Paul addresses the Gentiles in Rome about their behaviour. By understanding what life was like in Ancient Rome, we can see how these verses prompt us to examine our own lives to make sure we're putting God first and paying attention when he speaks.Passage: Romans 1:18-32Series: RomansSpeaker: Claire WongDate: 11/2/25

Last words are powerful. Sadly, David's last words were a mix of the good (as he reflected on the dependability of God), the bad (as he revealed festering grudges) and the ugly (as he ordered mafia-like killings). David's light dims but the disappointents we may feel in his failings are transformed to delight when we see him as a shadow of the one to come - the second David. This King sits on the throne forever and is the one flawless servant of God.Passage; 2 Samuel 23:1-7; 1 Kings 2:1-11; Matthew 1:1; Romans 1:1-3Series; The Rule of King DavidSpeaker; Rich ColbrookDate; 09/28/2025
