
A
A poser?
B
Yeah, I saw you.
A
You. It's like such like I saw you do it. What did I do? What was I being?
B
Well, you know, since you and I are such mean girls that we've been accused of, I'm going to straight up call you out. Why the fuck do you think that you are better than me to go and get $300 worth of needles when I can't even get one?
A
Listen, I'm pissed off, okay, Because I. And I told Emily yesterday I was with Emily at this event that I did. And I told her, I said, honestly, I have to go talk shit about you on my podcast now. And she was like, why? Like, okay, whatever. Emily has apparently known about needles for years. Like needles have been a thing for years. And she even got her kids For Christmas. I said, well, Lindsay just told me about them last week, so I did not know about them. She said, they don't. They're not the. All that they're cracked up. Cracked up to be. And I said, well, I'm upset with you because I feel like that is something that we would have talked about at some point, but she never told me about them. And I said, I. I'm recording tomorrow. Like, I'm gonna talk about you on my podcast.
B
Me. When I was like, when Jelly Shoes first came out. We've talked about this before. I got that from Payless when it hit the floor, okay? I was in either the white pages or yellow, whichever one is the business one. I was calling that Payless. I was finding out when those shoes hit the floor, and I was wearing those things around the house because I did not want anybody at school to know that they were a thing and that I had them first.
A
So.
B
So I'm a gatekeeping hell.
A
So on Saturday, you guys know that I call Pop up my dad at this point, you guys know that I never talked about him years. You know, when I first. First met him, I didn't really talk about him because there wasn't ever really, like. Not that there wasn't a reason to, but I didn't have, like a. Like, there was nothing to talk about on the podcast in terms of him, right? So his son has a child with one of my friends, Jenny. She lives in Philly now. She used to live in Delaware. Her dog. Her and her daughter came over on Saturday and they showed me the. The needles. Like, I got to hold it and squish it and all the things. And so we end up leaving. We end up going to Target, Walgreens, CVS called Ace Hardware, called Walmart, trying to find these needles. They're sold out everywhere. So I get online, I order them on Amazon, I order them on Walmart. And then Jenny called. She FaceTimes me, and she's like, I'm at Target. They have them. I'm buying all of them. So she bought all of them. She got me six ice cream. So Pop Up's gonna go get them this week at some point for me to have the needles. But, like, the hyper fixation is so real. And I don't know, because my kids have never brought them up to me. Like, my kids have never. And I think maybe that's why Emily didn't tell me, because our kid. Her kids already had them, but they must have not showed my kids or told my kids about them, because My kids never asked about them. It's more for me.
B
Oh, I don't want anything to do with Anito. Jackson is just to the point of obsessed. And I need to ask you, do your kids gamble at all?
A
Excuse me. Excuse me.
B
Okay, well, Jackson, he wants to bet for adults. So, like, it is a full blown legal situation. However, he joined, like, this Little League thing at the local watering hole with all these, like, old men. Oh, and he won $125 in. It's like, filling out squares or whatever. And he put his name on these squares. And then I got contacted and it's like, Jackson actually won it and it's $125. So he's been walking around with this envelope with $125 in it for since, like, Super Bowl. Okay. I noticed that he comes home with a shoe box, an Ugg shoe box. And on the top of it it says, needos, do not touch or throw away. And I'm like, I know nobody gave you all of those. So, like, where did they come from? He was like, oh, I've got money. I've got money. He took $40 from his gambling charade and was doing deals at the school for 40 bucks for a box of needles and an Ugg shoebox.
A
Honestly, he like mother, like son. You said you were selling Bubblicious. He said he's doing some transactions for needles.
B
Okay, listen, he came home, he washed him up. I have a whole picture of, like, him washing them in the sink. Make sure that it is posted. This is a very serious deal. I will take a picture of all of his needles that he has collected over the last week. We have yet to find a brand new one.
A
Okay, well, coming right up. Anti chaos is to the rescue. I'm going to get you some of these. I bought. I have six from Target, six ice creams. I bought a shit ton at Walmart and then I got some on Amazon. So I will send him brand new ones. Just wait. Just wait on it.
B
I just need to tell you also that I don't necessarily need you because this audience provided me a plug.
A
Can you provide it to me? Because I need them for me, not for my seven children.
B
Cracker Barrel.
A
Cracker Barrel. Needles at Cracker Barrel. I'll tell everyone.
B
Well, I mean, don't tell everybody.
A
Yeah, don't tell everybody.
B
Also, that's how they go missing.
A
Listen, I'm on the neato crack train. Like, I'm obsessed. I'm doing, but I'm also on this. Okay, so go to Alabama, Matt had one, so I had to get one. This is all the states that I've been to. This is my new hyper fixation water bottle. And you. It comes with a sticker sheet and you put the stickers on for each of the states that you've been to. And then the black and white ones are the ones that you haven't been to. So I will be getting to add a couple more when we go on tour.
B
How do you wash that?
A
They're waterproof stickers.
B
I don't like anything with a sticker on it.
A
Oh, see, I love all the thing stickers. I'm just upset that I haven't decorated my new water. My new laptop yet, but I'll get there.
B
I just don't understand why we would buy expensive items. And then what's that saying that my dad always used to say? Bumper sticker on Bentley or Bentley. Yeah, I mean, I like a little decoration. I'm a hypocrite. But I just don't. I can't get behind the sticker thing. Like, I also wonder what people are thinking when they go and buy a vehicle and they're like, this sticker looks so good. The one that says I love cats and they put it on their car. It's like, we don't need to know.
A
Yeah, I mean, that definitely is, but I also have tattoos everywhere. So, like, it's like, let's do a little decorating. You know what I mean?
B
You are a decorative little girly. Coffee Convo's podcast is brought to you by Progressive Insurance. You chose to hit play on this podcast today. Smart Choice. Progressive loves to help people who make smart choices. If you've been to the pharmacy lately and you get to the counter and you're checking out and you don't believe the prices that you're hearing and your jaw hits the floor and you don't know if you can pick it up, I have a solution for that and it is super plus rx. Okay? This is something we've all been through, right? We've all been to the pharmacy counter and when the pharma says the number, you're like, what? Is going on. Super Plus RX X actually has an 85% rule where you can save up to 85% on your prescriptions. It's the exact same medication you've always taken, just at a price that actually makes sense. And insurance isn't a barrier. So whether you're uninsured, underinsured or you have a high deductible, this works. Sometimes the super plus RX price is even lower than a standard insurance copay and they have total transparency, which is a game changer. There's no fine print, no hidden fees at the counter and no gotchas. You search for the drug, you see the price and that is what you pay. And the super plus advantage is that this isn't just a one off coupon, it's part of a membership designed to put money back in your pocket across travel, gas and now, most importantly, your health. And we really need that right now. So stop overpaying for your medications. Go to super.comrx right now to see how much you can save. We should address the elephant in the room really quick. While we're 10 minutes into coffee combos podcast, we should probably address some things. Okay, I'm going to start by saying, and I say that I want to start when we're literally 10 minutes in. We, Lindsay and I am speaking for both of us. We have seen a lot of the rumors and speculated speculation floating around the Internet about Kristen and, and things like that, and we can't talk about it yet. And we do want to give you guys answers. We know that you guys deserve answers and you guys loved her as much as we did. And unfortunately, it does go a lot deeper than medical. And without saying too much, you know, everything will come out and do time like it always does. And unfortunately, we can't provide any answers right now, but we hope to be able at some point. And we also understand that this is not going to stop the speculation. But a lot of what we're seeing online is they're not correct narratives, they're not correct speculation, they're not correct theories.
B
I don't think it's wise to ever talk about something until ready, prepared and have the green light to do so. And I've conducted myself that way in various different situations that I've been in my life. And I think it is the best thing to do to sit on it. I know it's like a weird time right now because all of a sudden Kristin's gone. There's a lot of stuff that's going on. So I think people are like, okay, these girls are just running fakery bakery. No, that's not what's going on. And that makes me upset.
A
We couldn't have predicted any of this. And so we just want to acknowledge the fact that, yes, it is deeper than stepping away from medical reasons. We want to acknowledge that. We don't want to act like nothing is going on, but we also, we cannot provide any answers at this time. And, you know, Alessandra did say, you know, you guys can say that, but it's not going to stop the Theorizing, it's not going to stop the speculation and we also acknowledge that, but we just wanted to give a little bit of context on why we haven't given a full blown answer or answers. There's a lot of moving parts and we still have all of the rest of the Killer team. Lyssa, Madison, Alessandra, Kayla, everybody is still collectively here. They were just moving people around within the entire real of Killer network. Southern tea, coffee combos, all of the things, they're all still here. We're just having to move, make some changes. But you guys will get to know
B
Madison and address that too, because we, I feel like we have had to make business decisions so fast over the last couple of months. I just want to say that Madison is full blown on the back end of Southern T and on my personal and speak on your side of stuff.
A
So Lissa is now moving over to coffee combos and just in for full context and transparency. I know y' all love when I say transparency. Madison and Lissa have been with me and all of the entities. I look chopped, but I say, hey, listen, on this recording. And she's just in the producer mode. So she's not like physically, like she's physically here, but not on camera. And she said she looks crazy, but she says hi. Her and Madison have been with Killer since the beginning of 2025, so they have surpassed their one year mark. And we're just kind of just making adjustments on the back end. But they are great. They are Gen Z. They both live in New York City and just, they're just like cool, like totally cool. Just keeping us young, you know what I mean?
B
I love Madison so much. He's like, she thinks of stuff that I don't even think of. And I'm like, is wait, is that just because it's a different generation?
A
Probably. And also they're just, they grew up in a different generation than us. And so what's really cool though, Lissa is an actress and she also, I think she minored in asl and so I thought that was really cool for Elliot because, you know, they can help each other out. And then Elliot also wants to act. And so it was, it was cool to learn that about her. Like, I mean, she was hired over a year ago at this point. But just so you guys know, like, they. And if you ever go to killer entertainment.com or if you go to kill lowry.com I think we also posted it on Instagram is like everybody's roles within the companies. So if you guys are ever confused about that. And I know that there have been a lot of moving parts, but if you guys are ever confused about that, it's always on the website or you can leave it on a rate like a Apple or Spotify review. We will see those first because they're isolated comments, and we don't get as many there as we do on the groups and the Facebook pages. So if you guys leave it there, we will see it first.
B
Outside of that, I want to get into this Taylor, Frankie, Paul stuff.
A
Oh, okay.
B
The entire Internet, I feel like, exploded whenever this news happened. And I'm like, why is there so much press that's around this, but, like, not other things that are going on in life, in the world? So that's just been, like, really crazy. But that also is reality tv. I have a lot of feelings about it, and I have conflicting feelings as well.
A
Lissa just asked, did we see the video? I did see part of it, but I did not see the child get hit by the chair or by Taylor or any of that. I turned it off before that because I have a lot of feelings, and like you said, some of them are conflicting. And I also. I feel like so many things can be true at the same time when it comes to this situation. And I am. I'm upset for everybody involved because obviously, like, this is people's livelihood. But also, ABC knew about her charges because they were public knowledge, public record. They still continued on with her as the Bachelorette for this season, knowing that she pled guilty to these charges back in 2023, I believe it was. So to me, ABC just had an easy out, in my opinion, and because people were outraged by it, which, again, I don't fully understand that when it was addressed, she pled guilty, she got help, she did all the things in 2023. I, again, I don't want to speak with, you know, about what I didn't see, which was the child. But I also want to acknowledge the fact that reactive. Reactive abuse is a real thing. And if she was ever dealing with a narcissist or someone who was violent first and did not film himself being violent again, I don't know. I'm just speculating. It's. We can't hold her to a different standard if he's in tear in antagonizing her and doing things like that, and then she's being recorded, that's not fair. But also, let's look at our president and then look at Taylor. Why are we holding her to a higher standard than our president, who is a literal Rapist. So I'll leave that there. Feel free to say whatever you want to say.
B
Like podcast when we never get political and then we get political, like, what is happening? Okay, so for those of you who have not seen it, which you're probably living under a rock, and I wish that that was the place that I was also living. Taylor, Frankie Paul is on Secret Lives of More Mormon Wives in Utah, and she got selected as the Bachelorette. That was also a little bit like, of a taboo selection because normally they choose within the franchise, bring someone on. So that was kind of a weird play. But also I get it. If there, if there was an opportunity to have someone as controversial on as Taylor as the lead, it makes sense for ratings. And I know historically that the Bachelor always has higher ratings than the Bachelorette. When all of this came out, I was mind blown at the video. I watched it in its entirety and I never saw the child get hit with a chair. But you can hear the noise in the background and you can hear him saying, you just hit your child with a metal chair. And I do believe reactive abuse is true. And I think two things can be true in this situation. He could have antagonized, she could have reacted. Throwing chairs is a little extreme. And doing something like that, not that it's right in any form at all, but doing that in the presence of minor children, that's what really got me caught up. I, I can't believe that that kind of behavior was going on with kids basically sitting on a couch.
A
I also am having a hard time with the, I saw comments of her, like, I don't know if they were old, but like, some of her cast members were like, showing her support and love in 2023 or whatever that was. And then all of a sudden the switch up and now they don't want to participate. And again, that's all alleged because we don't know these people in real life. But allegedly her cast members from Secret Lives of Mormon Wives don't want to continue filming if Taylor is going to be on the season, which I find very weird for the switch up, like what you knew to be true. Unless maybe they didn't see the video before. I'm not entirely sure on all of that, but I do find it very weird that now all of a sudden when the video either surfaces or resurfaces, now everybody is changing their tune. I, I, I'm not defending her, but like, she has been also very, very honest about her mental health journey and mental health struggles and things like that. And so again, I think that a lot of things can be true and we will never know all sides. But to your point about abc, it's actually really frustrating because they've always been and honestly Hulu to like being associated with Disney has always been like a very wholesome, clean cut situation. So why would you pick someone that is quote unquote controversial to begin with? Right? And then I also read rumors that they were actually looking for an out so that they would not have to release the this because they said that her storyline about missing her kids and being away from her kids wasn't hitting the way that they wanted it to. And so they sort of decided to pull it because of that and, and not the other way around. But then I also read rumors that she might be suing ABC because they knew about it, it was information that was readily available and now all of a sudden they pulled it when it was always available to them. Did you know that Fast Growing Trees is America's largest and most trusted online nursery with thousands of trees and plants and over 2 happy customers?
B
I did know that because I am one of those 2 million happy customers. I do not buy plants from anywhere else other than Fast growing trees. And just this past weekend I when I say I somebody helped me plant two of my hydrangea trees and I am so excited. If you guys have never heard of Fast Growing Trees, they have all the plants your yard or home needs, including fruit trees, privacy trees, flowering trees, shrubs and house plants all grown with a care and guarantee to arrive healthy, healthy. I also love that they have an alive and thrive guarantee promises that your plants arrive happy and healthy. I do not have a green thumb, but you do not need a green thumb, just quality plants that you can count on. And I also love that you get ongoing support from their trained plant experts who can help you plan your landscape, choose the right plants and learn how to care for them every step of the way. It is so great. It's like your local nursery, but anywhere you live with more plants that you will find anywhere else. So whatever you're looking for, Fast Growing Trees helps you find options that actually work for your climate, space and lifestyle. And I'm creating my dream yard.
A
I picked out azaleas and hydrangeas for the springtime. I'm super excited to get them in, but you have to look up where you live. On their website they have like a little chart that tells you what growing zone you're in so it doesn't set you up for failure. They want their customers to be Happy with whatever they pick. And so you want to pick something that's good for your climate. And I love that about them. So if you guys are interested, definitely check them out. I had my. My landscaper plant everything that I got from them right now. They have great deals on spring planting essentials. Up to half off on select plants. B
ABC should have done their due diligence. They would have had access to all of this information. I'm not saying the actual video itself, but the allegations of the video. I know Taylor has talked about the video on her socials, or maybe not the video, but the incident. She's talked about the incident on her socials. She's talked about it on Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. She's talked about it on podcast. ABC would have had access to all of that stuff. So at the point that something like this could have potentially surfaced and, and also a show like a dating show like the Bachelor and the Bachelorette, they do personality test, they do mental health evaluations. I mean, this is an extensive process that somebody goes through to be a lead on a show like that. And so they would have had a due diligence to make sure that they had vetted all of that stuff.
A
I mean, even for Teen mom, we had to do all kinds of psych evals and things like that. If they were doing that back then, I know for a fact they're doing that now, especially with Cancel Culture and everything else. And so like I said, those charges were public knowledge and she pled guilty back in 2023. So even without the video surfacing, ABC had knowledge of that. But what is interesting to me, too, is what were his intentions by recording her? Like, do you need evidence sometimes in a domestic violence or a very tumultuous relationship for, like, the police or the police report or whatever? Yes, but while he is active, like, he's actively antagonizing her in the video. Dakota held on to the video for three years and released it on their baby's birthday. The cops have had the video since it happened. From what she read, that's what Lissa just said. So that, to me, shows me that He. There is a deeper, darker side of that man than anyone is willing to admit. And again, as someone who has been in a situation in multiple situations like this, like, it is not fair to sit there and blame her only.
B
I mean, I would tend to agree with that. I did hear rumors and rumblings that Secret Lives of Mormon Wives was on hold for their current season. Right now, they're not currently filming. I have also read rumors that ABC is pulling this show, but they are going to air it on Hulu. That may or may not be true. Nobody really knows. I feel bad for all the contestants that were involved that could have potentially went there for the right reasons. And I think it's very fair to say with that franchise, a lot of people go there to get Instagram famous, to get Tick tock famous. Like, at this point, you don't know someone's actual intentions of why they're doing something. I do think that that show used to be way more wholesome than what it is now. So let's just call it what it is. I feel bad for some of the contestants that would have gone there for the right reasons, taken time away from their lives, potentially their children, their families, and now they're gonna really get nothing out of it.
A
I do feel it's. And I hope that people understand that I'm literally speaking to all of it, not just in defense of Taylor, Frankie Paul, but, like, I would agree with you, people have taken time out of their livelihoods and things like that. But I would be curious to know, like, if do they find out who the Bachelor is, but the Bachelorette is before they go.
B
I don't really know how that works behind the scenes, because I'm sure they have to have some. I mean, when you're talking about attraction and stuff like that, like, would. Wouldn't they say, like, okay, well, she has three children. The Bachelorette has three children. I mean, dads.
A
I mean, I feel like in today's world, like, that's more common than it's not. So, like, I don't see anything wrong with it. But I would be curious to know, like, what. What that whole process was. I. I would love to talk to Taylor Frankie Paul herself, because I feel like there's a lot to be said. Oh, Lissa just said, in a normal Bachelor season, they do not know who the person is. I've never watched the show, so I. I probably wouldn't have watched this anyway, but I know, and I've actually never watched the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. I just know who Taylor is. From tick tock and mom talk and things like that. But if they did continue the show without Taylor at any point, I don't know that it would hit the same, because I don't know any of the other people.
B
Well, I had Miranda on the Southern T when you and I were in Dallas. I had recorded with her, and this was, like, maybe a week prior to any of this coming out. I don't think any of them could have predicted that. Dakota's claiming he did not send it to tmz. The girl he's dating is all online in comment saying that. That he absolutely didn't, and she didn't. I don't believe that. I do believe that there is some kind of abuse, possibly both ways, and maybe he was just trying to dim her light, and he knew that that would cause such a stink that it would ruin it.
A
Yeah, I mean, Lissa just said he held on to the video for three years and released it on their kid's birthday. Like, you are sick in the head. For you to even think of doing that's like. Like, that's abuse. Like, that's literal abuse. Like, you're holding this over someone's head and basically saying, if you do this, I won't do this or I'm gonna do this unless you do this. That's literal abuse. Like, I don't care how you spin it.
B
To your point about cast members coming out and making statements, they were supportive, and then now some of them are kind of, like, walking the line, which seems very, like, PR heavy to me. Like, okay, well, because I am associated with this person, I want to make sure I cover my own ass. So I'm gonna put out some type of, like, publicly acceptable PR statement to make me look like I am not picking a side. It's reality tv. All these people are not as deep friends as what is being portrayed.
A
I agree. I. I definitely agree with that. Lissa just said, I watch Secret Lives, Mormon Wives. The girls have said for years that Dakota sabotages Taylor before big events in her life. I did see her. I saw her on the Oscars red carpet. One, I was shocked that she was by herself. I don't know that I would ever. I mean, I've done red carpets by myself, but, like, much, much, much smaller ones. I don't think that I could have done an Oscars red carpet by myself. So she's got the confidence way bigger than I could have ever mustered up. And two, again, like, to post a video like that on your kid's birthday and then around the Oscars and then around this Bachelorette, like, I. What do you mean you didn't do that? There's no way that you didn't have something to do with it.
B
That whole show, because I have watched it, is just treacherous. But it also kind of reminds me of Teen mom back in the day where all the girls were the girls, and then the dads wanted their piece of the pie and wanted their fame and their following. It's the same thing with Secret Wives of Mormon, Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. It's all the girls and then they had, like, mom talk, and then the dads wanted to create dad talk. It's. It's just, like, off. Like, let a girl have her day.
A
No, truly, like just the. A man being jealous. The way that I see it. And again, I'm. I'm truly speaking out of my ass because I've never seen the show. But what I've seen online also, what a flex it is to know who someone is without ever seeing a show that they've been on but knowing who they are. Like, I did this event yesterday that Teresa Giudice was on. She was in the beginning time, and then I was on the second. I was on the back end. I have never watched a single day of Secret Real Housewives. I've never seen any of them. But I know who Teresa Giudice is. Same for Secret Lives and Mormon Wives. I know Miranda who Miranda is because she was on your podcast. Outside of her and Taylor, I don't know any of them. So, like, what a flex it is to not even have seen their show and then know who they are for sure.
B
I have screenshotted something because I wanted to read it to you and see if you're in agreement. So this girl posted. I've been going back and forth on even saying anything because this isn't light, it's not drama, it's not entertainment. It's someone's absolute lowest moment being picked apart by the entire Internet. I need to say this carefully because both things matter. What happened is not okay. A child should never be harmed, even accidentally. That part is serious and it should be taken seriously. She does need help. She needs to learn how to regulate her anger and she needs to take accountability. But if you have never experienced reactive abuse, you might not understand what you're really looking at. I need people to understand. Something is deep, deeper here. Reactive abuse is what happens when someone is pushed and pushed and pushed emotionally, mentally, and sometimes even physically until their nervous system is completely shot. It's when you've been provoked, gas lit, criticized, manipulated and broken down over and over again to the point where your body is no longer responding from logic, it's responding from survival. It's not who you are, it's what you've been pushed into. It looks like anger, it looks like rage, and it looks like losing control, but underneath that, it's pain, it's fear, it's trauma, and it's person. It's a person whose brain has been living in fight or flight for far too long. I know this because I have lived it 1000%.
A
I literally got teary eyed because that is so true. And it's not fair at all. It's like, okay, let's hold her accountable for her actions, but also recognize that that didn't come from a place of just being who like that is. Somebody was actively pushing her to that point too. And, and she's not ever, to my knowledge. She's never hid or tried to be to claim that she was perfect. She has talked about it on social media that I've seen about her, where she was at mentally, and so I feel like that needs to be considered as well. This episode is brought to you by Pocket Hose, the world's number one expandable hose. Old fashioned hoses get kinks and creases at the spigot and the copperhead pocket pivot swivels 360 degrees for full water flow. You guys know that Lindsay always talks about doing her pressure washing on this podcast and it's one of my favorite things about her. But also, spring is here. So I just switched out my traditional hose with the pocket pivot hose and I'm obsessed with it. I'm so happy with it. Pop up, set it all up for me and showed me how to use it. And it's super light, it's all ultra durable and it's backed with a 10 year warranty, which we love because we love to save money over here at Coffee Combos.
B
I love my pocket hose so much and I love that you mentioned my pressure washing because girl, that has been in full action with spring on the rise. The pollen has been so bad I hooked up my pocket hose. I did it all myself. It was so easy. It is so light, it is ultra durable and I will never change.
A

A
Yes,
B
Gabby's. I believe it was her mom that came out and spoke and someone picked this up. It was from xoxo. Bravo girl. She said. I also want to remind everyone about what happened to Gabby Petito. The police footage. When they were pulled over she was in complete manic state and when her parents saw that they said that was not how she acted normally, if you remember, because she did end up hitting him after all the things he was doing to her. I believe he pushed her first after tormenting her. But they treated him as the victim and had him put in a hotel while she slept in a van. She ended up being murdered by him less than two weeks later. If you google Gabby Petito police footage and look at the second video, which is a little bit over three minutes. That's what I'm talking about. And again, all of this is just for everyone to keep an open mind about how everything. Him following a restraining order, him filing a restraining order now to me really is just ridiculous because if he was actually afraid of her, he would have done it a while ago. I believe that this is all just pure manipulation and further abuse. I still cannot believe that the video from three years ago was released. And I still cannot believe that TMZ posted it and all of these accounts kept resharing a video. Am appalled and shocked at all of this. Literally everyone is contributing to further abuse by doing this.
A
I agree with you. I would agree with you. I would agree with that woman.
B
It's just so hard it.
A
Because even if you are in support of Frankie, of Taylor, Frankie, Paul, we're going to get in trouble for, for seeing both sides of it. We. We could get. Get canceled or people will look at us sideways and things like that, which I don't think is fair at all.
B
So moving on from that, let me tell you something else that I am hooked on. Do you follow Aspen Ovard on Tick Tock?
A
I've never heard of that. Is it a woman or a man?
B
It's a woman. So if you've never seen her, you have to go and look her up. But she's known for content on home fashion and motherhood. She has three children. She got divorced sometime like early 2024. And she was originally from Utah, then moved to California. And I'm bringing all of this up because also Utah Mormon. So she was like an OG YouTuber and she grew up in the Mormon faith, but like not, not like strict Mormon faith. And now she's in a throuple.
A
What? I'm going to look her up immediately. And Lissa just said that she knows who I am. Aspen knows who Kale is. She responded to a comment about Wawa, about Kale
B
kill. What is the deal with you with Wawa?
A
I don't know. I'm following her right now. I just followed her.
B
So she's in a throuple. She's in a throuple. So I. So after she got divorced for me. What?
A
I want one. I'm just, like, so curious about throuples. Like, I could not participate in one, but I'm so fascinated by other people have, like, being in a throuple.
B
Well, that's also me. And that's why I'm, like, hooked on Aspen right now. Because I'm like, okay, you were married to a man, had three children. You moved to California from Utah. Now you are attracted to women, which, whatever, probably found herself. But then somehow you end up in a throuple. I'm like, how does that work?
A
Is her. Is this her girlfriend? Brie is her.
B
Yeah.
A
Her friend is hot.
B
Her girlfriend's beautiful.
A
Oh, yeah. Like bombshell, smoke show. They both are, honestly.
B
But isn't that crazy?
A
Like, how I love for them that you imagine. Like, you. I know that you're strictly dickly. Like, I know that. But there is just something so magical about female relationships, like, two women. Because women are just best friends in a different way than men are and in a different way than a man and a woman can be best friends. Like, lesbian relationships. Like, you're with your best friend in a best friend way and a lover way. Like, it's just. And I get that you can have it with your husband. I understand. I understand. But it's just different. And you can't put it into words
B
how different it is, because girl relationships are different than a girl and a guy. I will tend to agree with that.
A
Yeah.
B
I just don't understand. And maybe I'm ignorant, which people probably say, yeah, you are. How you have three kids, and then you move to California, and now you're divorced, and now you have a girlfriend, but you're in a throuple.
A
Is the third one a man?
B
Yeah. So her girlfriend has a husband.
A
He's probably in heaven. He probably loves it.
B
What I do know is that I was watching A Tick Tock last night, and it was like. Like, they went on this thrle trip, okay. And in their. Like, Airbnb, it was bunk beds, and the girlfriend and the husband were sleeping on top, and Aspen was sleeping on the bottom.
A
What?
B
And I'm like, so is it like, we only. Oh, I can't go this way. We only share, like, at certain times. Like. Like, I'm just so fascinated. Like, Aspen, can you come on the pod?
A
Yeah, can you come on the pod? Can we talk to you and Brie? Because y' all are just. I just love this so much.
B
Like, I think this soon. And I feel like they would be great guests.
A
I would love that. I would, I would. And again, like, I'm. This is never coming from a place of judgment from me. Like, I'm genuinely just so curious and I'm living vicariously through them. So, like, I would love to just shoot the shit and ask them all the questions.
B
I just don't. How does that happen? Like, you have your husband first.
A
Ask yourself. First ask yourself, do you think that you can be in love with two people at the same time?
B
No.
A
Okay.
B
You do?
A
Yes.
B
Tell me. Tell me more.
A
I don't know. I just feel like you can love two people. I think you can love three people at the same time. I don't think it's the same. I don't think that you can. I mean, maybe, maybe you can, but, like, I definitely think that you could be in love and love more than one person at one time. Do you have a preference? Maybe, Maybe not. Also keep in mind that this is a woman being in love potentially, potentially in love with a man and a woman. Those loves are going to be different. Now. We don't know if Aspen is also hooking up with the husband. It could just be the wife that's hooking up with both.
B
It almost sounds like that to me. I think it's the wife that has Aspen as her girlfriend and then she also has.
A
Wait, Lissa said she is Lissa. The fact that you even know. How do you know this stuff? And I don't know, they say they're all dating and there's pics of her kissing the husband. Okay, wow.
B
So nobody kissing my husband. I think you can only be like full blown in love with one person at a time. And maybe.
A
But if you think about it, that's because that's what society has, like, constructed for us, is that they say that you can only do that. So I would argue that, like, a big portion of us have never had the opportunity to be in love without, like, the jealousy and like, the stigma and like, the taboos that are attached to it. So, like, none of us, I would argue, have ever really had the opportunity to even potentially be in love with two people.
B
I mean, I would kind of agree with what you're saying, but I don't think that I have the ability to be able to do it fair.
A
I mean, I think I could be in love with a man and a woman at the same time for sure.
B
Okay. I think that's a whole different conversation.
A
Yeah.
B
For somebody who is bisexual, I think that that is potentially true. Because you're gonna get get something way different. Like when we started this conversation, you're going to get something way different from that girl than you're going to get from that guy. So do I think that could be true? Yes, I do. I can tell you for a fact right now that the way that I have love for one person that I have never had before. Have I been in love before that person? Yes. But is it the same kind of love that I have for that person? Absolutely not. Nobody holds a candle to that man. Don't with me. And it's like that's just. That's what it is.
A
Yeah. No, but you, you can't compete where you don't compare.
B
Oh, I love that one. You can't compete where you don't compare.
A
Like you're not even close. So I don't know why you can't eat. You can't. Huh. Cozy Earth. Okay. I just wore my Cozy Earth pajamas to bed last night. And a foundational Cozy Earth essential is all of their things designed for bed. Okay. We're talking about naturally breathable temperature regulating materials with these really soft comforters that help your body settle, but also their pajamas. Okay. They also have Essential socks, a small grounding comfort designed for everyday life. Cozy Earth essential socks are soft, breathable and thoughtfully cushioned to support you from your first step to your last last every single day. And I absolutely love all of Cozy Earth's products.
B
I love Cozy Earth so much. I was just saying that the cleaner is here today and I laid out my Cozy Earth sheets and my comforter. I used to not be a comforter girly, but they have one of the best comforters ever because it's designed with naturally breathable temperature regulating materials. I get so hot at night, but they are so luxuriously soft and they just help your body settle, cool, calm and gently support you through the night. And it feels truly like a cloud kill. I don't know if you have it or not, but it is so good.
A
I don't. But I do have their pajamas. Like I was saying, I got the black ones with the white piping detail. I wore them last night. They're so, so comfortable.
B
I also have the gray ones with the white piping detail and they're some of my absolute favorites. I also love that Cozy Earth offers a hundred night sleep trial so you can try them for yourself. A
What?
B
This toxic cycle that I go through. I mean, on now I'm. I'm on. I'm gonna get IVF and I'm gonna have twins.
A
Okay, we need to talk about that for a second because this sounds horrible, but I mean it in the most loving way possible. I know I've said it before, but I want to remind you, you, everyone that I love, I want them to have twins because I love my twins. I love being a twin mom. I love all the things I. I think I told you this, but Valley had an ear infection. Took her to the doctor. She was crying for Versie and she calls him Versie and she's crying. She did not want to be separated. When I go in there, they're still. Now they're in two different cribs in the same room still. I went in there yesterday morning and they were both standing up, like, talking and like playing with each other other from their individual cribs because they're like next to each other. And so when they both look at me at the same time, it's just. If you ever did ivf, Lindsay, I would wish for twins for you.
B
I just don't know if I can get behind like, the shots. You know what I mean? Like, scares me a little bit.
A
Sure, I could see that.
B
But also, if I show up with twins, everybody also minds your business. Ask.
A
Ask Becky about the shots because she. I gave her a shot one time for her ivf.
B
I feel like it's such a good idea, but at the same time, it's so terrifying. And then also at the same time, I have a 13 year old which can just like kick it with me anywhere. So it's like, okay, am I really, like, gonna get out of baby brezza? You know, like, not the baby brezza.
A
No, but I get that though. It's like the idea sounds great. And like, how cool when you fall in love with someone I think you're natur times your natural, like, instinct is like, okay, we. I would love to, like, procreate with this person. But, like, the idea versus the reality of it is two very different things. And like, there is a real thing called post nut clarity, Lindsay.
B
No, I know, but I've been thinking about this for years.
A
I know you have. So it's like.
B
It's like something like, bothers me. And then I was just having a conversation with somebody the day before yesterday, and it's somebody significantly older than me that has grown own kids. One kid that's like, about to be out of the house. And this man was like, I don't know what I'm gonna do when I'm an empty nester. And then it made my wheels start spinning and I'm like, I actually don't have a whole lot of time until I would be that. And what would I do with my. Like, I might as well just have a stroller.
A
I might as well have. Well, there are people who regret motherhood or maybe they just regret, like, the. The. The responsibility of motherhood. They don't regret their children. They just didn't realize how hard it was or whatever. But I don't think that you're one of those people. And so it. I don't necessarily think that you would regret having one, but you might regret not.
B
I feel like I would regret not. And also we have to base it off of my situation. I've been divorced almost five years, so 50 of that five years I've had to, like, dedicate to myself self. And so I don't feel like I'm like, losing or missing out on anything by having two cribs. Like, that's not gonna really move the needle for me.
A
If you had twins, I would be in heaven. Like, that would be so great for me.
B
And I will not be telling anybody the names before I do this. No.
A
Because then everyone will say horrible things about all the names that you pick or they'll take them and. And it just. It's not worth it. So you keep it close to the chest.
B
We. Can we talk about that for a second? Because have you ever, like, when you were naming your kids, like, gone down a list and you're like, I actually hated that person from high school. I would never. I love the name, but hated the person?
A
Not that I can think of off the top of my head. No. But I could see why that would be like. That would be like, you get with somebody and they want to name their daughter after, like, Their ex. Girlfriend. Girlfriend. Like you got me up off the extra. Or like naming somebody after like a girl they slept with, like immediately. You better remember every single girl you have ever slept with because we are not naming our daughter after someone you had sex with or our son after someone I had sex with.
B
I'm just talking, let's be honest.
A
I mean, it's not out of the question.
B
Okay. I need to tell you something that you and I are going to watch. You just don't know it yet. Yet.
A
Oh, okay. Well, let me take notes.
B
It's on Netflix.
A
Okay.
B
It's called the Age of Attraction. I've been seeing a lot of hoopla on Tik Tok, you know, some little hoopla on Tik Tok about it. So it's a reality dating series and it's 40 singles age 22 to 60 date without knowing each other's ages. And it's hosted by Nick and Natalie.
A
Nick Viel. Nick Vile.
B
And we know that. I hate that guy. And I'm not watching it for the host. But Nick and Natalie also have a wide gap in age as well. They do, they do. So I think that that might be why they had been selected. I don't know. He may have pitched the show. I have no idea. Idea.
A
But what is the gap? Is she younger or older?
B
She's. She's significantly younger than him. Oh, I want to say, like, let me Google it.
A
Oh, wow. He's 45 and she's 27. Yeah, they're an 18 year age gap. I had no idea.
B
That's like me and David.
A
He looks great for being 45.
B
He does look great for being 45. Five. David and I are 16 years apart.
A
She really.
B
I'm 36 and he's 52.
A
What is that? Can you talk about? Can we.
B
What business do I have doing that?
A
Here's the thing, and I. I'm gonna maybe go off on a tangent here. You have been married, divorced, have almost like a 13 year old child. You're not in the party scene. You're not going out to the clubs. You're not doing all of that stuff. So to me it kind of makes sense that you would d. Because he also has been married, divorced, has one child. Like you guys are kind of on the same playing field in terms of that part of your lives. And like, I would imagine he's also not going to the clubs. Like going out is one thing. Go to the bar when you don't have your kids is one thing. The bars is not.
B
The clubs Might as well be.
A
Okay. So I can see why dating him makes sense for you. And also, like, him owning his own business and things like that. Like, that does make sense. Sense. But I don't know. Natalie and Nick's story, but that's so fascinating to me that I don't know, like, the whole situation is so fascinating.
B
Like, mainly I am interested in it because I've been in an age gap situation. So I just want to see, like, what it looks like played out on TV and, like, what other people's experiences are with that. It can be kind of scary. I'm not going to lie. I was watching a TikTok the other day, and this girl was, like, roasting. She had just got out of an age gap relationship and she was like, I should have known. I should have known. If nobody in his age range wanted him, why did I want him? And I'm like, kind of makes sense. But then, like, also it doesn't because maybe he doesn't want somebody in his age range.
A
True. But I just. I guess I wonder why date up that far. I could see why people date down, which is obviously gets concerning when you get to a certain point. But I'm just, like, trying to figure out, like, for people who date up, like, for you, like, what did interest you in David knowing that he's in his 50s?
B
Okay, well, my relationship prior to David was a six year guy gap. And then Will and I were six monon gap. So then I started, like, nearing. I was. I was feeling a little bit better about the situation with the six year gap. So then when I met David, it just kind of happened. It's like I wasn't thinking about him being 16 years older than me.
A
Right. I mean, to your point, I was six years older than Elijah, but Ike and I are only six months apart. And then before. Before Elijah, Chris and I were two years apart. Javi and I were six months. Joe and I were six months. Honestly, that wasn't really getting me very far.
B
I mean, if we're just having truth Hour, you know what I mean? Wait, have you ever, like, have you ever really, like, started thinking deep about life and then you have, like, dreams about those people? People?
A
Not really that I can think about.
B
I did that last night. I was thinking, because I was wanting to watch this show, and I was just like, I'm not starting it tonight because I'm gonna make Kale start it with me, and we're gonna watch this social experiment unfold. And also the social experiment that I've done for my Own self in my own life. And I. I guess because I was thinking about, like, my entire trajectory, like, of my past. It's like I woke up having a dream that one of these people that I dated moved to, like, my little town.
A
That's the trope of a love novel.
B
And I said, no, let me wake up and check their socials and make sure they didn't.
A
Did you check their socials?
B
Yeah, I did. I wanted to make sure it said their same city. Because I'm like, if I have. And I do not want to manifest this either, because diabolical, I would have lost my mind.
A
Those dreams where you wake up, up, and you're like, this feels too real, and like, you're scared and like, I need to double check to make sure this isn't happening in real life. Those are the worst kinds of dreams.
B
It's the worst. And I woke up and literally the first thing I did this morning when my alarm went off, I checked socials to make sure the location said the place it was supposed to be.
A
Thank God. I would have lost my mind.
B
Thank God, because I ain't trying to deal with that. Like, I've got to go to IVF clinic. Like, I'm too busy.
A
Booked and busy with these IVF injections. Okay.
B
And busy. Okay. Before we move on, I need. We're gonna do foul play, but I need to ask you and everybody who's listening to this, is it a psychotic tendency to drive your vehicle on empty with a light on to see how far you can get? I hope not.
A
Rebecca does it all the time. She says.
B
Said, I do know it's going to out at some point.
A
No, that is a mental illness, because I cannot. Like, I'm filling my tank when I hit a quarter down. Lives in the city, but. So she doesn't drive as much anymore, but she says I did that a lot. Or I hela. I don't even know how to use hela in a sentence. I did that hela when I drove. That's what Lissa said. No, I ran out of gas too many times to count in my early, early, early twenties that I do not let it go get below a half a tank.
B
Wait, let me tell you this funny story. So when I was in high school, I've been doing this same gig and, like, gimmick since I was in high school. So my dad would used to pay for one tank of gas a week. And it's like, you get one tank of gas, and that's all you're getting. So if you Think you're going somewhere and you don't have gas, you're not going anywhere. I'm like, okay, fair enough. Right? Okay. So I tell Julie to take my car, car one day and she's driving up to the Zaxby's that ran out of gas.
A
Did she fill it up?
B
Well? Yeah, like she had to get help. My God.
A
Did you get in trouble?
B
Yeah, I got in trouble and I still am doing it when I'm 36.
A
But did you think she would fill it up before she did it? So that you were going to get a free ticket, an extra tank?
B
I honestly didn't know what was going to happen, to tell you the truth, because I had never ran out of gas before and I thought it just like keeps going. Like it's just like a trick. Like, no, I feel like gas, gas is kind of a trick. Like you have way more gas than what you think that you actually have. You know what I mean?
A
Yeah, I could see that. But when I tell you like the first five years of my 20s, there was at least a handful of times and I don't know why, I think it was like my untreated ADHD D or something. I mean, I was on the side of the highway, I was in a McDonald's drive thru. Like just absolutely diabolical situations where I ran out of gas and I did not.
B
I know what's going to happen to me one day. One time I drove, this was like a couple weeks ago. I just like kept forgetting and I wasn't thinking of it. So I drove on it for three days and didn't run out. That's why I'm saying that I'm not telling anybody to test the limits. But like, if you want to do an experiment for us, will you just drive with your gas and see how far it goes? Like how many miles past the light
A
maybe also before you do it, like fill up a gas tank and put it in your trunk so that you, you won't have to call aaa because also you could have aaa, which I do. They still take kind of a long time to get there and it could throw a wrench in your plant hands. So maybe just have like.
B
Remember when I almost ran us out of gas on the freeway in Tennessee?
A
Lindsay, I will never forget. I thought we would. We were going to be stranded on the side of the road.
B
I just kept watching it go down and just kept passing exits. I'm like, oh, we're now at zero. Now there's an exit for 10 miles.
A
And those were some back ass country roads. AAA wouldn't have found us.
B
You're back ass country.
A
I mean maybe.
B
On that note, let's do foul play.
A
Do we have a foul play?
B
We do. I'm gonna read it.
A
Okay, deal.
B
Hi Kayl and Lindsay. My name is Emily. I'm 33 OG fan of kale. I love coffee combos and want to share a crazy story with you guys on my extra father of my youngest daughter. I was with this man for 10 years. I thought everything was good. Let me be specific. He had an uncle who was always helping him with everything. His family knew him. He would come to family events. I thought he was legit a part of the family and one of his uncles. I'm not sure where this is going normally by this point I know he
A
also I feel like fall in love. She's gonna him or something.
B
He always had a lawyer he he used quite often in his plumber field field and the trouble that he got in often. Then the old man that he claimed he did work for. As time went on, I got a little bit more suspicious of the relationships that he had with these men and if they were truly part of his family or what it was. Well, he came back from a bar one night drunk and left his phone on the table. And I proceeded to go through it, I mean as you should, only to find a full blown butthole. Pictures of two of these men and the other one getting pictures of my butthole himself. No, I just don't see like what we're getting out of buttholes.
A
You know, like you're attracted to someone's butthole. Like that turns you on.
B
It's just. It's like a weird thing to like look at.
A
I don't even know what my own looks like.
B
Okay, so she says his family was trying to still vouch for them even now. I was like, if this is his blood uncle that's messed up up in so many ways. They were like fine. He's just an old friend of his uncle's. Come to find out all of these three men were his sugar daddies. He did not have a plumbing business and he did not bring his own money to pay for the bills. He was literally putting his butt up in the air for these men he had brought into my life and put in my face. Then when I called him out, he proceeded to gaslight me and tell me that a lot of men do this and it's not that bad. We have been separated for three years now and he won't even see his daughter Because I'm telling all of his secrets. And now you've exposed him to coffee combos podcast. So he claims he's. He claims. He claims while he's still doing all of them, he had to get a restraining order and everything because he was obsessed with me knowing the truth and still not trying to see his daughter. That is it for today.
A
First of all, you. I'm. I'm stuck on the part where she said where he. I'm stuck on the part where he says, lots of men do this because now I have to go through Ike's phone to make sure that he's not getting butthole pictures from people that he claims to be family members. Like, I need to see your phone, please. I mean, I'm not seeing anybody in here that is. Would be sending butthole pictures.
B
But, like, okay, well, I have, like, a funny tea story to tell you. And it reminded me of this. This. So I used to have this one friend that she was having, like, an affair with this man for a long period of time, but I didn't really know about set affair because I thought that she was happily married. Okay. So all of a sudden, I meet her for lunch one day and she's like, I'm in a lawsuit. And I'm like, what could you possibly be in a lawsuit for? Like, you don't even do anything. Like, how could you get in a lawsuit? Oh, no, ma'. Am. A lawsuit because the wife of this man went on his iPad because his text messages were backing up to said iPad.
A
Oh, God.
B
Goes on his iPad, sees all of her nudes on the iPad, turns them over as evidence in a court case. And my used to be friend, I'm no longer friends with this person. Person used to be friend, had to get on the stand and they showed her a picture of her butthole and they said, does this belong to you? And she said, I don't know. I've never looked at it.
A
Same, same. It's like, I don't. Why do I want someone looking so closely at my. When I can never see it that close? Do you know what I'm saying? Like.
B
Or bold enough to be like that. Like, in a camera, you know what your butthole looks. Looks like?
A
Why. Why is anyone turned on? Like, it's so fascinating to me. Like, why are we turned on by, like, there's nothing attractive about a man or a woman's butthole.
B
I had a conversation with somebody yesterday about, we need to really get to the bottom of, like, the play.
A
Rebecca said, no, we don't we do. I don't play. I don't like butt play. It's not for me. But like, if anyone loves buttplay, can you tell me why? Thank you.
B
I mean, that's a private conversation that I will have with you and then we'll discuss if we're going to discuss it on the podcast.
A
Okay, Fair. Fair enough.
